**ALERT!** After a rather eventful evening at Maksim's Party, three teenagers seems to have gone missing. The doors of Vault Olympia have been breached due to a to this day unknown assailant, who sabotaged the doors locking systems, allowing demons to make entry. Thanks to the excellent defensive capabilities of the Vault's Security drones, the Attack was put to an end, and the invading monsters fled to the outside. Right now, the Doors of Vault Olympia are currently open, allowing any survivors of the fall to seek shelter within the Vault's safe halls. What Vault Security officials think of this development remains unclear as the Chief of Police and Security of Olympia refused to leave a comment. This is Rianara, of Olympia news, signing out.

The site is entering a new era as our team of mods works tirelessly on updating old and obsolete information threads and links. Over the Summer, we aim to make many changes to the forum, including writing a comprehensive beginners' guide to help new players accommodate to the combat and other rp systems in place here.

"Awwww... come on little guy! What's the matter? Why are you so sad?"

Tears streamed down Grins's face as he fell to his knees in defeat. He... He was so... SO SAD! While yes he was a perpetually happy bot and very little ever got him down, when he did achieve a "Gotten Down" state he was about as down as one could be got! And this was an instance of Downness that would register on the richter  scale... If this downness was a physical depth it would surpass the Marianas trench! If this downness were uppness 8D would be in orbit! If... uh... this downness was... um... "GAH! I'm so depressed I can't even think of a pun!" 8D sighed... giving up...

"Why? Why is it that you vex me so my little chlorophyll filled friend?" Grins begged of the little flower that drooped slightly in the hot morning sun, "Is my water not wet enough? My soil not dirt enough? The sun not... uh... Sun enough!? Do you not like free form jazz!?" In hind sight playing then smashing a slap base for/on the little flower may have been his stupidest idea yet.... Then again how the heck should he know how flowers work? God damn it Jim he's a clown, not a botanist! If only he had some help... Other wise he would sit there crying next to his favorite flower....

Sunlake Palms. It had been a place he had just visited the other day, but unlike before he had not come here on business, but rather to enjoy the peaceful nature of the area before people began to wake up and start their day. That was the plan and was going to continue to be the plan as he moved from the streets and headed down the pathway that led to the gardens; however, instead of peace and quiet, the idol would find a different sound greeting his ears as he ducked under a low hanging plant and entered the usually tranquil place.

What was the sound you ask? Well, crying. Very loud and seeming overly dramatic crying to be precise. Good heavens. You’d think from sound alone that someone had lost a job, loved one, or something serious like that, but no. That was not the case at all. This person that was in so much distress and suffering was crying over a...A flower….

………

As the idol moved towards the source of the sound and spotted the one making the racket and what it was it about, he found himself not being able to show any compassion outwardly towards this despair. His face remained blank and he simply blinked at what he saw. It wasn’t that he was being mean or heartless. He just didn’t understand why there was so many tears over a flower. Granted the poor thing looked a bit beat up, but honestly provided the flower wasn’t damaged to the point it could not grow any more. A little love could get the flower to perk back up in no time. He understood this even not being a gardener, so why….Why was this person, clown, thing.... Alright word choice make up your mind. Ahem. Anyway...Why was this dude, crying so much over what could potentially be fixed?

It was perplexing causing the idol’s pretty face to shift from blank to confused as he gave small frown at the situation as he stood for a moment where he was thinking. Well, what to do? On one hand, he could walk away and pretend he never saw this. Not get involved, but as cold as the idol could present himself...he actually had a heart under it all so...Interacting it was.

....Right.....

Shaking off the confusion and trying to present himself as non-hostile as possible for his serious nature, he would take a step towards the other and make his presence known.

“Hey...What’s up?”

The question was delivered in a calm soft voice, but there was an air of uncertainty to it as the idol was still unsure what he was suppose to do in this situation. Comforting was not one of his strong points, but he would have to adapt since he choose to interact with the crying person....

Hey! Listen!:

PostSubject: Re: Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru)   Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) EmptyThu Oct 13, 2016 1:15 pm

"HABA HUBA WHA!?" 8D shouted as the voice from behind scared the ever loveing baJEEBUS out of him! He would shoot up to a standing position and hop a few feet away taking a crane kick stance. His face showed a steely determination as he faced down his would be assailant. He would stand there for only a moment however, before he lost balance and stumbled backwards slightly and dropped the pose in favor of not falling flat on his rather lacking rump.

