**ALERT!** After a rather eventful evening at Maksim's Party, three teenagers seems to have gone missing. The doors of Vault Olympia have been breached due to a to this day unknown assailant, who sabotaged the doors locking systems, allowing demons to make entry. Thanks to the excellent defensive capabilities of the Vault's Security drones, the Attack was put to an end, and the invading monsters fled to the outside. Right now, the Doors of Vault Olympia are currently open, allowing any survivors of the fall to seek shelter within the Vault's safe halls. What Vault Security officials think of this development remains unclear as the Chief of Police and Security of Olympia refused to leave a comment. This is Rianara, of Olympia news, signing out.

The site is entering a new era as our team of mods works tirelessly on updating old and obsolete information threads and links. Over the Summer, we aim to make many changes to the forum, including writing a comprehensive beginners' guide to help new players accommodate to the combat and other rp systems in place here.

Shadow's Arcana: The Star

True Form Appearance:
Andrew McCaghren's True Form Primarina_by_ground_lion-damk7az
When Andrew transforms into his True Self, he becomes a feminine creature resembling a cross between a mermaid and a sea lion with white fur, blue scales, light blue long flowing hair and several frillish adornments. In his regular position of leaning on his belly and flippers, he reaches a height of 1.8 meters (71 inches), while the complete length of his body reaches 2.6 meters (142 inches), with the whole thing weighing in at 50 kilograms (110 pounds). In this form he executes physical attacks by using his long hair as a whip, and he movilizes by swimming through the air a few feet above the ground.

Form Background: The marine-like biology of this form represents Andrew's ties to water and the sea as a result of his family heritage and his swimming talentl. The femininity of this form is symbolic to Andrew's traditionally feminine interests and personality, and the frillish adornments that cover it which lightly resemble the outfit of an opera singer represent his passion for singing.

Strengths: Ice/Bufu, Wind/Garu

Weaknesses: Earth/Tera, Gun

Passive Boosts: +15% to Ice/Bufu Skills (Arcana) and Wind/Garu skills (Strength)

Shadow Skill List:

Skill 1: Hindering Gust | 10% (20% with single target skills) chance of inflicting a wind based ailment with each Garu skill used. Not effective against opponents that are strong/block/ etc Wind. Adds 20% chance of miss towards the opponent's next attack. In PvS this translates to a lower visibility thanks to wind in someone's eyes, and can cause aiming problems. Effects do not stack. | Passive | Tier 1
Skill 2: Garula | Inflicts a moderate amount of Wind damage to one enemy. | 6 SP | Tier 2
Skill 3: Mabufula | Inflicts a moderate amount of Ice damage to all enemies. | 12 SP | Tier 2
Skill 4: Invigorate 2 | Recovers 5 SP on each user turn | Passive | Tier 2
Skill 5: Ice Amp | Increases Ice damage output 50% | Passive | Tier 3
Skill 6: Mind Charge | The next Fire, Ice, Electrical, Wind, Earth, or Almighty magic attack will be 2.5 times greater in power. | 15 SP | Tier 3
Skill 7: Spell Master | Halves the SP cost for all magic skills. | Passive | Tier 4
Skill 8: Resist Tera | Resist Earth based skills. | Passive | Tier 4



Special Ability:

Ability Name: Shadow Frenzy
Description: The Shadow Selves have a special ability called the "Shadow Frenzy" allowing them to cast skills at half the price, and link Tier skills like a chain. For Example: If a Shadow Self were to go into a Frenzy, they could cast a Tier 1 skill and immediately follow that Tier 1 skill with a Tier 2 skill in the same post. The only requirement is that the skills being chained must be the same type, such as Garu to Garula, or Magaru to Magarula. Also you can only link up to three skills total. This Shadow Frenzy only lasts for three (3) turns, and once it ends it can not be used again the entire topic and all following skills will be weaker by 50% (unless a special item is used).

Soul Skill Name: Sub-zero
Tier: Tier 1
Cost: Passive
Type of Damage: Passive
Description: All of Andrew's ice type attacks have a small chance of partially freezing his enemies' bodies (20% for single-target, 10% for AoE) and thusly making them more fragile, making the next physical attack against them a guaranteed critical hit. This effect wears off at the end of the enemy's next turn or if the same enemy is hit by a fire skill before then, and it does not apply to enemies who are resistant/invulnerable to ice.

The skill does not get stronger due to Frenzy. It can only be boosted by Arcana boosts. Once more the elemental ailment is only going to last a single turn.
