| Question. Can I choose another respawn point upon death? Also what can Escape Routes do in this Devil Survivor Event? Could they be used as some teleport thing where you go back to your respawn point? I dunno. I doubt it. But if that's allowed, can they have cooldowns? |

| If it's a point that no one else has spawned from, sure.
And no, escape route isn't applicable in this event.

| Welp, I'm back again. So I've been wondering if a system about part-time work (and actual work for adult characters) could be implemented. With consideration that the canon game itself does make use of it. Anyways, I was thinking that instead of just VC, these jobs can provide an "item" that can be traded in for VC.
I suppose we can call this item "paycheck". Each paycheck can be of different grades depending on how many word count has been put into it. And depending on these grades, they can be traded in for direct amount of VC which is also dependent on the quality of the paycheck.
Besides this, perhaps the paychecks can also serve as a raffle ticket? We can always use the randomizer to determine what we can get. The paycheck grading would correlate on how many numbers we can choose to win a prize (item or good amount of VC). That way no one will try to frequent the dungeons or do the missions so many times that it may get stifling when it comes to moderating them while also giving an added appeal to your character's everyday life.
So what do you say? | |

| BWAHAHAH, make things easier for you guys to get VC when you already have so many ways of earning it? Surely you jest! This place is supposed to run itself and if we add something like that, that we have to constantly check, it takes our time and puts it into something that's completely not necessary. Part time / Full time work is for plot advancement and personal preference. Making a system based around it for people to get more money and just to stock up on VC when I personally believe they should work for it, is a severe No-Go.
I know this is harsh, but no way.
I also despise people being rewarded for crapping out a super long post that has no context to anything worth noting. This looks like one of those situations.
I must say it was a good suggestion though. We do try to keep things in terms of gameplay from the game, but merely the essentials. Adding every little thing, such as personality stats, part time work paychecks, etc does nothing but add extra work that is truly unneeded towards the rp experience. Especially since you could just RP that out yourself without the needed aesthetic value slapped on top. If you want to expand your character's everyday life, you shouldn't need a VC amount on top to do it.
If you can think of another way personal plot advancement solo topics can get more appeal without handing out free money on top, then sure I'm all ears. But I'm adamant about not rewarding someone just because they know how to write a long post about themselves and narrate their own story without the interjection of another. Perhaps we could have a sort of "raffle" ticket deal. To where once every so months, someone can write a personal plot development topic with their character and if it's good, they receive a ticket. Then at the end of the month we do a raffle with the randomnizer and the winner receives a prize if they are chosen.

| I do believe I read something on boosts and how after a certain point they do not become effective. Could any of the staff remind me of the what this threshold is? | |

| I was wondering if a timeline of what happened so far on the forum plot would be very useful for new members. That way they don't have that much hassle to figure out what's happening at the moment. | |

| Clarification on Soul Bound (soulbound weapon / Persona) damage and Real World Damage (such has environmental hazards)
Alright, so just to clear some things up. Real world objects can damage characters, but it won't be based on stats. It'll be based on real damage. So let's say you take a bat to the ribs. There's a chance you can crack your ribs among other things. This is real world damage, and won't hurt your stats (soul) but your actual physical body. Anything that is not a soulbound weapon or Persona skill will do this kind of damage.
Now soulbound attacks such as skills or soulbound weapons attack the soul directly. They are infinitely stronger than environmental weapons, so if you were to take a soulbound weapon like a sword and clash it with a real world sword, it'd slice through it like bread on butter, into the enemy. However, instead of doing physical damage, it would do stat damage to the opponent. It's more powerful and can slice through real world armor, clothes, etc with ease.
Any questions on that clarification?

| Is there any possibility of an option to sell back items to the Velvet Commodities to get a percentage of the cost back in Vc? Nanami a.k.a Uzbekistan and I had spoken of it and it was just a thought to mention if that would ever be a thing or if it was not going to happen for various reasons? | |

| It could be implemented, but it'd be as much as a 25% give back, cause they're cheap like that. | |

| I was wondering if, since we settled that I have your permission to start 'awakened', I could have your permission to go to Limbo already.
It's true that I haven't finished those three threads, but I have them on tracks and, with some luck (god have mercy on me I'm not left hangin'), they will be all finished within 2-3 weeks.
... I'm just way too impatient for my own good and I really, REALLY want to tackle on Limbo.
