Since the first selected of the Crawling Chaos did not go as planned, it was time to give another person the shot. The power of Lumyr was taken, and ready to be bestowed on someone new. Though this would most likely be the last time this would happen. The Crawling Chaos could not act so drastically later down the road. This time, a young man would wake up outside the main entrance to Zela Academy, all alone, shaken awake like he had been in a deep dream…or was he in a dream right now? The first thing he’d notice aside from the lack of real sunlight around the school, was that a thick red fog littered the school. Another oddity that Michael noticed was that a black butterfly was flying around the courtyard, as though watching over the young man. When he woke up, the butterfly would fly into the open doors of the main lobby of the school, leaving him alone in the red fog of the outside. He wouldn't be able to hear any sound around him, only the eerie silence that thickened the field, like a plague had just struck.

This was peculiar alright... Even more peculiar than his usual dreams. His eyes would glance over the schoolyard... A place he was rather well versed in traversing. What could have caused this dream... He wondered? He was, previously, playing piano in his room, enjoying it's melodies before he had laid his head down against it, and slowly dozed off. What he had hoped would have just been a lovely little rest was now the makings of a stoner's nightmares. He sighed softly, pulling out a cigar from his pocket (Assuming he had them), and would light one as he'd eye the butterfly a moment. Black... Not a Monarch Butterly... What kind of butterfly was it? Let alone... Why was it here... Well... There is only one thing to do, when you have a messed up dream. You follow the only source of life there is. Slowly trotting along the pavement, as he went to follow the peculiar insect into the school, pausing for a moment before entering to glare up to the red mist and the lightless sky above him.

When he walked into the lobby, he’d find that no butterfly awaited him. In fact, it was just the back of a man who was chewing on a toothpick and flipping a coin in his hand….until the toothpick emanated grey smoke into the red fog when the man pulled it from his mouth to reveal the burn marks of what was actually a cigar. “I see….so you are the one who decided to wake up? Can’t say I’m impressed, but perhaps I can work with you,” he said, in a voice akin to Michael’s save for a dark distortion as though two voices were talking at the same time. He finally turned around and took another drag of his cigar.

He gave an amused grin, as a spitting image of Michael stood in front of him, acting as though nothing was strange at all, and chuckled lightly. “Look no further, for I have brought you into this world. If you can simply guess why I brought you here, I shall explain a few things,” he said, his amused face still eyeing the man through dark shades which concealed one of his eyes, but under the right vision, the original Michael could see that one of his eyes were golden even under the shades. The situation was eerie if not completely unsettling, but Other Michael acted as though he was without a care. And he was. The Crawling Chaos had no need to worry did he?

He stared at his doppleganger for a moment, his eyebrows actually lifting upwards for a moment in surprise. It wasn't some crappy attempt to look like him, whoever this was looked EXACTLY like he did. He let out the current drag he had taken from his cigar and listened to the other, so he had a chance to figure out why he was here did he? He pulled the cigar from his lips, tapping the ashes down to the school floor before crossing his arms over his chest. "Well lets see... You pulled me into school after hours... You look exactly like me... So.. I'm here to be tortured to death with extra curricular classes, and you decided to look good while doing it?" Michael would take on the greatest of all the shit eating grins as he'd slide his shades down his nose to match eyes with the other, smirking a bit. "Am I right?"

Of course, Michael knew that was far from the truth. He knew for a fact his assumption was probably going to get him punched right in the stomach too. But he would have rathered at least kept his poise about this situation then act like a scared child. Granted, he was afraid, but he's spent his entire life keeping a cool exterior despite how pissed off or depressed he was on the inside. "Either that or you've put a lot of work to set up this spook show to try to get ahold of my money... I'm going to go with that one." Oh my god Michael stop talking...

