| Last night was a hell of one indeed. Seeing all that action at once was a lot to take in, but most of it went well. Still, stuff lingered in her mind as she sat behind a tree hidden beneath some bushes. She had recently nabbed some food from a nearby campground and was busy munching away. She attempted to gut someone some time ago, and was unsure even for herself if that was a good idea. In her head it seemed like a good idea at the time, but the feeling that ensued afterward gave her pause. She never cared much for other people and what they worried about; it was just 'Me, Myself and I' when it came to Aya. She didn't regret the attempt, nor does she regret showing up with the powers she had. Maybe it just came down to the fact that all she ever really had to do was threaten or fight people and she usually got her way, and when she didn't she didn't have a chance to do anything worse. Here it could have happened, and it lingered. Maybe it was a good idea to cross that line, and not have to worry about hesitation like this. On the other hand, maybe she could get caught; perhaps it was better that didn't happen that night in the event the others would try to jump her. She wasn't sure herself why she had second thoughts about it. It was murder, people die all the time so who cares? She couldn't drum up a good reason in her head, much to Aya's dismay. She lifted her piece of bread to her mouth and started to sneer at it. She took one more aggressive chomp before wrapping it and putting it away on her person. To hell with that line; she wanted to cross every line she wanted and damn the consequences. She'd find SOMETHING to do with it, and it shouldn't bother her. Who cares what others might think?
She stood up and began to traverse the woods, taking care to stay low to the ground and out of site should a campground be nearby or she be in some view. She didn't want to alert anyone in case it all turned to hell for her. Maybe it was just hunger that made her think stupid thoughts like this. All that really mattered in the end was you and what you did to live. Yeah, it was all Aya needed.

| //"..."// The woods, the perfectly silent woods. One of Shiina's many retreats to simply get away from the noise and ruckus of the normal world; the torment and chaos of Endymion. There were many things on her mind right now, mostly on what she should cook for dinner tonight. Though, the back of her mind still brought up the elephant in the room to her: Alice, her Wonderland, and the White Rabbit. Lisa, her condition... if she would be able to accompany them again soon. All this fluttered around the Wild Card's mind. It wasn't enough to sadden her or anything of the like, not even make her doze off for a while. No, she was just here to think without being interrupted.
//"..."// Her breaths were the only sounds the Cadet made. This discipline of hers, honed through many years of training under the Tsurinai name, and this patience, were both traits that lent themselves to her success so far. Was she an officer of the Group yet? Maybe not... but she had to pride herself in knowing that she was tasked to protect this city nonetheless. Of course, she had to wonder if her officials even expected her to be able to get it right. For all she knew and cared, anyone that wasn't her parents or her cousins simply wished to use this as a quick means of ascertaining whether she was truly a Tsurinai or not.
//"Pensive, Master?"// The mental prod wasn't unexpected, but it wasn't welcome either. //"Nothing to worry yourself over."// In a rather sudden fashion, Shiina's brow furrowed down. She certainly wasn't pleased. //"Hmhmhm. I wonder. Well, leave your dreaming to the nights, you may have company."// The Tsurinai's breathing hitched. In the silent woods, a single misstep was all that was needed to make too much of a noise. Was that what she heard? A misstep by a random passerby? Maybe a woodland creature stepping on a twig? Maybe being hidden from sight meant you should take extra care to hide your sounds...

| Even Aya could hear the noises she was making, so she froze in place to look around and lowered herself quietly behind a tree. She took a moment to eye the area around her for anybody. Had someone heard her noises? If someone was nearby, that meant they either were hiding or were on their own. There wasn't any nearby campgrounds; in a way that made it even more sketchy. Maybe someone else was around trying the same tricks Aya herself was pulling. She reached into her pocket and grasped at a handle, and left her hand there. If someone was going to pop out, now would be the time. She dug her foot deeper into the dirt to stir some leaves; maybe they would catch the source's attention, if there was one. | |

| Shiina not only noticed the sounds, but also the sudden stop right after them. The Tsurinai grew a little grin, but held herself back from a snicker. That pretty much confirmed it, there was sure to be at least something or someone nearby. Well, it was daytime at least, so no danger of a sudden Persona attack. But, just for precaution, Shiina spawned one her throwing knives right at her right hand.
//"You know, the park is public, you don't need to sneak around. Hell, I'm not gonna rat you out for trespassing public property."// The Wild Card rose from her spot and leaned back onto the tree she was just at. //"If you wanna be alone, I won't bother you, so don't be afraid to make noises. 'Kay?"// Shiina's smile grew a little bit. The places right in front of her were under careful watch, since her perfect eyesight would catch any little movement there, and if whoever was here wanted to assault her from behind, that'd involve quite a bit of running through quite a few noisy piles of leaves. If they were any closer, she would have already noticed them, after all.

