Part/Full Time Job: JPD Technological Crime Division Specialist (Speciality: Disabling of Non-Sentient technological threats).

His huge bulk and scary demeanor has caused more than one criminal to fear him, especially when combined with his deadly power to disable electronic devices at will. However, anyone that knows him has nothing to fear…
He wears the mask to cover his face for reasons that no one but him and his immediate superior knows.
Personality: (At least a paragraph)
If you're a criminal, Demus is your worse nightmare to run into. Nothing screams "Oh Crap." like a guy with Demus's looks, relentless attitude when it comes down to hunting down a criminal, and brutal efficiency in dealing with them.
The way he can disable all their tech doesn't hurt either.
On the other hand, his fellow law enforcers treat him with a much less terrified attitude, knowing that he's on their side (Though that doesn't stop the occasional new recruit from freaking out). Even if they are rather annoyed at times with his overwhelming tendency to follow everything by protocol, and quote the JPD's officer's handbook to them like it was his religion (and it probably might be).
Truthfully, though? Demus doesn't mind either. What he does mind though is how the average citizen tends to view him with fear and apprehension, meaning that collecting any kind of witness statements is difficult for him, to say the least. He's the sort of cop that's just as home at the desk doing paperwork as the sort that chases down rogue criminals. He always takes the latest night shifts that tend to be during the graveyard hours so that his organic comrades can get some rest in the meantime.
Truly a model officer.
However, beneath the mask of a model lawman lies a much more sensitive soul. In his spare time, Glitch enjoys listening to classical music, particularly "The Empyrean Suite" a classic piece from his culture. He also collects books as well, and can often be found pursuing classical texts on law enforcement history. The pride and joy of his collection is a datapad containing a first edition copy of the memoir of the revolutionary that changed his world.

—Description: A ability that Demus was born with that made him as an ‘outlier’ of society, Demus is able to shut down any non-sentient electronic device at will with his thoughts, however, the drawback is that he feels pain as a result. The ability is not fully understood as of yet, but it is theorized this ability is caused by a sort of psychokinesis that he possesses due to the ability being triggered by thought, as his brain activity (particularly the parts associated with psychokinetic abilities) flares when he uses his power. As a result, he can affect machinery via shutting it down (at the DM's Discretion).

—Description: In exchange for all the immense power his gift gives him, he feels pain every time he uses it. The bigger the electronic device (and/or the more he disables at once), the more pain he feels. It’s theorized that this is because of his psychokinesis producing a type of psychosomatic feedback that makes the response to using it to his body translate it as pain, even possibly death if he’s pushed too far. This translates to a loss in HP (To be decided by the DM).
