Updated: 20/07/2020

**ALERT!** After a rather eventful evening at Maksim's Party, three teenagers seems to have gone missing. The doors of Vault Olympia have been breached due to a to this day unknown assailant, who sabotaged the doors locking systems, allowing demons to make entry. Thanks to the excellent defensive capabilities of the Vault's Security drones, the Attack was put to an end, and the invading monsters fled to the outside. Right now, the Doors of Vault Olympia are currently open, allowing any survivors of the fall to seek shelter within the Vault's safe halls. What Vault Security officials think of this development remains unclear as the Chief of Police and Security of Olympia refused to leave a comment. This is Rianara, of Olympia news, signing out.

The site is entering a new era as our team of mods works tirelessly on updating old and obsolete information threads and links. Over the Summer, we aim to make many changes to the forum, including writing a comprehensive beginners' guide to help new players accommodate to the combat and other rp systems in place here.

Be sure to constantly check the update thread for any changes to the boards. You can find it ->Here<-

The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) 1431cn

The small group of Persona Users who had just solved their very first murder mystery had been transported to a strange world. They would be sitting in a bar, their heads down on the wooden tables, as if they were just waking up from a long sleep. They would be awoken by the celebration of a few people who sat within the bar. They were drinking, having fun, and laughing loud. With so many voices at once, it was hard to tell what they were talking about specifically. However, words that could be heard was "heist" and "success". Each of the users phones would begin to ring at this time, and they ghostly yellow hue would come from the screen.

The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) 2w7h475

"Wow. This place looks laid back. Well, you brats are pretty young, so no drinks for you, right? Anyway, this reality is alot different from our own. No one here has a Persona. Instead, you're currently on a flying blimp owned by this world's most notorious thieves. They call themselves the 'L.G.V.'. One of their members will be killed during their next heist. Your mission is to save their life, and it will be complete. Or you can allow them to die, and you'll still return back to your home reality. It's up to you. Whatever." The mysterious voice hung up the phone and left the group to start their mission. It seemed like the people in the bar was becoming silent as they were looking at the time and awaiting for their three leaders to arrive and let them know the plan for their next big gig.

Daiki would rub the back of his neck as if he had hurt something upon his landing, even though he was perfectly fine, “You know, I really wish they would give us some kind of warning before that happened. At least we didn’t land on something weird this time.” He would pick up his phone as soon as he heard it. That strange yellow glow would tell him that they were getting some kind of instruction. He would listen to what the voice had to say, “What the heck does L.G.V. even stand for? And why do we keep getting dragged into things that involve death? I would like it if the gods would take mercy on us and give us something a little more friendly. Maybe something involving flowers or fashion. I’d be good at that.” His rant was coming out as a slur of inaudible mumbles. When the voice was done speaking, he would put away his phone, “Well, you heard the voice. We have to save one of the members and Persona aren’t something these people should know about. Any ideas how to figure out which one were supposed to save and how?” Daiki wasn't the thinking type. Instead, he was more concerned with doing the job and getting out of here. It didn't help that he couldn't fight to save his life. He had to rely on the others for that sort of thing.

The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2)   The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) EmptyWed Oct 29, 2014 9:21 pm

Tomoe suddenly lifted her head as if being shook awake and looked around at the new world they were in. Even as jaded as she seemed to be, she looked a bit surprised to see that they were in some sort of airship as the man on the phone described. LGV? What did it stand for indeed? She was about twenty, so she was just on the edge of drinking, though she cannot say she wasn’t tempted. When the voice offered them to leave the person to die, Tomoe raised an eyebrow. Why would they let them die if it worked to fixing the place? What was on this guy’s mind…?

In any event, Daiki brought up the idea to plan. “Well, maybe we should give it a moment and try to identify who the person in question is. We will probably look out of place to those who catch us so we need to be prepared for the moment we will inevitably get caught. Unless we want to hide. But I doubt we could quick enough, also, since no one has a Persona, hold off on using ours unless we absolutely must…Also, there is one thing bothering me. Watch out for a hatchet. Perhaps the fact that it glowed may hint at something here, but either way it is bothering me...” She whispered at a low voice so only the group could hear were someone eavesdropping. No doubt they were going to look like suspicious people when they got seen, so before that point, she would turn around slowly and quietly to watch the people celebrating and get a good look of them, while looking out for two things in particular: she was looking for the one that either looked like a leader of sorts or someone of interest, and she also looked for anything resembling a hatchet around the room from her position. That glow from it bothered her. She felt like the weapon was central to this world and what may happen soon…

The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2)   The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) EmptyFri Oct 31, 2014 12:12 am

Kahn lifted his head up from the bar, he was awoken by the sounds of celebration? What did they get a surprise party for solving the mystery? They seemed to be at a bar, so evidently somebody was celebrating something. He heard the word "heist" thrown around a lot, were they among thieves of some sort? Then his phone began to ring, and offered them an idea of what was going on? Who were the L.G.V. it stood for something most certainly, and it seemed as they had a bit of a following too. Evidently they were to prevent them from being murdered, or they could let them die...if it was to fix their world why on earth would they let them die.

