Appearance: 5’11 159 lb. Flynn has unkempt, black curly hair that he refuses to stylize or get cut and he has dark brown eyes that almost appear black. When he is out in public he tends to wear semi-formal clothing, usually sporting a dress shirt, pants, and dress shoes all in black or white. He always tops off his attire with a flat-cap. When he is not in public he wears more casual clothing articles, things like t-shirts and shorts. His eyes have a sad look to them, conflicting with the optimistic and upbeat vibe he gives off.
Alternate Appearance: Flynn wears a uniform that a member of a marching band would wear and all its accessories including white gloves and black gauntlets. His jacket also fits the scheme; the left side being white and the right side being black, split diagonally from his right shoulder to the left side of his hip. He has a half black, half white cape coming off the right side of his shoulder that goes down to his lower back. The bibbers below his jacket are black and he wears black shoes. To complete the set, his mask is actually a black shako with a white plume. The mask forms from the bill of the shako covering his eyes and face. (I know it’s kinda ridiculous and i’m willing to change this if need be.)
Personality: Flynn tends to be shy and introverted and prefers to be alone, either listening to music or playing video games. Despite this whenever he talks to people he is upbeat and optimistic, politely talking with a smile. Although he can be cold depending on his mood, sometimes asking to be alone and brushing people off. Flynn is extremely competitive, refusing to be bested and if he is, it frustrates him causing him to desire to improve himself. He is really sensitive to insults and compliments and can drastically lower or improve his mood respectively. He is confident when it comes to his music and it’s one of the few things where his shyness doesn’t affect him, it’s actually something he tends to show off. He also has interests in reading, and anime.

The Background
History: Flynn’s early life was very lonely, other people didn’t like his mellow, pessimistic personality and he ended up being ostracized by his school mates. This ended up lowering his self-esteem but it also made him want to prove himself superior to the surrounding people causing his competitive nature. Looking for a way to express himself he discovered music and began to play various instruments and eventually he would join marching band. He discovered that this would be his passion. His loner lifestyle introduced him to gaming and reading. He was still lonely, but he was able to make it through this dark part in his life.
Eventually, his father found a job opportunity in Endymion, a job which he took. Flynn, his mom, and his dad all moved to Endymion and started their new life there. Flynn was very excited at the prospect of starting anew. He felt that he needed to change himself for people to like him better. To do this he put on a fake personality to get others to like him.
About a month after they moved to Endymion the event known as the Great Divide took place trapping them in that area. His mother died in the panic following the apocalyptic event. His mother's death threw him in a deeper depression that he masked with a smile.
Flynn and his dad have been living at Endymion for five years now. Flynn still uses his fake personality, which is beginning to take a toll on him. His self esteem is still lowered from his childhood and he is still into the arts.