"H-Hey watch it ya wisenhimer! I almost jumped right... out of... my... EEP!" 8D was all ready to give this palooka the ol'RoundAbout. Oh yeah 8D was gunna be the In and Out I'll tell ya! Something... something... make the children really ring?... AH THE POINT IS! Grins's pseudo anger was dropped rather quickly when his eyes met those of the one who had found it necessary to scare the poor bot silly "M-My apologies! Ehehe, S-Sorry about my rude reaction, you merely startled me is all! Ehehe... You see, I was focusing intently on my little flower friend here." 8D motioned to the wilting flower that seemed all the more sad then it was a moment before. "No matter what I do my Botany Buddy won't perk up... It makes for one sad clown for me to be..."

PostSubject: Re: Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru)   Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) EmptySat Oct 15, 2016 12:16 pm

This one...is jumpy.

That was all Haru thought as he heard odd cry and then watched as this strange person took on a crane position and for at least a few seconds seemed like he could be a potential threat if he had decided to attack, but then the presentation was ruined as the other lost balance and ended up stumbling back. While some might’ve reacted badly to being threatened or even laughed at the aftermath, the idol was not amused as he watched the other with a blank expression, making it hard to tell exactly what he was thinking.

Even when the nonsensical words came up, the idol remained quiet as he let it all come at him. The only signs of annoyance was the slight narrowing of his eyes as he watched the whole thing, trying to determine just how to approach this; however, time for thinking would be cut short as the other’s eyes met steely ones and in turn his tuned changed. The situation was still a bit too much all over the place for the more direct idol; however, he wouldn’t hold this against the other for long as he finally blinked and looked off to the side a bit with a small sigh.

This was awkward and uncomfortable. Half of him honestly just wanted to walk away from it, but he knew he could not do that for various reasons. That internal struggle aside, it would only take a few seconds for the idol to recompose himself as he looked over at the other, trying to be gentle with his approach as he gave the other a small sheepish smile.

“Perhaps it is I who should apologize instead. I didn’t mean to startle you like that. Forgive me,” he would say his voice remaining as calm and soft as before. However, the smile would fade in time as the other responded to his question. While the wording was questionable, Haru would push it aside as he focused on the task at hand.

“It won’t perk back up, huh? Well, don’t despair. Let’s we can do help it,” the idol would tell the other as he shifted from his spot and came closer. Keeping a watch on the other from the corner of his eye out of habit, the idol would crouch down a bit and look at the small flower, taking in the way it was bent before speaking.

“Mmm. It looks like the flower got damaged by something that struck it; however, it isn’t dead. It looks like all it needs really is a bit of replanting, support, and time to make a full recovery. It should be fine provided nothing worse happens to it.” He would then look up at the other. “It is an easy fix. Do you want me to help you with it?” he would ask as he tilted his head at the other.

PostSubject: Re: Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru)   Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) EmptyWed Oct 19, 2016 11:36 am

"Oh pish posh! All is already forgiven! No need to apologize for the apology was given by me! If we were both to apologize then no forgiving would take place and everyone would be mad, ehehe,"Grins slowly regained his composure and let out a light chuckle. The man before him was obviously uncomfortable with the clowns antics, not that that's all that surprising,-Though I'd think you were used to dealing with men in silly costumes... ehehe- Regardless, Grins certainty didn't want to make the man uneasy.... What!? Just cus he's a clown he has to like being creepy and putting people off? Please, clowns are entertainers! Not monsters.

"Do you honestly think so? That is wonderful news! I was beginning to worry my little buddy would wilt and wilt and wilt until he couldn't wilt any longer! Then perhaps he would wilt even more... Oh such a sad fate brings a bitter tear to my eye..." Grins would mime wiping a tear from his eye before sniffling gently. He would hold this for a moment before clapping his hands together and letting a wide happy grin stretch over his face, "But now I am glad. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you could offer in my time of need." Grins would bow slightly before crouching down to be level with the man, but kept his eye on the flower itself. With a flick of the wrist Grins would produce a trowel from seemingly nowhere and begin gently dig around the flower, a good distance away, careful not to hit the roots.

"Where do you think I should replant him Mr... Oh... Oh my!" 8D paused and let out a dry chuckle before turning to face the handsome man,"How rude of me! I never asked your name kind sir, Ehehe."

Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru)   Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) EmptyFri Oct 21, 2016 6:14 pm

Discomfort…

It was a thing in social situations for the young man who probably should not have had the issue at all. He was a stage performer that could take on various roles, strut any costume placed on him, and even mimic other genders if he needed to. He performed in front of thousands and dealt with strangers at meet and greets as if it were normal to have such things happen. He could do all that without so much as a hiccup, so why was it when faced with people in general out of that box he had so much trouble? It was a mystery that the young man hadn’t quite figured out about himself though it wasn’t like he had time to ponder that too much when interacting with another.

And what a strange person this was. To the apology given the idol would received a rather odd dismissal of it. He didn’t quite understand why the words were phrased the way they were and if they were designed to make someone laugh or smile, then the meaning kind of went over the young man’s head for his lips did not so much as twitch as he gave the other a light nod, his expression serious as always.

“Fair enough.”
That was all he said as he watched the other not really bothered by his appearance. He was used to oddness (yes even guys wearing strange suits) and to be honest when one has been in the entertainment business as long as he had been, there were things a lot stranger than folks dressing up as clowns. Though he had to wonder where this guy came from or if he was part of a group of some sort. On the other hand he could like to dress up oddly so who knows. Though maybe none of that matter. At least the guy seemed to cheer up and he wasn’t doing anything to weird the idol out too badly, awkward social moments aside, so this was okay.

As for that whole flower issue, well…

Haru would look up at the other from his crouched position and tilted his head slightly at the action at first seeming not to react as he spoke.

“It would be a sad fate, but we can save it from that end, so no crying okay?” he would say as his serious expression became gentle unexpectedly and a small smile appeared on the his face. Alright. He’d admit, he was a bit amused at this, but even so he would only show that small break in seriousness for a few seconds before it faded as the other clapped and then did a different sort of action.

“I’m happy to help,” Haru would say as the other crouched down next to him and then somehow made a tool for gardening appear? The idol’s eyebrows furrowed a bit at this one. How did he do that? Was he a magician or something? …..Maybe it was best not to ask. Anyway, that flower needed a new spot to be planted in. So then….

Hm? Oh. Right names. That would be helpful, huh?

“Hatsuharu and the pleasure is mine, Mr...?” he would trail off a bit to give the other room to answer. Though whether he did or not, mismatched eyes would eventually drift from the clown to the area around them scanning for a better spot for the flower. Standing he would drift about the garden until he found a nice spot situated near some taller plants. The patch of dirt was in a good spot where the flower could get sunlight, shade, and water, but also be a nice distance away from those that may accidentally stomp or hit the poor thing.

Kneeling down, he would test the soil to see how rocky and dry it was and finding it to be fine. He would stand up and look at the other.  “This spot will be good for your flower to restart,” he would say and then scanning the garden he would look for some tools. There.

It looked like there was a spot where some tools for gardeners rested, so drifting over he would scan the items, picking up a small digging tool, a small yet sturdy piece of wood, and a bit of string. With what was needed in hand he would drift towards the spot and carefully clean the spot out before setting to work on digging a hole big enough for the other’s plant. When he was done, he’d turn to look at the other wherever he was and give a light nod for him to bring the plant over so it could be replanted. Outside of this, the young man remained quiet. He was...not exactly the best conversationalist.

PostSubject: Re: Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru)   Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) EmptyMon Oct 24, 2016 11:03 am

"My friends call me Grins! I suppose you can to if you would like." Grins couldn't help but plaster his namesake over his face as the other man offered his name. What had started out as a dismal and rather sad day was quickly becoming happy and quite enjoyable! While this man did seem to be rather quite and soft spoken, he did have a good heart and at least looked like he genuinely wanted to help. Though his obvious discomfort with this whole situation did make Grins want to wrap this up as soon as possible. Rather not make the man unhappy when he's being so helpful.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Mr.Hatsuharu. May I call you Haru for short?" 8D would say with a grin and a nod as he finished uprooting the flower and made his way to the spot where Hatusuharu had opened up the dirt. The spot looked sunny and warm... Perfect place for 8D's little flower friend! "Oh this spot is perfect! If I had to guess I'd say you were a BUDDIGN florist! Ehehe," 8D would chuckle at his pun as he replanted the flower delicately, trying not to damage the roots or the surrounding plants. When this job was done 8D would look happily up at Hatsuharu and scoot to the side to give him plenty of room to tie the flower to the stick he held.

Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru)   Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) EmptyFri Oct 28, 2016 8:38 am

“Grins?” Haru would pause for a moment as he repeated the name and let it sink in for a second. It was an odd name, but he supposed it did fit him. He did seem to like to do said action so perhaps this was okay. The thought only last a second before Haru nodded at the other, a light smile of his own his face. “Alright then, Grins it is,” he would say as he remained in his kneeled for now by the freshly dug hole.

As for the question posed, the smile would disappear as his head bowed and he thought quietly for a moment. It wasn’t that he had an issue with what was being asked, but rather he just never had anyone outside of his family use his name like that. Typically most used Hatsu, but then again he was himself either way, so….

He would look back up at the other and gave him a light nod. “Sure. Go right ahead,” he would state and then move over to give the other room to plant the flower. As the other worked and spoke, Haru would raise an eyebrow at the wording and then shaking his head lightly he would give the other a soft smile of amusement. It was a bad joke, but it didn’t make it any less entertaining...and it was kind of hard to stay serious when you had someone smiling so much and generally being nice. While no trust was there for sure, the more the young man spent time with this strange guy, the more he loosened up and the discomfort eased into nerves rather than anything bad.

As the dark haired male moved forward to carefully build the support for the flower he would speak. “Thanks I guess. Though I am only mimicking what I’ve read and seen on programs,” he would say being completely honest with that one. He did always want to try gardening, but outside of tons of books and information, his busy schedule had hardly given him time to do what he wanted. He was actually glad he got an opportunity now. The action of gardening was nice and while he had never considered it before doing the activity with another somehow made the task that much more enjoyable. Anyway...

From here, Haru would quietly perform his task before getting up and going to retrieve a small container and some water. Kneeling down, next to the other he would hold the container out to him. “Go on and finish it off by giving it some water. After this, time and nature should do the rest,” he said his voice remaining soft and gentle as always. If the other took the container, he would rest his hands on his knees staying quiet for a few seconds before glancing over at the other again. He was a bit hesitant due to just not being that great of conversationalist, but he managed to open his mouth and speak anyway.

“...So Grins, is this area your home or do you come from elsewhere?” he would ask quite curious of the strange man despite it all.

PostSubject: Re: Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru)   Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) EmptyTue Nov 01, 2016 9:37 pm

"Yes in deedy apple seedy! I am Grins the clown, professional performer, magician, bartender and of course... Clown!" 8D couldn't help but light the balls lights that hung from his hat as he introduced himself fully. This man seemed soft spoken and rather distant with all things around him, but Grins could tell he had a soft heart and good intentions. If anything he was just socially awkward.... though that could be chocked up to the fact that he had met a clown in a garden. That fact in and of it self is rather odd, but couple that with that very same clown asking you for such an obtuse favor and well, you could make the most outgoing fellow quite the introvert.

"Well sir Haru, oh how I do like that nick name, I must say that if you are simply imitating what you have seen then what you have seen must be a master work. Ehehehe, Oh dear am I laying it on a tad thick? I rather hope I am not." 8D would stifle a laugh as he shifted out of Haru's way and let him do his work. For an apparent first timer he seemed to know what he was doing... Goes to show there's not accounting for raw talent these days! Ehehehe. When he was finished 8D wuld graciously thank Haru for the pail of water and gently begin to finish the job by gently giving the poor flower something to drink.

"Ehehe, No not quite. I live in the BackLight district, behind my family's bar. I come here often to take in the sights and some fresh air. Ehehe, even a clown must unwind from time to time." 8D's normal sing songy voice would take a bit of a more gentle tone, more relaxed..."And you my good man? Is this place your home?"

PostSubject: Re: Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru)   Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) EmptySun Nov 06, 2016 12:36 pm

Haru would fine himself giving the other a light smile as he introduced himself and all the jobs he could perform ending it all with the strange display of lights on his hat. For some this could probably be too much and normally the idol would back away slowly from it all and seek some form of escape, but it seemed as of late odd people of all sorts were finding him and perhaps being exposed to so much, he was slowly getting better at accepting the different shades folk came in. So despite how overwhelming this one could be, Haru managed to hold his ground and slowly become slightly more comfortable with being around the guy.

“Ah. So you’re kind of like a jack of all trades then?” he would ask and then hearing about the bar he would tilt his head at the other. “You have a bar? What’s its name?” he would ask a bit curious. While he wasn’t a bar hopper, he was always curious about new places to find food and drinks and maybe some peace and quiet too. Regardless of the small pry though the idol would eventually become quiet again as he set to work on the plant. As he worked, he would participate in the light chat that was going on.