Daiki and Tomoe began to discuss a plan, they had a point. They had a last resort to use in case their hands were forced, otherwise they should rely on themselves to prevent this from happening. "Getting caught attempting to hide would just make our case a bit worse, we'll just have to take our lumps as they come." He whispered keeping his voice low enough so only the group he teleported with could hear him. "As for who the person is, maybe they died in our world? I don't know, I'm just spit-balling here." The red haired young man added once Tomoe was finished discussing the plan, she was leader so he would follow her lead. The red haired young man looked around trying to identify anyone who might be considered a leader, or individuals who are carrying hatchets. However, he also looked for individuals who looked to be more than a little angry at such a happy time. If someone was going to kill someone else then they would have to be a motive, and wouldn't it be the case that someone in this band of thieves didn't get their fair share and wanted to kill the leader who took it from them? That seemed to be likely, but anything was possible in this world.

The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2)   The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) EmptySun Nov 02, 2014 3:05 am

Destiny's eyes slid open slowly as cheers and shouts reached her ears. She sat up after a few moments, turning her head to look around the new room she found herself in. Where...Where did all of these people come from? Where was she? A bar...? As her phone buzzed from inside her pocket, she pulled the device out, glancing over the front before flipping it open and placing it to her ear. That same voice from the shrine...his attitude was slightly irksome, but the information was useful. So they were supposed to save someone from getting killed on this heist planned by the "L.G.V."? That sounded simple enough, but it would be like finding a needle in a haystack. There seemed like dozens and dozens of people here; to investigate each would take up entirely too much time. So...what exactly was their plan...?

What Tomoe said made sense. Keeping a low profile in this place was a good idea, considering they didn't know what--or, well, who, she supposed--exactly they were up against. The hatchet was something she would definitely keep an eye out for as well. Dropping her voice to match the volume of Tomoe's, Destiny added, "That girl said she would be meeting us on the next floor. Do you think she meant here?" It was possible, she supposed. Why wouldn't one of the floors in a supernatural tower hold another reality? How that worked exactly, she wasn't sure, but still, it couldn't hurt to listen for any children around the area.

"Died in our world...?" The blonde's forehead creased as she frowned. How Kahn came to that conclusion, she had no idea. But a guess was still a guess, she supposed. ...Actually...now that she thought about it, hadn't that odd voice on her phone said something about fixing what happened last year, back at the shrine when everything froze? In that case, perhaps Kahn was onto something. "Do you mean the murder victims from the incidents last year?" She began quietly counting to herself, checking through all the names she could remember. Kizuna's principal and its athletics club leader had been killed. So was that entire history class. Then there was Lorielle, a girl from her class who apparently died at the hospital, and possibly Nola Shephard, the missing teacher. Of course, "Marah B." was on that list too, but he was technically alive right now, so he couldn't be their target. So...who were they looking for, exactly? Keeping her arms folded on the table, the girl glanced around as nonchalantly as possible, checking the surrounding faces and seeing if they would match up to any of the people on her little list while also checking for any signs of a hatchet, as Tomoe had asked.

The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2)   The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) EmptySun Nov 02, 2014 5:00 pm

Behind the doors of the front cabin, three females would be sitting within a lounge, conversing with one another. There was a giant whiteboard infront of them, and a violet haired young woman stood infront of the board with a marker. She seemed to just be finishing up some sort of complex plan that she was showing to two blondes sitting in the seats and watching. "You see, it's a simple plan. If we're going to get this Ruby, we're going to have to follow the guidelines with little fault. I'm sure you could do this with no issue, Gabriela. However, our other member here.." The Violet haired female would look towards a certain blonde that was sitting with an innocent smile, yet her eyes were wandering. She seemed to be paying attention, at the same time having some issues following along with the strict plan. She was more about stepping into the action, not really assessing everything through a plan that could potentially fail. Though, Valentine's plans never truly failed. The blonde rubbed her head and gave a smile.

