Heya! I'm your friendly neighborhood Larsinny, a demon here to keep you updated on the current debacles going on within the site! Okay, maybe not debacles... Anyway! The Endymion Plot, our Third Main Plot, has started! We also have our previous plot's part two running next to it for Azores! If you're a new member looking to join the new plot, you will want to choose Endymion. However, if you're interested in our older plot, Azores, you may also join that one aswell. The choice is ultimately up to you! The Dungeon Master of the Azores plot is Grantus and the DM of the current Endymion plot is Philemon.

All templates on the site have been updated, and this also includes the rules aswell. When referring to the rules, please disregard any that say "Old" or "Obsolete" as we are no longer using those rules for the Endymion Plot. Oh, don't be mistaken! I love breaking the rules! But in this case, follow them or erasure!

Be sure to constantly check the update thread for any changes to the boards. You can find it ->Here<-

Irina frowned deeply at the seamless chain of events. The world shaking, the Core rumbling, and this sinking feeling... this feeling that she had to reach the center at all costs. However, the Shadow grit her teeth. It wouldn't behoove her to lose her composure now, after all. Silently, she drew her blade and extended her arm forward. A red mist lifted around the woman's body, and a dark red card floated down to her blade's tip, obscured by the darkness released from the mist.

"You are absolutely correct, Milan, we need to move, and quickly." With those words, she drew her blade upwards, cutting the card in two, just as a dark red light engulfed her body. The next moment, the mist cleared, and the woman's now glowing, soft pinkish skin reflected her more animal-like look. Yet, she still held her falchion tightly as she stared at the opposing demons.

"As such, I will aid in doing just that..." The Shadow let her sword vanish into mist and got up, meanwhile placing her hands to her chest. She then spoke a couple of strange foreign words as she gathered a blue orb of energy in her closed fists, before extending them outwards with a flourish.

"Draw out all the strength you can muster! Rebel against the forces holding you back!"

An energy wave washed over both her allies and her enemies, granting them all a source of inspiration in the back of their minds, raising their morale, letting them pit their full might against each other in battle.

After all, it wouldn't be a match if the opponent didn't fight as well.

Claire recoiled from the toxic mist almost instinctively, however it proved useless as the dark haze filled her lungs regardless. She retched as she felt bile begin to rise in her throat, it's sour and rancid taste did nothing to compliment the deathly order of the mist. Though her insides churned with pain and nausea, it did little to quell her anger, if anything all it did was give her a target.

The glow of her eyes pierced the fog for a moment, before she lunged for the Basilisk ready to wordlessly end it's offensive existence.

It seems diplomacy and business didn't apply to snake demons. Oh well, with a smirk she'd crack her knuckles. There seemed to be more accelerated business that needed attending too now. If the core was in danger, they couldn't really diddle daddle back here with these rather uncivil demons.

"Tsk tsk tsk. Nasty demons, you shouldn't have done that. Our little child and pet deserve better treatment!" Eva said in a mocking tone. 'Kid cover your ears because papa is going to use some top tier french words, 'kay?" He added as he turned to Aniyna. In a matter of seconds he summoned his persona and glared at his opponents. 'Root in hell you bastards."

The threat was vanquished with their combined efforts. Such ease was expected of them. If they were not even able to dispatch these insignificant threats, then their inclusion into this organization was not warranted and their own abilities would be overestimated. As such, that would be a tremendous embarrassment as a whole. But, of course, it was an easy job taking down these demons.

With the demons gone, Milan swung his katana to the side into a chiburi-like motion as if to flick off imaginary blood from the blade. Then he sheathed it back inside the sheath. It wasn't like the katana was drenched in scarlet or any kind of ichor. It was common practice to do so anyway. Futsunushi was also dismissed into motes of blue light that disappeared just as the blade clicked into the sheath.

"Let's hurry. I have a bad feeling right now and I'm sure it's mutual between all of you here at this point."

The swordsman didn't bother to elaborate how he was having a bad feeling about something he did not know. He wasn't the most vocable of this motley crew to begin with. So trying to continue speaking was only going to waste time for all of them involved. However, there was no way none of them didn't feel the quake and saw the world was flickering. Something was wrong. Insignificant Core fluctuations or not, this was something that truly warranted a swift and thorough investigation. Milan was beginning to wish these worries would not be realized. But so far, reality didn't want to grant him that for some reason. He really wanted to take the day off to oil and maintain the new blades he just bought off from a new dealer.

