Appearance:

Hyacinth stands at the towering height of 5 feet exactly. Yeah, she ain’t that tall and only ways approximately 125 pounds. Making her light for her height. She is has a fit body that was gained simply from being active and working hard. She isn’t buff or super strong, but she doesn’t need to be when she has her mind to compensate for that. She is a creature of mystery wearing a long dress jacket that buttons down the front. It is black in color and has gold buttons. Following this is her black knee high boots also decorated with gold buttons on it. She has blue colored hair that is usually in a lets fly wild. This strange blue appears under her eyes and on radiates within her eyes that are almost always alert and focus. Her tail is also made of this strange blue color substance that feels and acts like fur, but due to the unnaturalness of it all, it may be electronic energy. No one is quite sure yet.

Personality: Snow is a mysterious being to say the least. She seems friendly and approachable able to chat and interact with whoever she happens to run across without a hitch. She is playful and mischievous, not seeming to mind pulling people into trouble with her. She is curious, intelligent and always finding new ways to keep herself entertained. She loves the outdoors, hunting, and the company of a few good friends.

However, she is a cat in the end as such has the negative traits of a cat. She can be lazy and rebellious when she doesn’t want to do something. She is confident and will say what she feels like regardless of the consequences. As a result of this, she can appear to be arrogant and rude. She is rough around the edges and isn’t afraid to get into a fight or finish ones others have started with her. She doesn’t trust too easily due to her rough life and making friends for her is often hard due to the fact that most just don’t get her behavior or oddness. She values alone time and doesn’t mind telling someone off for disturbing her peace. Outside of this she pretty much goes with the flow of life doing as she pleases and living the best way she can.

—Description: Perhaps it is because she is a medic that she loves life so and seeks to do whatever it takes to keep something living unless it is for a job or she has no choice in killing said thing. This makes her a very compassionate person.

—Strength Name: Photographic Memory
—Description: Due to having a mind that captures every detail there is about a place, person or thing, Hyacinth has the uncanny ability to draw and create pieces of art that mimic things she has seen with striking resemblance to the original.

—Description: Being a cat like being means she has a keen sense of smell, taste, hearing, touch, and sight (even in the dark). As a result she is a great huntress of both live pray and plants alike. On top of this she works hard in her garden to keep fresh veggies and fruits on the table versus spending money in the market for such things.

—Description: Acorbatic and quick on her feet, Hyacinth is a hard one to hit and catch making her lucky to some. +10% to luck.

—Description: Hyacinth does not do well with physical attacks as a result her dex attacks do 10% less damage than most when she uses them. As a result she has the tendency to use his mind over brute strength to survive in the world.

—Description: This is a beautiful thing, but also a curse. This means that Hyacinth will not kill unless necessary and she has a habit of taking what is dying and using whatever is at her disposal to keep the thing alive often turning said thing into something rather bizarre and often times dangerous much to the displeasure and distress of those close to the saved thing or the saved thing itself.

—Weakness Name: Too Much Memory
—Description: Due to having a photographic memory, Hyacinth cannot forget things she sees. As a result, she has some scarring memories she wishes she could erase and unsee, but just cannot as a result she has a hidden collection of dark art and other material she uses to keep herself sane.

—Weakness Name: Sensory Overload
—Description: Due to having high senses, Hyacinth has to be careful to not expose herself to too many things that can over stimulate her senses. When exposed to over stimulation, the ca can become dizzy, confused, and even sick from the headache such things cause.

—Description: While Hyacinth is quick on her feet, if she is successfully struck by a physical skill, they do +10% more damage to her than it does a normal person.

Weapon Name: The Cards of Balance
Weapon Description: A Deck of cards that alternate between the colors of white and black. These strange cards are decorated with pictures of things that are dead (the white ones) in black and red and things that are alive (the black ones) in white and turquoise. The images of these cards seem to change at a whim and whispers always come from these cards that float around Hyacinth when she is on the battlefield. She attacks by sending these cards at the enemy or shifting them into a shield when she needs to block. Being made out of shadow, machinery and organic material these strange cards are hard to break. These cards are the size of a regular playing cards and the deck consist of approximately 52, but the exact number seems to increase or decrease depending on what action she is performing.

Side-Arm Name: Black Ivory
Side-Arm Description: A pure black gun with veins of ivory running through it and a strange skull with flower patterns dangling from a chain on the end. It is a three barrel shotgun that has a 24” long barrel and cracks open to load ammo into it. It is unknow where such a gun came from, but it must’ve came from out of of something special since the cat seems to love this custom made gun.
Side-Arm Attack Type: Gun
Side-Arm Style: Revolver - Single Shot - Accuracy is increased by 20%. Consumes only one type of ammo per use. Can shoot only one enemy at a time.

The Background

History: This all started with a little girl named Hyacinth who was bound at a young age to a shadow named Snow. While the pair did manage to live into their teen years the connection between the two began to corrode and in turn made the one called Snow sick. Despite many efforts to save the shadow nothing worked and his body began to quickly deteriate. Not wanting to lose her other half, the girl decided to use her body to house the young man.

While the scientist advised against this due to the fact that the process could kill both, Hyacinth went on with the process. The process was painful, but somehow the girl survived and the fusing of shadow and human seemed successful; however, 2 months later the young lady fell to the same illness as Snow. Determine to figure out how to keep the girl alive, the scientist ran many experiments trying to find out the best body combination to keep the girl and the shadow alive. They searched high and low until they had finally reached their end.

With no hope in sight, the group was thinking of pulling the plug on the girl, but that is when Junction came and while it pulled them from their home along with the girl, it gave the scientists one last chance to save the girl. After much digging, the scientists met a strange creature in the city that specialized in a thing called splicing and after chatting they decided to put the girl through said splicing.

Through a combination of a willing subject (a humanoid feline) and some work with machinery, the scientists and the creature created a body of flesh and metal to place the girl and her shadow in. With the experiment completed the scientists waited for the girl to wake up and when she did, she was better than ever. She took to her animal like form easily enough and over time, the three personalities within meddled into one creating the strange, confident, and at times sassy creature of the present.

She lived in the Slums with the scientists, but did not wish to stay in this place where so many struggled, including herself. To improve life for herself, her family, and those around her, the young woman dug into business and marketing self-teaching and training herself to be a merchant. It took her 3 years to finally open a shop and another year to get it stabilized to generate enough income to help support her family and give her the money needed to move from the Slums to a spot in the Commercial Ward.

It was here that she got lucky to have obtain an roommate that was willing to split the cost with her. Settling into her new life style as an independent shopkeeper with a place of her own, Hyacinth has been working on adapting to her new roommate and lifestyle in the strange world that is Junction.
