I Can't Take This Place [Sada]

Sada simply looked at the card at first with his slightly red eyes, he had a bit to drink after all. After listening to what she said, Sada then took the card and put it in his wallet. He then reached for a pen across the counter and silently wrote his name and cellphone number. “Morihiro….Sada…” After writing his name down, he would pass the card back to her. “ You went through all this trouble for the sake of having some sort of Hand in order to run a little bit of errands for your boss, but remember what you promised me. “That was all Sada had to say, the intensity in his eyes and the tone of his voice gave it away. Sada would do whatever he wanted anyway, see how this feels, what he can gain, and as soon as he gains all that he wanted or needs, he probably won’t need them anymore. That’s all it ever is, they were using each other. Hopefully she didn’t take Sada for a fool in that sense to believe in naïve promises.

She did, in fact, take Sada for a fool. She may have been arrogant, but the boy struck her as recklessness incarnate. He'd been right about one assumption, though. They were using each other and Mary was more than willing to hold up her end of the bargain. Something told her the boy wouldn't cut it working for Nyarlethotep. Still, no point in wasting the opportunity to get a pawn, even if only a temporary one.

She took his card, as well as the credit card returned by the bartender, and slipped them into her card holder. The holder then found its way back inside her bra. Hardly a comfortable location, but much less likely to be swiped off her unintentionally. For a moment, she pondered trying to get the boy back home. Still, she decided against it. Sada had been far too much of an annoyance today and she'd pressed her luck simply convincing the boy to sign himself to the cause.

She pushed her table out and placed a hand on the boy's shoulder. "It really was fun," she lied, "We'll have to do it again." As she stepped away, she allowed her nails to rake lightly at the boy's neck. But she didn't stay to see his reaction. She stepped out of the door, rounded the corner, and slipped into the back alleys as she began to make her way back towards the ferry that led home
