Current Events
Updated: 20/07/2020

**ALERT!** After a rather eventful evening at Maksim's Party, three teenagers seems to have gone missing. The doors of Vault Olympia have been breached due to a to this day unknown assailant, who sabotaged the doors locking systems, allowing demons to make entry. Thanks to the excellent defensive capabilities of the Vault's Security drones, the Attack was put to an end, and the invading monsters fled to the outside. Right now, the Doors of Vault Olympia are currently open, allowing any survivors of the fall to seek shelter within the Vault's safe halls. What Vault Security officials think of this development remains unclear as the Chief of Police and Security of Olympia refused to leave a comment. This is Rianara, of Olympia news, signing out.

The site is entering a new era as our team of mods works tirelessly on updating old and obsolete information threads and links. Over the Summer, we aim to make many changes to the forum, including writing a comprehensive beginners' guide to help new players accommodate to the combat and other rp systems in place here.

Be sure to constantly check the update thread for any changes to the boards. You can find it ->Here<-

Chiyo
thing ▲ thing ▲ thing ▲ thing
Chiyo doubted that this was very good parenting. Sure, her Aunt wasn’t really a parent, but by assuming legal guardianship, surely she had some kind of responsibility to properly raise her niece during her stay in the big city.

Well, apparently not, because Chiyo, underaged and easily angered, was sitting in a goddamn nightclub, some fruity drink that stunk like vodka clenched in her shaking hands. At this point, she was beyond simple anger. She was on a plane of pure rage that no human being had ever reached, a mood so foul that anything could push her into a hissy fit the likes of which the word had never before witnessed. And it was all because of her stupid, irresponsible Aunt, who, for the record, had ditched Chiyo on the upper level the moment she saw one of her bubbly, bimbo friends grinding with some college boy on the dance floor.

Grimacing in disgust as she caught sight of her Aunt almost dry-humping some oversized muscle-freak, Chiyo tipped drink down her throat, coughing madly when the taste of vodka overwhelmed her. Considering how often people drank the stuff in movies, she was stunned at how terrible it actually was, even with the pleasant strawberry syrup trying to mask the taste of the alcohol.

“Ugh,” she groaned, placing the empty glass on the table and pushing it away, before reclining on the lounge, staring up at the ceiling and crossing one leg over the other. As awful as the situation was, she had to admit the band playing wasn’t too bad; a little amateurish, but not as bad as she expected from some unknown club musicians. And, if she was going to think about the positives, at least her Aunt hadn’t made her dress up; obviously, she didn’t wear her school uniform, that would be plain strange, but she was permitted to wear mid-thigh length shorts instead of the atrociously short skirt her Aunt had first suggested, so that was nice.

But everything else? The less said about it, the better.

The overhead fluorescent lights were already giving her a killer headache and the occasional middle-aged man stared at her legs like a starving dog, having Chiyo really consider the consequences of snapping a man's neck and whether or not she could find a lawyer good enough to justify it. Eventually, she came to the conclusion that, no, there wasn't a lawyer around who could justify murder with 'he was creepy'.

Bored out of her wits, Chiyo stood up and wandered to the stairs, fully intended to get herself another... strawberry-vodka-thing. If she was going to have to spend the night watching her Aunt make-out with bodybuilders and getting watched by perverts, then she could at least do it with a very faint buzz.

Dancing is For Losers (Abel) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Dancing is For Losers (Abel)   Dancing is For Losers (Abel) EmptySat Feb 23, 2013 2:51 am

As always, the night was dark in the the Nadashiki district except for a few lone streetlights, many of which were broken.

Softly, the mantle of blackness covered the streets, it's motherly protection giving shelter to those that belonged to the night, gangsters and whores, stray dogs and prophets. All of them populated its womb as they were looked upon by the Night Queen, the full moon.

Bathed only on the silvery light of the mysterious mistress, the only source of it that reached the dark alley, Abel stepped back to contemplate his work as his friends carried on with theirs.

On the wall, there was an elaborate painting representing a dessert, completely lacking any sign of life except for a lone palm tree from which's cup hanged a noose. Just below the tree, there was a pond of crystalline waters that seemed that could be infinitely deep.

Right above the pond, there was the night sky... Yet, it contained no moon nor a star but for a lone one, a five-pointed upside-down white star which's light was reflected in the pond... Last of all, below the painting, a phrase could be read...

"Among the Marble Mountains, you are the Brimstone"

Abel observed his creation with a seemingly calm expression, yet, there was something that made him look worried, even disturbed perhaps?... One of the teen's friends soon perceived this.

"Bro, are you alright?", he said, putting a hand on Abel's shoulder, worried about his friend. Abel sometimes sulked and brooded, but it wasn't usual to see him like this at all...

"Hmm?, Yeah, I'm fine man", Abel said as he gave his friend a blank stare, his expression clearing up. "It's just that I've been having this weird dream lately... It doesn't really matter...", he added as he shook his head.

