**ALERT!** After a rather eventful evening at Maksim's Party, three teenagers seems to have gone missing. The doors of Vault Olympia have been breached due to a to this day unknown assailant, who sabotaged the doors locking systems, allowing demons to make entry. Thanks to the excellent defensive capabilities of the Vault's Security drones, the Attack was put to an end, and the invading monsters fled to the outside. Right now, the Doors of Vault Olympia are currently open, allowing any survivors of the fall to seek shelter within the Vault's safe halls. What Vault Security officials think of this development remains unclear as the Chief of Police and Security of Olympia refused to leave a comment. This is Rianara, of Olympia news, signing out.

The site is entering a new era as our team of mods works tirelessly on updating old and obsolete information threads and links. Over the Summer, we aim to make many changes to the forum, including writing a comprehensive beginners' guide to help new players accommodate to the combat and other rp systems in place here.

How not to Shop (Beverly) Empty
PostSubject: How not to Shop (Beverly)    How not to Shop (Beverly) EmptySat May 29, 2021 6:53 pm

This was needless to say a not so pleasant time for the strange being that was Snow. After resting in the darkness of the Bellows, he had packed his box up and took to wandering again though this time to a very specific place: The Triumph Arc located within the sands and heat of Dryrange Vistas.

He had learned long ago not to take this place lightly, one slip up nearly costing his life the first time he stumbled across the smoldering mass of sands and ruins of a place that time had buried. He did his usual preparations packing extra just in case something happened before heading out with umbrella in hand, he made his way to the Triumph Arc....only to have to hide out when a rather nasty sand worm like creature decided to chase him about the place. The worm had chased him into the city and after getting cornered he had no choice, but to use some of his supplies to kill the thing. The event was a pain in the neck to say the least, even more so with the heat and sun eating at him like he was some all you can eat buffet. Once the worm was dealt with, he left the corpse where it was and quickly headed into one of the many shops left standing in the area; however, he had to move through each quite a few to find the one that let the least amount of sun in and even when found he had to go through the extra effort of using cloth and clothing to make a make shift curtain to block the light out and then after that pretty much use a pile of more of said clothing to to make a tent for himself to hide out under until he was cool.

About time he was done with the work, the store he had chosen  looked like some derranged spider took over. The oddly made costumes and pieces of cloth strung together clearly made to reveal much of the female body; however, he did not pay any mind to this as he stay hidden under the make shift tent of said clothes that kept him and his box hidden and thankful away from the light. His breathing was ragged, but he kept it low to not attract trouble as he stayed close to the ground which was cooler to him and just tried to recover and rest for the moment before attempting another round with the desert.

Outside of the store, a flock of the skull headed crows started to gather and feast on the dead sand worm, while a pair that was different from the group, decided to take perch within the store being careful of where they landed and rested so as not to pull down the web like curtain of cloth as they watched the area with hollow eyes.

How not to Shop (Beverly) Empty
PostSubject: Re: How not to Shop (Beverly)    How not to Shop (Beverly) EmptySun May 30, 2021 11:59 pm

Beverly made her way though the sands and heats not to bothered by it because of her usual dress. Though she was on the hunt for some a bit more covering so at the very least she wouldn't be getting a sunburn. Which happens to have been the reason she ventured this way. She heard that there was some shops that haven't been looted yet because of the creatures and well heat.

Making her way to the place she had been told the shops where she pasted a dead sand worm she thought to take a few shots at the demon birds munching on it but decided not to since she didn't feel like a fight just yet. Looking though the shops she eventually found the one that looked like it would have what she wanted.

Entering the shop she sighed a bit seen the clothing thrown about (not noticing the birds inside because bad eye sight and it being dark). it looked like someone beat her to the shop and took all of the acutal clothing leaving only the reveling stuff as usual. Shaking her head she started to pick through the clothes hoping to find something she could use...or at least something cute she wouldn't mind wearing...She did want to try on one of those maid outfits she had seen is a few books when she was in her vault after all.

The birds outside eating the worm would continue, only one or two looking up with bloodied or flesh caked beaks to watch the girl making sure she did nothing to disturb them. When she passed by without disturbing them, they went back to their meal.

Inside the shop, the two birds that stood on watch would tilt their heads at the girl who entered, but otherwise remained quiet and still not giving away their position for now.

As for the man that was hidden and trying to recover, he did hear someone coming in, his ears picking up on the sounds of a sigh and the sounds of someone digging around his web. At first he thought to not do anything at all, but he didn't want whoever this was to destroy his hard work either, so with a soft grunt and a shift, he'd move from his spot to peek out at the one in his current domain.

To anyone looking, the mass of clothing in the back might've looked like some sort of monster since the scantly made clothing were positioned in such a way that all that could be seen of the man were the glowing blue eyes that searched for the one in his darkened domain.

