The Quest For Good Tea

Tykal regained his composure even more so hearing the tea whistle. He was glad Tequila also enjoyed a rather soft tea. If he wanted a sweet drink why not get a cola or juice. No no, tea was perfect with just a slight taste of sugar. From the aroma to the taste of the leaves there wasn't a single thing about tea that wasn't to love. Tykal had once researched on how to harvest tea leaves but ultimately found the task too challenging for his current living conditions. He'd wait until Tequila served him a cup taking a long sniff bringing the cup up towards his nose and smiling sweetly in anticipation. "Thank You" he'd say before taking a sip. The refreshing warmth slid down his throat washing away the salt from the peanuts and cleansing his pallet with an earthy tangy taste. He seemed to relax and just enjoy it in all of its entirety. Almost like a child who was eating their favorite treat.

He didn't forget what Tequila had asked him but the tea distracted him quite obviously. He turned his gaze on Tequila and answered his question. "Well, I just met you so I can't say much. You're pleasant so far and you seem very focused on your customers and their desires. Which I suppose is important in your line of work. Though really, you don't have to go through any trouble to get any special teas for me. This is fine. It's delicious by the way." Tykal spoke with a smile. Perhaps coming in this bar was the right idea. He had so much on his mind earlier. Right now it was hard to dwell on the overwhelming uncertainty and the strange hallucinations he kept having. It was as if he was able to just enjoy the moment and get the respite he desperately needed.

Tykal naturally returned to the reality of his situation shortly after the glow of pleasant company and fresh tea faded. He looked down into his tea. The almost yellow mixture rippled with his slight movement. His expression shifted as he finished his tea. "Tequila, if I remember correctly. Just about everyone on board has a persona. So that means you have one correct?" Tykal brought his hand to his head, "I don't know much about plugs or personas but is it normal to 'talk' to your persona? I was under the impression that they were facets of ourselves that we called upon using these plugs to harness their power. So conversing with it, is akin to talking to myself... right?"

as the Waddle-dee Was released it looked up at Tequila, as if expecting him to pick it back up the moment it tried to move, but as they started to talk to Tykal once more the Waddle-dee started to slowly shuffle to the side still keeping an eye on Tequila before finally lifting up it's little foot twitching it for a second then making a break for it at full sprint into the storage room, returning soon with a cleaning rag in hand and climbing back on top of the counter to finish the cleaning of the bar top, happily whipping it down and then hopping back off and climbing up the shelves behind Tequila dusting each shelf and bottle, being very careful to not knock anything over as it worked quite contently.

The one in Tequila's grasp continued to happily sit there, apparently quite happy to be held as it stayed calm and simply smiled gently rocking side to side as it let itself be held.

The Two Waddle-dee's with Lokita where happily sitting with the wolf and petting it, the cleaning remaining apparently only being the back shelf and the rug and so they were simply spending time with the floofy wolf.

The Mega-Dee in the room meanwhile continued it's task happily, looking very pleased as it was drawing closer to finishing cleaning the rug, bouncing gently on it's heels as it worked, and it's eyes closed in a Waddle-dee smile as it seemed to continue to seemingly bounce to a little beat only it could hear, though....the gentle rocking of the Waddle-dee in Tequila's arms seemed to match the little bounces the Mega-Dee were doing so maybe it was just a beat only the Waddle-dee's could hear?
