Was it really that simple? It didn't seem like it… why… Her Persona wasn't as present as usual, it’s like she’d been put to sleep… what was the meaning of this? The silver-haired girl pushed through the door to her room, feeling a slight shiver run up her spine as the cold winter air blew through the open window sitting just behind the generic computer. Rita never needed much, did she? Just internet, a bed and food was enough for her… would she want more, though? It was strange… what Nero said just hours ago had her think, and her Persona could see that… what was her true purpose? What was her Reason to continue on? Did this world need to be changed like she thought it did…? Furthermore… did this world need her?
Her room, the only safe place she could have… why? Nero was supposed to be her, right? Why did she have to question it now…? After everything that went on, after steeling her resolve for so long… As the door to her room closed behind her, a sudden headache came over Rita’s skull, making her wince in pain and curl up, holding her sides. It felt as if the pain was coursing through her… almost as if she was being physically assaulted from within… was this what conflicting ideals in someone meant? Physical and psychological pain…? Why…? As her vision became clouded, Rita slowly crawled over to bed, hoisting herself upwards onto the mattress and turning towards the wall, sitting down… the only thing she noticed in her field of vision before passing out was just a simple-looking card… floating there, doing nothing but that…
Feeling her pain vanish for but a moment, Rita reached out to the card, yearning for it, feeling like she needed it… the Sun… was this truly happiness? As soon as the card touched her hand, Rita’s consciousness faded away, making her body fall onto the bed with a gentle thud, having its host fall asleep peacefully due to fatigue. The pain from her body would vanish with the card, and she’d be whisked away into a world of dreams…

The silvernette’s eyes fluttered open to a blinding golden sight of a theater, an auditory full of people, crowds, cheering while she stood, weak, on the ground to the sidelines, and a sole person in the middle of the stage, standing proudly with a crimson mantle covering their otherwise bare shoulders, the torso of this someone being covered in a low-cut top, exposing a small bit of cleavage, which revealed that this victor was indeed female. As the crowd’s applause roared violently through the arena, Rita could identify a very distinct figure of a gladiator falling onto the ground, losing in a fight against the small-framed woman. How was it possible, though? Was the woman truly that skilled?
“Open your eyes, my people, and observe! This spectacle is for you and you alone! I, thy Emperor, live only to see you entertained, so I beg of you, enjoy this demonstration of power to its fullest, for I am not above you, nor below you! My people, I love you!” As the girl’s screams rung out, a distinct tone of ego was heard, almost like she was confident that everyone loved her back like she had said she did them… but was this woman truly their Emperor? With no objections heard, Rita could only watch baffled at how she riled up the masses and turned them in her favor. With such a huge crowd going against them mentally, who could even begin to stand up to her? Seems the thought was short-lived, as the blonde woman turned her head around slowly, a tiny grin appearing on her face as Rita came into her field of view. Perhaps this would finally be some fun had?
“It seems that not only men are attempting to challenge my strength today. Girl, tell me your name. My opponent deserves me to hold them in their highest regard.” As the supposed Emperor walked over to Rita, she’d extend a hand out to her, sheathing her Gladius in the process. The silvernette, still stunned, looked up to be even more shocked, as the face her new opponent bore was quite obviously that of her own Persona. Not able to believe her own eyes, Rita felt her fatigue simply disappear, like Nero herself had taken it away. With nothing holding her back any longer, Rita took the hand only slightly, warily, and got back to her feet, prompting the Emperor to let out a smirk and move away from her. In turn, Rita's weapon would appear to be a Japanese Katana, seeing as she was not in possession of a Persona currently... though, it seemed to have the same properties as her Soulbound weapon... whose was this...? It was just there when she woke up on the battlefield... seeing as it was the only weapon, Rita picked it up, not having any other choice.
“Nero… you…” This had to be a dream, right? There was no way that it wasn’t… though, it was just so true, all this felt familiar… had she been here before? Was this a lucid dream…? “That’s quite enough. You have not told me your name yet, correct? No matter. I shall call you My Praetor, the highest position I can imagine that is not of opposition to me. I trust that is to your satisfaction? In any case, I see your blade is ready. Brandish it for me, and show me just how powerful you are! The people are waiting for you! Prove to them your power, challenger!” It was an extravagant attitude already, that was for sure… was this how Nero had always been? A cocky, action-loving nut? That… sounded familiar.