| Well, it was more than confirmed SOMEONE was here. And to be perfectly honest, Aya herself was not looking for a fight just yet. After the previous night, and her business dealing with everything, she strangely slept a little well. She was in sort of an equilibrium in her. On top of that her inner thoughts would prevent her from being able to fight her hardest. She cursed in her head and took her hand out of her pocket, before beginning to walk to the side of the tree, but not in front of it, as if to try and avoid talking to the girl. She clicked her tongue. "Whatever..." she said, walking towards another set of trees. Of course, Aya caught a glimpse of the girl on the other end of the tree while walking off, but she just didn't really care. If she got caught stealing in front of someone, then they might turn out to be a goody two-shoes and start something. Maybe killing would be the smarter plan, but she still had to judge whether it was a good idea. She still hated herself for still thinking on the subject. She placed a hand through her hanging messy hair and sighed. This was so stupid to care about. | |

| Jinguu snorted in Shiina's mind, clearly amused at the girl's response. Was she that easily put off just because she couldn't sneak around? If she really wanted a fight, the Persona could easily guide Shiina through it... but no, the Cadet just smiled softly and quietly.
//"Alright then."// Thankfully Aya didn't choose to walk to the right of the tree, so Shiina could simply have her knife vanish without a trace, gone like the gentle breeze that blew through the woods. The Wild Card narrowed her eyes, her smile still forcing her lips gradually up, as if this girl didn't have a care in the world. Of course, she was just curious. Her light blue eyes followed the other girl through the woods, though nothing else did. It didn't matter, she was off duty anyway, so being on extremely prejudiced lookout wasn't her top priority.
Still, though, couldn't hurt to keep a constant watch on her position... It was impossible to move through this forest without making a sound and all, so any movement, in this dead silence, would be caught as easily as a loud explosion in the middle of town.
//"Are you eager? You must really be itching for a fight. Hm hm hm... that bunny rabbit left you longing, didn't it?"// Shiina sneered mentally, and did her best to hide it on her face. //"Silence, Jinguu... you know just as well as I do how humiliating it was to run like that. We just need to wait until tonight."// Yes, tonight she'd finish what she started...

| Feeling another presence nearby did not make her comfortable, especially a presence she knew nothing about. For all she knew she was going to attack at any moment, and the traveler would have to be ready. Still, noticing that Shiina was glimpsing at her from the corner of her eye bothered her. Was she actually going to attack? This time, she did in fact tilt her head back to where she was looking to her at a strange angle."Gonna keep staring Maid? I don't think I remember asking you to keep staring at my ass. You want somethin'?" Her face was more passive than anything, she was definitely perturbed by her stare, but she wanted to see what she had to say, maybe something would give. She could have just left, but oh no, Shiina had to remain and watch. Of course all of this was mere projection on Aya's part, but she was sort of thick-headed, and it came with the package. | |

| Shiina folded her hands over one another as she tilted her head. She didn't look particularly menacing, especially not wearing this kind of outfit, and it wasn't like she had any weapons on her. Aya's question didn't really come as a surprise, but Shiina cracked a little grin to it nonetheless. Maybe it was a little of Jinguu affecting her, maybe it was just her being whimsical, but... who knew, this looked like an interesting line of dialogue to follow. With a certain lightness to her posture, the Wild Card chuckled.//"You're interesting. Why did you turn around? You could have simply left if you wanted me to stop staring, I have no reason to follow you."// But now that Aya had turned around, Shiina did seem a little more direct. Her piercing blue eyes found their way to Aya's own, with an overbearing calmness behind their irises. Like the ocean, in a way, calm but volatile... who knew what lurked beneath that depth. They say the eyes are the window to the soul, and an ocean can only hide predators; at least, that's how Shiina chose to view her own Persona. Jinguu-Tennou... the Tainted false self that belonged to this Cadet only uttered a low laugh inside the confines of her mind. | |

| "Normally people don't like it when their eyes are plastered all over them like they're on a shelf. Got a problem?" Even though what she said was no doubt hypocritical, as Aya herself tried to stay out of sight, and watched others. It was hardly a fair accusation. She met Shiina's eyes head on and didn't back down. Her own eyes were less aggressive, but more neutral and had a sort of wall behind it, as though it were pushing against Shiina's own stare. It was a sort of gestural duel, to see who might bow out first. Maybe it was her wish to push the girl out of the general area in order to feel more at peace, or maybe it was so she couldn't be caught. But now she would end up being paranoid, and then confrontational. Her passive expression turned into a sneer and waved a hand at her as though to brush her off. "Whatever..." she repeated. | |

| //"Is that so? I don't feel that bothered by your staring, though."// In fact, it felt amusing. Shiina was just having fun, in a way, a little distraction to get her mind off her own shortcomings last night. It was a pleasant enough activity to see what would come out of this, wasn't it? Jinguu wanted more, but she was stuck observing and having no control of her User until the night.
//"Whatever, whichever, whoever. I wonder, I wonder, however I must ask: whenever do you think you'll stop repeating 'whatever'?"// The Wild Card's smile turned a little more sly as she supported an arm with the other and pinched her chin with her free hand. //"So stiff..."// She could see it in her eyes, that cautious sneer, that aggressive anger. It probably wasn't wise to poke further, though, so Shiina left it to just observing... or, well, whatever else was needed. After all, she still had her back turned to the same tree as before.
//"Hmm... why are you still here?"// Shiina's eyes narrowed in curiosity. Most people would just leave the conversation if they were getting annoyed by it, so why not do it this time? The more she thought about it, the weirder it sounded to her. What kept this girl? Was it just a fear of being watched? Had she done something bad? Eh, probably not, but Shiina was still curious whether she was really going to leave or not. If she did, then there was no reason to wonder about anything.

| She yawned the more they stared, and leaned back towards a tree behind her. "Cause I'm hungry, what's it to you?" She said, eyeing the area around her. She noticed a squirrel jumping through trees and leaves bristling in the quiet wind, but she did not notice much of Shiina's own actions, not to say she wasn't focused on Aya, but she wasn't doing anything for her to catch. "But what about you girlie? What are you doing out here all alone? You live out here?" She said, her lip subtly turning upward at the thought. Yeah right, someone in her clothes dressed up like a doll out here in the wild? Please, it wasn't believable in the slightest. | |
