Heya! I'm your friendly neighborhood Larsinny, a demon here to keep you updated on the current debacles going on within the site! Okay, maybe not debacles... Anyway! The Endymion Plot, our Third Main Plot, has started! We also have our previous plot's part two running next to it for Azores! If you're a new member looking to join the new plot, you will want to choose Endymion. However, if you're interested in our older plot, Azores, you may also join that one aswell. The choice is ultimately up to you! The Dungeon Master of the Azores plot is Grantus and the DM of the current Endymion plot is Philemon.

All templates on the site have been updated, and this also includes the rules aswell. When referring to the rules, please disregard any that say "Old" or "Obsolete" as we are no longer using those rules for the Endymion Plot. Oh, don't be mistaken! I love breaking the rules! But in this case, follow them or erasure!

To those concerned, no it won't affect Azores. And Gabe, the reason why we can't do your idea (raise the threshold and bump it to 3%) is because we are trying to avoid capping too early. This would put us right back where we started. The statistics that Penny put up are stuff we are getting when we get to the levels, not even counting Persona rank ups. Like I have said before, getting 60% at level 35 is silly. We are meant to have a max of 99 for levels, and even if it takes time, so does the rest of the plot. Things like Arcana boosts don't relate to this at all, save for the ones that increase defense and raise the cap, which even then is not what we're talking about.

It is a nerf in the end, and it will make things a little harder, but it is for the long run so players aren't running around at level 30 tanking ridiculous damage. It's supposed to be a slow progression anyway. You get to keep the stats from the levels, and put them in HP/SP if you like if you want to be a tank, but now not everyone can just run around like one unless they put work into it.

Like mentioned before as well, this will be tested with probably a boss fight before it becomes integrated into the rules.

I thought this was added, but even with max 60 defense, Rakukaja would just take effect on a separate deduction of damage than your defense. So instead of adding up the numbers together, you'd take your rakukaja debuff to damage and then your own P(M)end to debuff it further. I'm sure that's the system we were going with, so having a maxed defense didn't make those skills useless anymore.

In regards to the nerf in growth, I don't really care. I'm fine with how it is now, but if you all want to change it, feel free. Regardless of if it grows too fast or not, at the end of the day the enemies will be balanced to the stat regardless. So whatever you all choose, feel free to test it out. If it works for you all, I'll implement it site round.

Fair enough. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter, it just bothered me that it could be an issue. But if a DM doesn't care then I suppose its not a big deal. Maybe I jumped the gun a little lol. But I still think we should consider it down the line depending on what happens. If we don't do anything now, maybe later.

If it must change, then I have no real preference. I am willing to adapt and adjust to whatever system you think is best. I have a preference for option 2, because it seems to make more sense. It seems to me that they're relatively the same, the real question is do we want to increase 1% every level or 2% every other level.

Sooo, yeah...I'm flexible.

Probably gonna run the test fight anyway to mess with the idea even if nothing happens for now. When the poll is done in a week probably.
