Heya! I'm your friendly neighborhood Larsinny, a demon here to keep you updated on the current debacles going on within the site! Okay, maybe not debacles... Anyway! The Endymion Plot, our Third Main Plot, has started! We also have our previous plot's part two running next to it for Azores! If you're a new member looking to join the new plot, you will want to choose Endymion. However, if you're interested in our older plot, Azores, you may also join that one aswell. The choice is ultimately up to you! The Dungeon Master of the Azores plot is Grantus and the DM of the current Endymion plot is Philemon.

All templates on the site have been updated, and this also includes the rules aswell. When referring to the rules, please disregard any that say "Old" or "Obsolete" as we are no longer using those rules for the Endymion Plot. Oh, don't be mistaken! I love breaking the rules! But in this case, follow them or erasure!

The Biography


Birth Name: Koishiki Shouri.
Aliases: Shiroyuki.
Gender: Male.
Age: 16.
Birth Day: 12 of June.
Arcana: Death.
Place of Residence: Endymion.
Evoker: Mental Shackles.
Academy Semester: Third Year.
Class: (We'll fill this in once you're approved. This will be your class in school)

Sorority: Chess Club.

Part/Full Time Job: Manipulation Lab.

Appearance: He is a skinny, albino boy with messy, medium length hair and androgyne appearance, making it hard to know if he is really a boy or a girl. He is not that tall, with a height of 1,60 meters (5'2"), and weight almost by his 56 kilograms (123 lb). His skinny appearance is due to a mild form of cerebellar trauma, but his coordination skills are still maintained due to his deep brain stimulation surgery he underwent as a kid, resulting in him wearing a collar with an electrode alongside wires running to the back of his ear. He is only seen wearing a white blouse with gray strips resembling feathers of a hummingbird, added with his python pants and black shoes. When in battle, his facial expression changes to those from a beast, with his red pupils becoming dilated and his smile being that of an insane slaughtering psychopath.

Alternate Appearance: As his alternate mask, he only wears a long hooded cloak that covers his body, including his head, hiding half of his face as well. The rest of the cloak is a series of dark plumes running down his back like fallen wings from a fallen angel. However, he still wears his civil clothes beneath it, and his face can be seen clearly, but he hides half of his face with his bangs, making almost impossible for something to notice his true appearance.

Personality: He has a strong personality, always getting into fights because of misunderstandings. But overall, he is quite intelligent as he plays chess and works in a manipulation lab, and his school notes are average. Shouri hates being hated or pitied because of his albinism and cerebellar damage and can get into trouble as he would punch or mistreat anyone who dares to disrespect his status as a disabled. During a battle, he is a ruthless monster that will do the most horrendous acts possible, but it is more for the effect of causing fear into other people than pleasure. He is a distant guy that mostly avoids socialization, but he can be a nice person if you try to connect with him. Trying to change his own views of hate and pity, he wants to research the mysteries of the city as his personality changes through it.

Description: You are pretty good! This strenght allows you to increase your luck by 15%.

Strength Name: Solid Snake
Description: You are a new spy from FOXHOUND? Nah, you aren't, you are just quiet, like a ninja. This strength decreases the square an enemy can spot you by 1. However, this only works with you, and you can still be spotted normally if you are with a party.

Strength Name: The Alchemist
Description: By working in a manipulation lab, you are quite good with chemistry. You can create healing items that can cure 20 points of HP, but to do it, you need a topic with exactly 700 words to gather materials, manipulate chemicals and finish the items. By topic, you can make five of these. However, you can't make these in any situation, you need at least a calm workplace, meaning you can't create your healing items in dungeons.

Description: You can't even flinch a little kid. Your magic points will decrease by 15%.

Description: Jokes aside, you start to hear voices due to the side effects of the suppressants, and you will lose half of your focus (concentration) in every activity you participate. This means you only earn half of social quality points during roleplay.

Description: Well, you can't because you have albinism! If you don't use solar protection or walk with an umbrella guarded, you will become tired just by walking in the sun.

Soul Bound Weapon:

Weapon Name: The Crutch.
Weapon Description: It was once a walking crutch for disabled people, but in order to fight, it was modified by Shouri for defensive and offensive purposes, with this crutch having three modes; walking, tonfa, and shield. In the walking mode, four legs extend from the tip and are used by the user to better walk in the battlefield. In the tonfa mode, the cane moves to the elbow, with the arm guard being located just around the arm. During shield mode, the cane hides into the arm guard and can be used to defend the user, but it can be also used for surprise attacks by extending the cane and using the four-legged tip to strengthen the impact.

