Melee Training(Hono)

Another day, more training. A knight may never rest, the training grounds were mostly empty at that time. Classes had ended but Albrecht wanted to make use of the school grounds for a bit longer, get some training done before heading home. The church had its own gym where people could train... but after what happened he wasn't sure if he wanted to walk in there and see it all empty, ever reminding him of the slaughter. Besides, it was a basement, the school gyms get more ventilation so he won't overheat.

So there he stood alone, a training sword in hand. He rehearsed moves he knew. Shadow fighting an imaginary enemy. Not as good as having an actual partner but its what he had. Lisa was the only other dedicated sword fighter he knew that could come close to match him. Shiina could give him a run for his money but her powers made her speed unmatched, her sword training however wasn't quite there yet for just technique practice. He had been at it for a while, he didn't really count the time but drops of sweat were forming on his forehead.

Now that Hono was a cadet, she needed to stay in shape. Which probably wouldn't be that hard. It was as if she never gained weight. She decided to actually use the school gym for once. She would do a bit of running and work on her core. As well as a bit of swordplay. As she went into the gym she spotted a familiar cadet. Albrecht to be exact since she was a cadet she decided to intrude.

Hono approached a training rapier on her side. "Oh. Hey Albrecht." She said putting her hands on her hips with a soft smile. "Mind if I join you?" she asks the cadet raising an eyebrow. She hoped he would know she was a cadet. It would be awkward if he didn't know. None the less she drew her sword and awaited an answer.

"Hm?" The knight stopped his sword mid swing, taking a look at Hono. Right, she was a cadet by now. He'd lower his sword before turning his body to face her with a raised eye brow. "Hello, Hono." He greeted her with a nod. She wanted to practice with him. Bold, but he was not one to turn down training with a fellow cadet. He just wondered if she had what it took to keep up.

"...you want to duel or just train together?" Albrecht took a couple steps back, the training sword pressed its tip against the ground, his hand rested over he handle. "I'll warn you, i don't hold back if it is a duel. Nor do i have patience for slackers."

Hono used her skirt to wipe a bit of dirt off her rapier. The blade was shiny and sharp. "Just training, I'm not sure I can beat you" Hono laughed a little, trying to keep the mood up. "So how do we start this off?" She asks curiously. She slipped her sword back into the scabbard on her hip. She eyed Albrecht, a duel wouldn't be good. She would certainly lose.

Hono cracked her knuckles. "Slackers? Me! What do you take me for!" She said dramatically. "Let's get started!" She said walking a bit closer towards him. She was eager to train with him, curious about what training he would recommend.

"You can't." Cadet or not in a sword fight he doubted she could match him, few cadets could or had the same expertise in melee combat. Of course if you bring persona powers to the table that changes. "I didn't meant to imply you were. Just that i don't hold back." He replies, really no way he couldn't know if she was or wasn't.

"Our weapons are different but i can pass down a thing or two for you." Albrecht rubs his chin. "Don't take this the wrong way. But how much experience do you have using that?" Albrecht points at her rapier.
