**ALERT!** After a rather eventful evening at Maksim's Party, three teenagers seems to have gone missing. The doors of Vault Olympia have been breached due to a to this day unknown assailant, who sabotaged the doors locking systems, allowing demons to make entry. Thanks to the excellent defensive capabilities of the Vault's Security drones, the Attack was put to an end, and the invading monsters fled to the outside. Right now, the Doors of Vault Olympia are currently open, allowing any survivors of the fall to seek shelter within the Vault's safe halls. What Vault Security officials think of this development remains unclear as the Chief of Police and Security of Olympia refused to leave a comment. This is Rianara, of Olympia news, signing out.

The site is entering a new era as our team of mods works tirelessly on updating old and obsolete information threads and links. Over the Summer, we aim to make many changes to the forum, including writing a comprehensive beginners' guide to help new players accommodate to the combat and other rp systems in place here.

Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] Empty
PostSubject: Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku]   Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] EmptyMon Aug 17, 2015 12:02 am

Shion stood behind a window, looking up at the sky from the streets of San Malarus. Well... this was it now. Just yesterday, she had found valuable clues, and now, she had called on those she trusted the most to come aid her. Only them could know her now... Rita Arisato was missing, that was a fact now. One she intended to keep through to the end. It was the morning, she didn't expect either of them to show up soon... regardless, Paradise was currently close, but Kristina could be seen wandering around. Even if it was closed, though, they could still knock and see... she had asked her friend to close it down today for a reason.

"Heh... such a waste of space." The brunette looked over at the looming green star sitting above... really, she just felt like it was staring back at her, some times. Weird. Nevertheless, she stepped down, hanging her coat on the wall next to the stairs, and waited for them at the cafe. Sharaku Rikei, one of the people she called, got a message on his cell phone late at night... one she had sent after her night with Lia. It detailed a time, at least, 10 AM, and it was currently... 8:30. To Lia, she had just said early morning or some such, so she wasn't expecting anyone quite yet. Best to wait and see though.

Sitting down on a bench at the counter, Shion called Kristina over with her hand, closing her eyes tiredly. She had barely gotten any sleep yesterday... "Kristina... mind fixing me up a glass of water?" While she said this, the brunette rubbed her eyes sleepily, though the cat maid didn't seem that much better off herself. The short girl held a hand to her neck, rubbing it... jeez, that helmet was heavy. And constricting. Bunching all her hair inside it was... tough as hell."On it, on it, Shyan-dono." She too spoke almost blabbing as she grabbed two glasses and filled them both up with water that was inside a clear Tupperware jar. Waiting around, both proceeded to drink... refreshed.

Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku]   Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] EmptyMon Aug 17, 2015 1:33 pm

Well, this at least meant that Rita didn't get herself killed during her school break in. Though, she must have done something, if she wanted to meet so fast afterwards. It wasn't long since they last parted at all. Whatever she wanted must have been important in some way. Hopefully, it wasn't bad. Sharaku had enough annoyances on his mind with that Rally already. If she brought something similar in, it wouldn't be funny anymore. Well, frankly, he had no idea how the Rally actually ended, as he didn't bother to stay for the finale, but he doubted the people actually listened anyway. Still, if people did die because of recklessness, it would be Simon and Rinna's fault, not his. So whatever for now. It wasn't like it would help any if he had stayed and had them possibly attack him for opposing them in some way.

Either way, it's not like he had a different choice right now. He wouldn't find out what she did unless he came around, would he? Though, this once he wished it was actually a place that was closer. It was still morning. He didn't exactly feel like running around. Eh. At least it wasn't God knows where. Once getting there, he would raise an eyebrow at the door, however. Hmm. He kind of only glanced over the message back then, so he didn't remember much else besides the time. Well, he didn't always understand what Rita was trying to do, in all honesty. For now, he would just stick with trying to open the door and getting in. Hopefully, the place wasn't locked, because that would be a bit annoying. He did try to be mostly on time. But as said, he wasn't really trying to figure out what Rita's deal was. It was nearly impossible sometimes.

Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku]   Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] EmptyMon Aug 17, 2015 5:45 pm

It wasn't like the door'd be hard to open, it wasn't locked in any way and just went in easily as Sharaku opened it. Though, just as the first time, if he walked in, a small bell would ring on top of the door. This seemed to trigger an audible deep breath from behind the counter, though, like someone was stretching right after waking up. Shion looked over at the man who just entered, flashing a smile.

Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] KDPXIhF

"Ah, you're here, I'm glad you weren't both held up." It was still sleepy, but Sharaku, who had already been with her so much could definitely recognize it as Rita's voice. What should be strange to him, though, was her appearance. Getting up, the brunette stepped around the counter, stumbling lightly as she just woke up. It was a light sleep, sure, but it still caused her to feel groggy. She hadn't slept all night, after all...

