Midnight calls [Hyde]

Nagisa picked her phone which she had placed next to her computer. She quickly went through her contracts and once she found the one named Hyde Minazumi she pressed the green call button. As she heard the phone ringing she took another sip from the cup of coffee which had grown cold. It wasn't easy accomplishing this project but since she finally made it she felt the need to inform Hyde about it.

Hyde was sitting in his new room that was provided to him from shu. He was actually living with shu for quite some time. "Hm..." Hyde would say as he spun around in his chair with a small book i his hand. However, he recently received a call on his cell phone from Nagisa sempai. "Nagisa?" Hyde would say in his head as he picked up the phone. Evening Nagisa sempai, whats up?" It was always good to hear from Nagisa, especially since they had that camping trip together. It meant alot to Hyde that she was willing to put herself in an uncomfortable position that she wasn't used to in order to hang out with him

My sleeping schedule is always getting messed up during breaks... but I digress I didn't call you just to tell you that. Say do you remember that thing we talked about back at our camping trip? About setting up a site where the other summoners can post the information they have found in their ventures int he alternative worlds?" Nagisa asked as she grinned at the screen of her computer. "I manage to set it up."

Say, you just blushed right now...didn't you? Hyde would say questioningly when NAgisa mentioned her sleeping schedule. Though he would give an embarrassing look himself. "Well, i would sleep in all day and be up all night, old habits die hard sometimes. "Though, hyde kind of realized that Nagisa mentioned the stuff with the other users meeting each other. "Oh , so you managed to get a hold of Jack? I haven't necessarily see him in quite a while. Is he doing well? He would say with a small smile on his face. "Though, setting it up where? The only private place i know of is the velvet room, but sharaku can't go there, his powers work differently than ours. I don't know about Blaez and .... well i knew another guy who used this drug that makes their persona wacky, up to the point that it wants to kill them all the time. " Hyde would say with worried tone." i don't know if he can enter too. So, location seems to be the thing here.

"I haven't told Jack everything about it but I have sent him an invitation to join the site, he's not the type of person who would be opposed to it... Other than that he's doing fine, he also received a strange message from one of those velvet room people and he asked me and Quinn, his partner, to join him. I think I wil be going though the mirror again. I always hate going there. Last time was far from pleasant." Nagisa replied as she took another sip from her coffee but she never managed to swallow when Hyde mentioned the name of Sharaku. She was also surprised that he knew Blaez but it wasn't as earth shattering as his first information.

"You know Sharaku? Sharaku Rikei, tall guy, nice hair, kind of rude but not exactly mean. I have met him a couple of times in the past, I didn't realize that he was a friend of yours, perhaps Azores is smaller than I though. She said as she recalled the time before she was a persona user, how simple and easy her life used to be before this incident began. "I should give you administrator rights once you join. You have far more connections than I do and we could really use their help... and there is another matter. I'm not sure if I should also invite Blaez in this"

Site? What in the world is going on? Did you make a website or something for persona users and the groups of the sort? I thought we was meeting up in real life? But i guess using a computer would be more convenient and private right?" That was a interesting idea, getting everybody in a skype call or something like that could be just a useful, and we all could spread ideas and whatnot. Though, Hyde would blink twice when Nagisa mentioned the message. "Hes....awakening... hes going to face his shadow.... its going to happen to everyone.....that's unavoidable when you have this power. It might happen to you too.... so be careful.

Hyde laughed when nagisa mentioned Sharaku. "Tell me something i don't know. But hes ok, dont worry.

"That's right. A website is far more easy to access and less time consuming than an actual meeting. Information will travel faster that way. You can also use your cellphone to upload information though I don't think there's a strong wifi signal in the alternative worlds." She joked before she heard what Hyde had to say about the message Jack received. She knew that Quinn had received a similar one before they traveled through the mirror. Nagisa wondered why she hasn't received one yet.

"I suspected that much. Something similar has happened before. I guess I will soon travel through this mirror one more time. I've been meaning to ask you this... I know it might sound crazy but lately crazy seems to be the new black in Azores. I had a vision... I don't know how else I can describe it. I saw you fighting yourself or something like that and I had to protect you. Did something happened to you? Was that a vision of the past or the future? I haven't spoken about it to anyone but it has been bothering me for a long time."

it sounds like a good idea. Have you decided on a domain name? Something that not too obvious but a general ground that those involve would understand whats going o or what the sites about? Plus, we need to be very careful about who joins, run the email address and screen names by those involve and whatnot. We need to keep on a tight lock-down so make sure you get the email address's of your group members and ill get the email addressees of my friends, that way we know what to look out for.

Though, Hyde got a bit quiet when Nagisa mentioned the awakening he went through. " It wasn't a vision, it was real. I was in danger, and i could of died, but you cam for me, you and the rest of my friends. IT was my awakening, and my shadow was winning, but i couldn't have done it without you. Believe me. And...i was thinking about it alot.... how....could i make it up to you.... you know.... what can i do for you...." Hyde would say, his voice full of emotion. You know, there was a friend of mine called nilo lockwood that was in JAck's group. He died, jack never told me how or why, or if he knew at all. I felt terrible.... that i had to call my friend back from the dead just to save my ife....and yet i never knew what really happened to him. Do you know?