As the roars of the crowd echoed in the golden walls of the theater, Nero drew her own sword, a shield already held tight and secure in her off-hand, hidden by the crimson mantle that her royalty demanded. “Wait, what?! Nero, what the hell are you talking about?!” Rita’s outburst earned her only a frown from the Emperor, who was quite discontent with the result. “I have said this already, but it is not the time for words… prove yourself to me, My Praetor! Show me why it is that you fight!” The scowl on her face was sharp now, her stance steeling itself as Rita glared at her with a very confused mind. Would she have to fight Nero all on her own? Her own Persona? What was she even going to do without her help!? For now, all that was needed was the cheering to get her riled up. There was no way in hell that she wasn’t going to fight and just lay down and die, right?! Teeth gritted, Rita readied her own stance, a very distinct one from Nero’s Roman Style, and peeled her eyes for any sudden moves that would start the battle… her objective wasn’t to win… it was to survive…!

"My Praetor! Show me now what it is you fight for! Make me see your Reason through your skill! Defeat me, and prove that you're worthy of reshaping mankind!"
PvP Phase combat initiated. Your power is yours and yours alone, do not let it be used against you.
The first strike came quicker than Rita was expecting, with Nero driving her Gladius straight at her throat, no intention to bar any holds… if not for Rita’s reflexes being decent at the very least, a direct result of her training, Nero’s short sword would have pierced through her neck and cut off her airways, making her either bleed to death of suffocate. Regardless, all Rita did was simply deflect the sword with her own Katana, using the resulting force to push Nero slightly away and back into a safe distance, making it so Rita’d have time to ready her stance fully.
However, it wasn’t nearly enough to prove anything, and, soon enough, the blonde woman would take a step forward and jab at Rita’s left shoulder with a sly grin on her face. In response, the silvernette would side-step to the right, avoiding the attack and then doing a quick slash from the left followed with one originating from above. Not allowing attacks to come in, Nero hopped back to avoid the first slash, and then deflected the second one by smashing the incoming sword with her covered shield. Due to the cloth, the sword would slide right off, not being held on by friction, and Rita would then bring it to the regular position once again. Taking note that this took place in but a smooth movement proved both of the fighters’ skills with a blade, but Nero wasn’t using her usual one… no, where was it, actually?
“Are you holding back? You seem to be missing an important piece of equipment… do you take me for a fool, Nero Caesar?” Rita would bark at her supposed Persona, glaring at her with all her might. Just what was this supposed to prove? Did Nero think that going easy on her and not using the Aestus Estus would make Rita happier or something?! What a joke! “Oh? Truly, you must be blind. My current blade is one blessed by the Gods themselves. With it, I cannot lose. I don’t require to incinerate you in order to win. I asked to see your true power, so show it to me… force me into my last breath, prove to me that you’re worthy of the Angels’ blessing!” With that discussion out of the way, Nero dashed forward and delivered three quick strikes that would be swiftly blocked, albeit shoddily, by Rita’s katana, her face turning into one of anger as she just endured the hits behind the cold steel.
“The Angels… what has this got to do with them?! Nero, tell me! Why the hell are you fighting me now?!” That outburst cost her all sympathy she’d get from the normally benevolent Emperor. She was a fool not to understand herself, and Nero’s face would twist into a scowl along with a glare to show it. “Silence, Fool! Your Emperor has requested a favor of you, it is but your job to make it come to light!” It was no time for words, not now… Rita had to see just what she’d cultivated in her own mind, or else this’d be fruitless! If she wanted the Angels to see her Reason, then she’d need to make sure that Nero approved of it… it just wouldn’t be right without it. Regardless, seeing their Emperor like that, the people gasped, starting to fade out of existence with faint static to them, like they’d been completely erased like a computer program.
“Nero… Fine, then! If you want it so bad, I’ll make sure to rip you a new one!” Her scowl turning ever more fierce, Rita burst into a dash before spinning on her foot with her sword outstretched, making it so Nero had to deflect the sudden attack with her shield and opening her up for a quick swipe to the legs, which Rita proceeded to do as soon as impact was apparent. For that purpose, she’d plant her foot into the ground and quickly spin on it with leg aiming towards Nero’s own. The Emperor, to counter this move, would stab the ground with her sword and use her hand plus its extra leverage to deliver a swift kick to Rita’s gut while she was still recovering, making the silvernette lose balance and fall on her behind, though not for long as she immediately spun herself up to her feet and hopped a few steps away, getting her stance ready once more.
