Appearance: Mae Iharu is a nineteen year old girl with waist long, strapped up usually in two, long, pigtails. Her hair is bleached, turned into a light shade of pink. Her eyes have the same color-tone as her natural hair, aka, red. She's very fond of hoodies, and almost all of her clothes come in white, grey and black, which really brings out the red in her hair. She's quite short, standing only a 5'3" tall (much to her dismay, but she's getting better about accepting her own shortcomings).

Personality: Mae is a free soul. She likes to take things as they come. Relaxed at most times, she can be quite dependable when needed, and she always looks out for her friends. Very social, Mae is often the one to make first contact with new people. To put it bluntly, Mae is a very caring individual. The most important thing for her is to have fun with friends.

Recently, due to the events of the Otherworldly Competition for Humanity, Mae's become a more humble and careful individual, who takes responsibility for what she says and does wholeheartedly. Everyone she's met up to now, plus working part time at the orphanage has really shaped her into the brave and kind individual she is today. She's much more mature than she used to be as well, taking anyone and everyone who needs her help under her wing. She stands by those who are too weak to protect themselves. Ever still the optimist, she prefers to look on the positive end of the spectrum, even moreso now than ever before, and works to improve herself as a person. She's quite proud of where she is right now, regardless if her friends and allies surpasses her in raw strength. In the end, she wants a future that brings joy to herself and those around her.

History: Mae grew up as an orphan at an orphanage in central Tokyo, where she spent most of her childhood. Her parents decided to leave her there because they were unable to support a child, so the staff of the orphanage has basically been her family for the vast majority of her life. At the age of 13, she was adopted by The famous singer Kinaku Iharu. Her parents never told the Orphanage Mae's surname at the time, so she decided to take on the same name as her Adoptive mother, Iharu. And due to this adoption, Mae grew very optimistic as a result. No matter how hopeless a situation is, there's always something positive about it.

Since her adoption, Mae has been enjoying life, taking it one step at a time ever since her adoption, making friends wherever she can. Two years after the adoption, Mae took it on herself to reunite with her real parents. Nobody she knows seem to be able to recall her parents names, which obviously complicated things. She's not given up, though. They are out there somewhere. And her search has now brought her to the Azores Region... She's now 19 years old, and now enrolling as a transfer student at Zela Academy.

Fast forward about two years into the future... Mae's just graduated from Zela Academy, and now works part time at an orphanage in San Malarus not too far away from the radio tower, where so much had gone down, two years ago. The girl has been working on two jobs at once, the first being the orphanage itself, and the second being her hobby. Once every week, she usually goes to some club, or bar and sings for a crowd, usually for entertainment, and thus happens to frequent the newly rebuilt Wave's Peak quite often as a direct result. She enjoys her time there, and she hasn't recieved any negative responses from anyone at the club thus far, so generally, it's a pleasant time for her.

There's one last thing that she still occupies herself with nowadays, and that's searching for her real parents. Yes, her search still hasn't ended, and she's confident that she'll find them soon enough... How soon remains to be seen, but Mae's determined to find them, regardless of what dangers she might have to go through... She had already gone through a lot since she got to Azores... So whatever she comes across on her search will probably not be as dangerous as the things she had done prior to this... or at least, that's what she hopes. You never know how a journey will end until the final step is taken...
