**ALERT!** After a rather eventful evening at Maksim's Party, three teenagers seems to have gone missing. The doors of Vault Olympia have been breached due to a to this day unknown assailant, who sabotaged the doors locking systems, allowing demons to make entry. Thanks to the excellent defensive capabilities of the Vault's Security drones, the Attack was put to an end, and the invading monsters fled to the outside. Right now, the Doors of Vault Olympia are currently open, allowing any survivors of the fall to seek shelter within the Vault's safe halls. What Vault Security officials think of this development remains unclear as the Chief of Police and Security of Olympia refused to leave a comment. This is Rianara, of Olympia news, signing out.

The site is entering a new era as our team of mods works tirelessly on updating old and obsolete information threads and links. Over the Summer, we aim to make many changes to the forum, including writing a comprehensive beginners' guide to help new players accommodate to the combat and other rp systems in place here.

Where is the item worn?: Head

What does the item do?: This item can only be used by Forgotten.

The Cursed Choker is an item of Demonic influence, allowing Demons bonded to the wearer to maintain a greater control of their host through possession.

A Forgotten can choose to use this equipment at any time, and the next time they enter Last Life this item activates. The possessing Demon influences the Forgotten's spirit, weakening them so they can no longer be healed past their Last Life HP threshold (30% of Max HP) through any means, even when outside of combat as their bonded Demon attempts to maintain control of their body. The Forgotten's Last Life will only end when they are knocked unconscious or killed and they may not exit Last Life any other way. *Notes: Enduring Soul and Victory Cry will only heal the wearer of this item up to their Last Life HP threshold if this item is active.

The Forgotten maintains all aspects of Last Life outside of combat including the boost to their abilities and any changes in appearance or behavior while they are trapped in this form. This item can be activated as soon as a Forgotten is able to enter Last Life per the class ability, even outside of combat. This item cannot be removed while its effect is active and the Forgotten is in Last Life, even by other players. This item can only be used once per topic.

*Note: This item does not grant additional uses of Last Life. The one use of Last Life per combat still applies as normal.

What does the item look like?: A black leather strap worn around the neck, affixed with a metal clasp in the shape of a pentagram. The clasp glows a dull yellow when active and previously unseen runes appear along the length of the strap.

An item that keeps you in Last Life even outside combat and thru to the next on top of healing ailments and debuffs the first time? AND they can enter Last Life if revived? That item will definitely not fly; it is waaaay too powerful. Not even the best equipment could upgrade Last Life much more beyond what it already is even at the cost of not being able to heal which is arguably a boon in and of itself. If you want to boost Last Life maybe you could raise the threshold to a minimum degree or do something else with it, but it definitely will not be doing all of that.

Before I reword it a bit to better represent the meaning, let me explain a little better.

The item doesn't allow you to enter Last Life multiple times in a fight, it locks you in to Last Life. It's not adding additional uses, it's maintaining the first use. Last Life already happens once per battle anyway, so if you start a fight under 30% HP you enter Last Life again in the next battle. Last Life also states that the Forgotten are in Last Life as long as their HP is under 30%, there's no mention that they can't be in Last Life outside of combat in the Class Ability and I'd argue that it doesn't apply much practical benefit anyway because it only boosts damaging skills which you're not using out of combat.

I'll reword the examples a bit, but the maintains Last Life outside of combat was meant to display that you can't leave it and that could be RP relevant if you're not a Cadet and your Last Life Appearance is different. The 1 HP mention doesn't mean that you revive in Last Life, it's there to showcase that even outside of combat if your health dips below 30% you're locked into it regardless. You can't be healed above 30% even outside of combat is what I was trying to get at, you're stuck at 30% HP max until you get taken down.

I can remove the healing Ailments and buffs on activation no problem and I'll reword the entry, but I'll clarify that this item doesn't give you additional uses of Last Life or revive you in Last Life, it keeps you from leaving Last Life by being healed out of it at the drawback that it can activate when you don't want it to (like taking damage in a dungeon outside of a fight or your teammates winning a battle without reviving you with Recarm) and you can't be healed above 30% outside of combat.

I don't think the equipment should be doing this every time someone goes into Last Life every battle. Give it some kind of limit per topic, and I can give you the materials, perhaps once a topic or every three battles. Either of which I am fine with.