“I thought that this wouldn’t be easy… if we continue fighting, we’ll end up at a standstill… neither of us will be able to win…” With that thought in her mind, Rita shook her head, prompting Nero to look at her with an odd expression. “What’s the matter, My Praetor? Are you shirking your duties once more? I trust that you have the power to defeat me, no?” Of course not… not like this… she had nothing to help her right now…! After saying all that stuff to Hyde… could Rita really not win without her Persona to help? Did she come so far only for it to bite her in the ass?! That wasn’t going happen!
“Nero… You know better than I what skills I have… if we continue fighting, then we’ll only be at a standstill, you know that… why must we continue fighting for a fruitless endeavor?!” With a pained expression, Rita looked away from her opponent, making her frown and ease her stance. “Think about it, why is it that you fight? Is it to win? I want you to show me your power, not this dreck that you call a fight! Tell me, Rita Arisato, and honestly, do you believe that you are worthy of leading mankind into their Ascension? Do you really think that your world is what’s right for humans? Is your Reason the most acceptable one? Does it deserve to be enforced?” Why was it all so complicated? If this hadn’t happened… awakening at the gym… coming to the Azores Region… if this had never happen, it wouldn’t be so complicated….!
“You’re wrong.” True to her nature as a Persona, Nero read Rita’s inner thoughts, and opposed them. This was absolutely incorrect. “Your fate is in the cards, and they brought you here. Your purpose is here, and nothing could ever change that. The cards of your future have been long tied to the Supernatural… it was no coincidence that you just came here like that.” But… what? What did she mean…? Why…? What was this headache that just showed up like that…?! Why now, of all times?! “Nero… what are you talking about…?” With a tiny smirk, Nero sheathed her sword and extended her hand out, fingers posed in a snapping position.
“You’ll understand once I make you see… the reason why I needed to have you realize this… the reason why it’s your fate to be here… there was nothing you could do to change it before… but, right now, you have a way to fight back… to do so against the imposed order. To change the future into something better. Are you going to let Thesis run around while you search for your Reason? No… your Reason needs to have the strength of steel, so you never waver again! My Praetor… I trust that you won’t disappoint me. After all, I’m but a part of you.” After that speech, Nero would snap her fingers, making an audible clicking noise.
Rita, in turn, would feel her consciousness fade again, as she was transported somewhere else… into a dream long forgotten…
PvP Phase combat is now complete. Congratulations.
Rita has reclaimed the facade used to face life's hardships, the Initial Persona Nero Caesar.

A soothing but ominous feeling comes over you...
As Rita came to her sense, she’d feel nothing but a sense of vertigo as her consciousness settled on the ground below her feet suddenly, with nothing happening in between losing it and just landing here, in this spot. As she looked around, the silvernette could see people around her, walking in all directions as she stood by a skyscraper, cell in hand as her clothes would have somehow changed into her past school’s outfit… this was… no, not Tokyo… maybe Osaka? She’d been everywhere, but most of her school years were spent at Osaka, since her brother had become legal a few years before… just three, if she was right. This was… a year before coming to the Azores Region… what was she doing here?
“Are you finally conscious, My Praetor?” At the sudden voice from her flank, Rita shot her sight to the side, dropping her cell phone from her grip at the surprise, earning a snicker from the blonde woman’s mouth, then a disappointed sigh. “I didn’t expect you to be so surprised… am I truly that scary?” As she said this, Nero would bring a finger to her forehead and shake her head disapprovingly. Now, her Praetor couldn’t be that easily startled, could she?
“N-Nero… after that fight, you want me to not be startled by you?” With a small smirk, Nero shrugged, making Rita notice that her Persona was now wearing her regular clothing, and crossed her arms, somewhat cockily. “Tell me, now, was it or was it not necessary? You still lack something, My Praetor. I suggest that you realize it before long, lest it impede your progress in this journey. You still have no proved your Reason to me, nor have you demonstrated your true strength. These bonds that you have cultivated, are they not affecting you at all?” Why did everyone like to be so cryptic in this? Seriously… Nero was having fun, though, being the leader for once and all… usually, she just listened to Rita, so perhaps this would indeed be an interesting experience.
