Appearance: Blake stands at five eleven and around 190lbs. He is a muscular guy, sporting an athletic build. His hair is brown, wavy, and swept back, at medium length. He has dull blue eyes. He has a beard that is well groomed. His favorite outfit is a blue plaid button up and a gray vest. Jeans are a must, along with a belt. He wears brown boots to compliment his outfit.

Personality: Blake is first and foremost an open person, maybe a little too open. He won't hesitate to talk about his problems, but won't hesitate to talk about how well his day went. He is an active listener and likes to help others out. Those who get to know Blake personally start to notice how hollow he is on the inside. The caring exterior sometimes becomes overshadowed by a broken interior. While he's open about his problems, it's easy to tell that, deep down, they bother him, even keep him up at night.

—Description: Some of the most secretive clubs and bars in town have him on a special guest list. Well, not actually, but chances are, if there's a club that is kept "hush hush" from most people, he'll know about it in one way or another.

—Description: Being a detective is less jumping off of cars and more driving the cars. However, Blake stays in good shape. When he can, he makes a point to exercise. Swimming, running, playing sports, or dancing, he makes sure to work up a sweat at least once a day.

—Description: Legal fees, screaming matches, all a part of a messy breakup. Just because it lasted for a year doesn't mean it wasn't special. Old friends ask questions and it gets awkward. Not fun at all.

The Background

History: Blake's life was normal and had no consequence until very recently. Yes, he graduated from college in Criminal Justice. Yes, he quickly rose the ranks and became a detective, but none of that mattered compared the situation he is in, now.

It was out of nowhere. One moment, he was talking to his coworker and good friend, the next, they were making out as his wife (now ex-wife) entered the house. Maybe they were both tipsy, but Blake felt something that he didn't feel with his wife. He never felt that with any woman he dated in the past. The look on his ex-wife's face was the kicker. How hurt she was, he still feels horrible to this day. He thought the stories about coming out and discovering yourself was meant to be empowering, not terrible.

His friend stopped talking to him. Maybe it was to save himself, maybe he didn't feel it, but he doesn't talk to him, anymore. The divorce was and still is dramatic. He believes that if he holds on for a bit longer, just until the divorce is finalized, that he could pick up the pieces of his life.