Nagisa was about to give the information about the site but then the conversation took an unexpected turn. Once again Nilo's name appeared. It was strange that a person she was never going to meet connected her with so many people. Blaez, Jack and Hyde, her most important friends all knew him. Blaez had told her that they weren't close but he was also sad about his demise. Hyde deserved to know what happened to him. "You have been venturing the parallel worlds longer than I. I believe you have already encountered shadows with the ability to manipulate a person's mind and force them to attack their team members. Back then Jack's team didn't know about this so none of them were properly equipped to stop it... in the end one of the other rangers ended up killing him under the control of one of those shadows. If only I have joined Jack's team then I could have saved them." It seemed like this incident had happened in a past lifetime. "When someone awakes, they face the incarnation of their suppressed emotions and thoughts it's possible for Jack's shadow to mention Nilo and his death, I should make sure that Jack doesn't give in to depression when that happens."

Silence, Hyde was quiet for a really long time. All Hyde felt at the moment was anger and confusion. This happened a while ago and it took them so long to tell Hyde the truth. Now that Hyde finally knows, and now he feels horrible about it overall. He felt lied to, even though they didn't particularly say anything to him in the first place. What could he say in the first place. "Sniff..." Maybe its good that nagisa didn't see Hydes face right now, the tears tricking down his face. "i'm sorry.... i.... yea....thanks for telling me Nagisa...its not your fault.

"I know, self pity isn't going to help anyone. I'm not the strongest persona user but I want to prevent deaths like Nilo's. If this site even manages to save at least one life then it will be worth the trouble. From your tone I can understand that you and Nilo were close, do you mind telling me more about him. I've told you the way he died now I want you to tell me the way he lived. Who was Nio Lockwood?" Nagisa asked as she placed her feet on her chair and then wrapped her arm around her legs while resting her head on her knees. She stared at her screen before she opened a new tab in order to email Hyde the invitation for the site. She would make him an admin once he joined, thankfully nobody could even view the pages content without being invited to it first and she doubted that her site would attract many people, who would ever google "fresh strawberry pie forum" a site for people who loved strawberry pies and liked to talk about them? Perhaps a cook would try it but they would give up since there was no way for them to find the administrators and ask them for an invitation to their forum.

"He was my little brother. He was a boy who was born with a condition that made his body frail and weak, but he had a strong heart. He basically looked up to jack as a role model, you can even call nilo a founder of the group that you're apart of now, one for the first rangers. He was nice, held a lot of grief in his heart because of his condition, he thought he was making his mother suffer because of the hassle that generated around his being. Couldn't even be out in the sun like this, cut himself for it......." Hyde would say lowly. "But he wanted to change, he had the willingness to, he didn't want all of those negative emotions and regressed feelings to hold him down anymore, and after meeting him, i didnt want that for him either. " Then, hyde would start to smile. " HE was pretty good at drawing, or was it writing. Either way, he was a talent, lived well, an died too soon, i cant even say he died for what he believed in, he died in a fucking accident....."

Hyde lost himself for a brief moment when he cursed, but he came back just as fast. "Sorry, i got the domain name now. "

"Nilo is gone but his dream can live on through you and Jack. He sounds like a good kid and I'm sure he would want to put an end to this madness, the loss of a friend is will always cause you pain and sometimes rage. However, you shouldn't let those feelings get the better of you, how Nilo died is not important, remember him the way he wanted to be remembered. As a kid who wanted to live, a boy who tried with all his might to help Azores, his sacrifice wont be in vain, you will make sure of that. Nagisa felt her throat burning and her vision grew hazy, she should stop talking about it if she wanted to avoid crying so she took a deep breath before she continued. "I'm sorry for delivering such gloomy news but you had the right to know about your friend. Just make sure that you'll never give up for his sake as well as mine. I know I haven't told you that, and I don't plan of making a habit of praising you since I have to keep you on your toes, but you give me hope. I know that with you in our side there's no way we can lose. So....if I ever fail in a mission and meet with the same fate as me I don't you to give into despair. I want you to promise me that you will save Azores."

You wont, trust me. I'll put an end to the lot of them, the primordial and the corruption. Believe it or not, i have a secret weapon against the thing that they are trying to bring back. With it, i'm sure that ill be able to help everyone. I don't want there to be any more sacrifices, you have a life outside of this when its all over nagisa. You have your family's company running for student council president again to be reelected." Hyde would say with a small smile. " Thats a torture i wouldn't want anyone with a heart like yours to go through, a heart like nilo. To die without achieving an honest dream you had for yourself, a goal you strive for, i dont want that for you. So dont worry, i'll save azores...... you don't need to make sacrifices like that.

Nagisa smiled when she heard Hyde's compliment and out of reflex she reached she placed her hand on the left side of her chest. If only her heart was as pure as Hyde thought, Nagisa wanted to save Azores as much as anyone but many times she wondered if this wish was born out of nobility or selfishness. She was willing to make sacrifices but would she really sacrifice her own life to save everyone? That was something Nagisa couldn't tell, her entire future and well being were chained with Azore's. If her city were to fall so would her family's fortune since the Sugihara group owned most of the companies on the islands but little else outside that therefore Azores's well being had to be protected. Still she doubted that Thesis would stop just at Azores, the entire world was in danger the way Nagisa showed it she had no other choice but to fight. "You don't need to worry about me, Hyde. I'm not made of glass and I'm not going to try to play the hero or anything. I'm just saying that we are all in a dangerous situation... we are in fact in war and nobody is safe until a war ends. You are strong and I believe that in the end you are going to save us all just make sure that you live to tell the story, your dreams and goals aren't less important than mine. Azores is a burden all of us carry and it's one that we should carry together or else we are doomed to be crushed under it's weight."
