"..." The detective took a small bite out of the energy bar. His jaws slowly chewing at the smooth peanut butter and chocolate flavored item. Honestly, Keda had no appetite this early morning, but he needed to keep his energy up. He could no longer sleep; the smell of burning velvet made him sick to his stomach, thus keeping him awake through the early hours of the night. He sat on the fire escape; back up against the wall while he watched the raising sun. However, the dark smog ascending from the recently burning building blocked out a great majority of the orange and purple sky around Keda. The young officer sighed and took another bite of the energy bar. Suddenly, he remembered he had made it through that hellish day. He also remembered the meeting to be had with this mysterious '???' character at the church in a few hours. "What events are to happen today. I cheated death once... I don't think I can do it again..." The hesitant Keda muttered to himself bringing up the mysterious application and reading the infamous Death-Mail. The events he read made his heartbeat faster and faster with fear. "Orlando... Military... Persona Users....Dead at the sense...? N-No... This can't be right." He lowered the phone and swallowed nervously. "I can stop this. Yeah, I can stop this. I just need to warn Orlando." Keda spoke to himself; unclipping the communication device from his waist and holding it mere inches away from his lips. "Orlando. You there? Come on man pick up, this is important..." Keda released the button and awaited some kind of answer...

For a few moments there would be static on the other line.. Suddenly there would be a voice, however, it could barely be recognized. "Ke- Zzz.. Ri-..Zzz.. Ba-Zzz.. go-zz..ie.." The walkie would suddenly cut short, as if the other end had either been destroyed or out of range of the first. Whoever was on the other side was attempting to pass a message, however.

"...Orlando, man. You're braking up!" Keda shouted; now becoming seriously concerned. He sprung to his feet and began pacing from side to side. "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck..." He exhaled a calming sigh before speaking into the device again. "Orlando where are you? You're in serious danger, man. Whatever you plan on doing don't do it. We're dealing with forces normal people couldn't dare to challenge yet alone understand." He paused; nothing but static and indecipherable words. "Come on! Answer me!"

All the man would hear from the other line would be static.. It seemed fate was against this one named Orlando today..

"I'm the only one..." Keda worked his way down the fire escape and landed on the pavement with a low pitch thump. "Just don't do anything stupid yet, Orlando. I'll be there soon..." The officer took off; dashing towards the infamous barricades to challenge the god of destiny yet again. But, how would the young detective fair this time around...?
