Updated: 8/18/2017

Heya! I'm your friendly neighborhood Larsinny, a demon here to keep you updated on the current debacles going on within the site! Okay, maybe not debacles... Anyway! The Endymion Plot, our Third Main Plot, is underway! We also have our sideplot taking place called Junction! If you're a new member looking to join the new plot, you will want to choose Endymion. However, if you're interested in our sideplot, you may also join that one aswell. The choice is ultimately up to you! The Dungeon Master of the Junction plot is CWIS and the DM of the current Endymion plot is Godai and Grantus.

All templates on the site have been updated, and this also includes the rules aswell. When referring to the rules, please disregard any that say "Old" or "Obsolete" as we are no longer using those rules for the Endymion Plot. Oh, don't be mistaken! I love breaking the rules! But in this case, follow them or erasure!

As the north team approached the tall iron walls of the unknown city, all was quite save for the distant, faint sounds of the industrial complex churning through it's eternal work. The group was comprised of Gnar, Damsel, five members of the JPD in full swat gear, each of a varying species, and of course the Seekers who joined recently from the main group. As the group stood at the tree line, which in and of itself was withered and decayed, having not seen light or good rain in many generations due to the permanent overcast cloud of smog, it slowly dawned on them that they may very well be alone in this section of the city.

"How the devil are we going to get over that wall undetected... The mere fact that we have yet gone unmolested is a feat in and of itself. Any ideas?"

A cursory glace around the area reviles a small yellowish stream flowing from some hidden part of the wall and into the woods, and what looks like an indentation about the size of a small house some ways down the wall. The area is yours to explore, what do you do Seekers?

"O-okay." Lilly would reply with a nervous smile toward Lucian as he instructed her to go to the North with James, she'd turn to give the cybernetic man a small smile and nod too before beginning the trek up north. She was a little worried about this, being split up and all. Plus she was pretty sure that James didn't like her much... He didn't seem used to the presence of anyone different from his race yet, nor did he seem to like kids much. Which was double points for her, though she'd still try to keep optimistic and be friendly in the hope that he'd come around and at least get along for the missions sake. "I-I guess that means its me and you, huh? I'll do my best to keep us safe if anything bad happens."

As they progressed, the young pup would revolt back a bit when a sudden terrible smell hit her sensitive nose. She wasn't sure what it was at first, but it didn't take long for them to identify the source of the smell. "H-hello." She'd say meekly with a small bow. "O-oh, my names Lilly. It's a pleasure to meet you two too." After introducing herself, the girl would simply listen to what Gnar had to tell them, focusing more on trying to not show the fact she was feeling very sick from the smell at this point. She'd nod in agreement and was very glad when Gnar began walking away from them, she'd be sure to try and walk as far away from him as possible... She didn't want to be rude, but she didn't think feeling sick would help herself either.

A hanging feeling of dread loomed over the young Jurnil as they approached the great city walls. This place looked almost dead, like no one cared for it at all... All of its death seemed to even seep out and destroy the beautiful nature around them. This was not the sort of place she liked, I-it was quite the opposite really... Mmmm... Why did she have to offer herself to come up here. "Oh!" A sudden idea sprung to mind as she store up the wall, she wasn't sure if it would particularly help them get into the city itself yet. But it still seemed like a good idea and showed she was useful, if this town was killing the wildlife out here the gases in there were probably poisonous, not to mention that yellow gas down the way. Plus this would protect her from Gnar's smell too. "I can form protective barriers around us all, as long as you stay safe they should last a long time and protect you from any potential dangerous gases around here." As she spoke, the girl would hold out her paws and close her eyes, beginning to form together a collection of energy from the world around her that sparkled a green hue in her hands before she focused the power to form shields around herself and everyone else in the area. "H-heh, I don't know if this'll help us actually get in there. But it'll keep us safe whilst we try."

"Don't push yourself too hard kid." He gave the pup a half smile, since they had to work together might as well treat them nicely. Besides, they were pretty alright for a kid, polite and not too noisy... a bit too meek but better than a bratty kid. Maybe he could use this time to get used to them. "I suppose i'll be dishing out the pain while you provide support then..."

After walking together to the north, the two eventually ran into a group of seven people from different species, one stand out in particular. Mostly because he looked like a goddamned corpse, but corpses were something he was used to so he managed to remain composed.

