Appearance:

Though Chance is older than any human on Earth, s/he takes the appearance of a rather young person and stands at the height of 5'4. Like those of their sisters and brothers in the Velvet Room, s/he holds a pair of amber eyes and slightly pale skin. When it comes to hair, it is a dark shade of green which gives him/her an odd look. Without needing to say a word, one can't tell if Chance is either male or female. His/Her appearance can lead people to either conclusion, as s/he does both mannerisms a woman and a man would do aswell. With the loose detective like clothing, no one can really get a good look at their figure either, making it hard to determine what sort of body is hiding beneath the clothing. When it comes to expressions, Chance is usually smiling if not laughing with any guests that may visit the Velvet Room. Though s/he keeps their distance, they are very easy going in appearance, and can sometimes be seen as aloof when something they've never seen before comes into the picture.

Now after leaving the Velvet Room, Chance sports a white top with a blue vest, tan trousers, and brown loafers to match. S/he even wears a tie and has a blue bow tied to a strand of his/her hair on the left side.

Personality:

Chance is easy going and very kind to those who interact with him/her. S/he takes her/his job seriously of assisting guests and always uses honorific when mentioning or speaking to them, or him/her creators. When it comes to business, Chance is very formal and will not hesitate to spread information if people are willing to pay him/her for his/her services. Being of the Hermit Arcana, it is easy to say Chance is one who is interested by Wisdom and Knowledge. Perhaps this is the main reason s/he went towards the Information route in the Velvet Room when it comes to assisting guests. However, though Chance takes his/her role seriously, s/he does wish to find their own meaning of life. Being in the Velvet Room and helping various guest find their own has made him/her very anxious in walking the same path. Just because s/he is an artificial creation, does that mean s/he has no purpose? That's what Chance constantly asks him/herself as time goes on. S/he constantly finds him/herself contemplating his/her duties when wanting to find more about him/herself without angering either Philemon or Igor. Chance is not afraid to venture out of the Velvet Room into the Human World or Limbo, but does not make it a habit as s/he does not wish to become too involved in humanities affairs directly. Having most of his/her life from a TV show, Chance may recite famous movie lines or show lines in various situations thinking it's a regular phrase to use in common life.

Now with more freedom, Chance attempts to learn all s/he can while s/he has it. They will hardly ever put down a request to go out somewhere while attempting to learn the world his/her previous guest showed them back those many years ago.

—Description: This Velvet Room Attendant is very Charismatic and easy to like. S/He does lend a hand whenever s/he finds the time, and has an aura about her/him that makes her/him easy trusting.

—Weakness Name: Ignorance of Society's wonders
—Description: Though Chance knows about people, s/he knows nothing of the technologies they have created over ages. Everything s/he knows of their world has come from a book and s/he has just now recently began to leave the Velvet Room.

—Description: Even though Chance does wish to help the guests of the Velvet Room, s/he is strongly obedient to Igor and Philemon. He will not do anything they will not allow, and will make sure not to get extremely close to the guests that visit them within the Room.

The Background

History:

Chance was artificially created to resemble a young detective from old Shounen Manga in Japan. During the time of his/her creation, the guests that visited the Velvet Room could relate with him/her and also trusted in him/her because of the image s/he was moulded in. As time continued on, The Velvet Room began to have many more Attendants created to assist the various guests that entered the room. As time went on, so did the appearance of the Attendants to fit that time period. As this happened, Chance find his/her use to dwindle as the other Attendants took over the brunt of the work. To be sure s/he could still be of some use for future generations, s/he would go out into the world and look to gain a new skill for helping the various guests that came into the Velvet Room. It took quite awhile, but his/her calling was finally found. An Information Broken was always needed, no matter what time period one lived in. The demand for them would always be high, as people needed them sometimes to continue their work or live their lives.

Once becoming an Information Broker, Chance began to interact with humans much more than before. As s/he left the more easy jobs to his brothers and sisters within the Velvet Room, s/he looked to get her/his hands dirty by going out in the world and investigating various leads. Living the dream of an Detective s/he had seen on TV so long ago, it was like a dream come true to be of use to the people again. However, something still eats away at his/her conscious, and it's the fact that they have no purpose if the guests no longer needs him/her. Chance desperately wishes to find his/her own place in the world, yet has no idea how.

After the events in Limbo s/he was allowed to leave the Velvet Room and learn more of the human world to add to their journals. Now traveling the globe, Chance attempts to record as much information as possible to share with his/her family back at home. Through his journey, he had even achieved a Persona of his own.