The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) Tumblr_misvswGzrp1r3ucdro1_r1_500

"Of course I followed along, Valentine. All those past plans that failed was not my fault. It was the fault of circumstance, you know?" That soft smile was focused towards the veteran violet thief, and it caused her to turn her head with a scowl. Gabriela laughed at the two others, and in turn they began to laugh too. It would be strange to anyone else to see these three together, and in such a friendly mood towards one another. Perhaps because in this alternate world, no matter what ordeal they were faced with, they seemed to find strength together. Without a world falling apart, and Shadows roaming about, they had the chance to be normal girls. And maybe through that, they were able to become close friends, unlike themselves on the other side.

The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) Tumblr_mqixv6FIRg1qztgoio2_500

"Okay, well we'll keep in contact with these devices. Gabriela, I'm sorry that you'll have to be the one dressing up for this excursion, but I'm sure you can pull the job off. Now, what we're going to need are a few more people to join along." Valentine handed each of the females a small portable device. As she did this, Gabriela would be the first to speak up. "Well, we have alot of band wagoners out there. I'll go see if any want to volunteer to join us during this event." The young women all nodded their heads at each other and Gabby would leave the room.

The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) 2iifx9h

"Alright you people. We need some volunteers to help us out for the next heist. Who's game to get their hands alittle dirty?" Of course everyone roared with excitement, but her eyes continued to scan the crowd for anyone who she deemed capable.

PostSubject: Re: The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2)   The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) EmptyMon Nov 03, 2014 4:31 am

He would look at the others as they began to wake up after he had. He would almost give a chuckle at Tomoe and Kahn, “We’re hiding in plain sight. It would be even weirder if we acted as if we didn’t belong.” He would hear the rest of Tomoe’s advice, but he didn’t think she was on the right track, “The death is supposed to happen during the next heist, so I don’t think that we’ll find much here at the moment.” Or maybe he wasn’t being cautious enough. He was rather lax about what was happening at the moment. As for Destiny’s question about if the girl would be here, he would stop to think, “I believe we’re still on the same floor, so I don’t think that’s it. It’s like going to a different room in the house, but still being on the same level as before.” That was how he thought about it, at least.

Daiki knew one thing in particular. If you wanted to stop someone from dying, the best place to be was probably by their side. As soon as the blonde child came out asking for volunteers, he would play along and give a roar like the others. As much as it was humiliating to act like this, he figured their best bet was to fit in. He would look towards the others. If they were going to be able to do this, he figured they would all need to go and have a plan ready. He wasn’t good at planning, so he would leave that up to them. All he knew was that this would be the ultimate hiding in plain sight. His job was just to be there to play his part in his teammates’ plan.

The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2)   The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) EmptyMon Nov 03, 2014 2:46 pm

Tomoe listened to Kahn, Destiny and Daiki. “There’s always a chance whatever is used will be here. Hence being cautious is always a must,” Tomoe said back to Daiki. “Though he’s right. The girl that said she’d meet us is probably on the next floor. We should prepare and brace ourselves nonetheless.” But Kahn did bring up a good point. The one dying here may have died in the real world. So that would be Principal Platiere, Mako Honomura, Lorielle Rutherford, and Marah Bee. She’d have to inquire about some of those people after this was all settled. But her train of thought would be interrupted when a small young girl showed up behind the doors of a cabin and asked for volunteers to the heist. Daiki had the right idea. In fact, she felt herself getting a little excited even though just a second ago she had been looking for a hatchet and possible death. Oh dear, had her medication start to wear off? Despite her rational thoughts, she would use one of her hands to grab Kahn’s arm, and the other to grab Destiny’s and raise them both, shouting among the crowd. “Over here! We’re ready to go!” she shouted with a cocky grin. She practically stood up, showcasing her and the others’ hands, ready to get down and dirty with this heist. It really was the best way to stay hidden and perhaps get more info out of the so called L.G.V. Hopefully Tomoe’s sudden blast of excitement, and confusion would get the girl to pick them. But naturally if she and Daiki were going, so were Kahn and Destiny, whether they liked it or not!