"Sorry to call you here on such short notice, Sharaku. And, uh, sorry to not give you a warning that I was changing my style. Stuff happened... I guess." Putting her left hand on the counter, Shion seemed to wince a bit as the pain jolted through her arm. Since she was wearing a short sleeved shirt, Sharaku could see a prominent bandage wrapped around her arm, reaching her elbow. That gash was nothing to scoff at... thing still hurt like a bitch, but at least Kristina had helped her get it disinfected and ready to close. There was no doubt that'd leave a scar, though.

"Why don't we sit down? I have a lot of stuff I want you to see." Digging into her shorts' pocket, the brunette took out two pieces of paper, each folded neatly in half, and a smaller, rounder and definitely harder card. This was mostly what she wanted to discuss with Sharaku; her findings. There were interesting things on these two slivers of paper... very interesting things.

PostSubject: Re: Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku]   Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] EmptyMon Aug 17, 2015 6:29 pm

Ah, good. He wasn't being locked out. A decent start to this, at least. He didn't really register the bell, sort of expecting that already. It wasn't the first time he was here, and several other buildings had that kind of system too. He would, however blink at the other sound, looking towards the counter. He proceeded to stare at the girl a bit confusedly for a moment. He didn't take too long to put two and two together, though. He did recognize the voice. Plus, seeing as she was the only person around, it made sense. Who else would be talking to him if it was Rita calling him over? Other than that, the place was obviously empty anyway. He would blink again, responding after a while. With a question. ''Both?'' Actually, he was wondering anyway. He was alone here so far. It didn't seem like she was calling the whole team from before. For whatever reason she had in her head.

''I'll live...as much as mornings aren't my thing.''
She seemed to be sleepy herself. She could have always called it later in the day? Or was it that important? Eh, maybe. He would huff a bit. ''And I see. You're lucky I'm not dumb enough to actually think you're someone else.'' Technically. Even if he did not recognize her voice...it was still obvious enough with the planned meeting and all, and her being the only person around. That...and while she did have a hair and eye change, some things wouldn't change. Like height and body type. Not that he actively kept track of those things, but it did help. He sure would be more skeptical if she suddenly turned 6 feet tall or more. But...someone would probably be slow enough not to catch on at all, most likely.

He would glance at her bandage for a moment, but he opted to not ask right away. Perhaps she would tell him on her own. ''Well, then I suppose I should since I'm already there.'', he'd follow after her, wherever she'd choose to sit down. ''You sure you're awake enough?'', he'd ask a bit jokingly in midst. Sure looked like she just woke up.

Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku]   Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] EmptyMon Aug 17, 2015 6:47 pm

Shion nodded at Sharaku. "Yeah, both. Lia was supposed to come as well to meet with us, but she got held up by work... you're the only two I can trust with seeing me like this for now. I have... personal reasons for not inviting Oki and Ri. Mostly, it's because I'm lacking a cellphone right now, but still." She chuckled, her eyes still fluttering. Really... while Oki and Ri were good people, hiding meant nobody knowing where you were. The more people knew who she was, the greater the risk of her being found out. You never knew, with these rumors.

"Sorry, I needed to do it right now. I need to get this out of the way so I can take a power nap before heading to Penecia. Trust me, I hate mornings too." She moved towards the nearest table, sitting down with a light thud and slumping forward slightly. "Yeah, yeah. I bet even you wouldn't bat an eye if you saw me out on the streets." The brunette smiled, but seemed to close her eyes as she looked down at the papers in her hand. She set them out neatly, turning the card face-up so it was obvious what it was... clearly, the picture of Simon Alba on its face said enough.

"I suppose. I'm fine enough, just haven't gotten enough sleep during the night. At most, two or three hours, didn't get to train today either... which is lame." She put a hand over her mouth as she yawned lightly, then rubbed both her eyes with balled fists. "Anyway, I told you about how I was going to Zela, right? I found two things that are pretty useful. Pick one, I guess." On the left of the ID Card was a neatly folded smooth sheet of paper, while on the right sat another folded sheet, this one seemingly with a lot more creases. It looked like it was crumpled then restored, at least, though it was sensible... Shion had found it crumpled, after all.

Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku]   Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] EmptyMon Aug 17, 2015 8:09 pm

Lia...? Oh wait, right. He knew that name. Rita's..girlfriend, yes? Well, assuming they were actually dating. He didn't really know much. But Rita obviously liked her a lot from the few moments she spoke of her before in any of their conversations. ''Personal reasons? Well, if you say so...Though, if you don't have a cellphone, then how did you message me?'' If she couldn't get to Oki and Rin because of that, then she would logically not be able to do that with him. He wasn't too badly surprised, however. He kind of suspected she didn't want to fully work along those two, even at the last meeting. He just didn't know to what extent it went. Well, all in all...it did sort of work for him. He had an easier time in smaller work pairs, so he wouldn't really complain for now.

