PostSubject: A Good-Will Visit (Lewis)   Sat Feb 20, 2016 10:20 pm

It's been a while. And though Shunnosuke knew who Lewis was, he wondered if he was doing the right thing. After all, it has been two years. Would a sudden reappearance be well received, he wondered? Maybe not. But maybe yes, who knows. Lewis had always been receptive to him and kind at his own way. And weird as it sounds, Shunnosuke did feel sympathy for him. Not anymore because of him getting back at Rinna, for he didn't even remember the lady anymore, but because he thought the guy was...lonely. No wonders, after the crime he committed two years before, it was rather plausible that he was considered a scum in Azores. To top it off, his only family, Ariston didn't seem to be too affectionate for a brother and it's unlikely the man had any real friends in the islands. Now the question was, would Lewis still remember him? Was he even detained, still?

Hello there. I need an information, is Lewis Rhodes still a prisoner here? I'm an old friend... — He asked right away to the receptionist in duty today, though his tone was something considered rather bashful. Yep, awkwardness all the way. It was still early that day, being the time morning on its midway to the noon, and therefore likely the police station wouldn't be as crowded, or so he hoped for. It would definitely be embarrassing for his family if many people pictured him entering such place, and one thing Shunnosuke didn't want in his return to Azores is to attract unnecessary attention. Oh no, he didn't need that.

The minute Shunnosuke walked in, everyone seemed to be in a bit of a rush and panic. There seemed to be a commotion going on, and the receptionist  looked up at Shunnosuke and shook her head. "There's an altercation going on, please return to your seat" they said. Though the request would sound more like a demand, but before Shunnosuke could response, he too would be able to see the discolored sky, the stars, and soon the broadcast on a nearby TV and radio from Isla herself. The mood in the prison even in the face of what the man was just told began to change. Everyone began to stop doing whatever they were doing, and soon following, the rumblings and swirls of water around all islands began to fill their ears with the sound of something perilous. Soon though, the panic became something even faster, as other visitors were beginning to leave, and a couple running to the counter past Shunnosuke to ask the receptionist who told them the same message. Meanwhile, through an open door several officers were passing the desk to the room beyond where noises could be heard. One officer however stopped and glanced at Shunnosuke. Qwentyn Harris pursed his lips.

He didn't know what to say, and instead moved on, while the door behind him was left open. He had something on his mind, but now was not the time; there were far more immediate dangers to get to.

He frowned, clearly confused. Altercation...? Over what? Now that made him curious. Did the prisoners decide to rebel and it ended violently or something? More important, how impolite this receptionist is. He was about to ask heir name, if it wasn't for...

...Principal...Isla...? — He muttered weakly. It's been a while since the last he saw her, and back then she had just taken the rule over Zela, back when Shunnosuke was still an attendant. So now she's the Minister, he heard. He would otherwise be happy for her, after all he had always admired a strong woman in such influential and relevant position, if it weren't for the bigger picture. And then his shock from Isla's meteoric rise in power changed from a shock to what the broadcast caught next. — . . . — No. Not again. This was...another strike of mass chaos like the one two years before and he was at a complete loss this time. He wasn't even listening to Isla's speech and recommendations, anymore. In his mind, there was only space for concern and a dreadful feeling he couldn't shake off that whatever happened two years ago, it didn't go away entirely with Hyde's death.

Up to this point it was no wonder the station was unusually stormy and it didn't look like the seemingly brainwashed receptionist would be of assistance. Then again, the cops in duty today seemed to busy to provide any information whatsoever, or direct Shun to the reason of his visit. He immediately reminded of Charles; the android was an officer here, wasn't he? But he didn't seem nowhere to be found. Not among the ones passing by him right now. On the other hand, there was one cop present who seemed to know him very well. No matter how long it takes, Shunosuke wasn't the one to forget a face and a name, let alone the face and the name of a person who clearly disliked and distrusted his presence.