“The bonds I make with people… perhaps so… Nero, why is it that you need proof of my worth? Is my Reason not to your liking? You’re a part of me, correct? Then why do you disagree with me?” Crossing her own arms, Rita frowned, putting on a slight glare… this was a dream, surely, seeing as she didn’t remember going into an Alternate World, but no matter… “My Praetor… it is precisely because I am you that I do not approve of your Reason. You are much too weak to make it through, and you know that. Your nerves are fragile, your will wavering. Why should I let the Angels shape mankind in the way that you envision if it you will give up your most basic sense for it? Rita, you are not an Empress, nor are you a Queen, at least not yet. If you truly knew how to rule over the masses, then you’d already have realized what the fault in your reason is.” With another snap of her fingers, Nero changed the scenery slightly, into something a little more foreboding…
As the cityscape turned dark, Rita could see the people vanishing in much the same way, with static and all, while a wave rushed over the roads and buildings themselves, coating them with a thick line of moss along with breaking quite a few windows. The city would look absolutely ravaged at this point, like humans had not lived there for countless years. It was a sight to behold and fear at the same time…
“Wha…?” Rita obviously couldn’t hold in her wonder at such an amazing sight. It was beautiful, honestly, but quite ominous as well… she couldn’t help but wonder just what would be wandering around… honestly, it was quite frightening. “Nero… what is this? Is this Osaka…? What happened here?” Nero would frown, not sure how to respond or at least give an answer that wouldn’t sound offensive… really, this scenario was just the worst she’d find… However, it was quite simple to figure out what to do once a few black spots started wriggling around… Shadows… in here? Apparently so. The human mind was not devoid of Shadows, after all, and they certainly were tied to the collective unconscious.
“My Praetor, I am afraid that this isn’t just some projection… but, this is not the real world either. What you are seeing is the result of prosperity and advancement. Human Greed at its finest. In your ideal world, humans cooperate until their bitter end, neglecting their surroundings and helping only each other. With everyone equal, no voice of consciousness sparked in their minds, and the species vanished in but a few decades, unable to sustain its unyielding thirst for more power. Without ranks, society is a terrible place where nothing can work, and the strong only weaken themselves… however, the opposite is also true. In a world where the strong rule, those who are weak would seek those who are stronger, and take out the strong, only to appear strong themselves. The world you seek is neither of these, nor should it be… but a combination of both is not right either!” Nero would stomp her foot hard into the ground as Rita listened, unable to reply. What was this intimidating feeling? Her Persona truly was an Emperor through and through… this aura of authority, this overflowing ego… it was simply too much.
“Your mind is rotten with thoughts of grandeur, and you think only of imposing your own Reason onto others. Is that not true?” Rita couldn’t muster a word at the accusation, and instead stood, still, unsettlingly calm… “My Reason… it isn’t a Reason that those who dislike life would support. For the ones who intend to be free, my Reason is all but a Godsend, or even a possibility. The shackles I intend to lock onto society are unimaginable… is that what you’re saying, Nero?” With a nod from her Persona, Rita put a hand to her face, unable to muster many more words. “That’s bullshit… I don’t want a world where I’m like everyone else. Most of all, I want a world where our individuality is valued, where everyone can be happy with themselves, and not shy out of possible prejudice! The Reason I value isn’t Egalitarian, nor is it Meritocratic! I intend to create a justice of individuals, a world where people can live while respecting each other! Is that an acceptable Reason, Nero Caesar?! Tell me!”
“You’re forgetting a key point, My Praetor.” Nero would extend her hand out again as a light blue card would float down onto it, depicting the Arcana labeled “Fool”… “Your bonds are your strength, yet you seem to neglect them at your times of most need… don’t you remember what your loved one has said? If that isn’t a world everyone wants, then why bother with it? It is not easy to create a perfect world, nor should it be. We are prejudiced all our lives, stereotypes hounding us from every possible direction… I sought to change that with my rule. I valued all my people and loved them like they were my own family. I wanted to change the views in the masses’ minds that an Emperor should be someone you don’t ever speak with. I lived to serve them, and served them I did to my bitter end. Conflict was essential, but it was never worth it to hurt someone permanently in the end… I stabbed myself for that same reason, and do you know what I said to the only loyal guard to me left? ‘Too late… this is fidelity…’. I died in a loyal subject’s hands, surrounded only by murderers out for my head. My vision was ruined, I was not able to make it come to fruition… yet, I upheld it, and even with my head on a silver platter, I refrained from even attempting to steal someone’s life. I expect you to do the same, My Praetor…”
Rita looked down onto the ground, her eyes starting to get somewhat wet with tears. What was this? Was Nero’s own will passed down to her…? Why did they have to compete…? What was the point of all this?! “Nero… I get it now. My Reason needs not be established by force, is that right? I don’t need to hurt my enemies… just by convincing them, I avoid whatever tragedy may occur… I see… Nero, thank you.” Walking up to her Persona, Rita clasped the Fool Card tightly, her feelings for Lia returning to her… was she really going to go through with this…? Her Reason… why was it so complicated to reach…?
