Current Events
Updated: 20/07/2020

**ALERT!** After a rather eventful evening at Maksim's Party, three teenagers seems to have gone missing. The doors of Vault Olympia have been breached due to a to this day unknown assailant, who sabotaged the doors locking systems, allowing demons to make entry. Thanks to the excellent defensive capabilities of the Vault's Security drones, the Attack was put to an end, and the invading monsters fled to the outside. Right now, the Doors of Vault Olympia are currently open, allowing any survivors of the fall to seek shelter within the Vault's safe halls. What Vault Security officials think of this development remains unclear as the Chief of Police and Security of Olympia refused to leave a comment. This is Rianara, of Olympia news, signing out.

The site is entering a new era as our team of mods works tirelessly on updating old and obsolete information threads and links. Over the Summer, we aim to make many changes to the forum, including writing a comprehensive beginners' guide to help new players accommodate to the combat and other rp systems in place here.

Be sure to constantly check the update thread for any changes to the boards. You can find it ->Here<-

A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A hopeless place [Sharaku]   A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 EmptySat Nov 01, 2014 5:06 pm

Heh, right. Shun was not like most. Sharaku couldn't deny that. Though, wasn't everyone different in a way? Eh, what did it matter anyway. It was obvious he wasn't getting any other answer from the younger, so he might just as well leave it at that. He would only smile lightly, not questioning anymore for now. It wasn't like he even really needed an answer, and the conversation seemed to be dying either way. Oh well.

A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 Tumblr_inline_mxml6rszNW1sn3vq4
''.............?.............''

Sharaku was a little confused when Shun went ahead to declare that there was something else, but didn't finish his sentence. At first, he would simply stare at Shun unblinkingly, as the younger went to stand on his toes and all. He wasn't really getting it yet. Oh, sure he wasn't the type to rule out that possibility, and normally he might have thought of that. However, with what happened so far, and the fact that the younger seemed to have troubles with swallowing everything and making a certain decision just a while ago....Well, he kind of wouldn't have expected this almost right in tow. That in mind, Shun's intention hadn't really hit him until they were about nose to nose. Which...still technically gave him a small amount of time for a reaction, but he honestly had no idea how to in that short moment.

Ah, well....Okay. ''Mn...'' To be honest, he still had no idea 'Why this and now', but....Whatever. For a short while, he'd do nothing but stand still. He was still somewhat baffled by this whole thing. Really, what do you do when your dance partner suddenly decides to pull a stunt like that? Question of the year. However, shocked as he was, this wouldn't last him long. That was not his style after all. Huffing a bit of warm breath through his nose, he'd close his eyes, leaning forwards and own a little, wrapping one arm around the younger's waist blindly, to help Shun steady with their heigth difference and all. Shooing the amusing idea of biting the younger for the stunt away, he would stay like that for now, letting Shun decide the next move. After getting over the fact that this was rather out of the blue, he wouldn't say he was bothered. Maybe a little uncertain, but that wasn't enough of a reason to push away. He could be touchy at times, mainly when not warned about such beforehand, but the fact that they had been in close quarters already played in Shun's favor for now. If the younger had barreled onto him in a different situation, he might not have gotten through this easy. At times, being jumped out of nowhere is a bad idea.

A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A hopeless place [Sharaku]   A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 EmptySat Nov 01, 2014 8:36 pm

As awkward as it felt, Shunnosuke managed to do it.
A kiss. Initially, it was just...plain mechanical. In theory, in the series, in the books...it seemed easier in basically every form of media, but in practice... With eyes closed, you have to rely pretty much on what you're told for, and on your instincts, no matter how flawed they were. And for some seconds, that feeling of inadequacy remained, until he felt comfortable enough to actually...do something else, like holding Sharaku's face with his both hands. Having the gesture returned, as well as settling in Sharaku's arms, served to ease Shunnosuke's sensations of stiffness, shyness, insecurity and inexperience, in short everything that would make that tender moment pretty much the worst possible...when it actually became quite a good deed the minute he stopped worrying about his performance and let himself be carried away by the only feeling that truly mattered.
A kiss. A stolen kiss, for several seconds.
Not merely a kiss, but his very first kiss.

When he felt like he had enough — his rigid and traditional side speaking louder and warning him that not only he had to breath, but to let go of the man and allow him to breath as well —, he would slowly lean backward, opening his eyes shortly after to face Sharaku. A thin, bashful smile bloomed under his heavy, warm breath and his probably red as pepper face.

...hn, I guess you'll say that was too bold this time too, won't you?

