Exposed Emotions: Every ally’s attack deal 10% more damage to enemies who are affected by mental ailments, but only if Athena was the one who caused the enemy to have the affliction. This effect lasts for as long as the ailment lasts. The effect can also be reapplied with another ailment once the original one ends, and the type of ailment doesn’t matter as long as it is applied by the owner of this skill.

Fancy: Mental Aliments cast by Athena last 1 more turn than normal
Selfish: Rank 5 or higher required before Athena can receive an attack for them

—Strength Name: To Protect and Serve —Description: Though Cecilia may not be able to harm and damage her enemies, she can utilize her soulbound in other ways. If she guards her soulbound shield will increase her PEnd and MEnd by 20% for the turn.
—Weakness Name: Pacifistic —Description: Cecilia cannot and will not bring herself to harm a living being. The violence she witnessed during the Eternal Divide fucked with her developing mind to the point where the mere thought of hurting a living entity on any level or scale sickens her. As a result, she can never attack someone directly regardless of the circumstances. Her soulbound cannot be used to inflict damage, she doesn't get to carry a side-arm with her, her Persona can't use attack skills, she can't slap/punch/stab someone, etc. It doesn't matter if she's about to die or even if it means the downfall of the government -- she simply cannot bring herself to stain her hands with the blood of another. And while she does accept it as a necessary evil and will allow the rest of her party to kill, she will always advocate for a more peaceful route if her opinion is asked for -- especially when it's humans she's dealing with.
—Weakness Name: Prejudiced —Description: Cecilia will refuse to negotiate with Demons unless no one else in her party is willing and/or able to.
—Weakness Name: Sweet Tooth —Description: Cecilia has a love of sweets and will take her sweet time (no pun intended) enjoying the flavor. HP recovering items restore 5% less HP than they usually would.

As everyone of the demons have finally been vanquished, and with the absence of the Torturous Painter, the hold the portrait had over its victim finally loosened. Jacob fell with a soft thump with trailing bits of flesh and skin crawling back to him. Soon they returned to their rightful place as if they never left him. His entire body was whole once more, but that didn't mean the pain from his torture wasn't. At this very moment, he was comatose and unresponsive. The canvas he fell from left behind another image instead. Soon a voice began to ring within their head.
The familiar voice of their superior addressed them. She sounded mildly exhausted. Ever since Maria left with Lisa and Sera, it was ridiculously hectic as expected. This entire area was rife with demons and she could hear Andraste sing with delight with each thrust ending their lives. It appeared someone was using a Remote View skill connected them to her. She allowed them to explain what happened so far. Of course, she'd explain what happened to her side, but she wanted to know what happened over there first.

Shiina sighed in relief as she spun her knife in her hand and then sheathed it beneath her skirt. That was a tough enemy, but as her previous experiences with this team had proved before and this new experience served as a reminder of, even the toughest of demons wouldn't be able to make a dent in their coordination. It felt strange, even if when they spoke there was friction between this party, in battle they seemed to operate like one well-oiled machine. It made the Tsurinai proud to be a Cadet.
//"Hm?"// The Wild Card instinctively covered her ear when Maria's voice was projected telepathically. Well, she knew this kind of skill from one of her Persona's abilities too, so this wasn't that weird. //"Maria, I'm glad to know your team's safe as well. We've recovered the victim of last night's incident from one of the paintings in the Domain and are about to bring him out. We had to face a powerful Demon to free him but everyone performed admirably and so we came out unscathed."//
Shiina breathed deeply to calm herself and let the sense of relief and pride actually set root within her.
//"Should we meet at the entrance? I don't think it would be safe to continue onward without making sure Jakob got medical attention. He seems unharmed but isn't exactly waking up."// The Tsurinai hummed and turned towards Albrecht. //"Sir Albrecht, can you carry him out? The way should be free of demons now so we shouldn't have to fight on the way out."// He WAS the most physically capable of the group, after all.