"Huh, if you are sure...", said his pal, shaking his head. It was no use asking for more. Abel was not one to talk about things if he didn't want, hopelessly, he shrugged and went back to his own painting as the albino boy kept staring at the desert he had created... To be honest, it unnerved him... For some reason he wanted to get away from it, go as far as he could from the graffiti, as if it represented a mortal danger towards him. "I'll be having a walk..." he said as he turned back and started walking away from his friends before they could even answer.

Wandering aimlessly through the shadows like so many other times, the teen was feeling much more relaxed now that he had put some distance between him and the alley. Looking upwards, he visualized the dream now... On it, there was a mysterious man hanging from the noose by his neck and the blood that covered his entire body mixed with the waters of the pond... And for some reason, Abel always cried on the dream, clinging to the legs of the mysterious corpse as torrents of tears flowed down his cheeks... "Tsch... Why is this stupid shit haunting me?!", he exclaimed. As if he didn't have it hard enough, as if he didn't have enough things haunting him down day and night... Hoping to get his mind off of it, he decided to pay that bastard Seshou a visit... At least, he'd be able to get free drinks there...

However, as he passed by a nightclub, something --or rather, someone-- caught his attention, turning his head, Abel noticed someone he knew. A blue-green haired girl with multiple bandages across her body and that had drawn the attention of the albino from the first moment because of her defiant attitude, what had brought him to feel a certain empathy towards her. Watanabe. That was her name if he remembered well... Abel couldn't help but to wonder what was she doing there... The kind of people that went to that place were but disgusting brainless maggots, a company that certainly didn't suit her, as her --even more than usual-- angered expression revealed.

Out os curiosity, he decided to enter the club a few minutes after Watanabe entered herself. For a few seconds, he looked around, trying to spot her, which was easy thanks to her oddly colored hair. She was getting up as she went upstairs, probably to the bar to get a drink. Like a white shadow, Abel moved through the multitude with ease giving chase to the girl, which he soon reached. "You are Watanabe, aren't you?", he loudly said to make sure he was heard, as he stared from a few steps below her with his blood red eyes.

Chiyo
thing ▲ thing ▲ thing ▲ thing
Chiyo refused to turn and acknowldge whoever it was that knew her name. It was either one of the guys her Aunt had been grinding up against, or a fellow student who thought now was their chance to hit on the grumpy second year. Ugh, they were probably hoping that she’d be less likely to reject them when she was liquored up and nearly passed out on the upstairs lounge. Too bad for them, Chiyo would reject them even if she was in an alcohol induced coma.

She gave her full attention to the bartender, snappily ordering the weird strawberry-vodka crap she’d had before and handed over some of the few thousand yen her Aunt had so kindly given her for their nightclub adventure. The drink was readily almost instantly, the bartender actually managing to impress Chiyo with a few spins of a bottle and a friendly wink when he slid the martini glass towards her, giving her a hundred yen more change than necessary. With a short nod of thanks, Chiyo turned, completely forgetting she was supposed to be ignoring someone; that someone just happened to be the person she nearly bumped into when she spun on her heel.

He wasn’t much taller than her, only a couple of inches or so, and Chiyo liked to think that if she had worn the heels her Aunt offered her, instead of her ballet flats, she’d be towering over the white haired weirdo. Too bad that wasn’t the case, meaning Chiyo had to look up at the boy she’d mentally nicknamed ‘Drunky’.

“What?” Her tone was far from friendly, and her body language implied she was ready to beat the shit out of someone, despite how girly her hot pink vodka concoction was. “If you’re looking for someone to grind on, go talk to my Aunt.” Without further ado, she shoved pass the white haired boy, heading back to the staircase to return to her lounge before anyone could ask her to dance. It was bad enough she had to see people hitting on her mother’s younger sister, but the idea of having to join those perverts bumping and shaking on the dancefloor made her sick to her stomach.

Unfortunately, one espeically drunk bastard didn’t pick-up on the very obvious signs of Chiyo’s displeasure as he wandered over to her with more swagger than necessary. “H-hey,” he stuttered, eyes red and swollen from drinking too much, his breath reeking of cheap rum. “You wanna dance, cutie?” Chiyo twitched, her glass trembling as her fist tightened from the nearly uncontrollable urge to punch the middle-aged salaryman for trying to dance with her.

She gave a short, sharp ‘no’, before pushing him out of the way and swaying up the stairs, perching herself back in her initial seat to take another gulp of her drink.

Dancing is For Losers (Abel) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Dancing is For Losers (Abel)   Dancing is For Losers (Abel) EmptyWed Feb 27, 2013 10:13 pm

OOC: I'm terribly sorry for the wait!, I have exams to prepare for >.<"

IC: Without even turning, the green-haired girl continued walking, blatantly ignored him despite her hearing him perfectly. Abel couldn't help but to smirk inside. He had expected nothing less from the girl that had told that sickening weasel of Naito to tell his much beloved Mr. Surikawa to shut the fuck up. That had been sublime.

