Cyrus is a Caucasian 6 feet 1 tall man, proud owner of a pair of magenta colored eyes and shaggy (naturally) white hair. Beneath his clothing, he isvery slightly muscular, yet his overall physique is very slightly skinny. He is usually seen wearing casual work jeans, black oxford shoes, an open grey and green hoodie draped over a standard white button-up shirt, and an untidy black tie; it’s not uncommon to see him without the hoodie if the current weather merits it, however.

Personality: Cyrus is a generic introvert that prefers to be alone, but unlike most of his kind he doesn't object when thrust into social situations. Mentally speaking, Cyrus could be described as mature, but he still hasn’t lost contact with his inner child, which can be observed in various aspects of his personality such as his sassiness, cockiness and sense of humor. He is generally hard to impress and nearly completely immune to peer and group pressure, but these traits could present themselves in a different light given the context of the situation. He possesses a very rational, atheistic, scientific and logical outlook on life, not really bothering much with philosophical questions such as "The meaning of life" or "One's purpose" Which he never really understood to begin with. In this sense he could be considered a nihilist, as he is uninterested in the major questions and likes to focus only in what can be directly explained with proof and trial and error. He is generally reserved around people when he first meets them, but once they get to know him better they’ll find an optimistic, kind and loyal friend.

—Description: Spending one’s entire childhood, and most of one’s teenage years inside a high-tech lab has a tendency to grant proficiency with machinery and computers, especially when these two are a subject of interest. Cyrus, being no exception, has enough experience with computers, machines and technology in general to be able to work at IT without a manual if he so desired.

—Strength Name: Peer Pressure Immunity
—Description: It might have been a result of his upbringing, or a simple trait embedded in his personality since birth, but whatever the case the fact stands that Cyrus is and always has been a deviant; he does what he wants and in his own way regardless of whatever it is that society expects him to do or how to do it, as long as it’s not directly putting anyone else in danger or generating an inconvenience.

—Description: A common trait within the Abaddon bloodline, Cyrus has an unusually efficient eyesight, being able to spot details that most people would miss and experiencing less reduction of visibility from distance.

—Description: Despite being taught from an early age that the only correct way to make a decision is to think it through and consider all the possible consequences, Cyrus can’t help but be naturally easy to anger. His thin skin is often an easy target for those who would want him to slip up and make a mistake or two.

—Description: Despite his muscles being ever so slightly pronounced, Cyrus’s physique is… less than average. As a result of being a man of thought rather than action and having had very little physical exercise as a kid, Cyrus is unathletic and clumsy. In battle, this translates as a 10% evasion chance reduction, though it cannot go lower than the base 10% chance.

—Description: It is undeniable that Cyrus’s views and thoughts on everything around him, both the objective and subjective aspects, are firm, decided and vocal, but it is precisely because of this that Cyrus hates to admit whenever he’s wrong about something; it’ll take more than just a few choice words to get him to admit to being wrong while holding an argument.

—Weakness Name: Judgmental
—Description: Despite his friendly nature, Cyrus has a really bad habit of fixating on people’s flaws. He sees the good in them too, of course, but whatever flaws they hold in tandem bother him much more than they should; ergo, he tries to ignore them as much as he can, but when he really can’t ignore them any longer he will more than gladly harp on them for hours.

Weapon Description: Ouroboros is a jet-black double-ended scythe with crimson colored ends, resembling a blood-dirty, used weapon. The middle of the handle has a circular grip that allows Cyrus to hold the scythe and spin it with ease; the grip itself holds a picture of a winged snake eating its own tail engraved on both sides. The pole is 5 feet long, and both blades are 1foot tall and 2.5 feet long

The Background

History:
Cyrus Abaddon was born to Ariel and Raphael Abaddon, both renowned scientists specializing in the fields of biology and theoretical physics respectively. Since birth, Cyrus was – and still is – a genius, yet he hesitates to show the extent of his gray matter; as a child, whenever he did displayed his heightened intelligence, his peers would praise how "smart" and "informed" he was for his age, but this would only upset him. His parents were both incredibly busy all the time, and Cyrus concluded that this must be because society kept them busy for being smarter than most. Thus: Cyrus decided he would hide his intelligence to the best of his ability, as he didn’t want to have to spend all of his life working and studying. Growing up in a research laboratory in Parangelia with both of his parents being scientists, Cyrus learned from an early age not to answer all questions, but to question all answers. He developed a systematic view of life, where everything in the universe follows a pattern of logical cause-to-effect. Though he tried his hardest growing up not to be condescending to people who saw the world in other ways, there was always a little voice within him mocking them internally, even if it did make Cyrus feel bad for thinking such thoughts.