A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A hopeless place [Sharaku]   A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 EmptySat Nov 01, 2014 10:06 pm

....Interesting. That was probably a moderately good word to describe the current situation. As much as Sharaku hadn't initially expected this to go through as it had, or even actually happen in the first place, he wouldn't say it was unpleasant or any of the like. In actuality, he was moreso surprised Shun had the guts to have gone for it. Thinking back on it, it admittedly had been a rather risky move from the younger's side. Afterall, who goes and kisses people all of a sudden, not knowing how they feel about the idea at all? Hm, though...by that logic, he should have been bothered by this much more than he was. And he wasn't really. He might have been, had Shun chosen to do more than this, but a simple kiss was...okay? In a sense. He had no idea how the younger percieved this whole thing, and he would probably have slight trouble wrapping his mind about it for a while, however, he wasn't too worried. Until Shun would decide to pose it in a complicated way, that is. In the light of things, he was fairly fine with rolling along as long as he didn't get 'poked' in the wrong way. Either way, expecting him to take a very serious stand in terms of this would be somewhat farfetched.

A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 450730

Taking a slightly deeper breath when Shun pulled away, he would brush a few fingers against his lips thoughtfully, as he gazed at the younger, his expression taking on a playful smile, almost bordering on a light smirk after hearing the teen's words. Considering what just happened...this was what Shun decided to ask? An intriguing...choice. If there was a specific underline meaning to that, he was either not getting it, or taking it in a different manner. Though, right now he had a feeling Shun was simply trying to jest. Perhaps to lessen the awkwardness, or to deter attention from his currently red painted face? Eh, whichever it was...it was still very amusing to hear this as first thing spoken after that. Sharaku would remain quiet for several moments before responding. ''Should I?'', he would chuckle lightly. ''...Honestly though? Probably yes. I had not expected that. I don't suppose you'd tell me what made you do it so suddenly?'', he would answer, as well as pose a lighthearted question. In a way....he was curious about that, but he wasn't sure whether he'd actually get an answer. Ah, well, but it never hurts to try.

A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A hopeless place [Sharaku]   A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 EmptySun Nov 02, 2014 5:54 pm

...maybe you shouldn't. — The teen would laugh along, in a self-conscious manner. To Sharaku's second inquire, though, he had no immediate reply. Does he need a reason? It was just a display of a deep affection. Perhaps the nature of that display would make it too intimate to be done with everybody, but...Sharaku wasn't everybody and he should know it already. Was the right one, or so Shun thought. Judging from this reaction, he apparently didn't take it badly, perhaps?? In fact, it was a light response, to Shunnosuke's alleviation.

After everything, it felt like this was proper moment. — He would simply answer to the first inquire. Indeed, the teenager recognized that instant as the right time. Explaining the whole romantic fraction of the student's perception would likely be too tiresome for the older, as he has already averred his lack of comprehension in regards to these intimate interactions. Plus Shunnosuke himself wouldn't want to look like a dreamy fool with dropped expectations. Still, he couldn't help but to wonder: did Sharaku like it or not? Sure, the student had no experience in those things, but...it was inevitable to ponder as to what Sharaku would think about it. Too bad in Shunnosuke's case, to "ponder" means to freak out internally and overreact should he receive a negative feedback.

Hum...was it bad? I mean, if I had asked you beforehand, what would be your answer?

A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A hopeless place [Sharaku]   A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 EmptySun Nov 02, 2014 7:38 pm

Proper moment. Ah, a simple answer really. On the other hand, Sharaku was none the wiser, to be honest. There were million of things he could imagine behind that one, and it wasn't like he knew what it was that Shun had in mind. What defined a proper moment afterall? ''Very well.'', he would respond simply, leaving it at that. He had a feeling he wouldn't understand properly even if he pressed on, asking for a more detailed explanation. Certain matters were just hard to grasp, and he was willing to give it up this time. It was just...he didn't think he was even in the mood to complicate it for himself right now. Let's keep it simple, even if that meant probably not processing it the way Shun did.

Shun's question made him stop in his tracks, however. Ehm. That was actually one to think about. The first part, not really, but the second...What would he have said? Straight away? No idea. That's like...almost the same as doing it all of a sudden. Just..adding one stepping stone : asking out of nowhere. ''Actually...I don't know..? I've never been straight out asked before. But, I suppose I wouldn't say no.'', he would answer after a moment of silence, offering a slightly sheepish smile. Now that he thought about it, it was a little lame. Not...that asking was stupid, but he could understand that it could kind of ruin the moment, at the very least. Ah, well. ''As for the first one, no, not really. Did you think it was?'', he would retort playfully, turning Shun's question against him. He didn't really want to give a rating or something. It wasn't like they really did that much, so eh. There was no reason to call it either bad or good. Though, yes, it could have been plenty worse, for such a surprising moment.

