Sultana frowns, feeling bad. Even if demons weren't counted under laws, it was understandable to be so shaken after seeing your friends killed. Probably. Kendra hadn't ever had friends killed in front of her. Intimidating it felt too cruel in her mind, and it might cause it to lash out in fear. And there was no way she'd ever be able to distract it from what had happened. It had watched two other demons die! So Sultana tried the only thing she could think of, which happened to be comforting it.
"I know why you'd think that. We hurt your friends. But we didn't want to. I promise. We aren't going to hurt you, and we're definitely not gonna eat you. I'm still sorry we had to do that to those other ones, but we're going to make sure you live. You don't need to worry about us doing anything against you. I know it must seem unfair and rough, but we're not that violent. Things are shaky now, but we're going to make sure it all works out from here on out, okay?"

So far so good. The shaking was still there, sure, but it hadn't chosen to attack yet. That was a sign Sultana was doing something right. Distracting wouldn't be the right option, really, and Kendra didn't know enough about demons to know how they were made. Did they have moms? Did they just appear? The questions made Sultana a little bit unsettled and curious. For now, she'd continue to comfort it.
"Sometimes people just need some niceness, and if you guys can be afraid then... Well, I'm sure you can feel the same need for socialization and acceptance at least. And nobody in this group eats demons, so there was no way we'd ever consider eating you." Sultana pauses, thinking about the demon's question. "I know being alone can be scary, but sometimes being alone gives you time to think. It seemed like those guys, even if they were your friends, were talking over you. It might help being alone just for a little bit to think. And if you still don't want to be alone, I'm sure we can figure something out. Don't worry, I promise we'll find a way to help you, alright?"

"That doesn't solve anything! you're just tryin' to trick me so I'll do what you want and then you'll eat me or something! Nobody is that nice! Don't say mean things about my friends after you KILLED Them. I don't want to talk to you anymore..."

Zappa looked at the demon and put her weapon away for the time being, holding her arms away from her body so he could she she was unarmed she looked to the Demon "I did not wish to fight at the beginning if you recall, I even asked my allies to not harm you..." Her single glowing eye looked to Yuri as she aded "though one failed to listen...and I will speak to him about it.." she looked back to the demon again "You did not seem to want to fight ether, and I had hoped we could end this without bloodshed...I am sorry for the loss of your friends, I think we all made mistakes here...let us do our best to correct that...Will you hear me out?"