As the card vanished into a light blue smoke, Nero would as well with a satisfied nod, a smile on her face, as the world was engulfed by a pure black tar-like substance. Rita, looking around, just shoved her hands into her pockets, looking up at the cloudy sky with flowing tears as rain had just started pouring… perhaps she’d finally wake up from this dream soon…

As her mind came to once more, the tar would have vanished and the area changed smoothly into a… sky… just a deep blue sky stretching all around her… her body would feel weightless as she could only stare upwards into the Sun, which would strangely not cause her to deviate her sight…
“Ah, I see… My Praetor, this world… it’s wonderful, is it not? I believe that it truly is Reason that you have found… it’s a beautiful sight, that is for sure. Tell me, My Praetor, do you know what your purpose is now?” Being prompted by the words of her Persona, the dazed girl was suddenly turned around from her floating position and would feel some kind of invisible ground beneath her feet. Along with that, she’d see that Nero would be looking out into whatever horizon could be seen in this dream world of theirs…
“Nero… purpose… I dunno. I think that’s something that no-one can really know. Like, what’d you do if you knew? I think… I should just follow whatever path I think is best… a future for every member of the human kind… I think that would be a sight more wonderful than this one…” Closing her eyes, Rita turned to where Nero was looking after responding, shoving her pair of hands into their respective pockets, letting the wind blow her now free hair wild as they seemed to be moving, yet not changing place… it was like the world itself was moving beneath their feet…
“Yes… I think that would be everyone’s desire, to say the truth… My Praetor, will you lead them?” She was curious. Rita certainly had a talent for leadership, so having her as the top of the human race wouldn’t be a bad choice… however, that wasn’t a choice to begin with. “Nero… I’m no leader. I’m not an emperor, or an empress. I’m not a Queen, a boss, or even a person of power. I’m just a normal girl… I’ll do my damn best to make sure that this Reason of mine benefits everyone, but… I’m not sticking around to see it…” Closing her eyes, Rita shook her head. Her plan was never to be placed on top… no, that would just be unfair. Her goal was to create a world where everyone could be free to be who they wanted to be… that was a world where we didn’t need an omnipotent ruler, but just agreed-upon rules… no-one with power… perhaps an anarchy wouldn’t be the best choice, though…
“I honestly don’t know, Nero… I’m frightened of what’s to come… I have no idea what’s gonna happen… I’m scared, but I’m eager to see, to find out for myself… Nero… I’m really glad that I ended up with you as a Persona. I have no idea whether someone else would have done this for me…” Turning to Nero, Rita extended her a hand, which the blonde Persona promptly took before kneeling down in front of her silvernette User. “My Praetor, there was never any doubt that I’d be the one summoned by your ego… I am you, and you are me… my name is Nero Caesar, The Flower of Rome and wielder of the first flame. I swear my sword unto your cause, for it is mine as well… I trust that you will not disappoint me.” With a tiny smirk, Nero placed a kiss on Rita’s hand, a sign of her unyielding loyalty… Nero was someone that would never leave Rita, and do the same as she had done right now if the girl ever strayed from her path again…
“My Praetor… I offer onto you the blessing of the Gods, the Light of the Embryonic Flame. Let it shine ever brighter as it incinerates our enemies… My Praetor, the True Aestus Estus is yours.” Bowing on one knee, Nero put on a small grin as Rita used her still outstretched hand to grab at the air. Much to her expectations, what came of that movement was nothing else than her sword… although, even despite all the usual courtesies, the essence of the blade seemed to change itself, its radiant crimson color having been swapped for a burning hot white color, keeping the golden and black decors.
“Nero… this sword, what did you do…?” Nero simply shook her head, a smile still sitting on her face as she looked onto the ground with the same courteous pose. “I see… I understand, Your Highness. I shall use this sword to bring about our mutual goal, that’s a promise I make to you.” Seemingly glad for Rita having gotten the point, Nero would get up onto her usual pose before looking again into the horizon, the sky darkening quickly… this dream had gone on long enough, it seemed, and both of them knew that… wordlessly, both Persona and User looked out into the endless ocean as a swift gust of wind expelled them from this world of wonder… there was no need for it anymore, after all, so it would soon be destroyed and closed off… perhaps that was for the best after all.
