Zane stands at 6” flat (182cm), with the weight of 194 lbs (88kg). He sports a pale skin, chocolate brown eyes and a generally more or less lean build. The young man is known for his slightly roguish style, wearing his wild dark brown hair freely ruffled with a moderately wide streak of blonde highlights through the middle of it. He also tends to keep a slight stubble scruff on his chin, and is typically seen wearing multiple small earrings on both of his ears.

When it comes to the clothing style, he’s not the most picky person in the world, though he certainly prefers to wear more tight-fit clothes, so he is unlikely to be seen parading around in baggy pants or the like. While he does have a bit of a penchant for darker colored outfits as they work better with the rest of his visage, he may put on a more colorful attire if an occasion calls for it. Most of the time, he simply gives off a somewhat rugged, punkish young man vibe though.

Shadow:
In his True Form, Zane takes on the form of a bipedal fox. His stature becomes a lot shorter than normal, making him stand at about 3’11” (120cm), with the weight of 83 lbs (38kg). His coloring is that of an average red fox, alongside having yellow eyes. In this form, he seems to be wearing a pair of short combat-suited pants, a double belt and a couple straps/bands all over his body that keep his fur from fluffing out too much. On top of that, he has a pair of goggles strapped on his head, though he rarely brings them down to cover his eyes. He also manifests a few bright blue line marks across his face and upper arms, and his paws are more akin to a human hand, allowing him to grasp and use objects just like a normal person would.

Personality:
Displaying a somewhat roguish nature, Zane is a generally outgoing type of guy who likes to stick his nose into things as a means of entertaining himself. While he does his best to not be an overly impolite or rude person, he can come off as more curious and probing than necessary at times. Life’s boring when you do nothing all the time, as he would say. It’s short enough as it is, so you gotta take the chance to explore and get as much out of it as you can. He does kind of resent the fact that Endymion is the kind of city it is though, as it seems to limit the freedom of choice in certain ways, but he’s already got some sort of a business going there and he refuses to move again and start all over again. So he trudges on, trying to find his own way of enjoying life in the city, as chaotic as it gets at times.

Despite his attitude though, the guy is decently friendly, and is willing to work with others when the opportunity arises. ‘S not like avoiding people would make his bloody hell of a life any worse, really.

The Background

History:
Born in Britain, Zane grew up a mostly peaceful life with his parents on the outskirts of London, visiting school and hanging out with friends like a normal kid while his parents worked, his mom being an accountant and his dad running a hairdresser business. Days, months and years passed by in a more or less casual manner until around the time when Zane turned 10. The family received word that Zane’s grandfather from his dad’s side who was living in Endymion City at that time had died and had left his son his property in the will. And thus, after some time of debate, they had decided to make use of the opportunity and move into the place instead of having to sell it along with all the memories of their deceased family member.

From then on, Zane has spent the next 5 years of his life adapting to the life in the new location, as well as picking up on his dad’s profession so he could eventually take over the shop that they’ve set up in Endymion. Life was pretty good outside of the fact that the young man had a bit of trouble once he started to show more individuality in the way he presented himself, which wasn’t made any easier by his own family, as they kind of made sure to point out to people about how rowdy their kid was and all. However, all things come to an end one day, and they sure did around the time Zane was 15 years old. The Eternal Divide happened, bringing a lot of pain and chaos all around. It was not a good time for the young man, as he had sadly not seen his parents since the incident. Had they become victims of the tragedy, or did they simply manage to escape somewhere else? He had no idea, but it wasn’t something he could just get an answer to either way.

As hard as it was, he managed to pick himself up, using the resources he had left, and now 5 years after the Divide, he runs his own hairdresser shop in the Backlight district, trying to do his best despite the reputation his own parents have accidentally set up for him around the customers before. At least, there were always new faces coming in too, heh. Though he still wondered about what exactly happened on that day 5 years ago. Was this city cursed somehow…?
