**ALERT!** After a rather eventful evening at Maksim's Party, three teenagers seems to have gone missing. The doors of Vault Olympia have been breached due to a to this day unknown assailant, who sabotaged the doors locking systems, allowing demons to make entry. Thanks to the excellent defensive capabilities of the Vault's Security drones, the Attack was put to an end, and the invading monsters fled to the outside. Right now, the Doors of Vault Olympia are currently open, allowing any survivors of the fall to seek shelter within the Vault's safe halls. What Vault Security officials think of this development remains unclear as the Chief of Police and Security of Olympia refused to leave a comment. This is Rianara, of Olympia news, signing out.

The site is entering a new era as our team of mods works tirelessly on updating old and obsolete information threads and links. Over the Summer, we aim to make many changes to the forum, including writing a comprehensive beginners' guide to help new players accommodate to the combat and other rp systems in place here.

Be sure to constantly check the update thread for any changes to the boards. You can find it ->Here<-

A Chance to Cheer Up Superthumb

Music was sounding, people were piling out to the sides of the streets; many of which were closed off at the moment, and the beginning to what would be a large movement sounded with a boom of an elephant, as the crew of ‘The Biggest Top!’ came performing through, coupled with loud applause from people who watched and stopped by to look.

A Chance to Cheer Up Tumblr_n81kybh4eu1twnc8to2_500

It was chaos….in a good way. Dancers jumped through the streets, waving around props and releasing confetti, bubbles and other simple delights that you could not help but love even as an adult. It was what made the circus so famous besides its overall stellar quality. It had a personal level of connectivity that you just could not find anywhere else on Azores as far as attractions go. The animals of course were trained and even for safety, they were kept in the middle of barricades of performers holding up poles which made a wall to deter them from breaking out into the crowd. Some probably were afraid, but it didn’t stop them from looking upon the awe of it all.

A Chance to Cheer Up Tumblr_n8woldOYRd1s8t67ro1_500

Even death-defying stunts were being performed in the crowd. Some people were against the idea, but it definitely seemed to be working out. One man stopped the tiger to have both of them wave to a crowd before placing his head in the tiger’s mouth for a few painful and scary moments before taking it out, completely unharmed and received by cries of joy and remark.

A Chance to Cheer Up Dagger10

One person was even throwing knives at various targets around the moving circus with amazing accuracy; no one even flinching at the notion. Everyone just looked like they were having too much fun. But of course, the circus was missing something completely integral….for a few moments anyway, until out of a mobile platform, a head of green hair and a lovely costume to boot poked out of a pedestal, secretly waving to crowd before going under, and a few moments later, popped out and pulled out her microphone and red whip. It was a single woman, known far and wide as Cuore, the star.

A Chance to Cheer Up Rydia_10

“Good morning! Is that people I hear?” she said holding a hand to her ear to hear applause. She looked around as if she could not see them, before grinning. “There you are! Now, should we get going?” Of course the crowd wanted more! This performance was unheard of, and never happened before as it went through the streets. And it nearly made Cuore herself weep of joy, but her expertise in hiding that would not let that happen. This was just all she wanted. Everyone needed a break from all of this supernatural weird stuff. People needed to have fun, and it did look like it was working. It was her goal. It was all working out just like she had hoped, and she would keep doing it as much as she needed  to get everyone’s mind off of anything stressful. After all, that was why she was here; it was every part of her being to dance and perform and on whatever the people found holy or sacred, she was going to do what she could for everyone and even herself. She scanned the crowd looking for anyone in particular that didn’t seem so interested, which were far and few between, but she would wave to them and blow a kiss, which definitely got their attention. No one was allowed to be left out today. Today everyone in Penecia would enjoy themselves whether they meant to or not. The circus itself got through the towns by word of mouth rather quickly since the tower was currently being ‘occupied’, but even some people from other islands were showing up. Everyone was free to join, and anyone involved with the circus could very well be performing if they had chosen to. Of course, this would not be the only time. If all went well, other islands would get the same treatment. Cuore had no mind to avoid the other islands. It was to be a challenge she wanted to overcome!