Sir Haru? Well, he supposed that was alright. It wasn’t harming anything, so why not let him use the odd nickname? In any case that aside, the idol would shake his head lightly at the compliments being given.

“Nah you’re fine, but the books and shows I did see were pretty informative and descriptive. If you have free time and access to a library or the net you should try looking up some self help books or videos. You’d be amazed how many tools are out there for you to use to perfect something,” he would say remaining humble the whole time. If he wasn’t working or training, then he passed his time absorbing tons of information here and there and while he couldn’t put it all into practice for real. He could mull over how it was done in his mind. It was something nice and relaxing he could do to escape the madness of the world around him from time to time. That aside though...

He would finish the task and then move out of the way so the guy could water the flower. As he did, he would dust off his hands a bit as he listened to what the other said.

“The BackLight District, huh? I don’t recall visiting there much. How do you like it there?” he would say. He supposed it had to have some appeal to live there right? ... Unless of course the family business was why the other decided to continue to live there. As for the question posed, he would shake his head. “No. I live in Vista Square. Though I prefer the quieter parts of the city like East Eden,” he would say as his eyes drifted to the flowers around them for a bit before returning them back to Grins. A surprisingly gentle smile was on his face. “I can agree with you on the unwinding part. It’s always nice to find the pockets of peace in the city when you’re surrounded by so much chaos all the time,” he respond back in soft relaxed tones. It seems he was getting more and more comfortable with the situation as time passed on.

"A Jack of all trades? Ehehehe! That is quite the turn of phrase my friend! I do believe it describes me far more then you know." 8D couldn't help but laugh at that one. -Ehehehe, Rather good, Yes rather good indeed! Ehehehe!-"My bar slash home is called Grin's Hole in The Wall. Aptly named to, it's a little on the small side, Ehehe, but if you're looking for a nice neutral ground to have a nice relaxing night away from your troubles I can recommend no better place! Ehehe," Grins hoped this fellow would grace his doorstep some time. Even if he was a little off-This coming from me...- He was indeed quite the nice company. 8D couldn't help but smile a large goofy smile at the man.

"Oh that dose make sense yes! In fact it is through very similar means that I got interested in gardening myself. You see I wanted to look into a new hobby, so I looked online for fun things to do that frankly didn't cost to much cash and this seemed rather interesting and colorful! Which from my artier you can probably tell is the top criteria for my enjoyment and interest, Eheheh." Haru seemed like a man who felt that life was truly only about bettering one's self. While 8D could see the appeal of such a lifestyle, it sounded rather drab and boring when in practice. 8D felt  life was far better spent seeking entertainment and the stimulation of the senses rather then the increase in knowledge. Though, the old adage did go "To each his own" so it is understandable.

"Vista Square? Oh my that must be quite the interesting life! Ehehe. Music and festivities at all hours of the night... How do you keep your sanity dear friend? Ehehehe!" 8D couldn't help but poke the slightest bit of fun. Vista Square, while a fun day trip, was not the kind of place he expected a man as quite and reserved as Haru here to enjoy. "As for BackLight... it is nice, I have lived there for almost as long as I can remember. Eventually you get to know the owners of each business personally and it becomes more of a neighborhood then a stripmall. Though yes, much like Vista Square, it to can get very exhausting... Which is why we find ourselves here!" 8D chuckled as he put the pail of water down and let a content sigh escape his lips. "It is good to have an escape from the Chaos, yes... After so much disorder and shapelessness, it is good to take a moment to breath."

Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru)   Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) EmptySat Nov 12, 2016 8:05 pm

It was hard not to smile when you had someone so happy around you. As stoned faced as the idol could be he found after spending sometime with the guy that he was slowly loosening up and in turn smiling a bit more than usual. While he wasn’t rolling in laughter like the other, the light smile and the expression upon his face did show that the idol had settled into a comfort zone where he was at least amused by the situation and the strange fellow with him. And look he even got Haru to chuckle a bit with his first set of words. It was a soft one, but the chuckle was there.