Eh, he did not hate mornings. He just disliked complicated activities early in the morning. He didn't have a problem getting up early, but doing something beyond simple stuff could be an annoyance. ''Penecia? Are you planning something?'', he' inquire, discarding the morning dicsussion. He would snort, sticking his tongue at her. ''For one, I don't check out everyone I pass by on the street, so maybe I wouldn't just because of that.'' In reality, he had no idea. She..did look different yes, but maybe if he took the time to look at her closely...then again, without knowing she was actually doing a change of style, he probably wouldn't have a reason to do that to begin with. Ah well.

His expression would turn into a slight frown soon enough, as he saw the picture. That guy again? He was still a bit irked over that Rally. He would catch her words despite his thoughts wandering, however. ''Hm? What was so important that you did it at night instead of sleep...? Being tired won't make you pay attention well...'' He would shrug it off if she declined to answer though, as it possibly wasn't his business. He felt like asking to be sure, still. He would look between the two..items. ''Does it matter?'' She probably planned to show him both anyway. ''Hm. The left one..?'' It's not like he had any idea what was what either way.

Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku]   Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] EmptyMon Aug 17, 2015 8:22 pm

Shion blinked for a moment... actually, that was right, why didn't she message them before? Maybe she wasn't thinking much when she did it. "Technically, I lost my cellphone after messaging you. You saw the message arrived during the night, right? Though, I guess I could have asked them to come right away... but..." She frowned, looking away. Was it obvious? Trust issues aside, she didn't want to deal with a lot of people... knowing her. Not with what she had planned.

The brunette sighed. "Last night, I met with Lia again, and came to the conclusion that she definitely needs all the training she can get if I want her to help me without being in danger. I stopped putting it off, finally, so this afternoon, I'm diving with her into Alternate Penecia." She scratched the back of her head. "Honestly, that's what I wanted to hear. If people can't tell it's me at a glance, better yet. You'd be surprised how good that actually is." Shion smiled and chuckled. Just having a surface disguise was enough, she didn't need much more to pass unnoticed, did she?

"Does taking these count? I couldn't rightfully get onto school property in board daylight. I'd need more than a disguise after that, I'd need some way to escape the police at every corner." She kinda pouted a bit, biting her lip. Frankly put, she wasn't proud of what happened at the school... though seemingly subconsciously, her hand moved to brush over her bandages on her arm. It still stung. "You can't read them both at a time, now can you? But that one... after you read it, I'm going to ask you a favor." Taking it in her hand, the brunette unfolded it and handed it to him. The note read at a small area in sloppy handwriting:

"Hey...I guess this is it. This will be the last message I send you as I can't stand by and let you work with the ones bring so much stress onto the students and people on the islands. You and I both know that it's their fault as much as the Primordials. I know it sucks but the next time we see each other will be as enemies. Maybe we could've been together; we both wanted it. But I don't think the way they do. I think you're too forgiving of them, and you had forgotten what being Human felt like. If that's how you feel I guess I can't blame you. There's no hard feelings on my end. I won't ever think I'll of you, just please understand. I promise I'll-"

And afterwards, it seemed as if it was ripped or damaged from something. Shion had to admit, after reading it herself for the first time, she kinda wondered what happened to the rest of it... Nevertheless, the brunette looked silently at Sharaku if he chose to read it, judging his reaction with a serious expression.

Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku]   Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] EmptyMon Aug 17, 2015 9:39 pm

Sharaku would smile thinly. She could have, but she hadn't. So he was most likely right. She didn't really want them around, at least right now. ''You didn't really want them to be here. Am I right?'' Though, it perhaps didn't matter as much. Whatever the answer, it didn't change the fact that they were not here. In a way, he prefered it this way. It would get messy with people like Rin and Oki added into the mix. He could foresee that. The last time was not so bad, but they were all kind of different, and it would cause some friction when it might not be needed.

''Ah, I see. Good luck then. Better not get into trouble there.'' Neither of them were on the other side of Penecia before, right? So who knew what all could be found there. He had literally no idea, aside from the fact that people were there, and it was worse than Malstu, as it was actually in the form of war. He would shrug vaguely. ''Perhaps so. I figure barely anyone pays other people special attention for no reason.'' So yes, it would most likely suit her. He would frown a bit. ''I guess so...though it seems you didn't escape trouble either way.'' He doubted she had that bandage just for show.

Well, he knew he couldn't read both at the same time, obviously. ''Alright...?'' What could she possibly want from him that was related to a piece of paper..? Eh, guess he'd see. At any rate, he would take the offered paper, reading as best as he could with the handwriting. It took him rereading it once more before he started to frown. This..had to do with Simon yes? Logically. Hmm. If he considered what he heard before...among other things...''Hmm...this is...'', he would trail off, however...looking towards Rita. ''What do you want me to do with it, though?''

Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku]   Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] EmptyMon Aug 17, 2015 9:52 pm

She sighed. "I guess not. It hurts to say it for myself but... I know who the people I trust are." Shion narrowed her eyes and looked off to the side, frowning. It wasn't as much of a 'not getting along' thing, more so, Shion simply didn't want them around. Not because they might cause friction, not because they were bad people, because they weren't, Rita simply... didn't trust them enough...

"I'll keep myself safe, don't worry. If anything too bad comes up, I'll warp out in an instant." Digging into her pocket, the brunette brought out a small gem like the one Sharaku had used to warp them to safety when she collapsed during that exploration a while ago. "Exactly." A disguise was nothing more than that, after all. In the end, she was still the same person under it. "Well... there's a reason I had to change my looks, after all." She smiled wryly, looking away. If Sharaku looked close enough or just happened to notice it, he could definitely see a thin line of red on the surface of the bandages. So no, it wasn't completely closed, but at least she was fine for the moment. It'd heal with time.

Regardless, Shion waited until Sharaku spoke again. "Yeah. I'm pretty sure that's a letter Alba was intending on sending Angel. There's something we're not seeing here, I know that much. From what Angel said when I asked about him, and now from this... Am I wrong in not considering them human...?" The brunette's mouth curled into a pout as she held her head in one arm. That last part was almost whispered out. "Anyway, back to the main point. I hate to make you into a delivery boy, but I need you to take that to Angel and find out whatever you can from her. Even if she turns you away, I... think it's more beneficial for us to know than for her to keep it hidden. I heard from Kristina you met with Simon downtown, though. Mind telling me how that went? I'm mostly assuming, though, since she told me someone fitting his description was there and then you went there too." Assumptions went a long way, it wasn't like Rita got explicit confirmation on whether Sharaku had actually gone there or not, but hey, worth a question.

Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku]   Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] EmptyTue Aug 18, 2015 9:22 am

Was that so? He did expect something similar, but still...''Is there an exact reason you have to trust me, then?'' Sure, they were mostly moving in the same direction, but they weren't the same completely. On the other hand, he could see why she'd think him a better choice than the other two. Not even he knew them that thoroughly, and their base goals differed much more. He liked to know what her reasonse were, regardless.

''Well then. As long as you don't get yourself killed somehow...''
Even with an item, there was a risk afterall. She was only going with one other person. In case of bad luck, both of them could get knocked down and out at the same time. Warping out wouldn't be much of an option if anything like that happened, would it now? He would look at her in thought. ''So, you got into a fight there? Are they actually guarding the school then?'' Of course, he did consider that, but honestly, it seemed a bit counterproductive. They could at least help get the sand away, but apparently that was far from a priority. They'd just prowl around the place, as if that solved anything.

He kept staring at the piece of paper, listening to Rita with one ear. Angel, eh? Well, on a second thought, it did make sense. From what Simon had sort of told him, there had been another person that became an Angel with him in the past. It could have been her. She was different from others in some way, which could be explained by this. He would look away from the paper with a slight frown as she posed that question. ''Technically, you're not wrong. Angel is definitely not human now, as far as I know. And Simon used to not be one for a while. So both of them were not human at some point in time.'' With Angel still not being one even now. Unless there was another catch to it. But he assumed that she stayed the same since she had become one of the Angels, even after Simon quit. This note seemed to imply so even more.

He would raise an eyebrow at her. Delivery boy? For some reason, it made him think of pizza. And he didn't even order stuff like that. Ah well. ''I suppose I can try that.'' She could very well just refuse, but there was a downside to everything. He already knew a good deal, so there was always a chance of finding a different source if this did not work out. There was Simon too...but he wasn't sure he would want to go chase that guy. He would sigh. ''You could say I met him, yes. As much as you can meet someone through a yelling crowd of people. Apparently, he along with another woman are trying to gather random people to go take on both the Primordials and the Angels to end this all. They caused quite the ruckus on the street. It seems Simon is under the impression that the only way to save the world, is to take them all out. I think trying to get inexperienced people off the street for something like that is a stupid idea, however. Other than that, it seems we only have until the end of summer before the Primoridals finalize their plan, and everything falls down. If his information can be trusted.'', he'd elaborate, trying to make it short. She was free to ask additional questions if she so wished. He just didn't want to throw every little detail at her in one big mess.

Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku]   Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] EmptyTue Aug 18, 2015 12:08 pm

The brunette fidgeted for a bit, unsure of what to say. "Exact reason? I... don't really know. I just feel like you're the person I can most easily confide in out of our team. And, well, even outside that, there's only a handful more I can say I trust to this degree." Who did Rita trust completely? Hell, for starters, there was Kitty... the girl had now not only helped her escape from the school, but she also gave Rita this disguise. Then there was Lia, an obvious person. After last night... it would be hypocritical to say she didn't trust her, and impossible, at that. Even just thinking about it made her blush thinly now.

