Vincent's Awakening

After being dragged to see a game his father sponsored. Vincent left the stadium, running away again. His parents used him as a prize for his smarts. He felt used and when he wasn't used he was just another pest in their eyes. It's been a couple of weeks since he's moved in to the island of san malarus. He's met new and old friends, but in the back of his head he's had to deal with a dark little friend, Vincent didn't know why he was returning, not to mention the odd things that have been happening as well as some of his 'friends' acting strange, Nozi asks questions, Akina's knowledge that would extends even a ace detective, Trumora's behavior and the clues needle noggin spits out, The way Aki seemed with normal stuff and the way she created a blanket, The school covered in sand, the green star. His mind was growing dizzy from the thoughts he had collect in just a few weeks. He gritted his teeth. “I promise Ill figure out whats that city...no what these Islands are hiding behind their sugar coating. Hm?” at that moment his phone buzzed his mother was calling he hung up.

"Damnit! stupid parents." He walked deeper into the creepy parts. He sighed a bit, his chest area felt odd, must have been the jogging. He felt a shiver down his back. While he rubbed his arm.

He watched the area, barely no one was around it was scary even for him. as he panted. why was he panting? He was in shape he knew that. He shooked his head as he continued to walk forward.

As he walked around the darker parts of the old island, the purple mist seemed to grow around, much like the rumors that have been going around at the islands. it didn't disrupt his breathing, but it definitely felt like a presence was lurking among the mist. Where the mist was thicker, no one was in sight around the streets. It was as though it had become an entire ghost town. As he walked around, soft inaudible whispers sounded from either side of him, along with shadow-like objects appearing out of the corners of his eyes, though were he to look he would see nothing. It would not be too long before a voice began to sound in his head. It was a deep grunt, that definitely sounded human-like. "Ugh.........." the voice said in his mind. No one was near him, or so he thought, but where was the voice coming from? Who owned it, and what did they want to speak to the young man for?

He looked around, getting nervous while he listened to the voice. "Who's there?!" He stopped walking. "thi-this isnt funny do you know who I am? Im Vincent Bellarose.....Answer me!" He backward walked maybe it wasnt too late to see the foot ball game, or take the train off this island the problem was he couldnt see anything in this mist.

The voice simply did not answer, however, in a small moment, he would start to feel invisible arms tightening around his throat, as though someone hidden was strangling him. His air was slowly being cut off, and he could feel himself become faint by the second. There was a presence behind him, but it also seemed to feel like it came from in him, like something big had just broken out and begun to tear at him from the insides. The struggle made no sound from the mysterious assailant, but they continued their malefic attempt to suffocate the man..

He gasped at the feeling of hands on his throat while he stood in the middle of the mist. "W-wha-what on e-earth!?" He raised his hand to shove what ever was infront of him, but there was nothing. He closed one eye as gritted his teeth while he struggled, to breath, at this point he was going lose his life. He kicked forward, just hitting mist. "A-Ah..." His puplies turned white as he fainted from lack of air.

When the boy passed out, it seemed that everything was black, only contrary to what he expected, he woke up in an ally far away from where he was, as apparent by the mist considerably thinner. Nearby was a small letter and a bottle of what appeared to be pills. Within him he could sense that familiar dangerous presence from before, only in a subdued state.

As he fainted his mouth was wide open to gasp for what could be his last breath, something moved on his tongue and down his throat before he passed out. He slowly opened his eyes later to be in a alley, as he panted, in a cold sweat. And he was also feeling cold. He sat up, his hands around his throat. He was shaking, eyes shaking, was there a small tear around his left eye? there was! He bit his lips, he thought he was dead, a goner? He closed his eyes while he wiped off the tear on his eye, he liked to think of himself as a pretty tough guy. But to be choked by something he couldn't see, feel, only to hear a grunt. His heart was raising, his chest still hurts while he crawled against the wall trying to find his phone. It was gone, He didn't care much but it however he felt his soul get crushed, he could be dying or going through a mental breakdown and he didn't have anyway to find someone to help him. He coughed, Sliding down against the wall, his back leaning against the wall while he looked into the thinned out mist, he moved his hand a bit, as he felt a bottle. He looked down, it was a bottle of pills, and neatly on top of it was a letter. He moved forward, this was clearly for him. As he took the envelope...and opened it to see what it says his eyes, reading~

The note was written in legible handwriting, and it read the following:

"Those pills will protect you. You have awakened to a Persona, which is essentially your mind taken shape. It can fight for you, but you have to stay alive. Those pills will keep it from attacking you, I guess some Personas are like that, but they come with a weird side effect that seems to be different for many, so watch out for that. You see those weird tears around town right? They go to other worlds, and you can explore them and figure out what this mess is all about. I know it seems a lot to take in at once, but you have to trust me. This drug is everywhere, so you can go to any place around the slummy areas if you know them. Just get a job perhaps. If you want you are free to go live on your own, and if you wish to meet me, come to Standasen and speak to any gang member. Give them this note, and they'll tell you. But don't be pressured, it was just to make sure you lived through a death you couldn't stop. Good luck."

The note ended there, and all was silent. he was free to do what he willed, but for now, his power was under control, and he had these pills that would now keep him alive. All that was left, was the power he had gotten merely by chance; who would have thought it would have come from being attacked by it.

He panted as he dragged himself out the Alley. "I need to get help...n-no I need to know what just happened." he moved out the alley and ran holding the bottle as the pant of a warrior was heard in his head.