A Chance to Cheer Up Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Chance to Cheer Up   A Chance to Cheer Up EmptyMon Apr 13, 2015 3:19 pm

Like all circus employees, she assumed, Rita wouldn't ever miss this day, not even for a chance to become a millionaire. The silvernette thought it a shame that she wouldn't get to perform yet, but Lia was right, she couldn't go strutting around on stage controlling fire right off the bat. Best ease the crowd into it and then burst out the flames to awe them! Yeah, that was the best plan. Once they knew how she was and didn't worry, Rita could make sure that Users didn't get a bad rep just like that. Though... what really made Rita saddest was not being able to get up on stage with Lia, of course. That was fine, though, she knew that the performer was enjoying this day as well and hey, maybe she could even perform better if Rita weren't there to possibly mess something up. She needed training, so she wasn't gonna go attempt to do something she couldn't, and being with Lia right now... was risky, since stage fright was a thing.

A Chance to Cheer Up Hwt8lju
"Glad so many people came around. After all the work put into this, I'd hate not seeing anyone here."

Her face may not have shown it, but Rita really was happy. Hell, she even dressed for the occasion, breaking her usual white-red streak and instead going with its exact opposite, a mixture of black and blue. It didn't look bad, by any means, but to anyone that knew Rita and was used to her normal style, it'd probably be quite a shock to see her like this. Not that it mattered to the girl, her style was her own, and she liked how this was going.

Rita brought her wrist to her face, touching Lia's bracelet with a calmer expression on. "People deserve to be happy. I hope whatever little I could do was useful." The silvernette repeated this to herself before starting to walk alongside the moving shows, strutting a bit faster to reach the front, simply just so she could cheer Lia on directly and without anything in her way. Of course, there probably was trouble getting through the crowd, but she made sure to use her employee's privilege against it... well, as much as she could. If there was one thing she loved to do, though, was being with the animals. After so much time spent taking care of them, they surely knew her, right? Well, no matter. A happy smirk appeared on the (compared to Lia) tiny girl's face as she moved forward alongside the shows... not like she could do much else right now.

Whoa whoa whooooooa! This was AWESOME! The DJ cheered as she ran alongside the moving circus, stopping to watch the knife thrower again. Jeez he was cool! This whole thing was amazing! The DJ had never seen anything like this at all... She had traveled all over America and nothing even came close to this! She was ecstatic! She was lucky she was in Penecia when she was! And even luckier she dressed so radically for this event. The coincidence was cliche to say the least, but 'ey! Who cared about cliches when there was a flipping moving circus!

A Chance to Cheer Up HLva3TC

This was truly amazing... It left the DJ speechless as she watched the show pass by. She couldn't help but bounce on her toes and dance around. A few lonely people would eventually be dragged into a dance with the eccentric DJ as she spun them around and made them smile. Her glee was impossible to miss as she continued moving forward, gawking at every little thing with a child like awe. Who's have guessed these islands could get even more raddical!?

Nothing could break her glee right now! Calvin said he had heard word and came over to view this fiasco of awesomeness and the DJ had killed her phone's battery hours ago. She was alone and surrounded with cheering and happy people. She loved this, it was her essence... Not to mention the inspiration she was feeling right now! The songs and ideas came pouring into her head as she imagined the turntables right in front of her. It was safe to say this was a night would not be forgotten by the eccentric DJ.

"This! Is! Amaaaaaaaaaazing!"

And with that cheer, the DJ mixed into the crowd of people, bouncing here and there as she did. She'd bring more people into one of her strange waltzes of sorts before leaving them with a smile. She even stopped once to pop a few bubbles with a group of kids, though her face plant probably made the children laugh more than the bubbles... But hey! Who cared! This was an amazing event! Laughter, joy, glee, happiness! These things where everywhere! Who'd want to delve into sorrow here?

PostSubject: Re: A Chance to Cheer Up   A Chance to Cheer Up EmptySun Apr 19, 2015 5:47 pm

The attraction continued through the streets, as a good amount of the crowd continued to move down the line organized by some of the police or other performers, while many stayed in their position to watch the entire festival walk through. Cuore herself was bounding and leaping through the attractions, and even hopping over some of the displays other performers were carrying as though it were an obstacle course she could display in. She jumped into the crowd every now and again, saying hi and even taking a couple people and kids who volunteered to be carried by other performers or be part of the act. She did catch Rita in the crowd, and decided to not focus on it, but did gesture to her hand which showed the ring Rita had made for her still on her finger before running back into the chaos of the circus. Down the street a few moments later, some thunder sounded off in the distance signaling a storm coming. Even Cuore herself was a bit confused; she didn't expect rain today. The weather said it was supposed to be all sunny. Well, it happens. The clouds weren't here yet, so people could still hop in and join to watch, and no one really seemed dissuaded to stay. Many people wanted to watch and enjoy themselves for this one moment as they all made their way through the downtown area of Penecia.