Side-Arm Name: Colt Single Action Army.
Side-Arm Description: A revolver like those from a spaghetti western movie, but it is more real than those of fiction. With a drum for 5 bullets, it is enough to kill anything that moves.

Side-Arm Style: Revolver - Single Shot - Accuracy is increased by 20%. Consumes only one type of ammo per use. Can shoot only one enemy at a time.



The Background



History: Shouri was born with albinism, a genetic condition where the body is unable to produce melanin. Since he was a kid, he suffered from comments and prejudice, but his family still loved him very much and decided to take care of him, even if others happen to see their son as an abomination. Years later, this happy, white albino was thrown out of the school window because a kid thought his pale skin was a curse, resulting in a traumatic brain injury that damaged his cerebellum, with his movement skills compromised. His family took him to a famous neurosurgeon as they wanted their son to be happy no matter what, a desire the neurosurgeon granted for the couple. He implanted a deep brain stimulation device for him that could use a voltage in his brain to keep most of his coordination skills intact, and after seasons of surgery, he was normal as ever, only with some little problems on his manner of walking, forcing him to use at least a crutch to walk. As a teenager, he became more and more violent against people who wished to help him, thinking they were only doing it for pity, but he also hated people who held prejudice against him, catching him into a great number of policial records. Thinking their son needs discipline, they transferred him to the Seven Stars of the big metropole of Endymion in hopes he could learn about respect and friendship, but he got more violent as he started to get accustomate to the city, thinking something weird was happening in that town, like the citizens were being controlled like mere puppets. In order to discover these strange events, he decided to go against the normality as he wanted to find the truth.

Regarding your appearance, height and weight are required.

—Strength Name: Marksmanship
—Description: You are pretty good, son! This strength allows you to increase your luck by 20% and increases your accuracy with guns by 10% during battle temporally.


The strength should not increase two different things at once. You can choose to have up to a 15% boost in luck or a boost in accuracy with gun.

—Strength Name: The Alchemist
—Description: By working in a manipulation lab, you are quite good with chemistry. You can create chemicals that gave you a 15% chance of running away from a battle.


There already are escape rules in the following thread at the bottom which you'll find to be beneficial if you want to change your weakness to something else: http://newarcana.forumotion.com/t3506-dungeon-traversal-guide-updated#36391

However if you want to keep it then it will be counting as making an item, so you'll need to make rules for it (such as how many words to make it/what materials if any/does it work on you or just the party/etc.)

—Weakness Name: You Can't Punch Cthulhu!
—Description: This means you can't even punch a kid; they will say it didn't even hurt them! You can only deal half of physical damage during hand-to-hand combat.


What does this mean? Real combat or Persona combat? Either way it should be made a bit clearer because real world damage isn't covered by numbers.

—Weakness Name: THOU MUST STICK THOU HAND IN THE TV.
—Description: Jokes aside, you start to hear voices due to the side effects of the suppressants while fighting, and will lose 20% of your dexterity during battle until it ends.

This should be a constant weakness once you get your Artificial Persona. Of course buffs can alleviate it but the 20% deficiency should always be in effects so long as you take your drugs.

—Strength Name: Solid Snake
—Description: You are a new spy from FOXHOUND? Nah, you aren't, you are just quiet, like a ninja. This strength decreases the square an enemy can spot you by 1.


Just bear in mind it will only affect you and not others, so if you are in a group and Demons find the group and you're there, they will also be able to target you when combat starts.

Everything else looks good, just make the necessary edits.

Still unsure what this means. Be sure to clarify.

—Strength Name: Marksmanship
—Description: You are pretty good, son! This strength allows you to increase your luck by 15%. However, your magic will decrease by 10% as result of using this strength


The penalty should be put into an actual weakness slot. You should also be losing 15% from your magic stat if you want the 15% boost in luck. They should be balancing out.

—Strength Name: The Alchemist
—Description: By working in a manipulation lab, you are quite good with chemistry. You can create healing items that can cure 20 points of HP, but to do it, you need a topic with exactly 700 words to gather materials, manipulate chemicals and finish the items.


Need a little more clarification on this. How many can you make in a single topic with those words? Can you make them in any situation (dungeon, etc.)?

If your suppressant weakness is meant to be voices and actually affect you then clarify what "losing your focus" means. You keep saying 10% or half but real stuff doesn't come down to numbers. In battle it can so if you want it to affect you there clarify what focus means. Is it luck is it power?

For your alchemist strength are you healing 20 points or 20% cause that is a difference. Depending on what you're healing judges if it needs to be a tougher requirement or not. Also I'm guessing if you use it on yourself you'll suffer an ailment as well? Also have an upper limit on how much you can carry if you want to be able to make five at once.
