Masquerade Ball [Kazuya]

Tonight, is the night! tonight is the Masquerade Ball but unfortunately you need an escort to enter the ball and you can't also enter the ball without a muse. It means partners must come to the ball and have a good time. Koharu is now wonder who will she call to be an escort?

~How about Jack? No, I can't. I don't have his number but he got mine~

~Well how about Raian? I don't think he is the guy who would go to those kind of things. Also, I don't have his number as well~

~Alphonse is also good but I think he shall not leave Maria alone so yeah he is busy~

~Well that must mean Kazuya is the only one left to invite. Yeah I will be sending a text message to him~

Koharu would then take her phone from the pocket and started texting this message:

~Hey Kazuya meet me at my house. Please wear your fanciest dress that you have. I will be attending a masquerade ball but I need an escort to go in. So I thought that you would be my escort. If you don't mind that is. Reply now ASAP~

Koharu would then lay on her bed waiting for Kazuya's reply.

Kazuya was watching TV in his house in San Malarus when his phone ringed. He checked what it was and it was text message from Koharu saying that he could go to a masquerade ball. Kazuya blushed a little as this will be his first time going to ball with a girl especially a famous one. So he is hesitating whether to go or not because the public might thought that he is Koharu's boyfriend but for Kazuya, he is not open to these kind of stuff. Love hasn't crossed his mind yet but as long as it will make Koharu happy, Kazuya will do it. So he replied:

~Sure! I will be there! Wait for me in the gate of your house within an hour. Don't expect some limo though, I am not rich. Expect riding a taxi cab. I hope you would understand. Don't worry, I think I have some formal clothes. So yeah, you should go prepare yourself too.~

Kazuya would then rush to the bathroom to take a quick bath. After cleaning himself up, he proceeded to his room to look for medieval formal clothes that he had when he was playing a role in a play on the school theater. As he found it, he wore it and looked at himself in the mirror.


"Hmm, I think I look good" he said to himself while fixing his hair a little. Now, he is prepared. Now he rushed outside to take a taxi cab that will lead him to the station. Honestly, Kazuya doesn't know what to feel right now. He doesn't know if he is happy or what?

As Koharu got the reply that Kazuya accepted her favor, she was all excited that she rushed to the bathroom for a quick bath. After that, she took her pink masquerade dress but before putting it on her body. She put some mascara on,blush-on,lipstick,and applying some thick make-up on her. She would then brush her hair and do the bun hair. Perfect! Now her face is ready for the ball. She then carefully put on her dress and take a look on herself at the mirror.

Koharu's dress:

"Kuma-kun what do you think?" I asked the bear who was laying on my bed. The bear rose to see how I look and he was shocked. "WHAT THE FLIP! YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL!" the bear said and it made Koharu smile. "Thanks" she thanked the bear while fixing her hair. The bear will then approach her with a suspicious laugh. "Why are you laughing?" she asked. "Upupupu, why are you dressed like that? are you going on a date?" the bear answered and it was a question. Koharu blushed a bit and it agitated her. "S-STUPID! I AM NOT GOING ON A DATE!" Koharu shouted and threw her bear in the wall so hard. "Owie... hey honey, don't be angry. it'll make you look ugly." the bear said. "Tch... im just going to the ball" Koharu added applying some more makeup on her face. The bear approached her again, still gonna tease Koharu about this. "Ooh a ball! so who are you going with?" the bear asked with a suspicious chuckle after it. "Im going with Kazuya" she answered,applying colored contact lens on her eyes. "Ooh i know what's gonna happen. You are just denying it Sakura. First, you will have a dance with him then you will go wubby-dubby muah! muah!" The bear teased her again which agitated her for the second time. SHUT UP!" Koharu for the second time, shouted at the bear but this she punched him instead then left her room but returning to get Kuma-kun as she feels uncomfortable without this bear anywhere with her.

Now, she is on the gate of her house. She is now waiting for Kazuya but he is not late though. He still got a few minutes left to arrive on her house or Koharu will wait for a bunch of minutes more and if he didn't still came, she will just return to her house, cancelling the night.

As Kazuya arrived on Koharu's house with a taxi. He can already see her on the gate holding her shadow weapon. He then payed for the cab and getting of the taxi. He then ran to Koharu, hoping that he is not late. "Yo i'm here, I hope im not late" he said to Koharu. Kazuya then looked at Koharu from head to foot, Kazuya blushed a bit. Is he in-love with Koharu? Although that love has not crossed in Kazuya's mind yet but he got starstrucked as he saw Koharu with her masquerade dress. For Kazuya, she was all attractive. On the other side, Kazuya thinks he is hopeless to Koharu because he is a normal person and she is a model. Koharu might not like him either way and he might only got invited because Koharu only needs an escort to enter a ball. "You look beautiful" he complimented her.

"*chuckle* Thanks!" she thanked Kazuya for the compliment. Although the entrance was not a surprise but his attire is good. "You look good too. I am glad you are able to come. Don't worry my limo will come to get us" Koharu said and speaking of the devil, the limo arrived after Koharu have said. The driver's window opened revealing Brent was the one driving. "Are you ready for the ball,ma'am?" Brent asked us. I looked at Kazuya,smiling at him. "Let's go" she said to him,suddenly holding his hand and dragging him in the car with her. As the two got in, the car started to go. "I hope you will enjoy your night, ma'am" Brent broke the silence. "Thanks Brent and thanks for being the driver although it's late at night, I hope you're not complaining" she said to Brent. It was his day off today so Koharu hopes that Brent is not complaining. While waiting to arrive, Koharu grab a champagne bottle and started to drink. "Want some?" she invited Kazuya for a drink.

