Two sides, fighting to see simply who could win? That is how a fight, a war, worked, and it was why she was made, but she had never thought of it as being a game, “So fighting is a game to see who can overcome their opponent.” Her creators had never explained to her just what a war or fighting was, since she wasn’t fit to go into the field because of her glitch. But now it was clear to her. She still didn’t understand why, but her goal for the moment was to win. Failing was not an option.

She picked up another snowball and wound back her arm. She focused her sights on Kahn and brought her arm forward. The projectile was released with her full force this time, straight at his chest. If he had paid enough attention to her pulling back her arm, he wouldn’t have trouble avoiding the launched object. The actual release had taken too long to not avoid it if he was paying any attention. If he did avoid it, the snowball would hit a tree behind him, and it would be clear just how hard she had thrown the thing.

"Well, this is a game for fun, it's not a real fight. This is a game which means it is all about having fun with friends or strangers." He would reply before noticing her crank her arm back with a snowball at the ready. He jumped to the side right as she launched it, and watched the snowball hit a tree behind him. Uhhh...that snowball didn't just fall a part...it exploded...into tiny chunks. Was she a softball player or something...no that can't be right. She didn't have the right kind of wind up for a softball player.

After the brief moment he examined what happened to the snowball, he would look back to her,"Remind me not to piss you off. I'd rather not be on the receiving side of one of your punches if that is how hard you throw a snowball." He would comment before returning fire with one of his own snowballs. Afterwards, he would wait to see where and when she would throw. After all he would rather not get hit by one of her snowballs, she had a cannon for arm! After dodging her next throw he would back track to the tree behind him, intent on using it for cover. Anything that he could put between him and her would be nice.

“Sorry, Mr. Kahn. I will try and remember that this is just a game.” She tried to move out of the way, but ended up taking the snowball to her arm. She still didn’t completely understand what was going on here, but she would try to win. How she could tell if she won was a mystery to her though. No matter what though, she doubted that a human could take her on and last until the very end. There were benefits to being a robot, even if she couldn’t eat. She picked up another ball of snow, noticing him move away. She dropped the snowball and walked over to him, “What are you doing?”

Kahn had a little victory smile as he hit her in the arm with the snowball, but when she suddenly dropped the snowball he stopped moving back. Conch approached him, and asked what he was doing. He figured it would have been rather obvious...trying to find better cover. Oh well, she might have misinterpreted his actions. "What am I doing? Seeking cover. After all the entire point is not to get hit by a snowball right? So by putting something like a tree between you and I, I remain safe and I am able to choose my moment to strike." He would explain to Conch before pausing for a moment, and asking.

"What did you think I was trying to get away? Why would you think that? We just met, and that would be rude of me."

“Is that so?” She went up to the tree and placed her hand on it, “So we can use the environment as cover?” That meant that she could also use it for other things. Since he was already there, she didn’t need to corner him. She would wind back her fist and punch the tree as hard as she could. It wasn’t enough to break through the trunk or even dent it, but it was enough to send a vibration up the spine. If she were successful, whatever snow was still holding on up there would inevitably fall down on top of them both. The snow didn’t bother her, since she could feel the cold of it, but it could prove an annoyance to Kahn. After she had done this, she would look at him, “I didn’t think you would run. I was just unsure what to think. How do you like the battle anyway?”

Kahn nodded to answer Conch's question, watching her place a hand on the tree."Yes, it's like a mock battle, so anything that helps you is fair game. Well as long as you don't hurt the people you are playing with, because that would be really bad." He would add, judging from her previous behavior the less grey area he left the better she would perform. However, he was curious as to why she was winding up her fist like that, and he opened his mouth to stop her when she struck the tree.

The red haired young man saw the tree vibrate, and only when he began to look up did he piece together what she was doing. He felt something land on him, and cover his shoulders, hair, and neck. It was rather cold, and he quickly tried to shake it off. Unfortunately, some slid down his jacket, causing him to straighten up more than he was. He shook his body, and after a few moments he felt the last bit of snow fall from under his jacket. "Well...I enjoyed it, up until this point. Cause now I'm a bit cold. Other than that it was quite fun, but it was your first snowball fight. What did you think?"

“Sorry about that. I thought it would be the best way to win. It is fair game, after all.” She brushed the snow off of her before it could melt and mess with her more delicate circuitry. When her asked for her opinion of the snowball fight, she would nod and give a small smile, “It was quite fun. Thank you for teaching me.” She would then remember how long she had been standing here, having a mock battle with him. It was far too much time. She would have to still go out and observe people for the rest of the day. She gave a quick bow to Kahn, “May we see each other again later.” With that, she would take off toward another city. Which one? She had no clue.

"It's fine...and I guess it is fair game." He would reply, and it was technically fair game. She just had to hit him with snow, no more, and no less. Granted, she did so indirectly, and perhaps overdid it as Kahn might have to hurry up to the dorm if he wanted to avoid getting a cold or some other nasty disease that would not do him any good. Shannon thanked him for the fight, and for teaching her the rules, "No problem, but thanks for being willing to play on such short notice." He would reply, and return the bow. He waved her goodbye, before making his way to the dorm. What he wanted right now was some hot chocolate, and fresh clothes. Two things that he could easily get at the dorm.