PostSubject: Re: A Chance to Cheer Up   A Chance to Cheer Up EmptyMon Apr 20, 2015 2:41 pm

The silvernette trotted through the crowd smoothly, enjoying watching the shows all around. Needless to say, she did recognize most people performing, having already worked at the circus for... a long while, at this point, so she'd greet whoever she could and had the chance to, either from afar or whether they allowed her to go close. When she saw Lia, though, Rita's eyes shined a bit as a cheerful smile bashfully plastered itself on her face. Maybe it was nice to come out of your home at times. It was good that Lia was wearing the ring too, it made Rita feel... a lot more secure.

"This'll never get old. I wonder how she can keep up like that... Lia has a really kind heart." The silvernette muttered to herself with a silly smile, before her eyes widened at the sound of thunder in the distance. That was foreboding. She knew the weather was getting crazier around the Tower area before, when she went there, was it spreading...? Odd. What did this mean for the islands? Thesis still didn't seem to be confronted back in Standasen... very strange. This was off-putting.

"..." Rita frowned and looked onto the distance, then used her phone to check the weather forecast. Sure enough, today was supposed to be sunny all day long... "Ugh... well then." Looking at the direction Lia went off to, Rita proceeded down the same path, albeit a lot slower in comparison as she stopped off on other performances on her way. If someone noticed her, they could probably tell that she wasn't quite in the same "zone" as other spectators, though, what with her wry smile and very slight frown. She was definitely worried, like a bad premonition came over her. Maybe it'd be nothing... hopefully.

A Chance to Cheer Up Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Chance to Cheer Up   A Chance to Cheer Up EmptyMon Apr 20, 2015 3:52 pm

Why was Oki here again? On Penecia Island that is. Sure Dani lived here, but Oki had no reason to visit the boy again and as far as the being was concerned it had other things to worry about than randomly going to an island for the heck of it. It didn’t have that leisure anymore when it had angels and other monsters to deal with. Ever since it’s little adventure with Hyde to Andromeda, the old being was on edge even more than before. When it wasn’t worried about Helen or the angels, then it was worried about people in mask randomly popping up to stab it in the back.

Needless to say life was stressful and maybe that is why Oki was here now on a different island at random. Maybe it was simply looking for a distraction from it all…some form of escape it knew it would not find…

Hmmm?

Oki paused in its random walking as it saw people milling towards a certain point on the island. Curious and glad for a distraction from its running thoughts, the being jogged across the street and joined the crowds as they continued to move forward until finally they merged into a big pool that was cheering and laughing at a show being performed. With bubbles and other things in the air, Oki looked around the noisy area intrigued. It had never been to whatever this was and it had to admit that the energy that hung in the air had a way of sucking away worry, leaving only a happy feeling within. Even Oki with all its worries was sucked into this atmosphere as it moved between people to get a better view at the performers and those that were participating in the acts from the crowd.

The feats performed were amazing and made Oki almost want to jump in the middle of them; however, the being restrained itself as it stayed in the center of the crowds to be sure not to be tempted to climb onto anything as the show moved on. As Oki moved through the sea of smiling faces, a moving blur of something familiar caught its eyes.

That odd dresswear and interestingly colored hair. Yup. Oki knew who that was as it grinned and moved through the crowds towards the dancing girl. As she waltz with a guy who quickly passed her off to a lady who spun her about before passing her to another, Oki positioned itself, so that when the next person passed the girl off, it would be the one to catch her.

A gloved hand easily took hers, performing a short waltz with the girl before ending it in a dip that the being took a moment to rise up from as it looked at the familiar face of DJ with a grin as it continued to hold her in its arms with no issues.

