Nilo gasped and jumped around every other corner of the haunted house. He cringed at every laugh and jump scare, screaming a few times before blushing and ducking into the next terror zone. He hated this, cursing himself non stop until he dashed into a closed off room with out him knowing.

The room was dark, as was the entire haunter house, but this one more so. Nilo walked through the room before hearing a click, he quickly looked up and dropped to the ground, covering his face with his arms as an animatronic puppet fell from the roof and crashed onto him. Nilo yelled and ran out of the room, only to blindly run into the wall and fall back to the ground.

He groaned and brought his hand to his head, sighing in annoyance at his worthlessness and loose nerves. It took him a while to slow his heart beat as he stood back up, glancing through the door he just walked out of.

What was that? he thought to himself before entering the dark room again. Sighing as his bravery was already diminishing by the second.

"BOO!!!" Hiro snuck up behind the boy he was behind him for awhile, Hiro always walk slow and so did the kid in front of him so when the boy started looking tense he thought it might be funny to scare him

"Hey did i scare you now worry i'm not gonna hurt you" Hiro placed his palm on the boy's shoulder in reassurance that he isn't a bad guy, Hiro looked over to see what was making the boy uneasy

Hiro jumped a little when he saw it he was never a fan of puppets or anything that never moved and smiled, Hiro walked over to the puppet and mov- "HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE" "Jesus! stupid puppet" Hiro kicked the ugly thing out of his way.

Nilo shouted and jumped as Hiro yelled at him, falling back and obviously lividly angry now. He was sick and tired of this stupid place and especially with this dumb kid who had the moxy to scare him. He shook his head though, breathing hard as he tried to calm down. He moved his hand through his hair, sighing as the pressure inside of him disintegrated.

He held little emotion at Hiro's reassurance and little more as Hiro was scared by the puppet. Actually, why was this thing here? Nilo couldn't figure it out, simply looking skyward at the building. This was part of the same haunted house, but why was the door so hidden? And further more, why was the puppet in here? Nilo sighed and rolled his eyes, walking over to the puppet to investigate it.

"Why are you here...? Did the mean man hurt you?" he said with a laugh; both amused at the fact he was talking to the puppet and that it scared the fellow haunted house visitor. He looked up to Hiro, tilting his head to the side. "I hope you didn't break him... W-What if we get in trouble?" he asked a little scared again, not liking the thought of being thrown into circus jail.

The boy laughed a bit at Hiro when he jumped at the puppet"Sh-Shut up, it had the laugh of a jackal" Hiro pulled out his cell and used it as a flash light to make out the dark room.

The boy asked if they would get in trouble, the boy looked uneasy so Hiro rested his arm telling the boy that "Think about it the dump puppet already looked broken an it was in a dark room off the main road so that means this is a storage room there must be more of these thing down the trail so no worries"

Hiro patted the boys back and went back to looking around.

Nilo sighed as he was patted on the back, realizing he was probably being looked down upon, as per usual. He continued to look down at the odd puppet, feeling bad for it. If what Hiro said was true, then the poor thing was left alone in a dark room to rot. This made Nilo frown and go to pick up the small, mangled puppet, holding it up by its long arms.

"Can we take him them? He looks so lonely... I can put you in my room and I can fix you up." he said with assured words, more towards the puppet than to Hiro. He smiled at it and held it close to him, seeming very content with his plan at bringing the puppet home with him. Why was he so willing to bring a creepy puppet home? It was an odd thought, indeed, for Nilo to want the puppet but it reminded him of himself... Left alone to rot and die, being left by loved ones... Nilo decided he had to save the puppet from this terrible fate.

"My name is Nilo, and this is... Um... Puppet?" he said, turning to Hiro with the puppet in his arms. "We need to save Puppet, okay? If we leave him here, he'll just stay here until he dies! We can't let that happen... R-Right?" he said with a severe tone, set on saving the puppet with the person's help.

Hiro stayed quite while the boy talked to the puppet, the boy asked if Hiro would help him help the puppet weird request neither the less but the boy seem to serious"*sigh* listen its just a puppet it's not alive but if you wanna steal from a hunted house fine, but i'm pretty sure you'll get arrested for theft is all."

Hiro went back to looking around when he saw somthing in the back of the room a box, Hiro walked over the trash scattered around the room to get close, Hiro made is way to the box and and to find out that it was open.

There were pictures that looked like a child drew them anywhere else this would seem out of place but he was in a haunted house so it must of been for decoration, but in the bottom of the pictures was a knife it looked real to...

Hiro called over Nilo to show him the items in the box.

Nilo walked over to the box, peering in after Hiro. He would gasp quietly at the knife, looking down at the puppet then back at the weapon and picture. This scene obviously scared him; creepy atmosphere aside, this shouldn't be here. He looked to Hiro, seeming panicked again.

"W-Why is this here?" he asked sheepishly, glancing back at the entrance to the dark room. It was so out of the way, a black curtain blocked it as well as some one going out of the way to have a picture of a ghost on the out side. He didn't like this and held the puppet closer to him.

"W-We should leave... W-What if we get in trouble and they take Puppet away?" he said, the panic in his voice rising. Nilo was scared, terrified even. He stayed by Hiro's side regardless though, fearing if he left him, something bad would happen to him and Puppet. Why he felt this was foreign to him; he was never one to trust so easily, yet here he was, trusting yet another stranger.

"Yeah this this is weird, but we can't leave not now let's look around just a bit longer" Hiro had some questions and he wanted a answers also a free pass next time if this had some major dirt so he could black mail the owner to letting him in whenever.

"Lets investigate a bit more and starting with that Puppet" Hiro took the Puppet from Nilo and began to try to pull off the mask.

"H-Hey! Don't break him!" Nilo said, almost shouting, as he took the puppet back in his arms. Glaring up at Hiro angrily. He took a step back, seeming very unhappy with the boy now that he tried to hurt Puppet.

"Are you going to help me or not? There's no point in sticking around here." he said sternly, any polite composure now gone and replaced with an edgy, annoyed one. He wasn't happy with the boy, if he broke Puppet any more, how could he fix him then? He stayed quiet, a tense glare on his face as he awaited Hiro's reply.

"Christ dude listen i'm trying to find a serial number that way we can look up what model this is, anyways this room seems to go a bit further down you check the place out while i try to find a serial number." Hiro went back to examining the puppet for a clue.

Nilo seemed increasingly annoyed, dropping the pictures and knife and heading to leave the room. "Sense you're not going to help me, I'll do this myself... Don't come chasing me either, I don't feel like Puppet getting incarcerated because of your stupidity." he said venomously. He found the boy irritating, rude, and very self centered. If he wasn't going to help him save Puppet from his prison, then he'd have to do it himself.

He gave the boy one last annoyed look before dashing through the haunted house and eventually leaving the circus, albeit with a few confused look as he carried the odd puppet. He left with a sigh of relief, quickly heading home.