However, it would quickly pass as he listened to the name of the bar and what it was all about as he tilted his head a bit at the other. “Neutral grounds huh? That actually sounds like a nice place to be. And small is always nice in comparison to the large things we have. Makes a place a bit more warm like a home if done right,” he would say his words remaining calm and friendly the whole time. He had taken note of what the other said about neutral grounds and tucked it away. Sure he could’ve pounced on that, but being one not to give tons of information about himself away and not to attack something unless it was a threat, the young man just made a mental not of it for now. “In any case, if its a hole in the wall, then all the more reason to visit it. Usually the small and humble are the best places chill and eat at. I’ll definitely have to check it out to see just how true to your words the place is,” he would say as he gave the other a friendly smile. Who knows the place might become a favorite spot, especially if what was offered beat the fancier competitors.

That side mission aside, he would take in the words about how the other got into planting and would find himself letting out a light snort of amusement. “Mmm. I found it the same way and for similar reasons. Though mine had more of a practical reason behind it too. I’ve always wanted to grow things both for pleasure and to use in everyday life, so I gobbled up whatever information I could on the subject until I actually found a place where I could actually put the knowledge into practice. East Eden has more spaces to play with, but I never got the time to do the gardening part as I was much to distracted with other things. Then I found this little place by accident and became quite thrilled. I didn’t have to wait to visit East Eden again to actually try out the gardening this round or find peace. This was a nice surprising find. Though the first time I found the place I met a flower girl here who gave me some tips on how to get started right in this spot. I guess she is only around on certain days though. Haven’t seen her much since then.” Where did she go? He hadn’t recall seeing her when he wandered through here since then, so maybe he simply missed her. Regardless of that, Haru would push the thought aside as his mind wandered to gardening in general. He was a hard worker and a firm believer in improvement, but even so he also liked enjoying the fruits of said work and the relaxing benefit that the exercise gave him. It was much better than his normal routine and something he was actually at peace with, so maybe the simple life was his true calling. That aside though, back to reality.

He would think for only a few seconds before blinking and refocusing on the other. “Say how did you stumble upon this place?” He would ask a bit curious since it seemed that himself and this one had some things in common despite how different they were. However that went though was another question and one that wouldn’t be answered now since the topics had changed to homes now.

To the other’s question, Haru would give the other a sheepish grin as he shook his head lightly."It’s been my whole life since I can remember, so I guess I just learned to deal with it. Though I will admit it can be a bit much, so before I lose too much of whatever sanity is left up there I find quiet spots to recharge and escape. Without those spaces to retreat to, I have no idea where’d I be,” he would say his words honest. Where would he be if he was stuck in that madness all the time? Probably nowhere pretty, so best not to go there.

Anyway it seemed the other had similar experiences to his own though on a different sort of level. “Ah. It must be tough some day, but I guess we all get through in the end,” he would say with a light smile and then hearing the rest, he would smile as he nodded. “I can’t agree more there. The Calm balances out the madness and helps me see clearer in the end. Though, I wish life was flipped sometimes, you know. Have more of the peace and just visit the chaos here and there.”

Sometimes he wondered if he was born in the wrong place and wondered if he could get life to flip around would it improve overall or not matter? A mystery he had yet to find the answer to yet.

Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru)   Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) EmptyTue Nov 15, 2016 1:20 pm

"I look forward to your visit my friend! Ehehe." 8D was glad Haru seemed interested. On the one hand he just got more business for his bar, on the other Haru seemed like pleasant enough clientele that he may calm down a few of the drunken regulars that 8D has to deal with on a normal basis..."We're conveniently located on fifth street right across fromt he TOA Heavy Industries outlet store. Trust me you can't miss it." -Ten 8D happy points to anyone who can guess what Jack has been watchen recently from that reference! Ehehehe!-

"It seems we both happened upon this little slice of heaven in much the same way. Though it is not for an abundance of work that I sought out a safe haven, it was more for the avoidance of it heh." 8D sheepishly scratched at an non-existent itch as he thought back to the first day he found himself on this garden path. "You see my father expects far more from me then I think is even remotely reasonable. So on occasion I will sneak from my home and take refuge somewhere. One bright day this secluded spot was my hiding space and from there I fell in love with it's natural charms! I've been coming back sense to clear my mind, though I do not think I have run into the flower girl that you speak of, did you happen to catch her name?"

"I am both glad and sorry that we seem to understand one another's trouble! Ehehe! You're insight is not lost on me Haru, though I must ask, if you feel your life is far to much chaos and not enough order, why live in a volatile city such as Endymion. I mean we have such weird sights in this town, like clowns trying to garden, eheheh. I have many things binding me to this city... I'm curious if you do as well." 8D smirked and cast a friendly look to Haru, hoping he didn't offend.