"I'll be careful regardless. Nero can now heal everyone that's with me at the same time, I'll make sure that we're both in good shape at all times." It was good that she had someone to worry for her, but with Lia and Shion together, there wasn't much that could happen to them. Not to mention Hou-ou could bring back fallen others in a pinch, while Nero could immediately get them back to full right afterwards. "Guarding... I wouldn't say guarding. The people I met weren't guards, that's for sure. They looked like kids. Hell, not even much older than me, I suspect. If anything, I imagine they're part of a gang, there to loot the place while it's abandoned, I just happened to get unlucky and go there on the same day." Even then, Shion still knew to be careful. You never knew with these people... even some woman that chased after her spoke of a boss man or something, now who'd that be? Someone the brunette didn't want to waste time meeting, that was for sure.

"Is it right not to consider them human, though? I mean, if I can believe what's in that letter, from what I've seen with Angel's reactions to Simon... I think she's still very human inside, much like him. But here's the thing, should I still entrust my future to them? I'm not sure of their circumstances, but they gave up their humanity when they became Angels, I'm sure, is it still right of me to let them decide?" This was a dilemma for her. On one hand, Shion very much so wanted to view both Simon and Angel as humans, but on the other hand, she firmly believed that someone who isn't human, or gave up their humanity, should take a stand for humans. "Humans need to decide on their own how they want to live..." She looked off to the side as Sharaku spoke more, figuring he had already agreed to deliver the letter... but as he continued, the brunette only seemed to frown deeper and deeper.

"Take them out? Why? I can understand killing the Primordials, they're a direct threat to our world, but it's unnecessary to kill the Angels. So far, they've been passive aside from, well... Angel herself. But... using civilians? I can understand something from this. A lot of people gained new power once the Broadcast aired, I can accept that. Is it right to just take them all to fight such a threat, though? If I wasn't so sure Simon was intelligent, I'd say he was grasping at straws, so what gives...?" The deadline didn't affect her. It was early, they had plenty of time to get ready and do all they needed to do before it came. Plus, she already had various steps in mind for what to do, it only came to putting them in practice.

"I think I have one last thing to say about Simon... when I fought alongside him, I saw him use a Persona. If Angel is indeed the other person that became an Angel with him, could that mean she has a Persona too...?" Shion shook her head and grabbed the other, more creased sheet, handing it to Sharaku. "Well, that doesn't matter much. Here, I think this'll at least interest you." Unfolding the sheet, the brunette presented it to Sharaku, leaving him to interpret it as he would. The note read, in the same sloppy handwriting:

Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku]   Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] EmptyTue Aug 18, 2015 4:08 pm

''Alright, I'll take that.'' It's not like Sharaku had the intention of grilling her about it. He was just curious, and it seemed this was the best answer he was about to get from her. Technically speaking, he probably wouldn't be able to explain why he trusted someone either, so he couldn't hold it against her. It was complicated in its own way.

''Good luck then.'' It wasn't as if he could say more. She would go regardless of what he said, even in case he chose to disagree with the idea. As long as she knew what she was doing, he had no problem with what she was doing on her free time. Though, he did know she was capable of getting herself into some trouble, seeing in what state she came back from her little school venture. She was injured, and went as far as changing her appearace just because of that. So it obviously didn't go very smoothly, whatever plans she originally had in mind. ''So just some teenagers then? How did they manage to hurt you? I wouldn't have thought you would let someone like that harm you.'' Was she that reckless or what? He knew she was rather strong, and could work with the supernatural on top of it. From her words, he assumed those 'kids' were just normal. Ah well.

He would hum a bit. ''That depends on what principles you believe in, no? Does having had a taste of inhuman power mean one isn't human anymore? That's a question we can't answer clearly. It comes down to what you yourself perceive as right. There is a difference between the two. Angel used to be human, and she is one of the Angels now. Simon was the same, but he decided to quit and go back to human again. But he still apparently retains some of their power, so I wouldn't say he is purely human.'', he would state, shrugging a bit. ''I personally prefer to decide myself. I don't even know either of them well at all. Why would I let them decide something as big?'' Maybe he would let someone he knew closely influence his decision and all...but, he barely knew Angel and Simon. Why would he just singlehandedly let them go broke?