"Hey, name's James, nice to meet you all." He'd give the others, once the pleasantries were out of the way he began to quietly analyze his surroundings, they had to get in somehow... "I suppose going in guns blazing is out of the question, perhaps a sewer system or similar that we could use?Maybe that piss colored stream?"

The protective bubbles that Lilly produced did their job marvelously, cutting out a majority of the smell and providing protection from whatever toxic chemicals filled the heavy air. Damsel would prod the bubble walls curiously and smile to herself.

"Oh my! Is this the power of your ego? It's so pretty!" Damsel's child like giggles would echo in her bubble, seemingly resonating off itself.

"Quite the useful trick... You Seekers never fail to amuse." Gnar chuckled as the walls of his bubble fogged slightly. "Now then. Mr.James, as pointed out a stream an suggests we follow it. I am of a min to agree!. Let us be off."

The small stream lead a sort distance from were the group stood and ended at a large hole in the wall from which the thick yellow fluid flowed. The hole itself was low enough to the ground to climb into with little trouble and wide enough to walk two by two into should the group choose to. From this new vantage point, what appeared to be a small entrance gate could be seen further down the wall maned by two dark figures that could not be fully made out from this distance.

Trying to keep a calm composure, the girl would smile towards James. "Don't worry, I know my limits. I think." She'd respond with a light nervous chuckle. "Sounds good, staying back sounds ideal for me."

---

"Eheh... Kind of. These bubbles are actually just something my race can form using the energy of the world around us. Though, the power has seemed to have been amplified since... Everything happened." Lilly would explain, nodding her head appreciatively at the praise the two they were with gave towards her power. Afterwards, the young pup would look towards the stream that had been pointed out, shivering slightly at the realization that getting in here might be quite a disgusting job... Especially for someone like her who doesn't wear shoes. Regardless, she wasn't one who was good at taking lead of what to do. She buckled under pressure and her ideas were all over the place when put on the spot, she had done what she knew she could to be useful. So for now, she'd just follow the group, staying relatively near the back to try and watch out for everyone, surveying her surroundings as she went, paranoid that some unknown person was watching them.

"Just James will do, pal." The cybersoldier followed it with shrug, he didn't care much about such formalities. At least the corpse man was friendly, unlike that fiery head...

Once the group had arrived, James took a few moments to analyze the tunnel and it's surroundings, taking mental notes of anything that stood out. He then diverted his attention to the group again.

"Hah, oldest strategy in the book..." He commented, mostly at himself. "Either way, unless anyone has any objections or another plan i'm going in." Unless anyone stopped him, the man would step in the tunnel and make his way towards the gate.

A choice has been made. It's consequences, though many, have yet to be realized.

The group has decided to enter the sewer grate.

Gnar and Damsel would nod, Gnar far more confidently then Damsel, as they entered the pipe shortly after James. Should Lilly join them she would have the choice to enter before or after Gnar and Damsel. Once the group had entered, Gnar would turn to their small band of escorts and bark the order to stay behind and make sure nothing unsightly entered in after them.

The seekers and their handler were on their own...

Red: Sewer system on an alien planet from a presumably hostile settlement? Yeah, probably not gonna have the friendliest critters in it.

Blue: Your way in.

Yellow: Potential ways out.

Purple: Obstacles in your path.

Green: Paths deeper into the sewer.

The bubbles continue to filter out the smell of whatever yellow substance is caking the brick and mortar walls of this man made tunnel, and the constant flow of the more liquid variety of the substance flow in a small ten inch deep stream underfoot. It doesn't seem like this path is guarded by any official units... Caution should still be taken however.

W-welp, she was hoping that they weren't going to be serious and go through with this option of how they were going to get into the city. Though it wasn't as if she had any other better ideas for herself, so there wasn't much she could do to say otherwise... It was just really disgusting and disturbing, especially with the weird yellow stuff that lined the walls. W-what even was that stuff? In fact, she didn't want to know. What was even worse is that the girl never wore any kind of foot wear, which was another gross point towards all this. She really, really didn't want to step in anything weird by accident. Though luckily, at least for the moment, her protective barriers that she had placed on everyone would stop any of the gross stuff from touching her. As long as she kept the barriers up... It'd be fine, the smell wouldn't get to her either that way too. Which is just double points.

