| Damien knelt on the trash’s chest as he leaned in. He was tired of fighting all these punks, so he wanted to drive the message home. “Listen, you bastard. The name’s Damien. I’m getting real sick of kicking your asses, so I’m only gonna say this one more time. I’ll be comin’ around every now and then to ask about Anya Satoshi, who disappeared around this area. So, for your own safety: stop. Attacking. Me. My patience is empty, and next time, I’m not going to be leaving you much. As they say: dead men tell no tales.” He snarled. “Now, is a demonstration necessary, or are we cool?” The man nodded frantically, too frightened to make a sound. “Good! I’m glad that’s settled, then. I look forward to future talks. Tell your friends.” Damien said off-handedly as he stood up and began to walk away.
Rubbing his sore knuckles, Damien made his way to the Nadashiki Nightclub on a whim. It was wonderful there; they didn’t give a damn about age, or even card, so Damien didn’t even have to lie to get it. It was a refreshing experience- Damien was already a regular there. Stopping to buy an energy drink on the way- Damn. I’m really getting addicted to these things, aren’t I? Gonna shove one of these down Akira’s throat, see how much he likes them- Damien continued on his merry way, double checking that he was at least presentable. Carding or not, there was no way in hell they would let him in if they saw blood on his clothes- especially if it wasn’t his.
Ready for a night of relaxation- if not rest- Damien felt his lips curl into a smile as the familiar booming bass echoed across the streets and into his ear. He actually found himself flowing into a group of kids no older than himself, presumably heading for the Nightclub for the same reason. In fact, as evidenced by their constant peeks back at him and general fidgety demeanor, Damien knew they were from Kizuna Academy, and frightened that the infamous Discipline Committee enforcer was in their midst. Desperately fighting the urge to freak them out, Damien blended into the crowd, and soon the group became more relaxed, figuring that the enforcer was on his day off or something. A few were probably scheming how to bribe the ‘obviously corrupted’ enforcer. Damien sincerely looked forward to it. Proving them wrong would be oh so fun.
As the group approached the front door, it grew more excited and animated, like a snake approaching its prey. Finally the first of them had made it inside, and the back surged forward, pushing desperately to get in before they shut down the place for the night. Since he wasn't so frightened of being kicked out, Damien walked far more slowly than the others, the sea of bodies slowly flowing around him like a river, until he found himself near the back. Yawning slightly, Damien caught the eye of Takashi the bouncer, and gave him a small nod and a smile. Takashi responded in kind as he slowly worked his way through the crowd, okaying them one by one. Really, those guys have one of the easiest jobs ever. I should become a bouncer here- they never do anything, anyways. Damien thought mirthfully as he looked around for something to entertain him in the meanwhile, his roving eyes looking for anything of interest. | |
