"Welcome to the Velvet Room..."

A warm ray washes over your body that seems inviting. When you open your eyes, you can only see a long nosed man, sitting across from you. By his side was various Attendants, three dressed as plane Attendants, and one dressed as an elevator attendant. Their piercing golden eyes would stare towards you, however; even if you wished to move you could not.

"Ah, I believe we've met once before, young man. It means you are truly an interesting guest to be re-invited here." The man's voice was as abnormal as before, and his small beady eyes did not take their focus off of Naito. "Do not fret, you are not in danger here. Quite the contrary. You have gone through such change within your heart. You are not the same User who sat in that very chair those many years ago, and now the bonds you've created with others have gained you a new inner strength." The strange man would spread his arms, and a swell of power seemed to be forming between his hands. It started as a small bright light, and suddenly began to grow into a small globe. Within this globe, the young man would be able to see and hear the voices of those he had spent the last few years with. From the first time he stepped into Ueitawa, to the very moment now where he was willing to sacrifice his life for another.

He'd sit, and watch his entire journey up until that moment, in just a mere few seconds. And in a blink of an eye, the floating swell of energy would shatter, and what would be remaining would be a single card.

The card would hover before Naito before vanishing in a flurry of azure pearls and washing over him. He'd feel as if all the injuries he had suffered up into that moment were taken from him. Almost as if he were a new person altogether. And within him, he would have gained a new power...

Thus, they get a 15% boost across the entire board excluding the boost you already have from being a part of the first Arcana type you had chosen. Chance stood with his/her sisters and watched the guest in the chair. He seemed to hesitate, as if he had accepted his death and thus did not wish for the power he had unlocked. The Attendant broke from the line and made his/her way to the guest sitting in the seat. For once, Chance did not care if she would be punished for neglecting her duties, or becoming too close to the guests. Her mission in life was to lead, but she found herself wanting to follow her guests out these doors. Thanks to that, she gained the ability to leave the room like her elder sister, but here she found herself back. It was almost like a calling to her. She had not been there to see Naito-san fall, but for some reason she could feel it. Perhaps thanks to the bond they had formed over that year, she could now understand what it felt to be human and truly feel one another, even when far apart. If he had given up hope to live, it was her goal to snap him out of it, and that's why she was there.

So when she reached her guest, sitting in the chair as if his life was finally forfeit, she would raise her hand and slap him across the face. "Don't make that face, Naito-san. Out of anyone, I'd never think you'd be the one to make that face. If you give up now, then the people in that world will die, and your death with be in vain. Don't you want to see Miki-san again? How about Destiny-san? How about.. me?" The Attendant grasped her hat and pulled it down over her face, as if hiding her current expression. "If you want to die, then fine... But is that what your friends would want too? It's not what I'd want, so please live. If you do, I promise I'll never leave your side again. Okay?" The Attendant's face was as red as a cherry as she pulled her hat back up and leaned forward. In the heat of the moment, she stole a kiss from her guest and stayed like that for several seconds. She was sure her Master and siblings would ridicule her for this, but Chance was becoming more and more human ever since those events. However, when she noticed what she did, she pressed her hands against her face and ran back in line.

Naito's silver eyes stayed downcast through this whole speech of inner strength, and a new power within. He didn't bother to look at this globe of energy, or the card that transpired afterwards. In all honesty, he felt content with his life ending then and there. Perhaps this Naito was right, and the work he had done up until this moment was meaningless. Looking back to all the battles he had to stomach, this was a fitting end. His promise to Miki... She'd get over it. Destiny could also get over it. So could Chance, and the rest of this group he spoke of as comrades. And even after that smack to his face, he didn't bother to look up at the culprit, however he did hear the voice. This wasn't the Chance he met in this alternate reality, but instead he could tell this was the Attendant he had worked with during last year's fiasco. Even through the kiss, he didn't look up once to see her. Instead, he gave a sigh and stood from the seat. "This room is a pain in the ass. After this, I'm done with everything to do with this world. I can't even die in peace with you all around me... Pissants." He turned and walked to the exit of the room.

"This is goodbye... For good. I'm no longer your guest, so don't bother me anymore. This part of my life is over."

The Denizens of the Velvet Room watched one of their own Attendants show affection to their reliant guest. Igor's expression did not change, however many of the Attendants were caught off guard with such a bold display. Needless to say, Justine out of all the Attendants made the biggest fuss, swinging her arms in silent jealousy. When Naito made his proclamation of no longer being their guest, the Attendants went quiet. Igor's small eyes would close and he'd fold his hands beneath his chin with a smile. "I see. This is truly the end of your journey. You were a splendid guest, and I believe it will take many days before we meet another such as you." They watched him leave through the entrance, and for some time there was silence before Igor spoke once again. This time, his words were directed to Chance.

"It appears your guest has left the care of the Velvet Room, Chance. Your duty to him as an Attendant is over." The room remained quiet at this time, before Igor's eyes would open and he'd continue to speak. "However, as a friend and loved one, that duty never ends. You may continue to assist him as long as you see fit. You do not need to be bound by this world to give a helping hand to your friends. I believe one day, even you will become an important guest of this room." The Proprietor of the Room had given Chance her blessings to start her own journey. She had become more human than she could have possibly known, and not even he wished to keep her bound to the room any longer. It was a rare occasion that Igor gave his blessing to one of the dolls he had created for the Room to pursue their own bonds in life, but after such a brash notion, how could he resist?

Chance watched her guest leave the room, claiming he was done with their world. A frown did come on her face, but since day one she knew at one point the guest of the Velvet Room left their room for good. It meant his journey was over, and he found the answer he had been searching for in his life. The Attendant placed a hand over her heart and gave a slight breath. On one hand she was happy for him, but another she was quite upset. This meant her duty to assist him was over. Well, until Master Igor spoke directly to her, which made Chance stand straight up and face him. Her duty as his Attendant was over, but as his loved one and friend it was not? For some reason, the words made her want to cry, but instead she smiled and bowed to her Master. "Thank you, Master. I hope to make you, and my brothers and sisters, proud of me. I believe my own journey to find my answer to life's greatest question will begin now aswell. Please continue to watch over me." Chance bowed her head once more before running off towards the open doorway. Maybe she could find the answer she sought. It'd take alot of effort, but maybe there was a chance she'd grow as a person aswell. So then, when she met Naito-san again, he'd be proud of her.
