Daiki's Social Links

Father:

Hachirou Tanaka is a smart man who married just out of high school. He claims that life was to boring to just let it pass by slowly, so he popped the question to his now wife on a whim. It’s clear that all the boys get their looks from him. He is also likely the person that Daiki picked up his habit of rambling from. He father does it constantly, but less dramatically and knows when to end. He is now thirty-eight years old, and can’t believe he has so many children. The only regret he has is that he can’t seem to raise a “perfect child”. He’s hoping to get it right with Hana.

Mother:

Arisa Tanaka, age thirty-seven. Daiki’s mother is very quiet and nurturing, and Daiki thinks all women should be as graceful and caring as her. She’s spent, literally, half her life raising her children and a good chunk of those years taking care of Daiki before he got better. She wishes she could get Hideki and Naoki to behave, but she doesn’t have the courage to order them around, fearing they will hate her. Most of her time is spent in the house, since she doesn’t have a job, cooking, cleaning, taking care of the baby, etc. Her husband offers to help, but she always turns him away. Their relationship is just fine though.

Younger Brothers:

At fifteen and sixteen years old, Hideki (white hair) and Naoki (dark hair), respectively, are the troublemakers of the family. Neither of them really likes Daiki, even though he does his best as their older brother, and both of them can’t stand their father. They are not overly affectionate to the female members of the family either. Because they are so close in age, they have grown up closer together, becoming best friends in the process. They have also developed similar personalities, with slight differences. Hideki couldn’t care less about the world around him and spends all of his time inside, away from people, and disobeys his parents as a hobby. Naoki is smart and social, but runs with a less than savory crowd of people. When the two are together, nothing good can ever occur.

Little Sister:

Kaede Tanaka is Daiki’s eight year old sister. She is nothing like Daiki, preferring to dress dolls instead of design clothing for them, but she loves her big brother the most. She is quite spoiled by him, and knows that to get anything she wants all she has to do is ask and use the power of “puppy dog” eyes. She does not know why he spoils her when no one else in the family does, nor does he spoil anyone else as much as her. She’s also his favorite model for anything he designs and is constant source of strength and motivation for him. She’s not very good in school, but she doesn’t believe that her time is well spent there anyway. Her father is always trying to convince her that she should try to learn, but she doesn’t listen to him. It's strange, but she looks nothing like her father or brothers, and only vaguely resembles her sister and mother. Because of Daiki spoiling her, she has remained in a more childish state than most others her age. However, when Daiki is not around, she will show a different side of herself.

Baby Sister:

Hana Tanaka is a little under two years old and Daiki’s youngest sibling. Her vocabulary has grown in the last year, but is still nowhere near perfect. She prefers to communicate through actions, however. It’s a joke that she’s a thief in the making, as she steals anything she can get her hands on. Her mother has tried to get her out of this phase, but she still continues. She even has preferred hiding spots, which she changes every time one is discovered. Her favorite person in the family is her father, mostly because he makes her feel like a big girl. She is also overly affectionate towards strangers.
