Lost in Space

"We...are lost, aren't we...?, the taller one voiced, sighing heavily upon the realization that they had been walking over and over for quite some time and still haven't reached any notable location to settle down.
"No...? We aren't lost, and I'd appreciate if you could be a bit more optimistic about me leading the way here", the younger one glanced at his friend, patiently smiling with the assurance of someone who has everything under control. Though the other couldn't see the smile per se, he was not oblivious to the fact that, yes, they were lost and yes, his friend was lying to avoid some sort of panic. As if Troian would really panic for such petty reasons.
"Have I ever told you how awful of a liar you are?", he added, one hand still placed on Abellard's shoulder. Abel was his guide, he had always been since the day he had lost his vision years before. Ironically, to Troian he was not the most indicate person for a guide, mostly due to his naivety and clueless behavior overall. If anyone knew these two, chances are they'd interpret the opposite: the long-haired fellow being the one who truly needed guidance from the short-haired male, despite the latter being the blind half of the duo.
"Not that I'm admitting to be lying, because I'm not, but you know that, even if we are lost, which we aren't, insistently poking on the case is not gonna help us any further, don't you?", Abellard retorted back, arms crossed as one hand calmly rubbed the side of his temples in an attempt to keep rationality from running away.
"Why don't you simply admit we are lost? I won't chastise you for it!"
"Maybe because we aren't? Now, Troian, once more I'll say, please just let m--", his sentence interrupt right away, thanks to his stomach roaring as if he had swallowed a lion.

"What's it you said last time? Oooooh, right. "I might take you later to an exorcist so we can expunge this demon from your tummy"", Troian replied, a wide mocking grin curling his lips upwards at the same time Abellard quietened down, limiting his actions to adjust his kimono and let the embarrassment take place to tint his face with a growing shade of reddening. Lost and hungry? Worst combination for one night!

And at that moment, a certain person and a certain bird happened to be going by.
Particularly, the man named Henry Mortimier and the albino crow named Shirokarasu.
Henry, when he saw them, appearing to be lost and hungry, couldn't help but call out to them.
"Hey! Do you guys need some food or something? You like you're about to drop dead of exhaustion!" Henry said in a cheerful tone unsuited for the current situation. Shirokarasu, for the most part, just sat on his shoulder, giving the two men a few odd looks, but beyond that, nothing else.

"My name's Henry, and this here is Shirokarasu! What's yours?" Henry said, introducing himself and the crow.

Abellard, the long-haired young man, was the first to notice the newcomer's approach. He wasn't exactly opposed to interacting with strangers, but given the situation, he'd rather not be seen right now. Specially in the middle of an argument with his companion.

"I appreciate your kindness, but we're fine."
"What Abel truly means is that we'll be fine if you can direct us to a stand or something to expur--"
"Troian...", Abellard retorted back to his short-haired friend, a glare that wasn't the most amicable, despite his calm tone, to cut him short. Should Henry be attentive, he'd notice that, despite it, Troian remained unmoved, his face kept ahead and his eyes closed. "You're stepping over the line right now. I already said I'm fine. We are fine!"
"The sound I heard before would say otherwise!", he chucked, mischievously poking on his friend once more.
"Oh please, you'll never let go of it, will you? I can't get you, sometimes you act like an old-fashioned milord, and other times you behave like an ill-mannered bratty chi--"

Another growling sound, indicating the pure demonstration of hunger, echoed between the convo, responsible for shutting them down....but merely for a second before Troian could burst into a laughing fit, as sonorous as his deep voice would allow.

"...Henry it is...? Nice to meet you, even if the circumstances aren't all favorable...", was all Abel could say under Troian's scandalous laughter, in hopes it would leave the embarrassing subject untouched for a while and the stranger would actually look past it. He couldn't stand another person mocking him for his spoiled biological needs.

He couldn't help but laugh.
"Eh. No big deal. In my line of work, I tend to meet my clients under... let's just say that they aren't exactly chatty either." He said.
"So. What do you guys want? It's on me." Henry said.

"I...I don't know, I mean...", Abellard looked back to Troian, unsure of what to do. In one hand, he didn't want to sound impolite to the stranger, but he also didn't feel at easy accepting such kindness from others without necessity. It's not like they were starving to death and lost at all.
"We say 'yes', Mister!", and of course Troian would take the wheels and, placing both hands on Abel's tiny shoulders, he grinned at the man. Facing it as the certainty of defeat, Abellard had no other choice but to sigh in agreement.
"Fine. If Troian says so, I guess I can agree with it..." A man should know when fighting back is fruitless, after all. "Anything is fine, as long as it's not too expensive. I don't wanna abuse your goodwill. Besides, I'll pay for mine, to not make it too heavy on your expenses."
"Who's the old-fashioned now, huh?", and once more his friend poked on him, leaving June even more disconcerted.

"Alrighty! Gimme a sec." Henry said, walking off briefly to a hot dog stand he had seen a while back, and realizing he had not asked them their preferences, decided to get plain ones for them.
"Three hot dogs, please. Two plain, one with mustard." He said, paying for it, and then heading back to them.
"Here ya go. I didn't know what you wanted, so I just got you both plain." he said.
