Attention, attention. Please evacuate Cargo Hold 7F immediately. Hazardous contamination detected. Please evacuate Cargo Hold 7F immediately. Hazardous contamination detected.

Cargo Hold 7F was, by all accounts, a completely unremarkable room. It was located on the outskirts of the ship, and never housed an important delivery during its existence. Rather, it was used for low-priority cargo purchased opportunistically, on the off chance it could be sold for profit later. Not many people even knew Cargo Hold 7F existed, and Captain was probably the only one who remembered it contents in full.

That's why, when an automated message from the ship's broadcasting system mentioned Cargo Hold 7F, a lot of people's immediate reaction was mild confusion. However, on a ship as eccentric as S.S. Philemon, it wouldn't take long before someone decided to check it out...

Soon after Wilhemina heard the announcement she was en route to the cargo hold, boots clanking on the ground as she made her way through the winding corridors. If something dangerous to the ship was there, she knew, it could potentially wreak havoc if left unchecked. There was no such thing as an uneventful day on the Philemon, she thought to herself.

The destination itself was in a rather secluded sector of the ship (though not ill-maintained or dilapidated due to the diligent cleaning of the waddle-dees). As she approached the steel blast door Mina didn't see anything off about the area; Perhaps the system had malfunctioned? Regardless, she took a deep breath and prepared her weapon, raising the firearm and speaking aloud, shaky voice echoing slightly through the empty hall. "I-is anyone in there...?"

The moment the alarm went off a group of Waddle-dee's where already on the way to the storage room, a mixed group of types and sizes as they headed there to deal with the issue that set off the alarm, the little swarm of Waddle-dee had gear with them and as they got to the door they seen Mina by the door, one of the Waddle-dee's gently scooted to the door and tried to open it it shook it's head.

Soon after there was a second swarm of Waddle-dee's on the way with tools and gear for opening the door as well as one Waddle-dee with a Few Tiny-dee's riding on the top of it, all of which had smaller gear for use once they got in the storage room , and another Waddle-dee with a notepad and paper so they could communicate to Mina.

Soon the group of Waddle-dee's were working on the door as a few stacked up and opened the window to let the little group of Tiny-dee's in environmentally sealed hazmat suits into the room and who started to look around.

"Aaah!"

The moment after Mina knocked, she heard a high-pitched scream, followed by a clang of metal and a sound of something falling.

When the Waddle-Dees looked inside, they saw the room was now encased in a layer of black chitin, a small pool of bright blue liquid forming in a corner. In the center, sprawled on her back over a small metal container, was a bug-like green creature, with two antennae extending from her head and something like a hood hanging from her neck.

Noticing someone open the window, the bug girl raised her hands to her face, as if trying to shield herself from the world. "No! Please, don't come in!", she screamed, alarm in her voice. On her right arm, now visible to everyone, a Persona Module gleamed, as if processing some kind of data.

Mina was very startled by the sudden noise and racket from inside the storage module, nearly falling backwards and letting out a shriek herself, instead taking a shuddering breath and retaining a (relative) measure of composure.

Knowing full well that the waddle-dees knew nearly every crewmember, she knelt down next to the one with the notepad. "Do you know this person?" She whispered quietly.

Slowly approaching the heavy metal doors, Mina gulped audibly, trembling finger clutching her weapon as she peered in and viewed the scene inside; Viscous liquid and and strange substance coated the room, and in the center of it all stood an alien she didn't know. Swallowing her fear, Wilhemina tentatively greeted the unknown person. "A-are you o-okay?"

The Waddle-dee she asked if they knew who she was shook its head and wrote on the pad "No" it then looked to Mina as she looked into the window, and the little Waddle-dee waited as the others were already working on the doors mechanism, not to open the door but just to at least repair it, the person inside asked them not to enter after all.

The Tiny-Dee's that were on the windowsill looked down at the insect alien that was was there but they didn't enter the room any further then were they were their full hazmat suits making them look like little ping pong balls with arms and legs, they were patiently waiting for the woman to calm down not going to be rushing her at all.