PostSubject: Re: Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru)   Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) EmptyFri Nov 18, 2016 1:21 pm

“Likewise,” Haru would say as the gentle smile on his face remaining as he gave the other a light nod. This hole in the wall was becoming more appealing by the second, even more so when its host/owner didn’t seem like an ass or the sort to be inviting simply to gain money. It was appealing trait to the idol that had won the guy a small amount of points as far as getting on Haru’s good side went. That aside though, he would absorb the next bit of information given. “Fifth street across from TOA Heavy Industries. Got it,” Haru would say giving the other a thumbs up (OMG! Has someone been reading Blame!?). The simple directions would prove useful to him when he decided to seek out the establishment in the future. Future planning aside though, the conversation would shift to the garden and whey each came here.

To what was heard, the small smile on Haru’s face would fade as his expression became neutral as he listened. It wasn’t that he thought anything bad of avoiding work, it was just something he preferred not to do himself. Being more of a hard-worker and perfectionist, he found not doing work or practicing when he needed to a very hard thing to do. Even so, he did not judge the other harshly for what he said, even less so when the other mentioned parents.

“Ah,” Haru would close his eyes for a few seconds before reopening them and looking up at the sky. “Parents and their demands. It seems that despite our different reasonings for escaping to places like this, we are very similar in that regard.” He would look back at the other with a sheepish smile. “Mine can be very overbearing with their demands, so I can see why one would want to hide. I think it is wise lest we lose ourselves to the insanity and pressure.” This was interesting. The usually reserved and quiet idol admitted this fact so easily to a stranger, but maybe that was because he felt it okay to do since they were on similar ground like that. Besides, if the guy got any funny ideas of trying to twist that, the idol had ways of dealing with that, but for the time being he saw no need to take such actions towards this one who he found was likeable despite how out there he seemed to be.

Anyway….

The smile would fade into seriousness as he heard the question and paused to think. “Her name was Feya. She was a very kind lady that said she took care of this place. I’ve been meaning to come back to check on her, but kind of got sideswipe by work,” he would say giving the other a somewhat bent truth, but a truth nonetheless. He really had gotten busy as of late. He need to set a mental reminder to stop and breathe or else he’d break down again...and he did not want that. That fun matter aside, Haru would look down as he heard the last bit of what the other said. That one was a bit deeper than the rest of the conversation and he wasn't sure how much he wished to share with the other. Even so, he would not be rude as he thought on his answer.

“Why?” he would ask and then with a light sigh he would look back at the other with a serious expression. “My life is crazy and always rush, rush and it is that portion of life I wish to calm down. And who knows, I may find some peace at the end of the road, but abandon the city completely for this peace? Somedays the offer is tempting, but in the end, I know I cannot do that,” he would give the other a gentle, yet somewhat sad smile. “I too am chained to this city by things I cannot let go. Ironic, no?”

PostSubject: Re: Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru)   Hmmm Now why dosn't this work? (Haru) EmptyWed Nov 23, 2016 1:17 pm

"Freya? Interesting name... I will have to thank her for her hard work. Apart from my floral failures this garden is immaculate. Ehehe," Taking care of so many flowers must be a full time job for sure... Silently 8D wondered to himself why one would devote so much energy to a task that had such little intrinsic value and would surely impede one's own ability to enjoy life... However it did occur to him that takeing care of this walkway was how Freya went about enjoying her life. After all who was he to judge others for how they lived their lives when he himself was a slap stick happy clown. When it came right down to it, he was the weird one in most situations, this one was no different.

"Ah... I see. This I can understand all to well. For many of us Endymion is the END of the road Ehehehe. It is a place where people come to live and die, birth and death... All experienced within the confines of our little oasis in the demon lands... Makes you wonder some times, dose the outside world truly exist? After all we are not there to observe it... Mayhaps Endymion is all there is to this world..." 8D's voice would fall to a whisper as he said his last piece, his gaze fixed firmly on the wilting flower."Though those are just the inane ramblings of a Clown, pay them no mind! Ehehehe," 8D chuckled as he stood from his crouch and picked up the pail of water.

"I do believe I've taken up enough of your time Mr.Haru, and I apologize if my questioning got a bit personal. I honestly don't know what came over me, Eheheh" 8D would grin widely as he offered a hand to Haru, hoping the gesture would be reciprocated.