As she was digging through the clothes they started to shift Beverly moved back as she saw a figure rise the pile. Her mind moved quickly trying to figure out what it was but because of her vision all that it looked like to her was a black mass with blue eyes.

Shaking off her initial shock Beverly moves forward planted her feet and then in one swift movement swung her fist at the center mass of what she assume was a demon. After all she wasn't going to let this thing get the better of her and besides enclosed spaces aren't the best for gun.

He supposed his unorthodox way of approaching things or being curious once again got him into trouble; however, unfortunately for the one who took a swing at him, the odd man was in a not so friendly mood. He was hot, miserable, and grumpy. To make matters worse, she was picking at his domain for whatever reason. While on a normal day he wouldn't have cared, today he cared a little too much since said clothing was his safe haven for the moment.

He didn't care how this one was dressed or take into consideration that his move was the trigger of an attack. All he knew was as soon as he was able to get his hazy mind to focus and register the other, she had made a move to attack him. While he really didn't wish to move or anything of that nature, he really didn't have a choice here. So instead of trying to dodge he moved straight into the punch using the clothing that surrounded him as a makeshift armor to soften the blow before he reached out a hand in an attempt to grab the offending hand with an unusually cold and surprisingly strong grip so he could pull the girl towards him and potentially entangle her in the cloth around him if successful....

As Beverly struck out with her first she was surprised as the creature moved in to her punch that wasn't usual demon behavior. She the creature grabbed hold her her arm after it softened the blow Beverly slipped a bit her feet getting caught on some of the clothes on the ground well got tangled up in some of the more stringy clothes the creature had around it. Struggling against the clothes and the creature's grip Beverly grumbled out "Just let me kill you, you stupid demon." as she tried to strike out again.

The move was successful, the cold hand that grasped her first hand around the wrist area tightening into a firm grasp that wasn't letting go no matter how much she resisted. Anytime the grip seemed like it was going to break, the hand would shift to make sure she would not escape. When she slipped and got tangled, the one underneath didn't do anything to assist her in getting loose even though they would not let her fall. It was a good thing in the end not assisting her considering she decided to strike out again. Since they were close proximity, the one underneath, only moved in a way to grasp her other wrist with his other hand moving in closer as he tried to use the girl's struggling to his advantage. Moving the cloth around her feet outward to only ensnare her further.

If successful, the girl would find herself getting more and more into a tangled web of clothing if she continued to struggle. It did pull some of the less secured clothing off the one hiding under it, but it was still not enough to reveal who or what it was or even cause the grip on her to loosen; however, there was a response to her words.

"You're assumptions are quite amusing; however, I am afraid none are correct, little lady," he would say, his voice while soft, held a hint of annoyance in it. Despite that though, it could be noted whoever this was wasn't trying to fight her in the end. No, he honestly just wanted rest. Not spend energy on this, but alas what was he to do?

Beverly continued to struggled despite the creature moving the clothes more around her tangling her even more. Hearing the creature response to her words did cause her to stop for a moment as she considered what to do but unfortunately she was still a bit ticked off at the creature especially when it called her Little lady. So she relaxed her muscles a bit as the creature got closer to her and waited. Once it was close enough she would move her hips up against it and bind down attempting to throw the creature over her shoulder.

How not to Shop (Beverly) Empty
PostSubject: Re: How not to Shop (Beverly)    How not to Shop (Beverly) EmptyThu Jun 10, 2021 4:20 pm

Much sad. So very much.

The girl refused to stop struggling causing herself to get more and more tangled in the clothing he moved about to try to stop her from fighting. It caused some more of the clothing to slip off him, causing more irritation considering even if the area was dark due to his "curtains", he was still in a way being pulled out of his comfortable zone. He did take note that she did pause when he spoke, but for whatever reason she decided to keep fighting. Well for a little bit at least. She did seem to stop and relax a bit causing him in turn to relax his grip slightly on her wrists. He did move a bit closer so he could detangle them; however, before he could do that or even voice what he was about to do the girl decided to make another move. She would come in close to him her hip meeting his body before the very snare he was using was becoming a problem to him as he found himself being lifted and tossed over the girl's shoulder.

His grip on the girl would break as her move did indeed work in sending him to the floor with a thud and moody groan; however, it did not stun him. Instead, he would try to take advantage of the close proximity they should still be in and the fact they were both pretty much tangled in the clothing around him well by now. He would twist in his position before moving like a snake to swing out one of the stringer items on him with some reach (A bikini top, but he wasn't paying that any mind in this battle) like a whip towards the other's leg. He'd attempt to get that tangled around said limb before pulling back the arm and also his body, trying to use the pull, his weight, and the tangled mess they were to pull the girl off balance and to the ground.