Qwentyn... — He said, exchanging glances with the officer. The remembrance was mutual, and that only made the eerie sensation and atmosphere seem thicker than it was already. Regardless, the man was probably busy with his duties and so he quickly departed, not giving him much more than awkward stares. Too awkward in Shun's book. He did know Qwentyn was not fond of his presence there, but...there was more to it than just feeling uneasy towards one person, isn't it? — Hm... — In any case, pondering aside, Shunnosuke ignored the receptionist's command and simply followed him back to the door. He was too curious about the stares received, Qwentyn himself alongside his group of officers and the bizarre noises to not poke his nose into it. Lewis did cross his thoughts, but he could wait. Unless he has something to do with today's commotion but he wouldn't know, would he?

As Shunnosuke walked through the doors, he would find that everyone was too busy to stop him. He could see up ahead a window and a hallway. Through the window was a cafeteria that had a few tables in the middle turned over, and nearby was a door that led into the room, though Shunnosuke could clearly see that several inmates were holding the doors closed from the inside while the officers were trying to pull it open. Apparently it was either being pulled back or jammed by something. In the middle of the room however, was a single man, speaking to one of the inmates before pulling his head back to dodge a swing that the inmate laid on them.

It was Lewis Rhodes. The convict may have gone under a few changes in regards to his hair and hygiene, but Shunnosuke couldn't deny that it was the same man he met some time ago. He seemed to be talked and waving his hand slightly, like he was having some act, or perhaps taunting, before he sidestepped clumsily, nearly falling but avoiding another punch. He pointed towards a nearby window to the outside, which lead to the open sea, but also contained the view of the sky, and whirlpool nearby. Was the sky the cause of the altercation? Well no, the sky came after the news right? So what was the issue?

It seemed Shunnosuke would have to be inside to hear what was going on. Lewis turned to the side to glance at Shunnosuke, whose eyes blinked in a little surprise before he was blindsided by another inmate punching him and sending him to the floor nearby. He attempted to get up, but the inmates were trying to hold him down and lay kicks and punches on his person. The fight would continue, but Qwentyn nearby would grab Shunnosuke's arm.

"Don't explain yourself. But you and I both know what we need to get inside. We can't open fire inside the room since there are still civilians in there." He said with a hushed tone towards him. He was clearly not intending to let go without his cooperation, and honestly, he kind of needed it. With all the chaos going on he wasn't surprised to see things like this get out of hand. He also did not forget Shunnosuke's powers. With a supernatural case like last year, he had to essentially memorize anything and anyone involved. Outside the water was rising, and soon what was beneath would break free.

PostSubject: Re: A Good-Will Visit (Lewis)   Tue Feb 23, 2016 8:38 am

So, Lewis. He figured he would eventually find him, but not so soon. It was a pity the man remained detained there, but on the other side, he did improve his looks. Shaved the awful goatee and cut his hair shorter. Not that he thought of Lewis as ugly before, but he appears much more clean than before. And, dare say, handsome. An odd thought, given the circumstance, and even odder was that Lewis recognized him, which made the teen a bit relaxed. After all, he was the reason for his visit, and so Shunnosuke, with a thin smile, raised his hand in mention to wave at him...

..only to see him getting punched and thrown to the ground, much to the Kurosawa's despair. — W-what are they doing to him?? Hey, stop you!! — He tapped the windows, rather violently, to attract the inmates' attention, but given the whole situation, it was unlikely that would happen. On the other hand, Qwentyn's attention was apparently focused on Shunnosuke himself. And judging by the way he was eager to grab the younger's arm and go straight to the point, he apparently needed him to mend the present disorder. — You're hurting my arm... — That said, he glanced again through the window. Lewis being severely and cowardly beaten by many. What could he do to help Qwentyn and the other offices to get inside without causing harm? And what could he do to prevent Lewis from getting murdered? — Fine, but let me go. Now... — He had to think, but damn, this was hard when under pressure. How would he be able to help? He did know how to command people but not how to tone down a rebellion, it wasn't even his job to begin with! Qwentyn is the officer here! Unless Qwentyn referred to his powers. Still...he didn't know he was able to summon Andromeda or Astraea here and, given their supportive nature, there's little they could do. Unless...

