A night of Music and Wonder [Open]

Just like each day, Seshou was alone by the entrance of his club, smiling foolishly. Some people looked at the ex-hobo in a funny way, none daring to approach him. Who knew what was going through their heads?, Perhaps they thought he was insane, perhaps that he was dangerous... But to Seshou, that didn't matter. In fact, he wasn't even aware that they were there, for he was too busy observing the sun going down to notice it.

As the world kept spinning round, the gentle red giant made contact with horizon, making the man's smile grow even wider. As much as he loved the heat of the sun, and the heavenly blue skies of the day, he couldn't help but to like the night better. Many dreaded the darkness of the unknown, but for Seshou the coming of the dusk meant a magical journey into the lands of wonder, where everything could happen, where prodigies straight from the One Thousand and One Nights were anything but impossible... Indeed they were dangerous, but only fools should be afraid of the dark hours.

And to top that, that night he had the honor of being the host of an exquisite company on celebration of his twentieth birthday.

Without procrastinating a second further, Seshou started with his labour, opening the local as he muttered a song that had gotten stuck on his head. However, the rhythm, the lyrics were so upbeat, that he wanted to dance~

And so did Seshou as he entered into his club to finish preparing the place, yet, it wasn't enough!, Louder and louder got his voice until he was singing from the top of his lungs as he danced, all meanwhile preparing all of the tables, the food and drinks for the incoming activity, that without a doubt would be very heavy this night. Nothing he could not handle though!

Seshou checked his clock, a record time!... And just what he needed, for people had just begun to arrive!

One after another, the place got more and more crowded as the most extravagant and varied group entered through the door, from kids that were barely 15 to old men that were probably above 60 years old already, their skins were from the darkest black to the eery unearthly white, passing through all shades of colors. Their ethnicities were not a single bit less diverse.... And the best of all, each carried an instrument. That was the thing about living on the streets, you met a lot of different people that loved music.

However, he spotted someone in the group that he did not know!, Eager like a dog seeing his owner return home, he was soon all over the poor individual. "Hi there~!, My name's Seshou, owner of the Ten of Cups music club at your service!", he said with a radiating smile, "What's your name, young one?", he said, calming down a little a he waited for the answer.

Crashing parties wasn't Genji's style, but when he heard that some of the delinquents of Kizuna were checking out this new club; Genji got curious. Genji would "crash" the party. It was the opening of the club, so it's not like Genji was there to destroy it or anything. He just wasn't there for the right reasons. He heard of the club all day long. It was called the Ten of Cups Music Club. Genji wondered what the name actually meant, but that wasn't what concerned him the most at the time.

His day was pretty normal before then. He still had work that day, but he could easily go after work. While at work, Genji couldn't keep the club out of his mind. Over and over again, he would come up with possibilities. Maybe the club wasn't so bad. Maybe it was. Genji's impatience was showing at working at the pool. His foot continuously tapped against the guard tower the whole time. He also wasn't as talkative as he usually was. If the club was as bad as he was stressing out to be, then he would have to do something. But he would at least give the club a chance.

After work, Genji quickly went home and showered. He would at least want to look good and presentable if he would go out clubbing. It wasn't something he did often, but he didn't want to look suspicious to any delinquents that might possibly be there. He decided what to dress in. He decided for a gray button up, unbuttoned all of the way. He wore a black V-neck undershirt and darker jeans. He wore gray sneakers to match. He was ready to go clubbing, even though he wasn't there to do that.

When Genji walked into the club, he realized that he was one of the few people that didn't have an instrument. He was embarrassed, but there were a few others as well, so it wasn't all too bad. The place wasn't as bad as Genji originally thought. The club was a nice place to be, the atmosphere was fun, the people were pretty nice and into music. The music played at the club was also pretty great as well. He found himself actually dancing a little to the music. It wasn't a full dance, but it was nice enough to be considered a part of the party, rather than a wall flower.

It was a little while after that when Genji was confronted by a man who looked like a hobo. He was told that he was the owner of the club and his name was Seshou. Genji smiled at the hobo looking man who called him a young one. Genji was a little confused, but laughed it off, saying, "I don't think you're that much older than me, but my name's Kano Genji. It's nice to meet you, Seshou-san. You have a great club here, I'm not usually into clubbing, but I feel right at home here." Genji looked at the man who was the owner of the club, hoping to get a little more background on the club, somewhat forgetting as to why he was there.

"Uh-oh...", said Seshou when Genji pointed out that he wasn't much older than him. For a moment, Seshou remained in a confused silence as he looked up to the ceiling and lightly tugged at his beanie before bursting in laughter, "Well, it seems that I'm getting way to old up the stairs then!, Anyways, it's a pleasure to meet you Genji!", the young man amicably put a hand on his shoulders as he leaded him to a table "I'm glad you feel that way, after all, my customers are my family!, Please, take a seat, the first drink is on the house", he informed as the menu was handled to Genji.

Genji loved the feel that this club gave. He almost forgot what he was coming here for. But he still remembered. He wanted to know what this club was like. If there were delinquents coming here, there had to be a reason. Genji would continue his undercover mission and sit down. He would get some info from the menu to see what kind of club this is, but the owner seemed so friendly... It was a large conflict in his head that made his mind spin in circles. He needed to sit down soon, he needed a drink, too.

"I'll start out with some tea, if you don't mind. Thanks for having it on the house. I really like it here. Everyone is so friendly." Genji would settle down a bit, now that he wasn't on the dance floor and had a drink coming to him. It seemed that the delinquents that Genji was following wasn't causing much trouble as well. This seemed like a calm place where everyone could have fun.

After looking at the menu, checking for alcoholic drinks, Genji would ask the owner, "How did you get to own a club like this? It's a really cool place, but I wonder how you actually got to get this whole club up and running." Genji was interested in how this club got up and running, even if it was a place that he didn't want to have students be associated with, but the menu would be the key to Genji's judgment.