PostSubject: Re: The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2)   The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) EmptyWed Nov 05, 2014 5:17 am

The discussion seemed to revolve around what to look for, and he felt as though they had covered everything. When Destiny asked if he was talking about the murder victims, he nodded toward her. That is exactly what he was thinking actually, after all this person was going to be murdered so it seemed like a decent logical jump. Still baseless, but it might not be a bad idea to keep in mind. Though when he saw a young blond haired woman he was more than a little stunned, she announced that she was looking for volunteers, but that isn't what caught the red head's attention. It was her boyish appearance....was that Gabby? Lori's friend, Gabby? L. Gabby. V.? He had no idea who the V stood for, but he knew one thing about the Gabby and Lorielle in his world.

Those two were inseparable, hopefully that logic held up in this world too. He felt Tomoe's hand on his arm, and that was enough to shake him out of his thoughts. Realizing that the best way to get in on this heist would be to get picked by Gabby. His rose his other arm, attempting to use his full reach and height to the group's advantage in being noticed, and waved them enthusiastically. "Hey! We're up for getting our hands a little dirty over here!" He shouted, and if it appeared their attempts were falling short then the red haired young man would on a stool or table to help make the group more noticable. Of course, if he did that then they would not be considered very stealthy, granted that was the point here.

PostSubject: Re: The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2)   The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) EmptyThu Nov 06, 2014 9:40 pm

Destiny nodded thoughtfully at Daiki's explanation. It was a good analogy, she supposed. How a tower managed to house multiple realities on its floors, she had no idea. It was actually a bit boggling. ...Perhaps it was better to think of the two separately, connected but not one and the same? ...Yes, that would do. That would do quite well, actually. It saved her the trouble of trying to rationalize all of this; supernatural things never paid much heed to the ways of the world anyways, did they?

A blond figure appeared at the front of the room, requesting volunteers. The mentioning of the word "heist" immediately caught the girl's attention. Whoever might be killed was going to be on that heist. It seemed logical that the best place to be would probably be on that little mission. Following the others' lead, Destiny smiled as wide as she could and leaned forwards, nearly rising out of her seat in feigned anticipation. She'd even wave the hand Tomoe had currently grabbed onto, hoping the added motion would attract the apparent leader's attention and help at least one person from their group get chosen.

PostSubject: Re: The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2)   The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) EmptySat Nov 08, 2014 11:19 pm

Well only someone blind would ignore the group swinging their hands in the air like some sort of maniacs. Gabby leaned on the railings and looked at them with her round eyes. They were and odd bunch, but very enthusiastic. "Sure, why not? You guys down there, come meet me in the back room." Of course people were upset they were not chosen, but Gabby gave a smile turned back towards the room she came from. They were free to follow.

When she returned back to the room, Valentine would be sitting on the couch next to Lorielle. Her arms were crossed and there was a slight redness to her face as she was looking away. Lorielle, on the other hand, was leaning close and looking at her kouhai's chest. "Valentine, your chest has gotten larger recently, hasn't it?" The blonde haired young woman tiled her head and Valentine's face turned even more red before she covered her chest even more. "S-Stop it! You're embarrassing me.. Why do you always pick on me?" She squirmed in her seat before both ladies looked up at Gabriela and regained their composure. Of course Gabby stood there with her hand palming her face. "Well, I found a small group of others to join us. Once they're in here, let's start the debrief of the plan. To be honest, they don't look too smart, so keep it simple, okay?" Gabby gave a nervous laughter, and the two other girls looked at each other with tilted heads.

Once this group would finally make it to the back room, the whiteboard would already be back out. There were two sets of couches. One where they could all sit, then across from it was the couch where the three young ladies were sitting. Valentine would immediately begin to size them up as they entered, but Lorielle would be waving to each of them while pushing a jar of snack towards them. "Welcome Welcome! It's a pleasure to be working with you today." They'd all await for the others to get situated before continuing this meeting.

PostSubject: Re: The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2)   The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) EmptyMon Nov 10, 2014 5:05 am

Daiki would actually give his teammates a puzzling look when they all started speaking up. Sure, he had cheered, but that was nowhere near as embarrassing as what they were doing. He was glad his family wasn’t here to see this, or he would never live it down. On the other hand, at least he wasn’t the only one doing this, and the others would be the only ones to know. Not a bad deal, all thing considered. He would almost cheer when that plan ended up working. He needed some kind of good news today, and getting one step closer to the goal was a good start. Thank goodness that blonde boy has chosen them. Little did Daiki realize that the blonde was not as young as he thought, nor was she a boy. She was just too dense to look closer and realize how wrong he was.