The God smirked. "So, you take this easier than most. Do you truly understand the circumstances or are you just foolish?" as he said that while turning around, a severe sharp pain would enter Michael's mind, debilitating him for a brief moment. The pain would subside eventually, and in his view, he'd see the rifts that those with the potential could now see among various places in the school, each rift depicting a different view of the desert that is the alternate world. "I wonder if you even thought about what has been going on in your world. Did you know that your world among various others are in danger of being consumed or destroyed? Maybe choosing to give you power was a wrong call. You seem so as you humans call it, lacking in your head. What if you were given a power to change the world and bring about your ideal outcome? What would you do with the power to create or destroyed what you pleased?" he turned his head to the side, a golden eye with a piercing gaze at Michael, as if putting a lighthouse light over his very soul, leaving it bare and viewed by all.

Michael held his forehead a moment, teeth gritting as the painful sensation coursed through his mind. When his vision and his senses cleared in full he regained what footing he might have lost and stared toward his doppleganger, waiting for him to finish before speaking back. "A fool would cower and question... You either brought me here for a reason, or you brought me here to kill me.. If the latter, I'm not going to just die with a whimper and on my knees like some Curr... Thats far beneath me.. If the former, you'll tell me what it is or our business here will be done with... As for that power?" He folded his arms back over his chest, eyes looking around at the rifts for a moment, losing his train of thought before turning back to the Faux-Michael, " If I had that power, I'd make sure I have the throne I so rightly f*cking deserve." The answer was simple, and direct. That was all Michael wanted, to be treated like the royalty he felt he always was.

The God pondered Michael for a moment, but soon started to chuckle. This kid was a waste. But perhaps a good waste. He would snap his fingers and toss the cigar onto the floor between the two, and the smoke from the cigar seemed to spread on it, and catch fire, spreaking into a small circle between the two that rose higher and higher. Folowing, a hand grabbed the outside foor of the circle, which looked like it belonged to a life-size puppet, and then another.....and then another. So many hands including a main of black hair leaped in front of the circle to look at Michael beneath his thick hair. "You have no purpose, you are naught but a tool. But I can change that. Your worlds can be destroyed soon if nothing happens, but you can change it how you will after you do a little digging. I can offer you power, the power to shape the world to your will. This world is nothing but scum, but you can make something of it, your very own "throne"..." as he spoke, another rift opened up to his side that showed him in bed, sleeping soundly. If he walked into it, he'd wake up and nothing would change. But would he join this power, and finally work towards his own world?

Michael cocked his head for a moment towards the open rift towards his sleeping body. Staring at it for bit as he considered what was about to go down. Not just with himself, but the world as a whole should he accept this offer. He turned back to the mass before him, holding up a middle finger towards the rift of his sleeping body. "Two things... For one? I'm not a tool... I'll never be a tool. Tools are the things people like me use for their own gain, their own whims. I'm used by no one but those I chose to let use me. Two... Show me how to make this world see my glory for what it really is... God.. Thing...." Stopping his path right before the black main, staring back at it fully.

The monster smirked at Michael, though he would not be able to see it under his hair. "I am Makhai. You better show me what we can take for ourselves," he said, before fading into a black mist and covering Michael for a few moments, cutting off his airflow until the mist seemed to be absorbed into him. The presense of Makhai was now very obviously within his head. "You have another ability at your disposal. For each mortal you make into your tool, you shall gain another god or demon to aid you in battle. I wonder what you shall do with it? You are a very interesting case. You may find your destiny and meaning in life. I bet it has something to do with the worlds closing in on your home. In fact, why not go exploring? Acquire some allies, and defeat the one who is doing the same. I wager he has a small group under the insipid butterfly they call Philemon. Will you find your happy freedom, will you defeat those who want to take it from you? Both? Neither? Ahahahahahahaha! I can hardly wait to see what you humans come up with! I imagine you'll understand what to do with the causes behind the turmoils in each world." the God cackled. The rift that lead to his bedroom now had an empty bed in it. Michael could now walk in it and wake up in his room, with his newfound powers.

His eyes glanced to Philemon for a moment, before just grinning. Turning to the rift, as he spoke. "I hope you like music then, God. For I plan to play a symphony of destruction until I have my rightful throne. If not? Well, tough shit, I suppose." Sliding his glasses up his nose, as he'd move through it. Sitting up in his bed, as he'd look around a bit later, grinning as he'd feel the difference from when he was just a human. The feeling of having something else apart of him. Poor neighbors, they'd be woken up to the sound of such a maniacal laugh.
