Receiving the first Compendium [Chance's Awakening]

The past few days had been based on gathering information regarding the world the Velvet Guests had resided in. It was quite interesting to see the freedom they held, and the limitless potential they held aswell. The Attendant couldn't help but be interested in them, but in the end s/he had a duty within the Velvet Room. A duty s/he would need to be dedicated to if s/he wished to be of use to the various guests entering and exiting the room in question. Walking up to his master, the Attendant would give a bow before him with a smile. "Master, I understand my role now. As one who governs power, I will assist those of the other world. I will assist and guide them to the truth, without directly influencing their way of life. This is my role as an Attendant." Chance had arrived because it was time for him to receive the object of power every true Attendant held. That of the Persona Compendium. Most of his brother and sisters held the power for much longer than him, even though he had been created for quite some time. However with the sudden neglect to the guests, he needed to reconnect before getting the power to truly help and challenge their potential. Now, here he was, ready for the responsibility.

On the table before Chance was a book with a distinctive "C" placed on the cover. Sitting in his chair, Igor would keep his hands folded beneath his nose as a wide smile came across his face. So the Attendant had finally found his/her purpose? "I see." Igor spoke with a calm voice as the book lifted itself into the arms of the Attendant. "Then you know your purpose. As one who governs power, it is your goal to assist the guests of this Velvet Room. That is all I have to say." Igor was not one to drag out a long conversation when one was not necessary. Similar to the Attendants of his creation, he had his own purpose to serve the guests as Philemon's main connection to them. The man with the long nose knew even the Attendants had the ability of becoming Persona-Users, and thus future guests of the Velvet Room aswell. They all had their own journey to embark upon aswell, but it was their job to understand this. Igor would not stop an Attendant that embarked on their own journey. He may had created the majority of the denizens within the Velvet Room, but he was no master of slaves. Their growth was just as important as the growth of the guests, in more than one way.

Chance would give a nod while receiving the Compendium. This meant she had become an official attendant to guide the guests and it was her duty to abide by this law. S/he had no intentions of leaving her master's side. With one final nod, she'd make her way to the "bar" and take a seat with a smile. Though the book was rather empty for the time being, she looked forward to filling it with many memories and battles. Oh, how exciting this would be! What would she do first? What skill should she go for? So many questions and no answers as of yet! Chance was like a blank sheet trying to experience a new world of possibility. Though gullible and ignorant, she was willing to learn what it took to supply the best care. Pulling the compendium into a hug, Chance swayed back and forth in her seat, ready for an interesting adventure ahead.