A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A hopeless place [Sharaku]   A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 EmptyMon Nov 03, 2014 7:47 pm

No...absolutely not. — The teen shook his head briefly, reinforcing his statement. That was far from "bad", in his opinion, and both positive responses he received would make the teen smile broadly. Disregarding the awkwardness in that moment, it was just...how he wanted it to be. In any event, his dreamy smile would be more than an appropriate answer to Sharaku's question. His lips would be partially opened, as he intended to say — or rather, ask — something to the man, but...nah. Not tonight, they already had a rather inconstant interaction, with so many ups and downs.

Well then, we danced enough already, don't we? — Shunnosuke snickered, lowering his eyes briefly while undoing the compelling short distance between them. The man didn't need to know he had a time limit to come home, right? Making that confession would make the student, who was still trying to deal with the unenviable moment, even sillier. — One thing I like in these places is that, once we're inside, we can't see the time passing. By now, it's probably a bit late... — Shunnosuke was okay with spending a bit more of time with him, as much as possible in fact and by this point, dancing classical styles in a hardcore nightclub wasn't even a concern anymore. Not when you have stern grandparents waiting at home to prune your liberty. Well, it's just a bit more, they wouldn't mind...or so Shun thought, convincing himself he could extend his stay and make time with the older. Unless Sharaku decided not to, but that's ultimately his choice. Shun would be ok with whatever he decided, for he already made his night.

A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A hopeless place [Sharaku]   A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 EmptyMon Nov 03, 2014 8:31 pm

So, all good? For a short moment, Sharaku was wondering as to why had Shun even asked in the first place. Seeing as the younger was rather obviously fine with it all. And...he didn't think he had made a move that would look like he had a problem with what went on..so.? Ah, whatever. He would shake his head slightly to himself, shooing random thoughts away, before looking at Shun calmly. The teen looked like he wanted to say something for a moment, which eventually ended in a statement about dancing... Speaking of which, he had almost forgotten about that already. Watching the younger step back, he would offer a light smile. ''Perhaps so. Not that we've been doing that for the last few moments anyway, have we?'', he would return, his smile bleeding into a half - smirk. Joke and all...but seriously, they haven't.

A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 Tumblr_mv1hmuEE0J1sxe3b9o5_500

When Shun commented on it getting late, he would tilt his head a little, giving the younger a contemplative glance. Was it? To put it simply, he didn't even have an idea what time it was when he came here, much less now. ''Hm? I have no idea what time it is.....'', he would muse aloud, trailing off a little, before looking at Shun somewhat questioningly. ''Does that mean you want to go already, or are you just showing appreciation for late hours of the day?'', he would inquire with a light chuckle. ''Either way, I don't mind either. It isn't like I really have anything to do, no matter what time it actually is.'', he would conclude, his tone seeping into that of indifference a little bit. Eh, time wasn't really of consequence to him. It wasn't like he had anything to hurry for. He lived on his own, except for his cat which was not really that much of a deal. Nor did he have to be home early for any reason. All in all, he was willing to roll with most scenarios.

A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A hopeless place [Sharaku]   A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 EmptyTue Nov 04, 2014 6:28 pm

Shunnosuke felt like his face was about to burn such was his state. My, that was such an in indiscreet, straightforward remark.

No, of course not. — He said, with an awkward smile. Of course he didn't accept Sharaku's offer to perform a ballroom dance expecting it to escalate into a couple kiss. Even Shunnosuke, scheming by nature, couldn't have think of something like that in light of the rather depressed situation he found himself prior to the man's arrival. Maybe even if he was in his normal state of mind, he wouldn't have the guts to go for it and actually kiss the older out of the blue. The way it happened was more due to influence of the place atmosphere and the moment. As to Sharaku's second inquire...well then, the teen didn't really want to go there and say "yeah, I need to go back before 10am because my grandparents told me so", how lame would that sound to an older lover? Not that he was already considering Sharaku his lover, but...yeah, he was. Up to a certain point, however, as he previously stated he needed to think about "everything", whatever that meant.

Neither of them, actually. — Chuckles. — It's just funny how time goes by so quickly when you're having a good time... — He finally said, returning his silent and smiling glance to his companion's face. Against all odds, his words were true to his emotions, the night they spent turned out to be quite good, at least on his side. When the student notice his stared lasted long enough to foment the rise of another awkward situation, he quickly gave continuity to the dialogue. — Anyway, yes, I should probably head home. I can't disrupt my sleep schedule or my skin will wake up as an old passionfruit. — And he meant it. — ...hum...care to make me company to the exit? — His request, as simple as it could be, had some hints of insecurity. He wasn't sure if Sharaku would comply with his solicitation, but...it wouldn't hurt asking.