That... fiend, he was so resilient, it took the Cadet squad quite some time to destroy the beast. As the demons fell, his anger and bloodlust seemed to subdue. This combat was enough to satisfy his thirst for vengeance, for the moment at least. The knight's grasp of the blade loosened, he'd let it rest on it's sheath, the Angel deserved a break after so much bloodshed in one day. It was then that a voice reached his ears.
"Sister Maria? Glad to hear your voice again." The Lion calmly nodded. "I hope we can exchange our combat deeds once we are out of this damnable place."
At Shiina's request, he'd take the comatose victim in his arms, that man had suffered enough for many lifetimes it seems, even though his wounds were healed the trauma remained. He should have no trouble lifting Jakob, he was at PEAK PERFORMANCE after all.
"It should be no problem. Also, you don't have to call me Sir, Sister. Albrecht will suffice." Though, hearing the title Sir before his name did have a nice air to hit, it boosted his pride. Were not for the helmet he was wearing the other cadets would be able to gaze upon a cocky smile that formed on his face.

"...I see. Good work. I wish I can say the same on my end. We've recently were attacked by a horde and found ourselves separated from Lisa during the chaos. She's not answering us..." There was a slight tremble in her voice, but it was ultimately calm and composed. She found herself feeling a wave of anger and indignation wash over her. It was tempting to act upon these emotions. But the Cadet couldn't afford that. They had a victim that must be tended to on top of the other issues that must be addressed. "No. All of you, including Sera, return. Get the victim to safety, that is your top priority. I'm staying behind to catch up with Lisa and get her to return with me."
"But you'll be alone!" Sera immediately interjected. The urgency and concern laced in his now husky voice. Exhaustion was apparent as well. He was a newcomer Cadet and proved himself able in this night. But even he had his limits as a newly recruited member. This was something Maria was well aware especially from fighting these demons multiple times with him. But someone had to go after Lisa and not leave her to the dogs to gnaw on her bones. Even when going alone in this festering pit was a death sentence for many a Cadet.
"This is an order from your superior, Cadet. We don't want a victim to die on our watch. Go."
The boy hesitated, but slowly nodded. It was clear that he didn't like any of this arrangement and that sentiment was probably shared with everyone else. Communications were kept up in case something was left to be addressed, but it stayed silent as both Cadets had nothing else to say.

