Welcome to New Arcana!
Welcome, Welcome! You've probably guessed by now, but this is a text-based Persona RPG site for Atlus fans, by Atlus fans. If you're new to Shin Megami Tensei, this place can still be for you, so no need to dash towards the doors! Your first stop should be the introduction board so we can introduce ourselves. Then right after that, feel free to go through our vital information to get a good feel of the site. We hope you enjoy your stay, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to post them here. Ciao!
Shin Megami Tensei and Persona belong to ATLUS. We own nothing, and have simply used their data to create a world of our own. They are the true geniuses behind the scenes.
//"Tsk tsk... I'm afraid your puns aren't reaching my heart, though then again, it IS challenging to impress the queen."// A trio of knives formed out of thin air right in Shiina's hand, held tightly by readied fingers. With her other hand, the Wild Card held up three fingers, then counted them down, and sprinted forward once they reached 0.
//"Jinguu-Tennou..."// Her golden eyes were obscured by the red mist covering her previous position, and she threw an appreciative glance at Gionatan as she bounded off effortlessly towards the enemy. She only needed to get the drop on them, and her Persona would appear as soon as she was close enough to assault these demons...
Upon shiina sprinting Ava would simply follow right after. Wew boy, we got more uglies up ahead everybody. She would say simply following directly after shiina in order to join the fray and slash up whatever the hell was waiting for them. What could possibly be waiting for them this time? It was truly annoying to have to deal with so many enemies, she could only consider how retarded the boss themselves of this place was going to be. As she ran Ava compared this entire situation to almost something you would see inside of a video game. A Convenient party of four which conveniently used magic and strange powers to defeat an unknown force that was breeching upon their world.
In fact, who was to say that Ava was not actually inside of a video game. However it was questions like these that were certainly very unnecessary, as thoughts like these were probably the ones people had right before they got caught off guard by something which killed them. Ava would hate to be that girl who's last words before dieing were "is this a rpg?". With so much time to really think of several different possibilities and occurrences, it was definitely hard to keep her mind from wandering onto whatever the hell was possible. I wonder what is it about demons that makes them want to attack us so much,. Could you say even some of them were born a special kind of retarded?Perhaps the demons were even, or perhaps Ava herself was a special kind of retarded. Who was to say everyone didn't have their own version of being retarded?
What if indeed the madness that overtook certain people within the city of endymion was instead a special blend of autism. There had been talks of a special being before the eternal divide had happened, something about a KEK. A FROG that was worshipped by many, what if this dastardly frog was behind everything that was going on? The thought of it made Ava shudder, the very idea of a cartoon frog having the power to possibly shatter the entire world and produce demons all over it. Such thoughts though were very blasphemous, there were no signs of a cartoon frog cult within the city of endymion according to what she knew. So therefore she had nothing to worry about right?
Well well. It may not be intentional, but it seems her senior Mr. Gionatan was something of a charmer. There was a certain grace to his simple expression of gratitude. If she were easy to swoon he would have won her heart right there and then.
Too bad she didn't speak Italian, otherwise she could have responded in kind.
Though, what Ms. Tsurinai said was enough of a jab at her pride to be worth responding too.
"Oh, not impressed, eh? No need to be so tart, your majesty," " She replied to Ms. Tsurinai, giving her a rather cocky shrug as she watched the red mist cloak multi-persona user's form. " Though, I suppose this is a worthy challenge. Sooner or later... I will have your verdict overruled!" She couldn't help but point dramatically as she said that. Perhaps she was taking this challenge a little too seriously? It was thankful that she knew enough to prioritize the demon over her own pride as a punner.
She waited until the others took off into their run. She was the support, after all. There was no need for her to rush straight into the battle. As soon as she found herself in the position she was most comfortable in, she ran as fast as fast as her legs could carry her in a bid to keep up with the others. After all, she was required to make the first scan of the enemy, so it only made sense that she got into proper battle position as soon as possible. Her pride in her punctuality was at stake here.
Heh, I suppose I could do an "I'm late" pun, but I think now is the absolute poorest time for that one. Both in combat and in punning, timing is essential.
"I wonder what is it about demons that makes them want to attack us so much. Could you say even some of them were born a special kind of retarded?"
"Who knows? Maybe this is their way of demon-ing respect?"
Alright, perhaps that was uncalled for, but when you're on a roll there is no point in stopping, I suppose. Still, it was a pretty legit question, and one worth researching at some point. Yet another topic that had the potential to be a research paper on it's own.
Mental note, be sure to thank Ava for the inspirations. Her philosophical questions are actually thought provoking. Or... at least I consider them to be. She should be getting into range. Even if it didn't see much use, it was time call her sword to the ready.

"Maybe you just have high standards, Shiina." While he wasn't good with puns, he could still join their shenanigans by being silly "Give young Masako credit, she is trying to keep up with the Pun Queen."

And here we are, Masako thought to herself the moment the group arrived, ready for battle. This was a little too familiar, but at least it was easy to figure out the true threat of the duo. Instincts took over like auto-pilot, the auto-scan working it's magic on the Rabbit Boto.
Once that scan has been completed, she sets to work on using Binding Law on demonic doll set. Just like clockwork... heh, clockwork...
