Not really bothering to try and help much in the search for the scent, I'd watch Mullet Mutt as he sniffed the air and slowly seemed to narrow in on the scent. Wasn't like I was gonna be much help even if I did try to help out, my nose is designed to sniff out the will of people, sure I can smell other things but right now the reeking stench of will that came off of red and fluffy wasn't something my nose could bypass easily. God that sounded disturbing if you took that wrong, whatever, least I didn't say it out loud. Either way it seemed ol' Mullet Mutt managed to figure out where the scent was coming from after all, though... "I mean, I wont lie to ya, I can definitely smell it a lot more 'round here. Though why would the flower be up in a tree? That ain't where flowers usually grow. S'pose this is some alien world where it could be different but still seems odd to me." Rattlin' my brain a bit, I tried of why in the hell the smell of the flower was way up in a place like that... Though, I mean the flower wasn't necessarily the only thing that smelt like honey. But what smelt like honey that was... Up high... In a... Ah, shit.
"Ya know, ya might wanna reconsider climbin' until we know exactly what's up the--." As if it was fucking listening to me, a giant fuck off buzzard made itself shown out of the hole of the tree. "... Yeah I'd get down if I were you. Aheh." I mean at first I was jus' hoping the over grown thing wouldn't pay us much mind if we weren't tryin' to actively get up to its home, though there was something odd about it that sent a sharp stabbing pain through shooting through my mind. I'd wince backwards, dropping lower on my front paws as I forced my eyes shut and lowered my ears, trying the absolute hardest I could not to make some pathetic sound of discomfort alongside the clear physical reaction I was already displaying. Arghh... It felt like I was being shocked with a thousand volts despite the fact the stupid collar didn't seem to be on at all. What was this? Words and thoughts invaded my head and as quickly as it had appeared, the pain would cease.
"Mother. Fucker." Shaking my head off and standing up into a defensive stance, I'd raise my head to look up at the stupid fat buzzard in the sky that seemed to still be coming their way. My light green eyes would seem to become slowly brighter and brighter. "Were that your fuckin' doing ya fat ugly freak'a nature? Like fuckin' with peoples heads do ya? Well how about I fuck with yours!" Without really thinking about what I was doing, my eyes would flash as I tried to pierce into the things mind, the stupid thing had enough will to stop me from taking it over. Though I wasn't giving up regardless, I managed to find a weakness, I found my way in. Even if I can't possess him I'll mess him up real good mentally.

Yeowch. Well, guess bees live in trees too. Though man, I wouldn’t have though actual honey to smell as strong as that. It’s normally a lot more mild. Bleh, well, guess that’s what you get in alien worlds. Weirdness all around. Speakin’ of which, that damn monster bee ended up surprising me enough so that I let go of the tree and fell on my butt. Not nice. With a growl, I’d rub my face as I tried to gather my wits from the sudden attack outta nowehere. Tch, the hell was this thing anyway? Not to mention, now my head was hurtin’ on top of my ass being mildly busted, which I definitely didn’t appreciate. Grr. With an unhappy grumble, I’d do my best to scramble myself onto my feet again, despite the annoying pain and pressure, squinting at this huge ass buzzer. Yep, monster bees and honey alright.
Not really sure what to do about this fucker, I’d try to aim at it with my fake gun at first, only to realize that was kinda useless, and that a bug wouldn’t think of it as a threat anyway. Uh, probably. Can’t even tell how sentient this thing is. Still, some part of me compelled me to attempt it anyway, which to my surprise resulted in a burst of reddish smoke, blinding me for a few moments before I found myself on top of a silvery motorbike which appeared outta nowhere. Well, all this magic stuff was pretty rad, gotta say. I was probably a lil late to the party based on my black companion seemingly getting’ pretty mad at the buzzer. Whoops. Time to try ‘n get some work done though. With a smirk, I’d rev up a bit and make a drift to brake in front of my companion, letting the sparks coming off the wheels at the abrupt stop shower the annoying bee…while kind of taking the zap originally aimed at the lil one. “Ouch, that bug needs to chill.”

The game's not lost until you give up after all. In combat, if Grex misses an attack, next turn he gains a 15% damage boost against the enemy he had missed before. —Strength Name: Swift Cop (+10% Luck) —Description: To be a good hunter and a successful cop, you can hardly be a couch potato. Grex has trained his reflexes quite well over the time he has spent as a test subject in his homeworld, as well as during his time working as a cop in Junction. He's certainly capable of reacting fast when need be.
—Racial Strength Name: Psycho Howl —Description: With Grex's main original purpose to be a smart and efficient predator, he was created to have a special ability that would allow him to immobilize and catch his targets faster than any normal hunter. Grex can utilize a special type of a howl that lets out sounds which have the capability to paralyze other being's nerve endings and connections for a brief amount of time (about 7 seconds), causing them to most likely fall down and be unable to properly move and run away from him. This can be countered if one knows about it and plugs their ears properly before it happens, or if there is a barrier such as a wall at least 30 cm thick between them without an opening for the sound to get around. In combat, using this ability allows Grex to cast a skill that functions akin to what Static Shock does. It is an AoE skill which has a 30% chance to cause an ailment which makes the next physical attack against said enemy a guaranteed Crit due to paralyzing them and making them easier to hit hard. This can only be used once per battle, and costs 12 SP to do so.
—Weakness Name: Defense Opening —Description: While a bit of a pain is all swell, Grex's body doesn't take the best to repeated harm happening in a short period of time, causing him to feel the hits more when they come in quick succession instead of being more spaced out. Looks like there are some kinks the lab guys forgot to straighten out. In combat, if Grex gets hit twice in a row with a single target attack, he takes 15% extra damage from the second one.
—Weakness Name: Spiritual Ineptitude (-10% SP) —Description: When it comes to genetic make-up, Grex's body is a bit of a mess, resulting in him having a harder time harnessing the energy which would normally allow him to cast magical skills.
—Racial Weakness Name: DNA Rebound —Description: Grex's DNA can be slightly unstable at times, causing him various uncalled for troubles. Foreign forces invading his body appear to weaken him, and cause him to struggle. When Grex is under the effects of any sort of ailment, he automatically takes 20% more damage from attacks that land on him for as long as the ailment lasts or until it is cured. Also, if Grex uses his Psycho Howl ability and fails to land it on any enemy, it affects himself instead.

"Where the hell'dya get that from?" I'd question, my concentration being broken as Mullet Mutt suddenly drove and parked in front of me on some form of motorbike. I woulda complained more, but I'd already managed to screw over the bug and the guy did just take that bolt of lightning for me... Which personally the fact this stupid insect was shooting sparks of electricity was quite possibly the worst thing I could imagine it doing. Grrr... I'd twitch at the thought. I wasn't going to let some other inferior pest shock me in the same way I've suffered for all my life. I felt a strange sensation envelope my entire body as the dark energy that formed my body split and twisted before an entire section of it split off to form a dark energy ball that I fired straight at the things face.
"I'm going to share this feeling of splitting apart with you. See how you like it..."

"Heh, I have no idea. But it seems cool, so I ain't complainin'." It was a strange thing, yeah, but maybe we'd get some explanations in time. Once this buzzkill wasn't tryin' to tear us apart that is. It was being might annoyin', that's for sure. I'd smirk at my companion momentarily. "Nice stuff bro." Err, whatever that dark shadowy stuff was. Either way, since this annoying buzz somehow dodged my attempt last time, I'd try to shower it with some stabby sparks again, hoping it wouldn't get away again...