He kept the sheathed soulbound blade nestled near his waist with his left hand holding the base near the guard. With all that said and done, he would continue onward with the rest of the group as his geta clacked against the floor with each step. Whatever was ahead of them, they would have to face it.

Soon they, or rather Milan and some people, would arrive at some clearing with what looked like a portal of sorts. Were they here before? Whatever the case, it looked like they would have to make a decision. But Milan would leave it to the rest to make it since he was always that kind of guy after all...

Claire's fist began to ache slightly... Why? There seemed to be no real reason for it to be in any pain so why did it seem to hurt more and more with every passing second... a splatter of something rather warm and wet pulled her from her trance and dragged her consciousness back to the extra planer realm that constituted reality for the moment. With a blink she looked down to where her stone covered fist lay. The chunky and splattered remains of the Basilisk cooled slightly as the blood and viscera seeped in between the cracks in her rock arm and tickled the skin underneath. The small crater that was left behind slowly filled with the soupy liquid making almost a nice dish to collect what remained of the poor beast. Perhaps Clair had gone a little over board with her smashing... Frankly the demon was probably dead before the second hit with all that the rest of the group did, but she had felt the need to be sure and kept on going... Though this did explain the pain in her hand, she had been pounding the stone floor for some time instead of the beast...

“I think we overdid it again... oh geez... I sure hope no one has to clean that up...” Epimethius's worried voice rang in Claire's head making it ache a little. With out a second thought she raised her arm from the stained crater and dispelled her fist and began to fallow the groups movements...

The swordsmen seemed to be in somewhat of a rush, understandable given the dire nature of their situation and task. The bad feeling he had assumed Claire and the rest of the group had wasn't to far off... at lest in her case. She felt like they had spent a bit to much time in that last fight and that now they were gunna pay for it. But no sense in getting all worked up about it. Claire let her eyes dim as she silently fallowed behind the two who deemed it necessary to lead the pack. She would however, give Aniyna a confused glance when he stopped short of the next room. Claire would blink twice at him before moving on and into the upcoming room.

Whatever was ahead they would have to deal with when it came. As for now all that really mattered was moving ahead on the only path that was available to them.

"Heh those demons didn't stand a chance. Perhaps they're keeping their stronger guys further in... though that would be stupid, no? It's not like we're in a video game." Eva complained and without waiting for the rest of his comrades he switched the topic. "Oh well, we can skip philosophy for another day. Weaboo lead the way I'm right behind you, or should I say right-aru behind-aru, baka?"

Once the demons were finally gone, Irina took a deep breath, still in her transformed self. The Shadow stood still for a few seconds, letting the others go ahead of her. During this time, she pondered... a few things. First and foremost, those demons went down fairly easily. Second, the group simply went ahead without her, not even bothering to question what was taking her so long. So much for a team.

Despite that, she took another deep breath and let her transformation vanish with another flash, and she shook her green hair out with a sigh. "Thank you very much for waiting for me... remind me to do the same for you next time." She muttered this to herself, as low as she could, before summoning her falchion and running ahead to where the others were. So far, the swordsman seemed to be leading the group somewhere, and she was fine with that for now. As long as someone knew where to go.

"I'd be careful with what you say if I were you, Eva. I'm fairly sure we don't need any more inner strife, and your comments aren't helping." Irina let out a scowl as she passed the others in a rush, oblivious to the fact that she herself was adding to the negative atmosphere. Even if she did notice, though, who was she to care? She had a job to do, and what they needed least was someone spouting nonsense like that. She would stop it, no matter what it took.

Nevertheless, she wouldn't be able to reach Milan in only a single dash, but she imagined that another one would be more than enough. Once she reached Adyina's position, the woman frowned deeply as she stared at the young man. She then let out yet another sigh and looked forward to their destination.

"We're withstanding this world fairly well so far. Let's try to keep that going. Your performance this last fight was quite satisfying too. I know praise-worthy behavior when I see it." Her words were to no-one in particular, but her stare remained fixed on Milan and Claire as they walked ahead. She then turned around to face Tamara and smirked softly. She and Eva naturally looked like the ones that contributed the most, but Irina was most impressed with the demon, not the Rogue. Well, anyhow, they needed to keep going, this wasn't the time to dilly-dally.