“ ’ello poppet. Having fun?” Oki asked and then held her for a while longer just to see what she would do. Oki wondered as it did this, if Hyde or Dani would be upset for this play? Would it have mattered? Not really? After all, this place was full of fun no? So why not play games here and there?

**

Meanwhile as the fun continued, the sound of an approaching storm could be heard in the distance; however, it would appear very few noticed it as the festivities went on. In the shadows of this grand party, a shadowy figure watched the moving crowds through the black glass of the deer skull mask it wore over its face. No one noticed this person, who stayed in the back dressed in a trench, the horns upon its mask adorned with beads and small feathers. This being…it did not like this. This joy and happiness. This was not productive to the goals which it had vowed its life to. There needed to be chaos and fear…only then would people succumb and submit to the ones that could care for them the most. The gods they had forgotten about.

The lost lambs needed to be taught a lesson. Relearn their place in the world and this messenger would be the one to set everything in place. The announcement had been made and now it was time to sway the crowds. One island at a time…yes….yes…the lie would end and the truth would come out. It would start here….the cleansing of the world.  The faithful would survive and the unfaithful would be tossed the wolves and death. Yes. The world would be cleansed soon just like the mother Goddess wanted.

With its goal in mind, the masked figure sunk further into the background waiting for the perfect moment to strike and start the ball rolling on the cleansing.

PostSubject: Re: A Chance to Cheer Up   A Chance to Cheer Up EmptyMon Apr 20, 2015 4:20 pm

Dance dance! Step step... Then pass, then swaaaaay~! Then jump that way! Woooo~! Then sway sway, dance dance, don't trip over that kid... Then pass~! Oh this was so flipping fun! She wasn't part of the acts, but the energy the DJ had seemed to bubble to the people she dragged into her dances... So much so people where starting to share her! Who'd have guessed? Maybe the DJ'd join a circus in the future! She could be that dancing girl who barely wears anything... Eh, on second thought... She'd prefer to just do this~. After all... Wasn't it enough she was dancing on platformed boots?

Though, the DJ was passed on to someone who really knew how to dance! Woosh~! And theeen a dip. Whoa... That made the DJ's head spin! Who'd have guessed someone could make her head turn? Eh heh... Weird thought... Maybe she was getting a bit to drunk off the atmosphere... Oh well! No time like the present and nonsense li- WHA!? THE OKI!?

"Aaaah! The Oki!" the DJ squealed, going to hug it tightly. The DJ was exceedingly happy to see a friend here! She'd wish Dan Dan was here... But beggars couldn't be choosers, man! I mean... Duh. "Oh oh! The DJ's so happy to see you! Isn't this so freakin' radical!?" she said as she spun about, her now blue striped hair spinning and sparkling in the light. It was different colors last time the Oki saw it... But she changed her color often to say the least. Ah! But then lightning! The DJ yelped and flailed her arms wildly for a moment, blinking as the thunder ended.

"'Ey... C'mon now! No time for cryin, sky!" she said, waving a fist up at the sky. After the DJ's grade A scolding, she turned back to the Oki, a grin across her face. "The Oki! We gotta make these people dance, aight? I ain't the show tonight, but that don't mean we can't help these people smile even more! Are ya with me!?" she said with a clap, already dashing into the crowd and beginning her wild waltzes with another group of people. She was a flurry of fluid movements and bright colors. She'd share her joy to everyone here! That was the DJ's plan! Woooo!

A Chance to Cheer Up Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Chance to Cheer Up   A Chance to Cheer Up EmptyMon Apr 20, 2015 5:44 pm

The weather was slowly getting even more cloudy, and now some of the crowd was starting to notice. The circus performers were still performing their heart out trying to move, but a few were bailing out, trying to find cover, but the vast majority were still there, happily having fun. In fact, even one particular voice hummed in merriment as he hopped and skipped through the crowd a couple times before going back to being reserved.