Should the officer comply to his request, Shunnosuke would stare at the door which the other police workers were trying to pull open. — Please, move out of the way. — He said to all, and if there weren't any officers in front of him, assuming they really did step aside as ordered, Shunnosuke would stretch his hands forward and, therefore, his weapon, a chain with a small spiked ball at its extremity, would materialize right in his hands. Swirling it a bit, a gesture that gave him a bit of time to think straight through this and come up with a decision. The Kurosawa inhaled...exhaled...and then he did what he could, he threw the chain at the door using the best of his strength. He didn't mean to cause any big damage but who would care about a door in light of more urgent matters, right?

He let him go, frowning. He didn't mean to harm him of course. He stood back with the rest and watched Shunnosuke get to work. Of course the door went down and completely off the hinges like it was nothing, and several of the cops were shocked, but of course Qwentyn wasn't. He had an idea about what people with Personas were capable of, so he hardly expected anything less. Once the door was down the cops ran in to quite easily restrain the inmates, while Lewis helped himself up and propped his body over a nearby table. He had a few bruises, and a bloodied lip, but it didn't at first glance seem like anything was broken. He watched as the inmates were taken out of the room, while several officers and Qwentyn remained inside. Lewis took a glance out the window before looking at Shunnosuke. Outside, the noises were getting louder, and soon the windows would shatter, and a strange shadow flooded the floor, before materializing into something completely different from a Shadow Shunnosuke may remember.

Lewis watched as the happening went on, and quickly ran to the open area where the door once was in order to protect the opening from the Demon escaping, while waving the others to run past him for safety. Of course, he knew it served no purpose, but there were people on the other side, and he had to stall for time. He didn't know what he was doing honestly, though he turned to Shunnosuke with a short grin. "Hey there....I guess it's been a while. Now either get out of here, help me, or help the others escape. I may not last long, since I'm kinda useless. This thing will clobber me soo-Ugh?!" He suddenly clutched his head as though something was tugging on parts of his mind. It was a headache, in a cathartic sense. The pain was sort or relieving to him. It had been a while since he had much contact with those he liked. His brother had seen him not so long ago which was nice; but everyone forgot about him; which he didn't particularly mind. He went through each day here without much of a care in anything really. But this feeling.....he was still here; and maybe he could do something. He wasn't the greatest person in the world, in fact he failed himself and those he loved. But that didn't mean he couldn't try to do something right. This simple act of kindness stirred something in him, and set what he was turning into in a new course. He was here, he was alive!

An azure aura surrounded him, and the sound of shattered glass sounded throughout the room....

Skill Used:

This was the strange power everyone else had. He wondered why he never got it until now. It was liberating in a way. His Persona's arm would grow to more than double his size and similar to the demonic arm Lewis once had, and charge at the Demon, slashing both them and the wall behind them, destroying it and sending the demon outside. Of course Lewis himself was fairly certain it wouldn't keep it at bay for long. He smirked a bit and ran towards the opening and stood at the edge, looking over at the water. He could jump and attempt to flee and see what the issue was; however he didn't consider it for a second at first. For one, he was here to make sure everything was alright. And two, below he could see strange images in the water of a destroyed world, and images of other realms. They felt a lot like the rifts from before, except on a massive scale. Just what was down there?

Once the door was down, Shunnosuke stepped back to let the police officers enter the room and do their job like they're supposed to. He himself would be the last to enter, even though he was uncertain whether this was a good decision or not. There wasn't much for him to do, mainly out of a bit of a shock given the chaotic scene. Everything was happening quite too fast, a lot of disorder at the same time. Lewis seemed alright, and Shun wanted to reach out to him, but he also had to worry about the sudden burst from the window and...for the love of Lady Gaga, something that looked like a Shadow materializing right in front of his eyes. Right in the middle of civillians. Why...? How's that possible? Mere doubts haunting his mind by the brief moment he had a glimpse of rationality. — ...? — This was probably the time Shunnosuke should step forward and make sure everything was under control. After all he was an experienced Persona user. He could handle an Invading Shadow, couldn't he? But...how? He remember Personas weren't usable in the real world, he grieved over that fact for quite some time. Before he would say something, the teen looked back to Lewis, not trying to assure him that he could, indeed, manage the shadow as intended, but...surprised. Did they beat his head too? Or...judging by that sudden blue aura, was there something deeper to it? Something like a...Persona? — ... — He smirked, holding inside the chuckles. So this is how it is. The last of the Rhodes has the Persona power too and, by the looks of it, he probably has just awakened in light. That short groan meant it, though in his case awakening and developing his powers wasn't so painful as to make the teenager express pain over it.