The girl would nod and try to put on a confident smile despite the fear that lurked inside her towards Gnar and Damsel, letting them take the lead in front of her. By no means was she a combatant of any kind, and it was far easier to support everyone if she stayed back. Both out of the way and able to keep her eyes on everyone at once to make sure they were all okay. Plus then she'd be less likely to be asked to make an important decision such as which way to go or something... Having responsibilities like that were terrifying in case you messed up and put everyone in danger. She didn't want to be responsible for that, it was her job to keep them safe after all. "... What's the plan if we do run into someone?" The timid girl would ask quite suddenly as if the thought of it had only just crossed her mind. Like what if the person they ran into was hostile? W-were they supposed to try to fight them back? Wouldn't that cause more trouble for them in the long run, or a retaliation in some way later on? What if people here had these strange powers too...? They all seemed to start appearing on people within Junction when they came to this world, so maybe it was something to do with this place itself? On the other hand, what if they were friendly and then just get confused why we were just lurking in their sewers? Mmmm... So many things that could go wrong... "We're not going to kill anyone, right?" As if something in the shadows heard her say this... A sudden rattling noise up ahead made her jump. W-what ever was down here... It didn't sound happy.

No objections... was it really a good idea? His mind would be filled with doubt momentarily. Yet he shrugged it off, he must press on to complete the mission. Hopefully the others wouldn't suffer should his decisions turn out to be bad. But enough with those thoughts, he had to press on to complete the mission. The cybersoldier appeared calm and collected as he walked through the sewer systems, he had seen worse and grosser after all and he had managed to pull his doubts to the back of his head for the moment.

"That's a really useful power, Miss Lilly." The AI spoke, trying to make small talk with the pup, hoping to divert her attention and calm her down.
"James might not say it, but your assistance is appreciated."

"...I already talked to her... a bit." He let out a groan, he was terrible with children, even when they behave nice. Maybe he should just let J.U.L.I.A handle the children in the team, it's like someone programmed her to be a mom or some shit like that. When the pup mentioned running into someone, he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, her concerns were valid to be quite honest. "We try a diplomatic approach first, but if they insist on attacking or turn out to be impossible to negotiate with we fight back. Sounds reasonable right?"

"I have no objections to that, James."

"Right, have your weapon or person ready though, in case they are hostile. Don't wanna be caught off guard either." He considered lightning one of his cigarettes but would the smoke leave the bubble or would it stay inside? Better not risk it, don't wanna cloud his vision with smoke, he could also become subject of jokes and such. "Same goes for everyone, we don't want any unnecessary casualties today, right?"

After walking for a while the team would spot some... figures far away. it appeared they were some sort of creature but he couldn't really make out what were they. The man would take a deep breath, he had his gun in hands but it was lowered, pointing to the ground in a non-threatening manner. He would calmly march towards the creatures while trying to stay ahead of the group, should it be hostile, he'd be targeted first instead of the rest of the group.

"Stay safe everyone, and good luck" J.U.L.I.A spoke, trying to not make too much noise.

You hear the sounds of that which lurks in these sewers. A rat chasing a small robot. Both stop to confront you as if knowing you are an invader.

Lilly would stop and stare back at the rather large rat and strange robot that had paused whatever they were doing to stare at them. W-were they going to attack us? Or were they just curious as to who and what we were? They could just be defending their home after all. "W-what should we d-..." Before the girl could finish it seemed as though James had already stepped forward to attack the creatures. The girl wasn't sure if that was really the best idea, especially without giving them the chance to flee or just find out they're interested in who we are. They didn't look like demons or mutants like before after all, they were just an animal and some toy... So for the moment, regardless of what everyone else was doing, the timid pup would just guard herself not wanting to attack.

"Oh bother, it seems we have company. As much as I would love to attempt the diplomatic approach you suggested James, it doesn't seem like these are the type you can reason with... Perhaps you Seekers best handle this. I'd only get in the way after all! Damsel, if you would."

"Sure thing Gnary! Demon Manipulation Program Activate, Hare of Inaba! Come on out!"

After just a few keystrokes, a briliant light would shine from Damsel's cellphone as a Slim hairless rabbit would appear beside her. Wasting no time the little bunny would call forth a great gust of wind directed at the tiny robot.