A Chance to Cheer Up Tumblr_mu82hkG4FM1rs4yfmo1_500

One particular gray-haired man was hopping through, and soon after a couple skips, returned to his normal self, looking around acting like he didn’t belong. That was a bit goofy of him. Even he thought it was kind of silly. He was dressed in an odd coat that seemed a bit dirty, like he had had it for a long time, and his hair was a bit messy. But no one seemed to bother him or care, as the crowd was focused on Cuore and her performances. Though this man was walking outside the crowd, so he would not be so hard to spot, but no one turned around. Maybe he had a knack for blending in no matter what he did, but the dancing around probably showed him off a little. He kept walking to follow the crowd, and seemed to be fiddling with his hands a lot, looking around as if waiting for something to happen. He didn’t look scared, but his face looked far off, like he had been thinking about something. As he walked, the weather seemed to get even more odd, as the quiet thunders seemed to boom a little louder. But still, many of he people stayed. Everyone was probably so stressed that any excuse for them to take a break was going to be taken. And it certainly showed.

Rita narrowed her eyes at the weather before looking around at the slowly thinning circus group. "Shit, no..." Her voice sounded distressed, but a particular sight caught her eye. With her being far behind Lia at this point, anything in the crowd that was unusual caught her eye... and boy, did this do so.

A Chance to Cheer Up GAQOkn8
"Alba..."

The grey-haired man made her bowels turn, as her teeth grit and her eyes narrowed. He was a User. He was a User. Why the hell was he a User?! Rita knew that her hostility was somewhat irrational, but Simon Alba was someone that she needed to meet, just like Ariston Rhodes... difference was, she didn't know Ariston by sight. The other names in the list were suspicious, but the fact was that Simon Alba was literally the only person that Rita knew, even if it was only by a memory of when she was in school. Of course, the library was her local refuge, so she'd logically meet Simon whenever going there... sure, maybe they never truly "interacted", but just this was enough for Rita.

As soon as she caught sight of the man, the silvernette moved through the crowd, blending herself in as much as possible -which wasn't too much with her obvious silver hair- to get to him. Whether she did right away or not, she didn't know, but her steps would definitely hasten to be able to catch up to the man.

Oki continued to hold DJ letting her regain her bearings and fully focus on it. When she did, she let out a shout of excitement before unexpectedly hugging it. A bit startled by the action, it took a moment for Oki to recover from the sudden hug and then relaxing return the gesture back. It never thought that someone outside of Hyde would be so happy to see it, but it had been proven wrong right here. As the other released the being it couldn’t help, but grin at the energetic girl.

“It is a pleasure to see you too, DJ,” Oki respond back before nodding at the other’s question as it looked around at the festivities once more. “It is quite something,” Oki said as it leveled its eyes with the other still feeling drunk with the happiness….that was until the thunder sounded and the lightning flashed across the skies. As DJ yelped and flailed, Oki looked up at the skies with a light frown. It couldn’t rain. That would ruin the fun….and it really needed the fun here.

When DJ scolded the sky and told it not rain, Oki found itself nodding in agreement as it unconsciously spoke out loud.

“That’s right, there is still more fun to be had,” the being said as green eyes glanced once more at the sky moodily. Sure it was being selfish and childish, but who could blame it after what it had been through? Everyone needed a break right?

Before Oki could answer that question mentally, its eyes snapped back to DJ as she looked at it with a grin. As she spoke, the ancient being smiled and nodded before proceeding to follow her; however, as it took a few steps forward, Persephone's whispering caused it to stop in its tracks as it looked around.

There was something here that made her stir, but what? Green eyes narrowed as the crowds flowed around it. Most people here seemed normal, but something was off. Oki continued to examine the people until the whispering in its head became a light chuckle as its eyes locked onto a strangely dressed man skipping through the crowds. He seemed to be having fun like everyone else, but there something still very odd about the guy, but what exactly it was Oki couldn’t tell. The sky above got stranger causing Oki to look up before making a decision. Blending into the crowd, it would try to get closer to the stranger to see exactly what was up. It had no idea that the one that it had decided to trail was also the target of another present in the crowd. All Oki knew was that it needed to get up close the stranger to finally silence the soft laughter of Persephone who was clearly interested in the stranger….

A Chance to Cheer Up Yukonseasons-whole

While all the festivities continued to go on the hidden masked man continue to move in the shadows as he followed the circus about. He was waiting, waiting, waiting and then….

A woman in a red coat jumped onto a stand and began shouting to the crowds. As the wind blew her curly golden locks.