He would be the first to stand and follow after the blonde as they were led to the back room, but he wouldn’t stay in the lead. That position went to anyone besides him. He was only there to support them, not to take the leadership role. When he arrived, he would have to do a double take on the three standing around. Along with the blonde were two other women. One he recognized as the girl who stayed behind earlier, the other was Lorielle. He hadn’t seen her since that time on the roof, and after that she was taken in by the police. After that, well, he never saw her again to say the least. He couldn’t believe the set up in front of him. This really was a world that was not like their own. He took everything in him not to show his utter amazement at this entire situation, which was just now catching up to him. His mind was so distracted that he didn’t know what to say or how to react; not that he had ever planned to. He would leave that up to someone who was better with words than he was. If he did anything wrong, he was afraid how this situation would unfold. Though, he couldn’t help but stare at Lorielle. She was just as lovely in this world as she was in their own. That made it hard not to fawn over her like he wanted to, but he could hold back, given that there appeared to be a child in the room.

Tomoe grinned and let go of the two before following Daiki, stopping by one of the others who looked upset to apologize. She didn’t want to gloat, but maybe it was worth dressing something up to get any prior knowledge out of them. “Sorry you didn’t get selected. You deserved it….but why did they select us actually? Is there something going on between the group or anything? Maybe some disagreements? I just don’t exactly picture them picking us so easily,” she asked. Whatever the answer, Tomoe would take it to mind and return to follow the rest upstairs and taking a moment to look at the three girls before sitting on the couch with Daiki. She did not know who the smaller girl was, but she remembered the violet-haired girl from outside the tower, and Lorielle Rutherford, a victim of the case all that time ago. This may mean that Lorielle was going to be the one to die. She would take a snack from the jar with a thank you but would not eat it just yet. “So, I guess we are not too far from our destination that the heist is taking place at?” she’d ask the group. Nothing else could be said beyond that since she didn’t know the plan. She just waited for the rest to come in.

The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2)   The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) EmptyWed Nov 12, 2014 4:54 am

Kahn felt a weight slightly lift off his shoulders as they were picked...well at least they weren't going to have to sneak on. They had to protect someone after all, and they needed to know who. He followed Tomoe into the room, and was holding his breath. In the room he saw three girls. One was Gabby, another the young woman they saw outside the tower, and the final one made his heart nearly jump out of its chest in joy.

Lorielle....were they saving her? Was she the target? The very idea made Kahn want to let out a sigh of relief, but he could not after all there was no doubt that this Lorielle did not know him. They were strangers, but if he could save the one in his world. Then he could forgive himself for at least one of his failures. He had to keep this individual alive in order to get Lorielle back, and he was more than willing to do that! The red haired young man took a snack, thanking Lorielle for them, when Tomoe voiced her question, he nodded. Yes, what was the mischievous band of thieves trying to steal? Jewels of some sort perhaps? Either that or lots of money...granted Kahn had no idea what exactly they were after! Though for now he would just wait for the plan to be explained to him and his comrades.

The Hatchet and the Pirates (Reality 2) Empty

// Oh thank heavens. // She wasn't sure what they would've done if they were't picked. At least her actions had (hopefully) helped. If not...well, she must have looked quite silly for no reason. As the blonde figure standing above the crowd called them out, Destiny lowered her hand, trying to quell the rose tinge starting to color her cheeks. Goodness, that was actually a bit embarrassing. Daiki's perturbed look didn't exactly calm her, either. Standing up with the rest of the group, she followed them to the room the person walked into, glancing around the room for anyone particularly disgruntled about not being chosen. A would-be murderer wouldn't probably stand out that much, but at least it gave her something else to focus on other than what happened a few seconds ago.

Not long after, the girl found herself in a room with three new people. ...Well...almost new. She recognized the purple-haired girl from outside the tower. This must be this world's version of her, then. // Do we have doubles in this world too...? // flitted through the girl's mind, but she pushed the thought away in favor of studying the other two girls. One was the same girl who'd just picked them for their little heist; that, however, was the extent of Destiny's knowledge about this girl. The other she vaguely recognized as Lorielle Rutherford. They hadn't exactly been close--actually, they'd once spoken a few times and been in the same class during their second-year--but it was still a bit disorienting to see someone supposedly dead so...carefree. But then again, this world's Lorielle was a thief, not a victim. // Yet? // ...Perhaps it wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on this girl, just in case. Destiny smiled slightly and nodded in response to Lorielle's greeting, taking a seat on the couch along with the others. For now she'd politely decline the offer of a snack and instead listen attentively to Tomoe's question before looking towards the three other girls, awaiting their response. What exactly was their plan...?