He would huff. ''For the exact same reason you just said. Because humanity should decide themselves, and nor Primordials, nor Angels are humans. That, and he claims that the Angels aren't as nice as we think. That they are a danger too. Other than that...apparently it's the fact that their Wishes are 'brainwashing'. As if we make one of them come true, the Angel would basically rewrite our ideals in our heads, so that everyone follows without question.'' Which, was technically a bad thing, yes. But he didn't really want to make their Wishes true anyway. ''I don't really know what his deal is. The claim was that everyone should be given a chance to make their stand and fight for their freedom. I'm pretty sure many people on that street did not even have a Persona at all. Simon says he has the power to destroy both Angels and Primordials, so everyone was going crazy over it. But frankly, it seems strange to me. For how the two of them claimed to be for humanity, they were pretty much saying that whoever disagrees with them is the enemy, and that those who side with an Angel should be dealt with too. That's..basically excluding the part of humanity that doesn't decide to side with them.'', he would shrug. Honestly, he wasn't following most of that. Sure, perhaps in a way, their goal wasn't bad, but the way they were doing it was questionable.

He would frown in thought. ''Well...there is a difference between them. Angel stayed with them after joining...Simon quit his Angel status eventually. It may be the reason why he can have a Persona now. That's how I see it, at least.'' Could Angel have a Persona? He didn't really think so, but everything was possible. Those two were an oddity, both among humans and Angels. ''Hm?'', he would take the other paper. Now what's this? He would frown at the list. He wasn't sure about a few names, but he did recognize most of them there. But what..? ''Hm. Strange. I have no idea why would he think this...or how. I'm pretty sure a few of these people have not met him in the past at all. But..he seems to know everyone...he knew my full name without me introducing myself...'' Was Simon snooping or something?

Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku]   Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] EmptySun Aug 23, 2015 10:33 pm

Shion didn't find much point in continuing the conversation about trust... really, she had said everything, so after Sharaku spoke, she just sighed. There was too much on her mind to worry about little things like that. Who you trusted was who you thought you should trust, and really, someone needed to earn it when it came to the brunette. Sharaku did just that. DJ and Oki, on the other hand... it wasn't hard to figure out.

"I'll be careful. Lia's with me so I won't do anything crazy." A dungeon run would go alright as long as she kept the safety of everyone in mind. Lia was going with her, and Shion's top priority was keeping her safe. Easy enough, most likely. Though, what Sharaku said next made her frown. "Teenagers... I wouldn't say they were teenagers. Young, yes, but older than I am right now. At least adults. I hate to say it, but I got careless, and one I encountered ended up calling for help. He had a knife, I tried to knock him out but... well, this happened." The brunette brought her bandaged arm up, putting a hand over the gash. When using it directly, it still hurt, but thankfully, it wasn't something that'd cripple her. It'd make a nasty scar, but that was something she could deal with.

"Personally... I don't think I can accept them so easily. No matter how good their intentions, someone's actions are what defines who they are. Maybe they can still think like humans, and I can see Angel as closer to us than other Angels... but someone who's willing to use innocents to fight against such a big threat will never get my respect, much less my consideration. But what do I know?" In the end, she was only human. She didn't know the Angels personally, or their overarching intentions... she didn't need to. Humans' lives were for humans to decide what to do with. Humanity's future should be left to humanity. "Angel... is she really the path to go on? I think she's the closest to my goal, but... I don't know if what she said makes sense." Shion closed her eyes and sighed. She was too tired to be thinking so much about this.

"I want proof of what he says. Not from you... I believe what you're saying is true. You already deserve that. But if he's claiming that Angels aren't what we think they are, I want to know that for sure. But then again... I don't think that makes much sense. We've known about this Event for a long time now, people should know this is what's been going on. Brainwashing, maybe it is, but in the end, it's just a quicker path to what diplomacy achieves. Sure, it's forceful, but it gets the same results... even despite that, I guess the ends don't justify the means." The brunette thought for a while about this, keeping quiet. Humans... "Humanity is foolish... but that's what makes someone human. I won't be going against them personally, or against anyone... but their goals are something I want to stop. Maybe I am for humanity, and so they claim to be themselves. Factions separate people, and that's an ugly thing. Sharaku, do you think humans should decide on their own? And if someone is against you, are they your enemy? Humanity isn't a group... it's a total. Being aligned with an Angel doesn't stop you from being human. I want to meet with him, with Simon Alba, because I don't understand his goal." Rita reached for her eye, pulling out her left contact lens and looking at Sharaku. She was still under there. The disguise was superficial and obvious, yet her blood red eyes were still there.

"'A Persona is a representation of your true self, your most inner thoughts. It is you.' From that point, why would Angel not be able to summon a Persona? Being an Angel doesn't cut it to me. Especially after that battle..." Call her crazy, but Shion definitely felt as if there was something else in that battle... maybe she couldn't have known normally, but it felt... odd. Maybe because she was purposefully holding back just enough to see what Angel could do. If she wanted, Rita could have very well fought her directly and pulled out all the stops. Getting a hit in wouldn't have been hard. But now... there was still something compelling about her.