“Fair people! You must cease this fun! It will draw demons to us! Return to your homes and bow your heads! Pray to the gods for forgiveness for this sin!” the woman was yelling, but the people in the crowd hardly paid her any mind. She was surely a crazy person, so why listen to what she said? Still, the woman would not give up as she continued to repeat her message, practically begging others to listen to her. She would continue to do this until a single gunshot carried loud and clear over the sounds of festivities and the coming storm. As the lady began to fall, her mouth opened and closed as her hands went to her throat blood pouring from it as she toppled off her stand and hit the ground...dead.

People around her gasped and murmured until a man in the crowd looked up and pointing began to yell in fearful tones.

“She was right! It's a d-demon! A demon!” and then whimpering he began to run. And who could blame him? The figure in the long jacket wearing the skull mask with horns with a gun held up certainly did look like a demon as the heaven above flashed and rumbled angrily. People on the end this figure was on would begin to scream and then run as the demon moved forward, training his gun on legs and arms as he let off one round after another aiming to punish as many as he could with injuries before his deed was done. After all, the messenger had sung and now he was her hand. The hand that would spread the sickness to bring all back home in the end.

Dance dance! Step step! Twirl twirl! The DJ had rejoined her dancing with the populace, blissfully waltzing with the many people she came in contact with. She moved fluidly between people, passing people off to other dancers and being passed herself. She was an unstoppable force of joy and happiness! It wouldn't have been hard for some to mistake her for part of an act, after all, she was dressed oddly and was dancing with people on her own accord! What crazy person would do that if not for a circus member? Well... The DJ for starters.

Everything was so fun! It was obvious that when the woman had jumped up that the DJ never heard her nor noticed her. Her dancing continued on past Oki and the silverette's pursuit of the oddly dressed man. She was oblivious in her glee. That was... Until a gun shot rang out and people started screaming and whimpering. The one she was dancing with stopped and ran in a seemingly random direction, leaving the DJ alone within the churning crowd. She was scared... A-And where was the Oki!? She didn't know what to do, but she had to stay c-calm? The DJ slowly moved through the crowd, calling out Oki's name as she did so. She had to find him... Or her... Now wasn't the time to think about this!

"O-Oki! Oki! Where are you!? Okiiiiiiii!"

A Chance to Cheer Up Empty

Rita may not have known it, but Simon was well aware someone was following him. Not that he was surprised. It may or may not have been the goal from the beginning. He stopped moving and began to wait for anyone else to confront him, but before that could happen, a loud gunshot range in the air, and blood hit the ground, and with it stealing all color from Simon's face. He looked almost like a child again, as memories of old battles shot to his mind, and he clutched his head with one hand for a moment before shaking it, looking very perturbed by what just happened. This was not meant to happen, and the look on Simon's face proved it.

He didn't have time to look around for the one pursuing him, and as much as he needed to get to the woman, that one on the stand was the true threat. Before anyone could even blink, Simon Alba's very image seemed to fade away. He was vanishing into thin air. But of course, he was not teleporting. In fact, he himself was turning invisible to anyone's eyes. It was an ability he had acquired over time as a Persona-User. Though this did not cloak his sound, the screaming and running of much of the crowd covered that well enough, and he was currently out of sight unless someone had an ability to spot him or a heightened sense. The entire circus was also affected, as the animals started to shout in distress; but luckily the larger ones were calmed down for the most part; as the elephant nearly fell into a building, and a tiger had ran off into an alleyway to cower. It was the perfect cover. Where he was last seen, a cellphone fell to the ground with a call on the line, dialing the numbers 9-1-1. From there, he went into the crowd to cut off the person in the mask. And from out of nowhere in front of the person as they moved forward, a single crowbar would fly from the crowd right into their jaw from a sideways swing. The crowbar was visible at the time of the attack, but since up until that point he was invisible, the probability to avoid this was less than 1%. After the swipe, the crowbar would vanish back into nothingness. Were the person to be hit, they would definitely go down and unconscious, and their gun would be kicked to the side and picked up by an invisible hand before it too vanished.

