Appearance:

Gabriel is about six feet tall and weighs at 173 lb, much of which is muscle under his older appearance. He has a slightly wrinkled face, with a somehow constant shadow on his face. His hair is slicked backwards towards his shoulder similar to a mane, and his skin is white with a slight tan hue. He looks a lot like a grizzled elder man, who comes in half asleep with dark circles under his eyes, and a stern expression. His eyes are his strongest feature, as piercing as a light, as though whatever he was looking at he was examining. His clothing can vary depending on the situation, but more often than not, he comes in with casual business clothing, if albeit a little messy.

Personality: You could say Gabriel is a bit of a no nonsense type. Not exactly a stick in the mud, but someone who is on the less humorous end of the spectrum, and a bit comedically cynical. He is a tired and weary individual who has a disdain for being pushed around and following someone. He has a knack for a twisted sort of leadership, perhaps by fear however the main issue with him is that while he doesn't exactly work well with others, he definitely doesn't want to take orders. He is very headstrong and determined, and will never not see a cause through. Gabriel can speak, and perhaps even hold a conversation, but he may not like you unless you show him something new and exciting. However even then he may not care much, as due to the life he has lived and the losses he has been dealt, he is very hard to impress. Regardless, he will not be afraid to stand up for himself if he thinks there is a problem, and will happily take something he knows is rightfully his. He thinks more with his head and less with his heart, which perhaps makes him intelligent, but it still keeps him from seeing anything emotionally, so he simply chooses the right option that simply makes sense.

On the other hand, a part of him is torn inside; himself missing some part he once had. A part of him is trying to do the right thing, and it constantly eggs at him, but it easily gets overpowered by the hardened man that has taken over. After losing the family that kept him alight in a bright world, he has now become grey, and has no longer chosen to get by as a hero, but to climb to the top for himself. However, he is training to become a soldier, so perhaps there is a hidden light in him that prays for the comfort of home, or perhaps it is a new layer of grey that wants to fight and destroy the Sfalma that lurk beyond. Until then, he merely waits, and works, and waits, and works some more. It eats at him, to where it's nearly become an obsession to see what lies beyond. He keeps to himself and rarely goes anywhere that isn't his home or work. People tend to avoid him, and the ones that wish to say something for or against him are too afraid to speak to him. Gabriel is half a man; missing a piece to become whole, but the remaining fragment of him has turned into something ugly...

—Description: He may not be the most persuasive man in the world, but he can definitely unnerve people with his mannerisms and actions in order to get them talking. Why try persuasion when intimidation is so much easier?

—Description: As suggested with his looks and build, the man is pretty tough. Good luck defeating him in a contest of strength, as he can overpower anyone easily. He certainly cannot be overpowered by anything normal were it to try and fight him.

—Strength Name: The Instincts of a Monster
—Description: His reflexes are well-toned, and are sharpened to the point where he can react with quick timing. While they are not on the level of supernatural, they can certainly stand up and overcome the everyman with ease.

—Strength Name: The Senses of a Monster
—Description: The magic in the world is attuned with his body, and enhances one of his senses, mainly his sense to abnormal levels. He can track someone with wolf-like scents. If the person has touched something and it has not been cleansed by something, he can use it to track someone using the scent like a dog would.

—Strength Name: The Speed of a Monster
—Description: His speed is well above average, and he could run down anyone in a race, or a chase. His speed also makes it easier for him to stick to the front of a pack if he needs to scout ahead.

—Weakness Name: The Selfishness of a Monster
—Description: He comes first very often, and will start out that way. In his world, he has little time for others now that he has had only himself to look after for. He is only used to his own demands, and so even in a team, he will always either voice his own opinion and try to get things to go his own way, or if all else fails, work on his own to reach his desired ends. It takes a good reason for him to cooperate, namely things that could concern his own well-being.

—Description: He fights brutally and effectively, but he fights recklessly. He may try to control it, but he has difficulty fighting to conserve his strength, which can put everyone in danger, including his own allies if they are not careful.

—Description: It's easy to get him riled up in a fight, and even outside one. He is prone to a little bit of anger, and as such can be tricked into acting recklessly. This means that he has a 15% higher chance of being inflicted with Rage.

—Description: He will never leave from a fight unless forced to from outside circumstances or perhaps a fear of death. However even then he may not run, because Gabriel has an odd sense of either pride or a battle instinct that simply prevents him from running from a challenge, be it a fight in a domestic area, or out on the field. The Background

History: Gabriel's story while not long, begins for him at age twenty-five, when he was a young man, attempting to work for the Agricultural Department. He managed to get a job, before choosing to move up into armory due to family tradition, as many of them were in weapons or training as soldiers. It was not long before his family found themselves with a job as an expedition. They went out, for a long time. In fact, they have been out for so long, that they have still not returned when he left. Though he was then an adult, he only had his family to live with him. And so, he had to work from the ground up, retiring from the agriculture due to having more trouble dealing with it, and a growing desire for violence. He has more hidden troubles, but of those, this is a major reason that brought him to where he is today. Gabriel will remain there, until an opportunity comes to pull him out of his rut...