"I can say some of those people are students and teachers at Zela, and he'd know them that way... but Naomi-nee? Well... Kristina told me there was someone matching her description there. Was Naomi-nee actually at the Rally? If so, why? What's going on...?" This was all nerve-wracking... what reason did Simon have to put all these names here? She knew he'd have known about Lia from the fight against Ananke, but some people... agh, too confusing.

Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku]   Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] EmptyMon Aug 24, 2015 6:07 am

Was that so? ''So random people are running around the school nowadays? Guess that shows how much the government cares about that place. Or anyone, for that matter.'' Sharaku would just shrug a bit. What to say to that? In the end, it seemed that the people who should logically be in charge of protecting the islands normally weren't doing even the things they possibly could. For some reason. And then you're supposed to want to rely on the police with something. Unless those guys she mentioned were with them, but from the description it seemed unlikely. It sounded more like some gang trying to do their stuff at the now abandoned school. Not that he had any proof, however.

Hm. ''I personally do not agree with their ways of doing things either, but that doesn't mean I'm going to disrespect them. Angels or humans, we are all living beings despite our differences. And humans often pick an immoral way of solving things themselves. Simply having the wrong view of the situation can cause someone to take a bad route despite having good intentions. I'd rather not fully judge them without understanding the full deal first. I've seen firsthand how cruel humans themselves can be, and it doesn't mean I completely hate them now, because I never truly knew them personally to begin with.'' Sure, Angels were different...but that didn't immediately make them a huge suspicion or something. You don't give your dog or cat the eyes just because they are not human when they manage to do something wrong, do you? He did think that what was being done was not the right approach, but they still didn't know enough about the other side to draw a real conclusion. It didn't feel right to just not respect or consider someone because of what you see on the outside for the most part. He could be a bit harsh or bitter at times, but that tended to be just an 'in the moment' reaction to things most of the time. ''If it helps you in any way, I can't say I intend on following Angel down to a T. As a matter of fact, the main reason why I joined her is because it's one of the best ways to try understanding the Angels, and she is probably the closest to what I could actually accept right now. Still, ultimately I think this Event shouldn't even exist. For humanity or not, the change is still being done through them, and not our own efforts. If humanity is meant to be able to grow, we shouldn't need an Event that causes so much suffering to accomplish said goal.'' It defeated the purpose in a rather unseemly way. Amongst other matters.

''He says he knows so much because he used to be one of them before. And apparently quit after he found out what they were planning to do. Now he wants to get rid of all the supernatural beings.'' A simple line of action, in a way. ''Hmm. I wouldn't really say so. Diplomacy doesn't have to be by force, and people would always have the choice to think their way afterwards and possibly oppose. What they would do...would literally give no one a choice to even think about protesting against the Wish if it was to somehow win. I can't see that as right. So, I think that the ends don't really justify the means. Most of the time, at least.'' There was a difference between the two. Diplomacy can achieve results...but it sure wouldn't be as blunt as basically tweaking people's thoughts to be the way you want them to. That's just a way of assesing control, in basic terms.

He would look somewhere to the side in thought. ''First question, yes. The second, no. It's human nature to be individualistic to a degree. In my opinion, it's simply narrow-minded to believe that when someone disgrees with your exact plan of action, they should be considered an enemy. There are always different solutions to one problem. I believe Simon makes a point that being aligned with an Angel obviously means that you support them, which is apparently automatically against humanity. That's how I saw it. Although, it was mostly his female partner in crime that kept saying such things.'', he would shrug a bit. Not that it wasn't logical thinking to a degree, but it could always be faulty. As for meeting the guy...well, she was always free to try. Maybe he would allow her to find him. Who knows.

He would huff. ''Perhaps simply because of the fact that not everyone can? Just for example, I cannot summon a Persona either. There is little proof as to whether she could or not in the end. If you really care about that so much, perhaps you should simply ask her.'' He didn't exactly see how that mattered right now. Whether Angel could wield a Persona or not....what would that change? It was just a different way of harnessing power. He would frown a little. ''I know everyone on the list except for the teachers and your girlfriend, and I'm pretty sure that except for you and Rin, neither of them actually know Simon personally. So, even if he did see them at school for example, I am not sure how would he draw a conclusion as to whether to trust them or not without actually interacting with them for real.'' Well, assuming the two initials were the people he thought they were. Regardless of that, he would most likely know if any of the rest have had some indepth conversations with the guy that could have involved this situation. As for the other part...''I'm not...sure. To be honest, the crowd was rather big and loud. I did not really take notice whether Naomi was there. If she was, then she must have been not so talkative. But, I can see why she would be there. The woman that works with Simon. She was the one who actually organized the whole riot from what I'm seeing. Her name is Rinna Lauderdale. She is one of the two that had been kidnapped back then, if you remember. She and Naomi are fairly good friends as far as I know. Therefore, it sounds plausible that she would have invited Naomi to be there.'' It did make sense with that in mind. But he had been kind of busy dealing with Jack and that weirdo guy that was yelling along with Rinna and Simon, so he didn't have the time to literally scan everyone's faces. And if Naomi chose to stand in the shade mostly, then it wouldn't have been hard to overlook her in a way. Too much at once is too much.

Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku]   Heaven Clouds' Gathering [Sharaku] EmptyTue Aug 25, 2015 3:23 am

"Random? Well, I guess... I dunno much about them, but they seemed organized enough. And really... it's not like they didn't have powers." The brunette looked at Sharaku as her eyes glowed for a brief moment, one red, the other bright blue. "Light, huh...? Well, anyway, this skill, with my eyes. It lets me find people's elemental weaknesses and such. A normal person shouldn't have them... but the guy I scanned with them did." Hopefully that was enough of an explanation from her. It wasn't like they were 'random people', but they weren't patrols either. They were there for a reason, but they weren't supposed to be there, that much was for sure.

"Sharaku, it isn't that I'll disrespect Angels or humans. I mean that someone who knows the situation, but still insists on using innocents for his own devices shouldn't be... well, I don't think they should be allowed to continue. I don't respect that ideology, no-one should force innocent people to fight, it's... it's why I've wanted to keep Lia away from this for so long." Shion frowned, gritting her teeth. "Well... that's more reassuring. There'll always be suspicion in me, I can't say I'll ever trust someone fully right off the bat, but I'll give anyone the benefit of the doubt. I follow the same thing in regards to androids... I dunno how to think of either of them, but then again, I guess I never met one of the latter." She sighed, but was satisfied. "I don't know which path is best for humans. Sharaku, if you had to pick between two choices at the end of this... would you simply wipe away the event, making humanity continue living just as they have been with no change... or reset this world? Reset... almost everything. The Earth would be brand new, with the survivors of the Event, with no idea planted in their mind but their own, leading it towards the future. I don't know which is better for us. They both end up having humans create a world themselves, but one relies on the Event to make a reality. I'm torn." Though she agreed with Sharaku, there still were those paths to go down on. Which would she pick? She knew this wouldn't be as easy of a choice, but Sharaku would certainly be an influence on her ultimate decision.

"Well, from the name Fallen Angel, I could figure the first part... but wiping out all supernatural beings? That sounds far fetched to me, truth be told. Even someone who has the power to destroy both the Angels and the Primordials can't rightfully be able to destroy everything supernatural. Heh... he talks big for someone who couldn't even dent Ananke back then." The brunette sighed, then shook her head. "Well, with the Angels, humans still have a choice. They are told preemptively what the wish is, they can either accept it or not. In the end, it's up to us... or it would be. I can see the difference, those who don't agree, if they lose, are forced into accepting the Wish, no questions asked. That's why it's brainwashing, right? Well, I won't take that. But that doesn't mean Angels deserve to die because they enforce that." That's what Shion believed, at least. There was a reason she chose this name... Kusanagi. Ame-no-Murakumo. Her will was strong, but her path was torn at the moment, where would fate lead her?

"I can agree with you, Sharaku. Simon's logic seems flawed, though. If people align themselves with an Angel, it's apparently to aid humanity, not be against it. This is a case of perspectives, only those that don't accept any view can really understand why being against each other like this is foolish. Aligning yourself with an Angel means being against all other Angels, that's all, but can't we all unite under a single banner for humanity? To take care of this threat together, instead of bickering because we're not all following the same deity? God, this is starting to sound more and more like a religious debate." Literally, after realizing it, Shion facepalmed, not exactly able to understand the foolishness of all this. In the end, it was a matter of 'my shiny person in the sky is better than yours', and people wanted to be in different groups because of it. So what? If you were agnostic, did you see all religious people as being against humanity itself? All Gods bore different ideals, all Angels bore different ideals, why should this be any different? Couldn't they, you know... coexist? What a pain in the ass. Wait a second. "Did you say female partner?" Shion looked up at Sharaku, raising an eyebrow.

"Agh, maybe it doesn't matter. In the end, she's just another person to keep in mind, I guess... I'll ask her when I go see her." The brunette ran a finger of her bangs, leaning back as she looked at the ceiling. "It's possible... Wait. Hah... hahahaha. I know how he did it." She smirked, looking back down. "Simon can turn invisible. I saw him do it during the fight with Ananke, he tried to strike the Primordial with his Soulbound and appeared after it was broken. He's been following them around all this time. Which means he's been following us too. Hahahaha... Oh man." The brunette smirked, putting a hand up as her sword appeared on it, immediately put up against the back of her head so as to defend it from anything that might happen. "Sharaku... you never know what he'll do. If he truly is following us, I'd advise we watch our backs from now on. Hell, I'm sure even Naomi-nee needs to know this. Everyone needs to. It doesn't matter if she was at the Rally anymore or not." Rita lost her smile as she carefully put her contact lens back on with the same hand.