Of course, this did not stop the crowd from running. Everyone was still running, and performers were quickly trying to put everything away, run themselves, or protect other civilians. Cuore was looking around at the crowd to scan for anything. She herself had even taken her whip out and attempted to strike the gunner after bolting near him, but he was already being assaulted by another object. Regardless, she would still attempt to strike him and sent a thorny crack into their back, which would definitely cause bleeding were it to hit. Her aim was very famous for being deadly so the person had another dangerous attack to try and avoid. Her makeup was flaking, and she definitely looked upset as she saw every last fragment of her hope in the day die to one person with a gun and more talk of the supernatural; her motion to attack being mostly an impulse, but she had to. What good would she be if she didn't make her effort while everyone else worked for the safety of the guests? They were people, and she couldn't let them, Rita, or anyone else die or get sucked into this madness. This was chaos, but it could be tamed and the police would be here soon hopefully....she didn't know. She couldn't feel anything but one feeling she had never really experienced....fury....fury at the person who gunned down people, and attempted to drive people from something that kept them happy and sane. She had no sympathy for this person and it showed in the force of her strike. Cuore hoped that after this it would all end and no more blood would be shed. It would soon be fine and end without any more violence...

Only it wasn't going to be fine...

A single drop of blood fell from a building and hit the ground. No one could notice it, but all of a sudden, the single drop blood spread, into a puddle, and then, spread across the road, until not a single person passing would miss it. People were still running, but it was definitely hard seeing as it was a large crowd making a chaotic retreat through the main downtown area of the city. And then....several jagged spires of a red crystallized mass shot from this odd stain and into the nearest building, causing it to crumble. If the screams from the crowd weren't loud, they were now, and some froze in shock whether they could escape the debris, or be injured in the process. And out from the ground, a hand came from the blood, and soon, a full body, along with a large cackle.

This man looked like he was in his early twenties, but the age was unknown. His body was toned and muscular, and his clothes were completely styled in death black and blood red, like he was a goth. More eerily, his eyes were completely red like all blood vessels in them had been destroyed and colored the eyes. His arms also were scarlet from the tips of his fingers to his upper arms; the lining on the ends moving slowly as though it were alive. He cackled again, and as he did it, the blood spread around the streets, and under everyone's feet; and suspiciously enough after contacting it, they all felt the presence of their supernatural Others in their mind. And once more, the one known as Ri Rain felt an odd heaviness in her head, as a hidden voice seemed to call within her mind. The air seemed to grow a slight tinge of bronze and red, and the smell and taste of iron began to humidate the air. The man cackled once more and looked at everyone running, not moving, crying, everything.

"WAAAAAHAAAAAHAHAHAAAAA! God damn I didn't think people here were such idiots and dipshits! Wheeeeeeew! Thesis is definitely missing out man! Finally able to break out of that coop! Oh? You can turn invisible?! That's insane Human!" he shouted, shouting at the crowd in some direction, as Cuore, Oki, Ri and Rita were scattered around the street; Cuore herself further away from the others. "Wow! I can't wait to fuck some shit up! Nothing is better than cutting off some lines of fate! So, who's first?!" he grabbed an adult man running past him and picked him up with one hand, revealing how incredibly fearsome and strong he seemed to be, before smirking and tossing him away to the ground. The man didn't seem to care for his minor injuries, as he still kept running.

Ananke....the Primordial that governs the essence of fate in the natural world....along with his sister Thesis, he too has become one with now. Where has he been..?

"So! Does anyone want to try to challenge me, Ananke? Wanna see how fucked up fate is?!"

The gunshot immediately removed Rita's attention from Simon, not even caring that he was there right now and making her not even notice as he disappeared. The chaos was just unbearable right now... all this because of one damn person?! As soon as she saw who had done this, her mind went into overload, as her frown furrowed and her teeth grit themselves.

"You..." Her words left her emotions behind as she dashed quickly into the crowd without any more, summoning her sword as quickly as her mind focused. This was a day to have fun... and they took that fun away. From everybody. Rita's assault came to a halt as it seemed that the Masked Person was simply knocked out just like that but what surprised her more was Lia taking a swing herself. No, it didn't matter. Lia was her friend, she wanted to help her, this day, everyone. The silvernette knew just how kind Lia was, this was just the natural thing to do... it was. It was.