As the monsters fell vanquished before them and the tension engulfing the moment dwindled, Cecilia would emit a relaxed sigh and let the grim determination she wore fade from her face. The nature of what she had seen kept her from fully returning to her prior bubbly demeanor, but knowing that the hostage was safe and seeing him recover from the horrific damage that had been inflicted on him almost instantaneously was enough to put a light smile on her face. They had done it again. Just like in Dragon's Maw, another hostage had been saved. It made her feel so relieved, so proud of herself and her allies; she hadn't had as much time in the dungeon as she desired to prove herself, but this alone was a great achievement in itself, a victory she would cherish with all her heart, soul, and psyche. Knowing that she had managed to save a person in need was all the girl needed to keep going.
She considered calling upon Svalinn to restore consciousness to him, but the Cadet had a hunch that it'd be best not to. After everything he had experienced it was probably better for him to recuperate in the real world away from all the supernatural dangers associated with domains; Jakob jolting back to the waking world mere seconds after his torment had ended would no doubt be an unpleasant experience for everyone involved. The clear plan of action was to get him out of the painting as swiftly as possible and then to continue on with their mission. From what she remembered, there were other victims that needed rescuing, and beyond that there was the obvious end goal of bringing the terrorist into custody. Opening her mouth to speak, her chance to interject would be cut short abruptly as Maria's message reached them and Shiina moved to meet her demands. Having seen her performance during the mission to rescue Julius, Cecilia wasn't surprised at all that she was safe, but it was still a blessing to hear from her after spending so much time apart in such a dangerous place. "Heh. I knew you'd be alright. Pushovers like these are nothing against Class Zero, right?"
Sadly that reprieve was short-lived. Murphy's Law knew no mercy and it'd strike them in full force as their commander gave a report of her own and issued orders that filled the heart with dread. If they retreated and left her behind then Maria would be all alone until she regrouped with Lisa As powerful as she was, she was still only human like the rest of them: there was only so far a body could be pushed to its limits before it broke. With a team behind them no demon or Psyche Terrorist was a match for Isla's finest, but fatigued and divided? And she still hadn't forgotten what happened the last time the princess's unit faltered. The mental image of that scene returned to her head, but it would find itself suppressed by something far worse, a vision not of what had happened but rather what could happen.
Her body was trembling, but she couldn't stop it from shaking no matter how much she tried to ignore the omen. Cecilia was haughtier than half her peers combined, but she wasn't a fool; she hadn't been lying when she assured her friend of her right to rule and the skill behind her success, but she also hadn't forgotten what happened on that night five years ago when she abandoned those dear to her to fend for themselves. It was true that they couldn't just leave Jakob or drag him deeper into peril, but they had already cut a clean path to the entrance fighting their way here, and with plenty of reinforcements it was outright nonsensical to lower their tails and turn running en masse. If Maria really did think it was too dangerous to keep pushing on for whatever reason, if the threat was truly so serious that pressing on ahead any further would endanger their lives then...
"Give me the order Athena. I don't want her going in there alone, so please give me the order!"
She wasn't going to disobey commands from her superiors so flippantly, not after the talk her and Maria had a few days ago. Nevertheless, she didn't need to. Cecilia knew for a fact that there was one other rank two Cadet she could count on. Desperately she'd entrust her hopes to the last person capable of granting her the means of fulfilling them. It was all on Athena's shoulders: whether or not a shield would see battle was all up to its wielder in the end.

Athena's mind was racing. She enjoyed the privileges her rank provided but cared little of the responsibilities especially since she had to take hard decisions like this one. On one hand she loathed princess Lisa and would weep no tears if the demons were to get her, one less threat to her establishment but Maria was strong, useful, and Athena knew she would listen to the voice of reason aka Athena's ideas. Furthermore, the life of princess Lisa and Maria were more valued that Jacob's or however his name was, from what Athena could tell he wasn't even a member of nobility, probably some rich asshole who happened to be good at kissing the Queen's ass though Athena couldn't possibly abandon him without damaging her reputation to the Cadets and the media. The model bit her lower lip as she began playing different scenarios in her head, unfortunately, she couldn't find anything where the result was pleasing until it dawned on her.
"Team, listen to me carefully this is an order from your superior officers and you should all comply even if you disagree with it. Sera, you should head to the entrance and wait for your fellow cadets to arrive with the civilian. Albrecht and Takeru, I want you two to take Jacob and help him get out of here, try to avoid any demons, I'm not sure if Jacob can withstand any more trauma. The rest follow me, e are going to save Maria and the princess. As about you, Maria, stay put and don't make anything irrational, we are coming for you."

It was strange. If she was in the position of power, Shiina wouldn't hesitate to go help them either. The thought of the two being out there alone was astonishingly frightening especially when she knew what Maria was capable of. She was powerful, yes, but that power required a lot more maintenance than anybody except for Cecilia would be able to effectively handle.
And that's why Shiina held one of her knives back in her hand.
//"Sorry, Maria, but you heard our superior. She's the one leading our team, so if she says we're going to help, then we're going to help."// It was at that point she stepped out of the room. //"Well then, let's not keep them waiting."// The Wild Card tossed her knife up in the air before catching it by the blade, between two fingers. She wouldn't need to hold back anymore.
//"Thank you, Athena. With so many troops to spare, letting them go alone is just a waste of two lives."// It was true, wasn't it? They had brought so many people with them, abandoning Maria and Lisa would be throwing them to the dogs for no good reason. Carrying Jakob out wasn't a job for more than one or two people and they currently had a grand total of seven Cadets available in this group alone, ten counting Maria's team. //"Let's hope we're not going on a fool's errand now."//