Rita's bond with her Persona has risen and, in turn, so has her power. Through the maxing of her Initial Persona, Rita has gained the ability to use the Human Skill "Light of the First Flame".
Quote :
Human Skill Name: Light of the First Flame Persona Name: Nero Caesar Tier: Tier 2 Cost: Passive Type of Damage: Passive Description: Nero's hidden potential is released in Rita's sword, the Aestus Estus, sharpening its edge and changing its coloration from crimson into white. In terms of mechanics, this skill boosts Rita's critical hit ratio with her Soulbound weapon by 30% in both PvS and PvP. This skill is symbolic of Rita finding her true Reason and dedicating herself to it. Nero herself isn't affected by this skill at all since she has given it to Rita instead, allowing for the User to be farther affected by her journey itself in the process.

Ding dong!
With the ringing of the doorbell, Rita’s mind shot awake, still confused about what just happened, though still keeping it in mind… despite being a dream, Rita could feel Nero’s presence burn stronger than ever in her heart, a surefire sign that the dream was anything but… it was a waking call, if anything, and it worked… though, it was all in such a short time span… despite her mind being so tired, Rita had only slept for about an hour…? That was so little time… the entire dream seemed to have gone on for at least two hours… what was this?
As the doorbell rung again, Rita broke out of her daze, immediately getting up from her bed and putting on her slippers, still wearing the same clothes that she wore to the training session with Sharaku… it was fine, there was no frost on them anymore, so they’d look passable. “I’m coming, hang on!” It seemed that whoever as at the entrance as somewhat impatient, seeing as they were ringing the bell many a time so far… just how many times had she missed while out cold? A chuckle couldn't help but escape her mouth as she opened the door, a thin smile on her face.
“Hello, what can I----“ As the door opened, Rita froze for a second, not able to believe her eyes… what seemed to be the problem? Well… “Hey, Rita, how are you?” As a calm voice echoed in Rita’s apartment, she couldn't help but look up at the man’s face… and oh boy, was she in for a surprise…
A calm smile sat on his face as his jet black hair shone in the light of the sun coming through a window in the hallway outside. His face stayed utterly calm while Rita's turned almost comical, her mouth slightly gaping while her eyes scanned his full body. “It’s been a long time, little sis… I’ve missed you, y’know?” As she heard him speak, Rita’s eyes turned a bit watery before she jumped onto him, hugging him completely. The young man let out a slightly goofier smile while petting her.
“Onii-chan! I didn’t know you were in the Azores Region! What brought you here?” Well, it was a silly question. Crymson was long since planning to visit Rita in here before, and he had been here for quite a while… well, mostly not giving any hints of it, seeing as he was a detective himself, after all, so it was only natural that he’d like to surprise her in the sneakiest way possible…
“I’ve been here for a while, Rita. I was only planning on meeting up with you this weekend but… well, I guess certain circumstances made me arrive earlier… You don’t mind giving your big bro a couch or something to sleep on, do you? Of course, I’m kidding.” He’d chuckle lightly, obviously referencing the Broadcast… well, it wasn’t like he was surprised, being the person he is… honestly, though that would have to be for later… Rita, however, wouldn’t even think too much, regressing back into her slightly more childish face as her brother was with her… all this complicated stuff? Useless to her right now. For now, though… he had some other ideas.
“Rita… we need to speak.” From the confused look, Crymson deduced that Rita was none the wiser to his little “hint” before… really? She needed to keep her ears peeled as well as she did her eyes. “Let’s sit down… we have a lot to talk about… though perhaps the Velvet Room would be better… I could show you myself.” Rita blinked a tad, letting it all process… Velvet Room? How did he know about that place…? Well… really, that didn't matter much. Rita trusted her brother completely… after all, she had no reason to… she knew that it was for the best so perhaps… well, they’d need to wait and see.
“Onii-chan… wh-what do you mean…? I… huh?” The mumble brought a frown to Crym’s face, his hand moving up to his forehead to cover most of his right temple. “…let’s just go and you’ll see.” Reaching into his pocket, Crym brought out what seemed to be a slightly rusted key hanging from an old keychain… taking hold of Rita’s hand, he’d lead her on outside after closing the door behind them, almost dragging her confused person into the blue door, which he seemed to open without trouble… just… what was about to happen…?