So be it. He now had an ally to share the resolve and manage this effectively, or at least try, no matter how much limited are his abilities, by now he was pretty experienced with the topic. And if Lewis could summon his, so could Shun. — I'd be offended if you were seriously suggesting me to leave now. Did you at least miss me after so long? — He replied with a smug shrug, leaving his intentions quite clear: he was not going back. Not now. — Astraea... — He muttered the name, the same name he had heard previously in a dream. He knew it was this mysterious winged lady's name and, up to now, he never had the chance to actually meet her. This was the chance for the divine lady to make a glorious debut, worth of the patron of a Kurosawa. Once she was there, floating and twirling in the air, Astraea pointed her twin batons right at the demon, shooting something similar to a rainbow-colored beam at her immediately after Lewis's persona's assault. — Everybody, get out! Mr. Qwentyn, take everyone out and leave this to us! Now! — He shouted, taking the opportunity to assist everybody on their way out and, a bit behind Lewis while holding firmly his soulbound weapon, grant that the Shadow would not pass through them by chance and possibly dash against the civilians. Normally he shouldn't care about the lives of prisoners...but to an extent, he did care. They were still humans who didn't deserve a gruesome death like that.

Lewis smirked at Shunnosuke's response. Ever as curt and smooth as always. It was as though the last time he saw him he had gotten his ass handed to him by him and their friends. "Well, you can stick around, but I don't want you to tear your shirt like before." He said without looking at him and the ocean in front of him, as well as the Demon who was recovering from the beating Lewis gave her earlier. Shunnosuke was behind him which was fine. If he wanted to help that was up to him, but he wasn't sure where to go from here besides beat up whatever was trying to kill him. The glow in the water got stronger, as the images got clearer. He could see strange faces of people he didn't know. For a split second, a young man showed up.

And that wasn't all, he saw around him in a strange ruined city. The images passed over in the span of a few seconds before returning to its shimmering glow. Lewis was suspicious. This obviously had something to do with the Demons showing up, but what would happen from here?

Not much could be considered as the Demon returned, and began to fly headlong towards them. Lewis turned to Shunnosuke. "Hey! If you wanna help again great, but maybe you should focus on figuring out what's happening. I'm still kind of convicted here. I'll join you if you just hurry up and get out." he warned. He of course figured it would fall on deaf ears, but it was his chance; he had a good chance to escape if he wanted to, and even he could sense the strange phenomena in the water before him. Was it worth sticking around, or should he move on?

Don't worry. I'll be extra careful with my fashion sense this time. — It was odd that Lewis still remembered it. Old memories, funny memories. At least now they were funny, but back then, having even a stupid shirt torn apart was hardly an enjoying experience at all. Once he looked over Lewis's shoulder, he could see what was happening outside. It was pretty much like the return of the rifts, except that now they were in the ocean. Granted that Shunnosuke hardly had any swimming abilities, jumping would barely be a reasonable option. He wouldn't risk his life simply throwing himself  in a water abyss only to investigate what are those images forming right in front of their eyes. He saw it before. Debris, ruined cities, destroyed buildings, nothing new. What triggered the young guy's interested was another thing, a very specific aparition he was not expecting at all.

...! — He gasped, unable to hide his surprise. "Nozomi...?", he thought, visibly affected by the image he just saw. Of course the Kichida was different and he had grown slightly, as expected from a two-year difference, but Shunnosuke could absolutely recognize him. It was Nozomi, no doubt. The question, or rather, questions are: why? What was he doing down there? How did he get in there?

I will once I finish this Shadow or whatever it is we have here. I don't mean to sound impolite, but this is something only a veteran can handle. No offense. — He chuckled contemptuously to Lewis returning the friendly provocations, but in all seriousness, the Kurosawa was worried. If it weren't for Ariston's brother's voice, Shunnosuke would remain staring at the ocean, as the simple sight of Nozomi made him distressed and shook his mindset. "Concentrate, Shunnosuke, concentrate", he repeated inside, only to himself. If once he was firm to not even risk his safety jumping in the glowing waters, now he wasn't so sure anymore.