A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A hopeless place [Sharaku]   A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 EmptyTue Nov 04, 2014 7:45 pm

Shun's moods were sure sort of jumpy. One moment the teen was going all out, even as far as being bold enough to kiss someone, and the other he's getting red-faced just from a simple teasing comment. Quite the difference. Then again, Sharaku probably shouldn't be saying anything on this subject, if he were to consider himself...at times, maybe. He would only chuckle lowly, not saying anything more to that. While seeing Shun pull off awkward moments was plausibly amusing, he wouldn't go as far as to make the younger flail too much. Overdoing it wasn't always the best idea.

''Ahm, time is unpredictable, yes.''
, he would comment a little offhandedly to Shun mentioning time went fast. Eh, he couldn't really say whether it was true or not, nor had he even checked what time it was yet. Hmm, he had nothing to draw from if he didn't know how long had they been there for real. Maybe it was a good thing, however...? After all, not knowing how much time had passed meant he wasn't paying attention to the time flow in general. Who needs to even care whether it's going quickly or not? During the short bout of silence, he would glance at Shun in a calm way, waiting to see whether the younger planned to say anything more. With all that happened up till now, he sure as hell wasn't going to find a little silence awkward enough. Hearing what was said next, however, he would burst into a slight laughing fit. Not that he knew what a passion fruit looked like when old, but just hearing that sentence put together was hilarious. He wanted to say something about it, but he wasn't even capable of making a proper statement for a moment. ''Yes, yes...'', he would mumble, just to say something. When Shun asked his question afterwards, he would do his best to compose himself, fixing up a pleasant smile. ''A pleasure.'', he would respond somewhat cheerfully, offering the younger a hand. All in all, he had pretty much nothing left to do here himself. Might as well go. Maybe he should actually look at the time as well....

A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A hopeless place [Sharaku]   A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 EmptyThu Nov 06, 2014 6:32 pm

He would say nothing, instead holding Sharaku's hand in complete silence letting his smile speak for himself. After everything, his gentlemanly behavior remained, to which the teen highly regards. Perhaps to Sharaku it would be a mere protocol, but on Shun's side, that was a very...romantic offer. Making their ways amidst the crowded dancefloor, not the easiest or fastest task in the world holding hands, that was indeed a dreamlike deed he never had before. Eventually, with a little bit of patience to ask however was in the way to move out, they would make it, though, reaching the Wave's Peak entrance.

Thank you. — The teen sighed, relieved for getting out of that ocean of heads and people and finally being able to move freely. He glanced at Sharaku, staying silent for a moment, just...there, smiling, in all of his juvenile shyness. By then, he wasn't even aware he was still holding the man's hand. — ...well now...I suppose we should say our farewells...?

A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A hopeless place [Sharaku]   A hopeless place [Sharaku] - Page 4 EmptyThu Nov 06, 2014 8:07 pm

Sharaku would follow along with Shun, silently for now, as they dodged the crowds here and there. There sure were many people around here at this time of the day... or night. He still didn't know the exact time at the current moment, but as said before, it didn't particularly matter. It was probably late, that was enough for him to know. It indeed wasn't any easier when holding someone's hand, but as long as they didn't seriously bump into someone, he wasn't going to complain. Besides, Shun seemed fairly happy to be doing this. Win? Maybe. Anything was better than an upsetting atmosphere afterall.

When Shun thanked him after they reached the entrance, he would give the younger a few blinks. He wasn't really sure what he was being thanked for? Was it because he actually accepted to lead Shun out? ''You're...welcome? Though, I don't believe you need to thank me for anything.'', he would give a response with a light smile. Whatever this was about. As Shun inquired about farewells, he would look downwards at their still connected hands, then back up at the teen. ''Hm. If you wish so? Though, I believe we live in the same direction for a while longer, and as I have no reason to stay longer either, we could go together for a bit.'', he would offer lightheartedly, leaving Shun to the choice. Whatever Shun decided on, however, it wouldn't change the fact that they did have the same route for a short while longer.

Depending on what Shun said, he would end up giving goodbyes at the appropriate moment, whether it was now, or later along the way, as well as letting go of the younger's hand, unless Shun did that first.

Hm, this was quite a long evening....

Huh? Sharaku wanted to make him company? Shunnosuke would stay still, blinking at him a few times. He could give his chauffeur a call anytime to pick him at the nightclub's entrance, or perhaps even dial the number of a reliable taxi driver telling his current location, but wow, that offer was even better. Sure at certain point where their ways part, the teen would have to either return to his previous options or go by foot to home, but at this point he didn't even mind a little walk, seriously.

Then we can stay like this for a little more... — He giggled sheepishly, trying to not sound so cheerful about it, even though inside he felt like he had fireworks where his heart should be. Even if they remained silent for the time being, Shunnosuke wouldn't mind. As long as he didn't let go of Sharaku's hand, that is.

And contrary to the teen's initial expectations, it ended up being a great night.
Exit.