"Thank you..." Kazuya thanked Koharu for the compliment but he blushed a little from it. He wouldn't expect that he would ride a limo and he only thought that he will ride a fancy car but no it's a limo. Obviously, it was Kazuya's first time to ride a limo so he was kinda happy to be friends with Koharu. Despite being famous, Koharu is really friendly and nice that's why Kazuya have liked her so much in such a small time. So as the ride goes, Kazuya was silent on his seat until Koharu invited him for a drink. "No thanks, I don't drink" Kazuya refused because of the fact he doesn't drink and he hates the taste alcohol. Also, he's only 16! He is way too young to drink something like that and it's bad for the health. Kazuya needs a healthy body in order to keep on training with Kali.

"Ok suit yourself" Koharu replied then taking the drink away from Kazuya. Instead, she drank 1/4 of the bottle as she doesn't want the public to see her drunk so she needs to be careful with the drinking here. As the limo stopped and Brent said that they've arrived on their location. Koharu was all jumpy and quickly got out of the limo. "Let's go Kazuya! We don't wanna get late!" she shouted at Kazuya before proceeding to the glass dome where the Masquerade Ball is being held. The place was full of lights and you can already hear the loud music from the entrance. Also, there are many men and women dressed in their costumes along with their partners. This is gonna be a fun night for Koharu!

As they arrived in the location, Kazuya followed after Koharu. For Kazuya, the place was astonishing for him as he didn't see a place like this until tonight. He was glad to have Koharu as his friend to experience some things that he didn't experienced yet. Kazuya sat on a vacant table and invited Koharu to sit with him. It was a real masquerade ball, there is this beautiful relaxing romantic music and there is a buffet. Some of the partners are dancing in the ballroom now. So Kazuya thought that she would dance with Koharu. He walked to Koharu and lend her a hand then asked "Would you like to dance milady?" with a big smile on his face.

Koharu was surprised on Kazuya's question that it made her blush and smile at him. "Of course hahaha" she said yes but let out a nervous laugh. She then whispered "Kaz... no need to be like a gentleman, it's weird. You can act like yourself in front of me". She then leads Kazuya to the dance floor. "Ok, if you don't know how to dance just follow my steps but be careful not to step on my foot" she told Kazuya and started to dance. She hoped that Kazuya would follow the steps correctly so this could go smoothly. She doesn't know how to dance too as dancing is not her forte so good luck for the both of them.

"Ok..." he said and tried to follow Koharu's step. It seems that Kazuya have followed her very smoothly so both of them are doing great. As Kazuya felt that he is getting better then things started to go seriously. Because of Kazuya, they are starting to circle around the dance floor like professional dancers. Kazuya is smiling at Koharu, this will be the best day of his life. He danced with a girl he is infatuated at. He wonders if Koharu likes him as well. Whatever, he just kept on dancing with Koharu on the dance floor. He is totally enjoying the opportunity!

"Woah you're doing great!" Koharu was surprised at Kazuya. She didn't that he can dance like that. She too enjoyed dancing with him but it means nothing to her, she still thought Kazuya as a friend but it can be even more than that. Koharu will explain things to him when the time comes when they are starting to date. As the music ends, they returned to their tables in order to eat dinner. Koharu chosed whatever she wants in a small amount in the buffet and then returned to their table to eat it. While eating, she asked Kazuya a question. "So Kazuya, are you enjoying the night?

"Thanks!" Kazuya smiled at Koharu's compliment. As the music ends, he followed Koharu at the buffet then returning at their table. Kazuya chosed beef steak and mushroom soup and four seasons as a drink. While eating, Koharu asked him a question. "Yeah, i had fun. In fact, it was my first time to dance with a girl" he said but he is blushing a little. "You know what? This is the greatest night in my life. So cheers?" he said as he hold his cup of four seasons up asking Koharu for a cheer. He is smiling but his blush was slowly appearing.

Koharu was shocked when Kazuya said that she was her first dance and that made Koharu blushed a little but she let it through. "Tee-hee! really? As a matter of fact, you were my first dance too so..." Koharu stopped as she was blushing even more. She got shy and she doesn't know what she is feeling, is she in-love? Koharu doesn't mind loving a non-famous person. Koharu realized that she is older than Kazuya so maybe it's just a mother's love?. "*chuckle* cheers!" she bumped her glass with Kazuya's. Koharu would have to agree, that was also an enjoying night for her.

The ball is now over and they're on their way home. While walking, Koharu said someting. "Ummm... Kazuya thank you for coming. I enjoyed the night and I hope it goes the same for you. I am glad that i met you so..." Koharu stopped in her statement then approached Kazuya, giving him a kiss on the cheek. She didn't know what just happened there so she blushed so badly when she kissed him. "Ah-umm... that was a thank you kiss. So umm.... goodbye! Let's go to the amusement park tomorrow! it's a date!" she added while her blush was still there. She then ran into her limo and left.

Kazuya blushed even more harder when Koharu started to say things like he was her first dance as well. Kazuya was glad to know that their both first-timers. Now that they are leaving the ball, Koharu thanked her for coming. "Ummm-ahhh, no problem" he said ,scratching the back of his head, feeling humiliated. As Koharu kissed him in the cheek. He was frozen still, he didn't believed that his love interest just kissed him. He was all speechless and frozen still in that moment. He just nodded when Koharu said that they're going to the amusement for a date. Kazuya was kept on his position until Koharu leaves. He left the place as well. Kazuya really enjoyed everything especially the kiss. It was his first time to be kissed by a girl so it's a strange feeling for him. Kazuya left the ball with a big smile and kiss mark on his face.
