Aftermath [Gabe]

It was good to see how the Martial Arts Club progressed in this school, and after sometime, he could even join for some spars with some other classmates. Good thing they let him wear his practice attire and even share some tips about sword fighting.

After the class ended, Liam is around a little to talk with anyone willing and to hit the lockers afterwards, after all meeting new potential spar members is always a nice thing.

Gabe just so happened to take a nice jog around the gym for a morning workout routine. He was a little bit tired and wanted to take a rest in the locker room. "Sigh..... alot harder than it looks..." Gabe wasnt out of shape, but anything not involving his passion was quite a hassle. "Dump dump..." After putting a quarter in the vending machine, he noticed that the vending machine gave him two Gatorade instead of one. "Broken?" Gabe would say as soon as he picked one up. While walking over to his locker, Gabe noticed, a fellow student. "Hey! The vending machine gave me an extra one, you look parched my friend. " Gabe would say as he gave a weak toss over to the man of the blue gatorade bottle.

That was unexpected. Someone presenting him with Gatorade after a training session? He sure didn't believe he had luck, but that was handy. ~ Hey, thanks for the drink! ~ He grabbed the bottle midair with his free hand, and drank a little before continuing the conversation as some was of compensating the other's kindness. ~By the way, I'm Liam. Nice to meet you. ~
The red-haired let his wooden training sword laying near him before breathing deeply. ~ Early training too, huh? Do you always train around here? ~ Socializing in the new school is always something you should do, you never know when you might need someone that knows the ropes around, right?

You are very welcome. "Gabe would say in return as he opened his locker and took out some clothes. " Liam? Gabe, its a pleasure..." After that exchange, Gabe would sit down with a sigh. "Not necessarily into training, i feel as if physical fitness is important for everyday life in general. I call it conditioning for the future. " Gabe would then chuckle as he opened his own Gatorade bottle. " Running is always a useful skill, whenever you are running to something, or running away from something. You'll always need your legs. " Gabe would then eye the stick. "Kendo?"

~Pleasure is mine, Gabe. ~He chuckled lightly before trying to find to his locker, taking some time to find the right spot as he wasn't used to that school yet. ~Ah, I see. You have an interesting vision for doing some exercises, eh. ~ He took another gulp of his Gatorade, before putting it aside to grab some clothes and a towel. ~Nah, Kung Fu! ~ He smiled, reaching out for the sword. It sure has been part of a lot in his life.

Kung fu, with a sword?" Gabe made a confusing face, he wasn't too sure what kind of martial arts involves kung fu with a sword. "Most of it is unarmed combat, i'm not quite aware of any more styles that involve you utilizing a sword as well. Can you tell me more about it?" Gabe would say with an interested look on his face. This actually might be pretty good material for his book, maybe that could be an enemy for the protagonist that the children's book that Gabe was writing? Though, at this rate, the book might not be geared to children so much with the influx of violence. He did however wonder what kind of martial arts that this man liked to practice.

~Yes! ~ That was the first impression some people had of the martial arts, as it was more known as the hand-to-hand combat form. ~ Don't you remember that old oriental films that had Shaolin Kung fu fighters? It's like that, but not as flashy. ~ The red-haired laughed a little as he was putting his sword in the locker, and started to take off his training clothes. ~ Kung fu has many forms of armed combat, ranging from swords to even axes and for the fancier, even things like fans. It is a very diverse art! ~ he would nod, even if he himself didn't practice anything else than the sword variation. But that would be enough to support his way of conduct in the martial arts, he thought.

Shaolin? I heard of those! Doesn't it have anything to do with shaving your head balled and getting six dots burned into your head?" Gave would start to think now. "If it is anything like the movies, i think i know the kind of sword you use, i'm just not familiar with the name. Its much more wide, and has somewhat of a knitted handle perhaps. " Gabe was going about it based off of memory, but who knows if he was right or not. "If you are well versed in learning about an art that allows you to use a different set of tools, then i'm completely outclassed. Your discipline is a success story all on its own, Cheers.." it's always nice to run into interesting people every now and again. "What year are you?"

~ That are the most known, yes. But I'm not int that life! ~ He laughed it off, wrapping the towel on his waist before taking his pants off. ~ Funnily enough, there are a couple swords to train with, but I like straight swords more. ~ He did think about explaining the different sword types but wasn't going to dwelve into it if he didn't ask about it. ~ I'm not that well versed! I'm too young for having so much skill like that. I'm just good at unharmed combat and swords, really. But thanks! ~ He signalized to the showers as he was going to that side of the lockers after letting his things in their place. ~ I'm a second year, just got here from other school. And you? ~

"I'm a third year myself, on my way out. Can you imagine? It's hard to travel and live any sort of adventurous lifestyle, enjoying our youth, when demons are on the loose. After graduating, you should feel tempted to go on vacation, visit Taiwan or something after years and years of studying. Wouldnt that be enjoyable liam? An authentic island resort?" Gabe would then shake his head and start to put on his clothes. " Then again, to each his own. I'm just saying, after finals, a vacation is nothing less of what we deserve with the cramming we have to do. Speaking of which, what classes are you into anyway? Besides martial arts.

~ Hm, I dunno.i prefer to go somewhere I can train. Probably Japan? Seems like a nice place. ~ He would say, going to the showers. ~But you know? I have some other projects in mind first. You should go ahead though. ~ He completed with a thumbs up, before answering the next question. ~ Ah, I'm just into the basics. And trying out for that Class 0, you know? It would be nice to be in there. ~

The himalayan mountains have thinner air at the tip, it's good for conditioning if anything. " Gabe would say as he folded his arms. The talk about class zero didn't really interest him. He didn't have any powers, or anything that made him special to join. Even so, acting like cowboys and indians with a special set of skills wasn't something that Gabe took a liking to. "Well.... class zero, i heard rumors that they have a jacuzzi in the room. I don't know why, but an old friend told me stories about it. I don't believe it myself, but it's class zero, so...maybe..." Who knew if that rumor was true.

~ That's certainly true. Maybe I'll consider going there then. ~ He got to one of the showers, opening it up. ~ A Jacuzzi? Goddamn, and I thought they had just the Government's favor. that's some serious benefits. ~ n|ow that's something to brag about to someone, even if he didn't have anyone to do so. He shoved that thought aside when he entered the shower, but still kept his ear up for anything the other man had to say.

"Oh... wow.. i almost forgot.... maybe i should take a shower myself....." Gabe would get up, but then he would sit back down rather quickly. On second though, i don't really like to bathe anywhere other than my own home. I'm not too sure about the school facility code on cleanliness. " It wasn't that he wanted to be a smelly guy or anything, but Gabe was quite a cautious man. He only used Lysol and other high end cleaning products in his bathroom. That was like the most clean place in his house at times, and his mother put in alot of interior design inside of it. "Though, it's just a rumor... ever heard of rumors from class 0?

Liam would peek out his head from the waters to smile at the other one. ~ Well, It's clean enough for me! ~ He laughed a little before making sure he was cleaning all the right places, washing himself up and turning off the shower. ~ Well... I've heard that they don't pay to eat in certain places around the city. Don't know if It's true though. ~
