Gabby watched as Youndeh summoned the ice beneath her and Hippocamp. She let go of his mane and sent him on without her, around the side so Lori was hidden behing her own Persona. The ice would hit her in place of Hippocamp. She couldn’t take feeling the pain of him vanishing again. It hurt a lot though. Even if this was only a match between friends, the damage was real. She didn’t want to hit Yhoundeh again, but Lori looked like she couldn’t take another hit. The creature went forward and this time, really did intend tare the other apart. His maw gapped open as he rammed forward to her. Of course, the distance between them was great, so she could react in time. But it meant Lori would be in the line of attack, since they were next to each other. If he managed to hit Yhoundeh and bite into her, Gabby would call him back and the fight would be over on her part. If Yhoundeh dodged, Lori would be the next thing in line, unless she was moved, in which case Hippocamp would crash into the nearest wall.

Lorielle looked ahead as Hippocamp was charging for another attack, and luckily, she could not only avoid it, she could cancel it out and avoid any damage done to either. She would have Yhoundeh stand in front of them, summoning the blade on her had once more to strike Hippocamp. Since both attacks were on the same level, they would cancel each other out and no one would be hurt. Lorielle would finally pull back her Persona, and it would disappear into her consciousness, and she slowly started to shuffle a bit towards gabby as she called her own Persona back, The battle was now over, and a good thing too. Lorielle could hardly take any more. “Damn…..good fight…” she said, breathing heavily when she finally reached her. She would kneel down, dropping her naginata. She was weak, and she could seriously use a rest. She would still look up at Gabby, still breathing heavily, and give her a grin and keeping her happy look despite her weak appearance.

“No more.” Gabby would shout at Lori, “I don’t think either of us can handle it. Neither can our Persona.” She would fall to her knees as she spoke. She was in better shape than Lori, at least, but neither of them was holding up well. She started laughing, “Remind me never to be on the opposite side as you.” She stood up, and went over to Lori after calling Hippocamp back, “Let’s go to my place. We can rest there, for now.” She held her hand out to her friend to help her up, “Unless you want to try walking home, that is.” Even if Lori said she wanted to, Gabby wouldn’t let her. They were both going to her place, whither she liked it or not. She would bring them home, make a meal, draw them each a bath, and they would wait until they didn’t have to walk around with a limp anymore, “Let’s do something more fun next time, okay?” She would then start bringing them both home, forcibly if she had to.
