Why wasn't he attacking? Charles had already dealt enough damage to him, so why was Blaez still guarding? It was unnerving, really, and even made him feel doubts about continuing his assault... But Blaez also never responded to when he called for him, so that strategy was innefective. But then, what could he do? Charles stared at Blaez, looking for any irregularities or signs that would help lead him... Well, whatever was causing this was coming from inside of him, seeing as the mist poured out of Blaez's unsealed lips and his veins coursed with what appeared to be dark blood, at least on some places. Wait, his shoulder! Why was it leaking like that? Could it be something of importance? A pressure point of sorts?

When Charles hit the corrupting friend, he let out a cry of agony, and then stood forward. He didn't seem to change in any way, save for the doubling over. The veins on his body however seemed to glow, and grew stiffened. On the inside, the Primordial was definitely growing distressed, and Blaez could feel his body at the very least stabilizing. Though he had not gained full control. He still had this monster to deal with.

Charles' attack hit straight on! But he stil needed to be careful, so he took up a defensive stance and observed what would happen next.

As Charles defended himself, he would notice that the body of Blaez was starting to move again, as the veins suddenly lost their glow, and he began to move around, eyeing the android that was still around. He let out an angered growl, signalling that the spawn still seemed to have a hold on him. The strange marks on him were moving, seemingly healing any wounds he may have to a degree. He still looked staggered, but he was not out yet. It seemed that it was not as simple as he had thought. Meanwhile, inside, the original spawn hurled another ball of flame at Blaez, attempting to finish what they set out to do.

The Spawn was starting to screech more....it seemed that whatever happened on the outside, seemed to give him something else on the inside, like he just became even more vulnerable to something, becoming weaker....though, on the outside, the body still weakened did not go down just yet, and instead would summon a discolored version of Blaez's soulbound weapon and attempt to strike him.

It seemed that Blaez's attack hit the lucky strike, since it caused an undending cry of agony from the spawn, who fell over and faded away into a muddy goo. With its disappearance, the scenery around him seemed to vanish, and with it his vision. His consciousness was returning...but he could start to hear on the outside, screeches of a more hideous being signaled that this fight was not yet over....

Charles was knocked out and the fight wasn't over yet"God damn it..."He just wanted it to be over, but he wasn't getting away from way it that easily, right now his priority was making out of that alive with Charles, he would stand up and prepare himself to whatever was coming."This is annoying..."

When Blaez woke up, he would be back where he was, in the same path of the swamp. He could see his friend Charles on the ground, still unconscious, but still very much alive. He would see the markings and distortions on his body were gone, however near the two of them was an odd mass that felt very much like what was trying to fight him in his mind. Slowly, it grew a light, and then, claws broke out of it, and along with it a mangled tongue and glowing eyes that peered at Blaez. Most likely it was whatever was trying to take his body, did this mean these things could take other forms? There would be little time to think on it, as the creature slowly began to crawl to him, and the lantern-like extension on its tail began to glow, making the area around him look as though someone had turned off the lights, leaving the immediate area near him and Charles the only thing visible. Blaez was free of its control, but it looked like the monster wasn’t finished yet…