As it seemed like everything was going fine, though... the cackle rang in her ears. That was to be expected, and Nero soon urged Rita's mind on. "My Praetor." "I know it, God dammit, shut up." Rita lashed out in anger, but Nero understood it perfectly. With a single swipe, Rita took out her Evoker from underneath her shirt, tucked nicely into a holster. This just couldn't go worse, could it?

"Well, looks like just about everyone is here to piss me off today. This day was going soooooooooo well, then shit had to hit the fan. I'm tired of this. You really shouldn't piss off a girl this badly... not you, nor that damn Demon asshat!"

The silvernette chuckled lightly to herself. As much as she didn't care to say it, she had definitely gone off the deep end. Her life was at stake, she knew that, but that didn't matter. None of it mattered. As long as the people here were safe... she could die whenever this new bastard wanted.

"Alright then, time to start." With her trademark flick of the wrist, Rita's Evoker was brought to her head and triggered with a bright blue light, making her Persona appear right behind her. In a flash, the Emperor dashed off towards Rita's right to circle around the new threat, but wouldn't attempt to attack yet. Though, what would happen was that Rita would put a hand over her bracelet, pressing her fingers against the jewel. Lia was there, and this was a fight she wanted no-one to forget. A fight she may very well perish in.

"This is just some bullshit..." Rita put a hand to her eye as her smirk remained, but she seemed to be shaking slightly. That didn't matter, she didn't care how strong this person, if you could call them that, in front of her was, she needed to make sure he didn't cause any more disaster, not today, of all days!

A Chance to Cheer Up Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Chance to Cheer Up   A Chance to Cheer Up EmptyWed Apr 22, 2015 8:45 pm

Oki was trailing the strange guy when all hell decided to break lose. It started with a woman shouting about demons. She seemed to be trying to start up something with all this peace around, but since people weren’t really reacting and her threat level seemed low, Oki had ignored her; however, the loud sound that followed shortly after was not to be ignored. That sharp crack and echo…that was a sound Oki knew. That was a gun!

Turning in the direction of the sound as its body went numb, Oki began to make its way through the now panicked crowds as one person weighed on its mind – DJ. The one it was trailing no longer mattered as that one person stuck clearly in the being’s mind. It had to find her and know that she was okay. Only then could it handle the rest of this logically. It had wandered away from her, but it didn’t think it had gone that far, but the sea of pushing people made it seem like an eternity of hard swimming to finally find a space to look around for her. As Oki paused winded from the fight with the people it looked around the chaotic sea frantically. Where was –

There!

It heard its name being called from somewhere within that madness and without hesitation began to fight its way towards the sound calling out.

“DJ, I am coming! Stay there!”

Oki continued to push its way to the girl feeling relieved and tensed. When it finally reached the girl, it grabbed her arms in firm yet still gentle way. Kind of like an older sibling concerned and relieved at the same time.

“DJ, thank goodness. You’re not hurt are you?” Oki asked and then found itself looking up as more shots wrung out. People were getting hit at random now. Damn! This was getting bad. They had to go and like now. The being looked to DJ and was about to tell her that they need to run, but before it could flee from one problem a total different problem came literally up from the ground.

As the strange being rose from that bloody hole, Oki turned white as a sheet as the one thing that it prayed would not come crashing the party made itself known. The being had heard about what happened on another island where the supernatural had come to it in the form of a woman that came to spread chaos. It remembered it conversation with Deva. Remembered her mentioning the Primordial called Thesis and another trying to wake up the creator. This guy before them.... This was the other Deva had mentioned and as it was Oki could not leave this one alone. Unlike a gunman this was something that had to be confronted like or not. The only problem was DJ. It couldn’t leave her either.

Plan B. Protect DJ and try to stop this at the same time. Right. Oki took DJ’s hand in its own (if she allowed it) as it focused on the bigger problem at hand.

“DJ, we are going closer to that guy, but I need you to hide somewhere before we reach him. I promise, I’ll find you once this is over, got it?” Oki said in serious tones as it looked to DJ sternly. It would give her a moment to make her choice, but whether she rebelled or ran her own way, Oki would begin to make its way to the one called Ananke to do what it could to aid the other that had seemed to jump into action with supernatural powers at her back. As the being moved the tattoo on its back began to tingle letting it know that Persephone was active; however, it wouldn’t release the beast until it was closer to the threat in the mess.

What a nightmare this was turning out to be.