As time went by, Cyrus felt more and more comfortable displaying his intelligence, as the scientific community began to interest him more and more. At around the age of 15, Cyrus was admitted into the same laboratory he grew up in as a researcher in the field of biology. It was around this time that he became fascinated with a peculiar species of aquatic organisms called Hydra Plants, which had the ability to manually destroy, create and rejuvenate their own cells. He spent the following three years of his life conducting experiments involving genesplicing microbes and small insects with Hydra Plants in an attempt to give them the ability to renew their aging cycle like Hydra Plants do, planning to apply this same knowledge to humans later on once the method had been perfected. Unfortunately for Cyrus, his mother contracted colon cancer soon after he had made an incredible breakthrough that was sure to bring him closer to giving humans rejuvenating abilities. Disheartened but not defeated yet, he continued to work, now having much more of a motivation to finish his research as soon as possible. At the age of 18, he finally finished the first stage of his research and began testing the genesplicing on animals. To the dismay of him and his coworkers, all animals that were gene spliced with Hydra plants aged multiple years in nothing more than a few seconds and died. It appeared as if all their effort had been for naught.

A few months after their initial failed animal test, Cyrus's mother's condition took a turn for the horribly worse, and she had been given a month left to live at best. In a last ditch attempt to save her, Cyrus requested permission from the Parangelian state, the laboratory he worked in, and his mother herself to utilize her as his first (and most likely last) human test subject for the Hydra Plant gene splicing project. Considering the facts that she was dying with no chance of recovery, had given consent, and that the research in question could have legendary breakthroughs for all mankind, the Parangelian state gave Cyrus the go-ahead. Cyrus watched his own mother age 36 years in 7 seconds and shrivel up dead.

Feeling absolutely disgusted at his inability to save her and being deeply depressed over her loss, Cyrus decided to completely ditch the hydra plant project and leave Parangelia and his academic lifestyle behind. He moved to Eirini, where his fancy laboratory home was replaced with a shabby apartment, and his prestigious position of head biology researcher was replaced with that of a writer for a weekly science aficionado magazine called “Quantum”. In the first few months after his arrival, Cyrus had managed to overcome depression on the pretense of knowing that his mother wouldn’t want him to live the rest of his life as a sad, melancholic husk of a man.

However, as much as he despised what his carelessness had wrought, a deep dark corner of Cyrus's mind felt flustered. Not because of what happened to his mother (though that was still deeply disturbing in its own right), but because the project was a failure. Despite what Cyrus might tell himself about how there’s no way he’d still want something so morbid after what he’d gone through, there is most definitely a sickeningly curious side of him that wishes to see the Hydra Plant project come to a successful fruition.

Personality: Can you please provide a bit more? It's a little confusing how he is supposedly very scientific and nihilistic yet optimistic and easy-going, as those two things seem to inherently clash.

Strength: Multilinguism: What languages does he speak exactly and how does he know them? (This can be explained in his History section if you'd like.)

Strength: Peer Pressure Immunity: You say in Cyrus' history that he has a "fear of being labeled as a "nerd" or a "snob" by his peers should he actually show his true intelligence". If he is truly immune to peer pressure and the anxieties that come with it, why would this bother him?

Weakness: Clumsy: Will this affect him in combat? If so, please state how. If not, please explain why.

I don't want to mean, but what is this exactly? The last time I let someone turn their mother into a plant or pseudo-plant was when DIO awoke. Yeah, no, I'm not letting this pass, there's no technology advanced enough to make someone into a plant, especially not in Erisia, no matter how much of a genius you are. I wouldn't even let Mysterio do something like that.

Eh-hem. I, the DM, am saying it wouldn't be possible. You only discovered the supernatural now, when the MAs happened, and magic wouldn't be able to be used like that yet, at all. I'm sorry, but I'll have to refuse that backstory.