Once Beverly heard the groan of the creature hit the ground she smiled proudly to herself at a job well done. Which was quickly undone once she felt something wrap around her leg and then her the ground leaving her feet as she fell. She landed on her rump with an audible grunt of pain "OOOOOWWW!! Why the hell would you do that for you stupid demon!" she yells as she tried to kick out at the creature form her slightly prone position.

Well the good thing was that he managed to down her. The bad thing was she was still fighting like a mad person and calling him a demon. If wasn't for this woman's high will to fight or his increasing moodiness at having to work so hard when he was already miserable and just in no mood for this nonsense at all, he might've felt slightly bad for hurting her; however, there would be no sympathy today. While they were still tangled he would just try to use more clothing to tangle her legs while trying to avoid those kicks; however a few landed here and there causing him to grunt a bit with suppressed pain. "I am not a... fucking demon woman! So would you....oof," Yep that kick got him a little in the face and probably got him a bloody lip, but it didn't stop him from his mission to try and bind her to stop her from being so out of control. "..kindly stop fighting me?" He would grumble that last bit, his jaw and lip hurting a bit, but eh this wasn't the worse thing occurring right now.

Beverly heard the words from the creature as she struggled against the clothes.  She kicked out one last time before speaking. "My name isn't women and if your not a demon why didn't you say so earlier when I first walked into her." she said stopping her kicks and struggled trying to get the clothes off of her. "If you're not a demon then help me get these clothes off of me...also did you even realize what kind of clothing you have covering you?" Beverly said looking a bit annoyed at being wrapped up in the clothing.

Well there was another kick, but thankful the woman seemed to calm down as she spoke. "I did.... when you so kindly asked me... to let you kill me earlier," he would say between pants. Though for the moment he did nothing to help the other get out of her entanglement. He was much to irritated and untrusting of this one to do that right away. "Also if you don't want me calling you woman or what not, then give me your name," he would say and then hearing her request, he'd give an irritated "hmph". "I rather have insurance you aren't going to kick me or what not if I do decide to help you out. Though the fact we are even having this conversation should tell you I am not a demon. I would've attacked or something far worse than this by now if I were. As for the type of clothing covering me, I don't care if it is undergarments, women's or men's wear, or what have you. All that matters is that they provide me cover." It may not have made sense to bury one's self in clothing when it was already hot as hell, but for this creature being buried and away from sunlight and heat helped his already cold body cool off more. It was strange. Though considering he was a tangled mess and even more hot and tired from the struggle, the cover that wasn't exactly all the way on him anymore and wasn't helping with the cooldown process. However, while it added onto his irritability, it was really minor in comparison to the current issue with the woman.

Beverly let out an annoyed sound before speaking "My name is Beverly and sorry I won't try to kill you again...unless you end up doing something that I don't like." she said still struggling against the entanglement. "And to be fair there are plenty of intelligent demons out there who try to trick you into things instead of just attacking. Also having something rise out of a pile of clothes in the dark and just stare at you is something most people would either attack on sight or run form especially when they can't see to well. It would also be better to get some bed sheets or something for cover then well this type of stuff. " she says holding up a very skimpy looking undergarment "Cause well people could get an even worst idea of you then being a demon if they see you covered in it...especially if you start trying to tie up a girl with them." she said tossing it to the side "Sooo you going to help me now or do I have to get out myself?" she asked giving the creature an expecting look.

It seemed being annoyed with each other and the situation was going to be a thing. Not that he cared at the moment. All he really cared about is that the woman had settled down and had stopped attacking and while he was leery to assist due what happened earlier, he would hear her out as he stayed more or less calm amidst the tangle the girl struggled against.

"....Beverly. How nice to meet you. My name is Snow," he'd begin letting the words out on a tired huff before he shifted to move again. "Your point is valid for the demons and my entrance, but to be fair, would you not want to see who has come in to poke around your territory too? Also while it is dark I had no clue you could not see well." Perhaps she needed glasses or something. "As for bed sheets or what not, unfortunately this place isn't a camp or residential district and taking the time to find one decent sheet under all this sand would be more work than using what was easier to grab and cobble together." He would see the item she had picked up, his blue eyes glancing at the undergarment unphased, his expression calm and neutral. "I suppose I don't really think in terms of things ruining my reputation, but rather in terms of what is useful around me at the time. I cannot stop people from assuming things and if this," he would pick up bra like piece with various strings on it. He didn't know the correct term for it, but that was beside the point. "Is the only defense I have against something or someone thrashing at me, then so be it. I rather survive then be picky about the things at my disposal and in turn increase my chances of dying. Also, if you hadn't came at me like a mad person I wouldn't have even taken the effort to get us like this," he would say as he tossed the item aside and then hearing the request again, he'd huff.

"Yeah, yeah. I will help you calm down and stop being so demanding." His tones held slight annoyance thanks to everything that had happened on top of the heat. He wasn't going to move very quickly, but at least he moved a bit closer to her and began to help make detangling them easier....