That was when Mina looked in through the window and the Tiny-dee's noticed her, and they scooted to the sides of the window to give her a better view and because they were a little shy at being seen.

The girl pushed herself up, standing from the floor. Her eyes flickered to the window. She looked like she wished to close it, but at the moment it was impossible, with Mina's head and Tiny-Dees' bodies blocking the way. So she settled on pulling up her hood instead, forcing her antennae to droop down.

She stood like that for a few seconds without saying a word, only her sides moving a little as she breathed (well, at least Mina figured that's what it was - it didn't really look like human breathing). Finally, she seemed to get a good enough grip on herself to answer. "I'm..." she paused, searching for the right word. "I'm unharmed. Do you know what happened? Where am I?"

"W-well...you're on the Philemon," Mina answered, relieved that the alien wasn't a threat and releasing a breathy sigh. "A-a trading vessel."

"I-I heard that some o-other people appeared here suddenly..." She added quickly. "When did you arrive?" Mina asked, slinging her rifle over her shoulder.

The Waddle-dee's listened to the stuttering conversation but on hearing that the Alien didn't know where she was so already the information was sent up to the captain, for now they were going to try to get the girl out of the room and talking a bit more comfortably as the storage room couldn't be all that comfy.

With that in mind they started to work on the door mechanism once more while the Tiny-dee's waved to the insect Alien and one held up a sticky pad with a note on it "Hello what is your name?" the Tiny Waddle-dee's were feeling a little more brave because of the hazmat suits but they were still shaking nervously a bit from the fact that both the Alien girl and Mina could see them.

"I'm... not sure," the girl admitted in response to Mina's inquiry, sitting down on the metal container. "It's hard to tell time here. But it was at least one resting cycle ago."

After a slight pause, she continued. "You said it's a trading vessel, but you don't look like any bug I've seen before. I'm... I'm not even on Greenleaf anymore, am I?"

As if to confirm this to herself, she looked up at Mina again and finally noticed the sticky pad. "Oh, um - you can call me Amelia. Nice to meet you."

Resting cycle? Mina thought to herself, unfamiliar with this unit of time measurement. She supposed it was a given that people would measure time in different increments all across the post-world.

"W-well...we aren't bugs. Well...it's entirely possible that more of your kind are on the ship..." She muttered in response to Amelia's musings. The motley crew of the Philemon was made up of all sorts - Amelia certainly wouldn't be out of place.

"A-and uh...my name is Wilhemina Krause - Just call me Mina."

"Very well," Amelia nodded. She was still somewhat confused about where exactly she was, but if she was away from home, safe and healed... that probably meant her prayer was answered. She had to learn more.

"Uh... Mina, f you don't mind me asking, what brough you here?" she asked tentatively. "I've been alone here for a while... Did something happen?"

Hearing the Amelia introduce herself the Tiny-dee's nodded and wrote on the next pad "Pleased to meet you we are Waddle-dee, welcome to the ship we call home, do you need anything? Are you trapped in this room? If you are we can fix the Door if you allow us to come in, we are nice Tiny-Dee's honest" the note said.

Meanwhile outside the other Waddle-dee's where still working on the door Mechanism trying to figure out exactly what was causing it to stay shut, while others rushed off to get food and water for their new resident in case she hadn't had any in a while, others still ran off to get medical supplies while a few more went to register and prepare a room for the girl so she could have a place to stay once they got her out.

"Me?" Mina asked in response to Amelia's inquiry. "W-well...whatever you've done to this r-room here tripped the ship's contamination d-detection." She explained, shuddering slightly at the prospect that Amelia had done that to the inside on the room.

The human girl watched as the waddle-dees raced off to find lodging for the stranger. "A-at the moment we can't travel long distances. It seems you're stuck here, for the m-most part," Mina explained. "T-the waddle-dees are preparing a place to stay for you now so...do you mind unlocking the door?"

Those last words seemed to cause a strong reaction, as Amelia's eyes widened and she started waving her hands in a denying gesture, trying to give an answer to both Dees and Mina.
"Nonononono! There's no need to open the door! I'm fine here! I don't need anything, honest! Just... please, don't come in!"