However, he cared nothing wether or not the girl wanted to pay him any attention at all. He hadn't entered this cradle of filth for nothing. Following her upstairs, he observed her from a short distance as she ordered a drink. Abel thought of getting one himself, but then again who knew what kind of poison they served here?... Not that he would have had any time at all to order it, because in a few moments he found himself almost colliding against a distracted Watanabe.

Though surprised at first, the girl's face soon turned into a snarl as she spatted a recriminating what at him in that aggressive way that left very clear that she wouldn't doubt to use violence against him should he give her the slightest pretext to do so. How bold. Abel had been in street gangs for years now and had participated in many confrontations against both unarmed and armed opponents. In fact, it hadn't been very long ago that he almost had his throat cut open by a knife-wielding punk, being the bandages around his neck testimony to that night when his life had almost been cut short... Abel really doubted the girl had any similar experience despite the many bandages that covered her face and several spots of her body... Still, though normally he would ignore an opponent that stood no chance, he would would do an exception with Watanabe... If only he had come here for a fight. No, Abel was not here to pick a fight against one of his classmates. Thus, Abel chose to remain impassible before the girl, completely unfazed even when she pushed him aside, even if he had started fights for less...

What really got to his nerve though was the insinuation of that he was like everyone else here. He would never be part of this herd of sheep. Each, each of them were disgusting. Going through life without ever realizing that they were alive. All these souls were dead and rotten and even if the most prideful tried to hide it behind cosmetics, they were all a waste of flesh. They came from nothingness and walked straight into oblivion, they were but shadows in the background of life... Truly, these 'people' were as good as dead.
Making an effort, Abel dismissed his anger, turning to follow the girl, she wasn't getting rid of him so easily.

However, before he could confront Watanabe, a middle aged drunk salaryman and the living incarnation of everything Abel hated of this place and its people, approached her and sloppily asked her to dance. The motherfucker had guts.

After the unsurprising refusal, Watanabe went downstairs, however, Abel didn't follow, for he had a premonition.

Just as expected, the old geezer followed her shortly. Abel couldn't help but to smirk. These people were so predictable.

Following the man, Abel arrived just in time to see from a distance how he approached his classmate, yet, this time he wasn't as nice as before. Soon he was all over her. "H-hey!, Who do you think you arre, you little biatch?!, No one says no to me, much less in a fashion like that!", he said as he got closer to the girl, cornering her against her seat. However, doing so he hadn't noticed the albino approach him from the side.

Promptly, Abel grabbed the man's shoulder and pushed him away from Chiyo. Taken off guard, the man stared to the teen, who was much smaller than him. "Wh-what the fuck do you think you are doing you punk?!", he finally shouted at him, "I'm gonna beat your ass!!", he shortly added, attempting to look threatening, though he just managed to look even more pathetic.

"Out of here. Now... Or else...", just replied Abel, as he fixed his eyes on him, all of him projecting an aura of pure aggression... However, the man was not smart enough to see the murder in Abel's eyes. "Or else what you fucking retard?!", he shout with rage as he grabbed a bottle of beer and break it against the counter, soon drawing the attention of many people in the local, though of course there were people wrapped tight enough on their own shit not to notice nor this nor anything else unrelated with themselves.

In a moment, the drunkard was rushing at Abel, wielding the remnants of the bottle. However, the boy remained standing motionless, just staring at him until the last moment, when with a swift step to the side he avoided the incoming bottle aimed at his face. Then, with another swift motion he punched the man on the solar plexus, causing him to drop his improvised weapon, which explode into a thousand pieces against the floor as the man fell to his knees, reaching for the stricken spot with his hands. "Y-you.." He said, however, he was not able to continue. For Abel delivered then a powerful kick at his chin, which knocked him backwards and caused him to land right at Watanabe's feet. He made a feeble attempt to get up, yet, the only thing he accomplished was vomiting, thankfully, not on the girl's feet. For when he was done humiliating himself, Abel was already there, standing over him. "Disgusting", he stated with a tone apparently normal, yet full of a chillingly cold repulsion. "Now, apologize to her if you don't want me to have my way with you. And trust me, you don't. It won't be any pretty."

For a few seconds, the man just stared at his dead red eyes, which lacked any kind of mercy. If the prospect of a further beating wasn't persuasive enough, these malicious eyes were. "S-sorry...", he muttered, only to find Abel's feet stomping on his neck. "Louder.", he said, still looking at him with his could immutable visage that reached the edge of psychopathy as he pressed his foot harder and harder against his throat each second. If he wasn't to apologize properly, he might as well have his throat crushed. At least, that way he'd stop spurting shit from that dirty hole he dared to call mouth.

After a few seconds struggling however, the man screamed an apology in fear "Sorry!!, Please, let me go, I beg you!!"

At that point, Abel raised his foot, opportunity the man used to crawl away from him and then run out as fast as he could, all the way being followed by a pair of crimson eyes.

After a few seconds, Abel turned towards Watanabe. "Don't say thanks. I just saved you the effort of doing something you'd have done yourself otherwise. My name is Abel Mistral by the way, we are on the same class.", he said, apparently unaffected by the events even if a good part of the club was still staring at him in disbelief.
